Abstract

The invention relates to a piece of furniture (1) comprising a body (2), on which body (2) a drawer (3) and at least one inner drawer (5) are held in a movable manner, which at least one inner drawer (5) is at least partially covered in the closed position by a front panel (4) of the drawer (3), and which at least one inner drawer (5) is pushed out by means of at least one ejection device (12) as soon as the locking mechanism of the ejection device (12) has been unlocked by moving a drive element (13) by means of an energy accumulator drive. An activator (16) is provided on the drawer (3) or a component connected to the drawer (3) so as to create, in a predetermined open position of the drawer (3), unlocking of the locking means of the ejection means (12) of the inner drawer (3) by actuating means (17, 19, 25, 29).

Description

Furniture and method for opening drawers and inner drawers
Technical Field
The invention relates to a piece of furniture having a furniture body on which a drawer and at least one inner drawer are movably held, wherein the at least one inner drawer is at least partially covered by a front panel of the drawer in a closed position and can be ejected by means of at least one ejection device after unlocking a locking device of the ejection device by moving a drive element driven by an energy store, and to a method for opening a drawer and an inner drawer on a piece of furniture.
Background
EP 1901633B 1 discloses a piece of furniture having a drawer and an inner drawer, each of which can be ejected from a closed position to an open position by an ejection device. The two ejection devices are connected to each other by a switching element to move the drawer by means of a control or regulating device. However, the use of electric drives and control devices is relatively complicated and leads to an undesirable energy consumption. In addition, the processing is not intuitive and straightforward for the user.
Disclosure of Invention
It is therefore an object of the present invention to create a piece of furniture and a method for opening a drawer and an inner drawer, which allow easy opening of the inner drawer and improved handling.
This object is solved by a piece of furniture having the features of claim 1 and a method having the features of claim 11.
In the piece of furniture according to the invention, a drawer and at least one inner drawer are provided, wherein the at least one inner drawer can be ejected by means of at least one ejection device which can be triggered by an activator arranged with the drawer or a component connected to the drawer, wherein the activator unlocks a locking device of the ejection device of the inner drawer in a predetermined opening position of the drawer. This allows the ejection device for the inner drawer to be mechanically unlocked by moving the drawer, which simplifies operation. The user only has to open the drawer and can thus also eject the inner drawer by means of the ejection device in the predetermined open position. Ejection is also performed mechanically by the drive element of the ejection device driven by the accumulator.
The activator is preferably provided on the drawer or on a slide of the pull-out guide and can be engaged with the actuating device to unlock the locking device. This allows the activator to move in the opening direction and the closing direction and enables unlocking of the ejector in a predetermined opening position. Subsequently, the actuating device is fixedly arranged and can be actuated by means of an activator, for example a gear wheel formed by a rod can be moved, wherein the rod can in particular be rotated. Alternatively, the bowden cable or a gear formed by other elements may transmit the movement to the ejection device through the activator. The actuating means preferably has a pivotable lever which pivots when the activator travels over the lever so that a reliable triggering at a predetermined position is ensured. The lever can be pretensioned into the initial position by a spring, so that the lever also automatically returns.
In a further embodiment, a self-closing device is provided which pulls the inner drawer into a closed position in the closed region and holds it there, and the tensioning of the energy store of the ejection device takes place substantially in front of the closed region. Such a combination of an ejection device with a self-closing device simplifies the operation, wherein the ejection device can be designed for this purpose, for example as disclosed in DE 102016113044.
Preferably, the actuating means are actuated when the drawer has covered at least half the distance from the maximum open position. This allows the user to open the drawer first, which is then at least partially accessible, and the inner drawer will unlock and pop out only when the drawer opens after half the distance from the maximum open position, preferably after 2/3 or 3/4 from the maximum open position. The inner drawer can also be released only when the drawer has just reached the maximum opening position, so that when opening the drawer, the user can decide whether the inner drawer should also be opened.
In order to be able to accommodate high weights also on the inner drawer, two ejectors are preferably provided on the inner drawer, which two ejectors are synchronized by the synchronization means, i.e. when the locking means of one ejector is unlocked by the synchronization means, the locking means of the other ejector is also unlocked at the same time. This means that two drive elements preloaded by the energy accumulator can eject the inner drawer in the opening direction.
The drawer may also be ejected by one or two ejectors. Alternatively, the drawer may also be manually moved in the opening direction using the handle without the ejection device.
Preferably, the at least one ejection device of the inner drawer can also be optionally unlocked by pressing the inner drawer into the overpressure position before the closed position. This gives the user the option of opening the inner drawer by moving the drawer or by pressing in the inner drawer.

Detailed Description
The piece of furniture 1 comprises a furniture body 2, on which furniture body 2 a drawer 3 is movably mounted. As shown in fig. 2, the drawer 3 is located below the inner drawer 5, wherein the front panel 4 of the drawer 3 conceals the front panel 6 of the inner drawer 5 such that it is not visible in the closed position (fig. 1).
As shown in fig. 3, both the drawer 3 and the inner drawer 5 are displaceably held on the furniture carcass 2 by means of pull-out guides 8, wherein each pull-out guide 8 has a fixed rail 9, an intermediate rail 10 and a running rail 11, wherein the pull-out guides 8 can also be used with only two rails or more than three rails. Each pull-out guide is mounted on a side wall of the furniture body 2 by means of a mounting bracket 7.
A holder 30 is fixed to each pull-out guide 8, and the ejector 12 is held on the pull-out guide 8. A drive element 13 is guided linearly on each ejection device 12, which ejection device 12 is tensioned in the opening direction by an energy accumulator in order to eject the drawer 3 or the inner drawer 5. The ejector 12 may be designed in the manner disclosed in DE 102016113044.
The two ejectors 12 for the inner drawer and the two ejectors 13 for the drawer 3 are each coupled to each other by a synchronization device 14, said synchronization device 14 being designed as a rotatable lever and ensuring that when the locking device of one ejector 12 is unlocked, the locking device of the other ejector 12 is also unlocked, so that both ejectors 12 eject the drawer 3 or the inner drawer 5 simultaneously.
In fig. 4A and 4B, the inner drawer 5 is shown in the closed position and the drawer 3 has been omitted, so that the pull-out guide 8 is visible for the drawer 3. An activator 16 in the form of a projection is provided on the outside of the sliding rail 11 of the pull-out guide 8 for the drawer, which activator 16 acts on the pivotable lever 17 and pivots it when a predetermined opening position of the drawer 3 is reached. The lever 17 is rotatably mounted on a housing 18, said housing 18 being fixed to a side wall of the furniture body 2.
As can be seen in fig. 5A and 5B, the rod 17 rotates a vertical rod 19 coupled to the rod 17. The vertical rod 19 is connected to the horizontal rod 25 by means of a first deflection device 20. The deflection device 20 comprises a pot-shaped housing on which a first support 21 for the vertical rod 19 and a second support 22 for the horizontal rod 25 are formed. On one end side of the vertical rod 19 there is a tooth 23 and on one end side of the horizontal rod 25 there is a tooth 24, said teeth 23 and 24 being in engagement with each other, so that by turning the vertical rod 19 the horizontal rod 25 is also turned. Alternatively, instead of gears, other mechanical devices, such as universal joints, for example, may also be used.
The horizontal rod 25 is coupled to an actuating shaft 29 by means of a further deflection device 26. The deflector 26 also comprises a pot-shaped housing on which supports 27 and 28 are provided for the rod 25 and the actuating shaft 29. The horizontal rod 25 comprises a tooth 35 at the end in the region of the deflection means 26, said tooth 35 engaging with the tooth 31 of the actuation shaft 29. The actuating shaft 29 is coupled by means of two gears 32 and 34 to an unlocking shaft 33, which unlocking shaft 33 is in turn connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the synchronization device 14. The unlocking shaft 33 can be used to unlock the locking means of the ejector 12 by means of at least one radially protruding projection in order to move the pretensioned drive element along the guide in the opening direction. The drive element 13 can be coupled to a coupling element on the inner drawer 5 or on a slide of the pull-out guide 8 for the inner drawer 3 of the ejection region and is separated at a distance from the ejection region. For loading the energy accumulator of the ejection device 12, the drive element 13 is moved in the closing direction by the support element, wherein the load of the energy accumulator is arranged to be deflected by the ejection device 12 to the ejection path, i.e. at a distance from the closed position. This means that the energy accumulator can first be loaded and locked by moving the drive element 13 in the closing direction before the self-closing device 40 pulls the inner drawer 3 in the closing direction on the drawer guide 8 and holds it in the closed position. The self-closing device 40 may also have a damper to slow the closing movement of the inner drawer 5.
Fig. 6A and 6B show the ejection device 12 and the pull-out guide 8 for the drawer 3 and the inner drawer 5. The pivotable lever 17 has been pushed back to its initial position by the energy accumulator and can be passed over by the activator 16 when the slide rail is moved, without the locking device being unlocked, for example, because a flywheel is provided.
The opening of the inner drawer can be achieved by opening the drawer, wherein the drawer in the embodiment shown can be ejected by the ejection means 12 when the front panel 4 is pressed from the closed position into the overpressure position in order to unlock the two ejection means 12 for the drawer 3. Alternatively, the drawer 3 may also be equipped with a handle element on the front panel 4, and the drawer 3 may then be moved in the opening direction by means of the handle element. The opening movement of the drawer, irrespective of how the drawer 3 is moved in the opening direction, can unlock one or both ejection devices 12 for the inner drawer 5, wherein the activator 16 pivots the lever 17 of the actuating device, whereby the vertical lever 19, the horizontal lever 15, the actuating shaft 29 and, consequently, the unlocking shaft 33 are brought into a rotational movement. This drive chain produces the unlocking of the locking means of the two ejectors 12, said two ejectors 12 being additionally synchronized by the synchronization means 14 in order to eject the inner drawer 5 when the predetermined position of the drawer 3 is reached. For ejection purposes, the two drive elements 13 of the ejection device 12 are moved in the opening direction.
The position at which the activator 16 acts on the actuating means for ejecting the inner drawer 5 may preferably lie within an opening range of at least 50% (preferably at least 70%) of the maximum distance the drawer has travelled to from the maximum open position. The activator 16 can also be equipped with an adjusting device, so that a position can be set in which the drawer unlocks the ejection device 12 for the inner drawer 5 by means of the activator 16.
In the shown embodiment, the ejection means is coupled to the activator by a gear wheel consisting of a rotatable lever. The gear may also be formed by other elements, such as bowden cables or other gear elements. Instead of the fixed ejector 12, an ejector mounted on the drawer or the slide may also be provided, such that the drive element 13 of the ejector 12 interacts with the fixed holder to eject the inner drawer and/or drawer.

Claims (11)

1. A piece of furniture (1) having a furniture body (2), a drawer (3) and at least one inner drawer (5) being movably held on the furniture body (2), wherein the at least one inner drawer (5) is at least partially covered by a front panel (4) of the drawer (3) in a closed position and the at least one inner drawer (5) can be ejected by means of at least one ejection device (12) after unlocking the locking device of the ejection device (12) by moving a drive element (13) with energy accumulator drive, characterized in that an activator (16) is provided on the drawer (3) or a component connected to the drawer (3) in order to achieve unlocking of the locking device of the ejection device (12) of the inner drawer (3) by means of an actuating device (17, 19, 25, 29) in a predetermined open position of the drawer (3), wherein the ejection is performed mechanically by means of driving the drive element by an energy accumulator of the ejection device.
2. Piece of furniture according to claim 1, characterized in that the activator (16) is arranged on a sliding rail (11) of the drawer (3) or pull-out guide (8).
3. Piece of furniture according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the actuation means (17, 19, 25, 29) are actuated when the drawer (3) has travelled at least half the distance from the maximum open position.
4. Piece of furniture according to claim 3, characterized in that the actuating device comprises a pivotable lever (17), the pivotable lever (17) pivoting when the activator (16) travels on the lever.
5. Piece of furniture according to claim 4, characterized in that the actuating device (17, 19, 25, 29) comprises one or more rotatable levers coupled to the ejection device (12).

Piece of furniture according to claim 5, characterized in that a self-closing device (40) is provided which pulls the inner drawer (5) into a closed position in a closed area and holds the inner drawer (5) in the closed position, and the tensioning of the energy accumulator of the ejection device (12) takes place substantially in front of the closed area.

10. Piece of furniture according to claim 9, characterized in that the ejection device (12) of the inner drawer (5) can optionally also be unlocked by pressing the inner drawer (5) from the closed position into an overpressure position.
11. Method for opening a drawer (3) and an inner drawer (5) on a piece of furniture (1), comprising the steps of:
-moving the drawer (3) in an opening direction from a closed position;
-unlocking the locking device of the ejection device (12) for the inner drawer (5) by means of an activator (16), said activator (16) being coupled to the drawer (3) and acting on actuating means (17, 19, 25, 29)) in a predetermined opening position for unlocking the locking device, and
-ejecting the inner drawer (5) in the opening direction by means of a drive element (13), the drive element (13) being pretensioned by an energy accumulator of the ejection device (12).
