(embodiment mode)
The faucet device according to the embodiment of the present invention will be described below. Fig. 1 is an overall side view of a faucet assembly according to an embodiment of the present invention. Fig. 2 is a longitudinal sectional view of the faucet of fig. 1, with the discharge head omitted.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, a faucet device 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention is a single-handle faucet. The faucet device 1 includes a handle 3 for adjusting a mixing ratio of cold water and hot water and a water volume of a mixed water of the cold water and the hot water, a water pipe 5 through which the mixed water passes, a water discharge head 7 connected to a tip end of the water pipe 5, and a water outlet pipe 9 through which the internal water supply pipe 5 is inserted to support the handle 3. The faucet device 1 further includes a base 11 erected on an installation stand, and a holder 13 attached to the inside of the outlet pipe 9 and guiding the water pipe 5. The water discharge head 7 is detachably attached to the water outlet pipe 9.
The water outlet pipe 9 is branched into two pipes from a lower portion connected to the base 11 toward an upper portion, and includes a support pipe 9A for supporting the handle 3 and a branch pipe 9B through which the water pipe 5 passes. The angle θ of the branch pipe 9B with respect to the vertical direction is larger than 45 degrees and smaller than 90 degrees. Therefore, the angle at which the branch pipe 9B of the faucet device 1 rises is gentler than that of the outlet pipe of the shower head used in a bathroom. The holder 13 is inserted and fixed in the top end opening 9Ba of the branch tube 9B. The outlet pipe 9 is made of metal or resin, and is easily cleaned when made of acrylic acid, for example.
The holder 13 is formed of a molded part of an upper holder 21 and a lower holder 23 divided into two parts along the sliding direction of the water pipe 5, for example. The holder 13 has a guide hole 25 in which the water supply pipe 5 is movably inserted, and has a substantially cylindrical shape. The holder 13 is made of resin, and is molded from a material having high wear resistance and sliding properties, such as Polyoxymethylene (POM). The guide hole 25 has a large-diameter guide hole 27 and a small-diameter guide hole 29 having different inner diameters. In the holder 13, the large-diameter guide hole 27 is formed closer to the leading side of the water pipe 5, i.e., the tip side, than the small-diameter guide hole 29.
Reference is next made to fig. 3. Fig. 3 is an enlarged view of the tip end portion of the water tube 5. A joint 15 connected to the water discharge head 7 is connected to the tip of the water pipe 5. A fitting 17 is fixed to the joint portion 15. The attachment metal fitting 17 protrudes radially outward from the joint 15 and the water pipe 5. The joint part 15 has an outer diameter R1 larger than an outer diameter R2 of the water pipe 5. In a state where the water discharge head 7 is mounted on the water outlet pipe 9, a part of the joint portion 15 having the outer diameter R1 on the water pipe 5 side is accommodated in the large-diameter guide hole 27 of the holder 13, and the lower surface of the mounting metal member 17 abuts against the base 19 of the holder 13. Thereby, the water pipe 5 is restricted from further entering the faucet device 1.
Next, fig. 4 and 5 are referred to. Fig. 4 is a partial perspective view of the outlet pipe 9. Fig. 5 is a bottom view of the outlet pipe 9. The lower surface of the branch pipe 9B of the water outlet pipe 9 is provided with a hole 9Bb into which the protrusion 23C of the lower holder 23 is fitted, and a drain hole 9Bc for discharging water from the notch 23D (see fig. 8) of the lower holder 23 to the outside of the water outlet pipe 9. The hole 9Bb is disposed on the tip side of the branch pipe 9B with respect to the water discharge hole 9 Bc. The width of the drain hole 9Bc in the circumferential direction of the branch pipe 9B is larger than the width of the hole 9Bb in the circumferential direction of the branch pipe 9B. Further, in the tip end opening 9Ba of the branch pipe 9B of the outlet pipe 9, for example, recesses 9Bd into which the convex portions 23E (see fig. 9) of the lower holder 23 are fitted are formed at two positions along the opening.
Next, fig. 6 is referred to. Fig. 6 is an exploded perspective view of the holder 13. The holder 13 is divided along the moving direction of the water pipe 5. The upper holder 21 and the lower holder 23 have a substantially semi-cylindrical shape with a cavity formed in the longitudinal direction on the inner side. The upper holder 21 has, for example, four pins 21A, and these pins 21A are inserted into four holes 24 (see fig. 8) formed in the lower holder 23, respectively, so that the upper holder 21 is integrated with the lower holder 23. Two holes 24 formed on the base end side opposite to the tip end side of the lower holder 23 among the four holes 24 are in a long hole shape. Thereby, the coupling of the upper holder 21 and the lower holder 23 is facilitated.
Next, fig. 7 to 9 are referred to. Fig. 7 is an inside perspective view of the upper holder 21. Fig. 8 is an inside perspective view of the lower holder 23. Fig. 9 is an outside perspective view of the lower holder. The upper holder 21 has a first upper rib 27A of a semicircular length formed along the inner periphery of the distal end opening, and the lower holder 23 has a first lower rib 27B of a semicircular length formed along the inner periphery of the distal end opening. The first upper rib 27A and the first lower rib 27B constitute a large-diameter guide hole 27 of the retainer 13 in combination.
Further, in the upper holder 21, a second upper rib 29A having a semicircular length is formed along the inner periphery on the base end side of the first upper rib 27A, and in the lower holder 23, a second lower rib 29B having a semicircular length is formed along the inner periphery on the base end side of the first lower rib 27B, and the second upper rib 29A and the second lower rib 29B are combined to form a small-diameter guide hole 29 of the holder 13. The first upper rib 27A and the first lower rib 27B have the same inner diameter R3. The second upper rib 29A and the second lower rib 29B have the same inner diameter R4. The inner diameter R4 of the second upper rib 29A is smaller than the inner diameter R3 of the first upper rib 27A. In addition, the inner diameter R4 of the second lower rib 29B is smaller than the inner diameter R3 of the first lower rib 27B.
The holder 13 has a plurality of, for example, two small-diameter guide holes 29, and an intermediate portion 31 is provided between the adjacent small-diameter guide holes 29. The inner diameter of the intermediate portion 31 is larger than the inner diameter of the small-diameter guide hole 29. The small-diameter guide holes 29 of the holder 13 are not limited to two, and may be three or more.
On the outer peripheral surface of the holder 13, there is a groove 33 formed along the circumferential direction. The upper holder 21 and the lower holder 23 are formed with grooves 33A and 33B formed along the circumferential direction of the outer peripheral surfaces thereof, and the grooves 33 of the holder 13 are formed by combining these grooves. In the groove 33, a seal member 35 for sealing between the retainer 13 and the branch pipe 9B is fitted. The sealing member 35 is, for example, an O-ring.
A small-diameter guide hole 29 is formed radially inside the groove 33. That is, the second upper rib 29A is formed radially inward of the groove 33A of the upper holder 21, and the second lower rib 29B is formed radially inward of the groove 33B of the lower holder 23. Therefore, when the groove 33 of the holder 13 is tightened by the O-ring, the small-diameter guide hole 29 is also tightened, and the gap with the water pipe 5 can be reduced.
A base 19 is formed between the groove 33 of the holder 13 and the large-diameter guide hole 27, and the base 19 is formed by projecting radially outward from the outer peripheral surface of the holder 13. That is, the upper base 19A is formed to protrude radially outward from the outer peripheral surface of the upper holder 21 between the groove 33A and the first upper rib 27A. Further, a lower base 19B is formed to protrude from the outer peripheral surface of the lower holder 23 between the groove 33B and the first lower rib 27B. The upper base 19A and the lower base 19B form an annular base 19.
The upper holder 21 has a third upper rib 37 formed along the inner circumferential direction of the upper holder 21 on the insertion direction side (base end side) of the water pipe 5 with respect to the second upper rib 29A, which is different from the second upper rib 29A. The lower holder 23 is not formed with a rib combined with the third upper rib 37. Thus, in the retainer 13, a rib is formed above the semicircular part of the upper half of the cross section of the water tube 5. Thereby, the water flowing along the upper portion of the water pipe 5 flows to the third upper rib 37, flows along the third upper rib 37, and is guided toward the notch 23D.
The lower holder 23 has a drain hole 23A formed in the lower surface between the first lower rib 27B and the groove 33B. The lower holder 23 further includes: a tongue piece 23B extending from the groove 33B in a direction intersecting the circumferential direction of the lower holder 23, a protrusion 23C formed at a base end side end of the tongue piece 23B, a notch 23D formed in a direction intersecting the circumferential direction of the lower holder 23, and convex portions 23E formed at, for example, two places along the outer periphery of the lower holder 23.
The tongue 23B has an undercut arch shape. Due to this shape, water easily flows between the tongue piece 23B and the inner peripheral surface of the branch pipe 9B. Notches 23D are formed on both sides of the tongue piece 23B and the protrusion 23C along the moving direction of the water pipe 5. The notch 23D is provided below the lower holder 23, and the upper side of the holder 13 on the opposite side of the notch 23D abuts on the outlet pipe 9. The protrusion 23E is formed on the outer peripheral edge of the lower holder 23 on the extraction side of the water pipe 5 with respect to the groove 33A.
Next, fig. 10 is referred to. Fig. 10 is an enlarged cross-sectional view of the connecting portion of the holder and the branch pipe as seen from the base end side. The protrusion 23E of the lower holder 23 is fitted into the recess 9Bd of the branch pipe 9B of the outlet pipe 9 to prevent the holder 13 from rotating with respect to the outlet pipe 9. Thus, the protruding portion 23E of the lower holder 23 and the recessed portion 9Bd of the branch pipe 9B of the outlet pipe 9 constitute a rotation stop structure.
Next, the flow of water W flowing through the water pipe 5 in the faucet device 1 according to the embodiment will be described with reference to fig. 11. Fig. 11 is an explanatory diagram illustrating the flow of water W in the faucet device 1 according to the embodiment. The drain hole 23A, the seal member 35, the notch 23D, and the drain hole 9Bc are arranged in the holder 13 in this order from the tip end side, which is the extraction side of the water pipe 5 in the branch pipe 9B. When the water pipe 5 is inserted into the water outlet pipe 9, the water removed from the water pipe 5 through the large-diameter guide hole 27 of the holder 13 falls through the water discharge hole 23A so as not to enter the water outlet pipe 9.
The water W flowing through the water pipe 5 in the gap between the large-diameter guide hole 27 and the water pipe 5 flows into the small-diameter guide hole 29 and is accumulated in the intermediate portion 31 of the holder 13. When the water W accumulated in the intermediate portion 31 of the holder 13 overflows from the intermediate portion 31, the water W flows along the lower holder 23, passes through the notch 23D, and flows from the drain hole 9Bc to the outside of the outlet pipe 9. The water that has passed through the small-diameter guide hole 29 and flows along the water pipe 5 is guided to the notch 23D by its own weight. Since the notch 23D is formed in the holder 13, the water W quickly reaches the inner surface of the outlet pipe 9. Thus, the water W is discharged from the drain hole 9Bc, and is less likely to enter the main body of the outlet pipe 9 and the base 11 beyond the drain hole 9 Bc. As a result, the water receiving tank in the cabinet can be eliminated. The water that has passed through the small-diameter guide hole 29 and flowed along the upper portion of the water pipe 5 also flows to the third upper rib 37 on the base end side of the small-diameter guide hole 29, flows downward under its own weight along the third upper rib 37, and is guided to the notch 23D.
As described above, the faucet device 1 according to the present invention includes the outlet pipe 9 and the holder 13 attached to the outlet pipe 9 and having the guide hole 25 in which the water supply pipe 5 is movably inserted, and the holder 13 is formed by combining the upper holder 21 and the lower holder 23, which are at least two molded members. Since the holder 13 having the guide hole 25 through which the water supply pipe 5 is inserted is formed by combining at least two molded pieces, the guide hole 25 can be easily formed as compared with a case of molding as a single piece. This can easily reduce the gap between the guide hole 25 and the water pipe 5. As a result, the guide hole 25 can prevent water flowing through the water pipe 5, and the water can be prevented from entering the faucet device 1 through the water pipe 5. Since the amount of water entering the faucet device 1 can be reduced, the water receiving tank can be disposed without being disposed below the water pipe 5.
The guide hole 25 may include a large-diameter guide hole 27 and a small-diameter guide hole 29 having different inner diameters. The guide hole 25 is provided with the small-diameter guide hole 29, so that the water pipe 5 can be guided, and the water intrusion can be reduced. The clearance between the large-diameter guide hole 27 and the water pipe 5 is larger than the clearance between the small-diameter guide hole 29 and the water pipe 5. Therefore, since the guide hole 25 is provided with the large-diameter guide hole 27, the water pipe 5 can be guided, and the slidability between the water pipe 5 and the holder 13 can be improved.
The holder 13 is provided with a plurality of small-diameter guide holes 29, and further, an intermediate portion 31 having a larger inner diameter than the small-diameter guide holes 29 is provided between the adjacent small-diameter guide holes 29. More specifically, the guide hole 25 includes a plurality of small-diameter guide holes 29 intersecting the moving direction of the water pipe 5, and the retainer 13 includes an intermediate portion 31 having an inner diameter larger than that of the small-diameter guide holes 29 between the adjacent small-diameter guide holes 29. Thereby, the water flowing through the water pipe 5 is weakened by the small-diameter guide hole 29, and the water flowing through the water pipe 5 is concentrated and accumulated in the space of the intermediate portion 31. Therefore, the flow of water from the water pipe 5 to the inside of the faucet device 1 can be reduced. Further, since the at least one small-diameter guide hole 29 is disposed on the side of the notch 23D from which the water pipe 5 is drawn out, the water collected by the small-diameter guide hole 29 easily flows out from the notch 23D.
The outlet tube 9 is made of acrylic acid, the outlet tube 9 has a support tube 9A for supporting the handle 3 and a branch tube 9B branched from the support tube 9A, the outlet tube 9 has a recess 9Bd in the peripheral edge of a distal end opening 9Ba of the branch tube 9B, the holder 13 has a projection 23E in the outer peripheral edge, and the projection 23E of the holder 13 is fitted into the recess 9Bd of the outlet tube 9.
The outlet pipe 9 is easy to clean because the outlet pipe 9 is made of acrylic acid. Further, since the handle 3 is supported by the outlet pipe 9, water can easily flow into the outlet pipe 9 through the water pipe 5 when the handle 3 is washed, but the water intrusion can be reduced by the holder 13. Since outlet pipe 9 is made of acrylic acid, the moldability of outlet pipe 9 is inferior to that of other resin materials, and there is a possibility that outlet pipe 9 may be broken when the mounting structure between outlet pipe 9 and holder 13 is, for example, a screw structure. Since the convex portion 23E of the holder 13 is fitted in the concave portion 9Bd of the outlet pipe 9, the rotation stop structure between the outlet pipe 9 and the holder 13 can be realized while avoiding damage to the outlet pipe 9 made of acrylic acid.
The small-diameter guide hole 29 is a rib formed along the inner circumferential direction of the holder 13. Thus, the small-diameter guide hole 29 is formed so as to be orthogonal to the drawing direction of the water pipe 5, and water flowing along the water pipe 5 can be easily removed. Further, since the small-diameter guide hole 29 is formed by a rib, even if the clearance between the small-diameter guide hole 29 and the water pipe 5 is small, the slidability between the small-diameter guide hole 29 and the water pipe 5 can be improved.
The holder 13 further includes a third upper rib 37 formed along the inner circumferential direction of the holder 13 on the insertion direction side of the water pipe 5 with respect to the small-diameter guide hole 29. This allows water that has passed through the small-diameter guide hole 29 to be removed by the other third upper ribs 37.
The faucet device 1 according to the present invention can solve the problems described below. Referring to fig. 12, the flow of water W in the conventional faucet device will be described. Fig. 12 is an explanatory diagram illustrating a flow of weak water W in the conventional faucet device. In the conventional faucet apparatus 101, a water pipe 107 inserted into a branch pipe 105 of a water outlet pipe 103 is guided by a holder 109. A seal member 111 is disposed between the holder 109 and the branch pipe 105 at the water pipe insertion side end of the holder 109. In the branch pipe 105, a drain hole 113 is opened on the water pipe insertion side of the seal member 111.
When the flow of the water W is weak, the water W having entered the water pipe 107 drops down to the inner surface of the holder 109 below the water pipe 107 by its own weight. The falling water W flows from the drain hole 113 to the outside of the outlet pipe 103 along the holder 109. However, when the flow of the water W is strong, the water may not flow out of the drain hole 113. This state is explained with reference to fig. 13.
Fig. 13 is an explanatory diagram showing a strong flow of water W in the conventional faucet device. Since the drain hole 113 of the branch pipe 105 is disposed near the base end of the holder 109, the water W flowing through the water pipe 107 flows through the drain hole 113 and enters the base of the water outlet pipe 103 instead of dropping due to its own weight due to its strong flow. When the flow of the water W entering the water pipe 107 is strong, the water W may flow directly through the water pipe 107, pass through the faucet device 101, and flow to the tank, without flowing out through the drain hole 113 provided in the water outlet pipe 103.
The faucet device 1 of the present invention includes: a handle 3 for adjusting the amount of water; a water outlet pipe 9 having a support pipe 9A for supporting the handle 3 and a branch pipe 9B branched from the support pipe 9A; a holder 13 installed in the branch pipe 9B and having a guide hole 25 in which the water supply pipe 5 is movably inserted; and a sealing member 35 for sealing between the holder 13 and the branch pipe 9B. The angle of the branch pipe 9B with respect to the vertical direction is greater than 45 degrees and less than 90 degrees, the branch pipe 9B has a drain hole 9Bc on the lower surface, the holder 13 has a notch 23D for discharging the water accumulated in the holder 13, and the seal member 35, the notch 23D, and the drain hole 9Bc are arranged in this order from the extraction side of the water pipe 5 of the branch pipe 9B.
Since the angle of the branch pipe 9B of the outlet pipe 9 to which the holder 13 through which the water supply pipe 5 is movably inserted is larger than 45 degrees and smaller than 90 degrees with respect to the vertical direction, the angle of the portion through which the outlet pipe of the water pipe 5 is inserted does not rise compared with the outlet pipe of a shower head installed in a bathroom or the like. Therefore, the water flowing along the water pipe 5 easily drops toward the lower surface of the holder 13 before entering deep inside the outlet pipe 9. The branch pipe 9B has a drain hole 9Bc on the lower surface, and the holder 13 has a notch 23D. Since the seal member 35, the notch 23D, and the drain hole 9Bc are arranged in this order from the side of the branch pipe 9B from which the water pipe 5 is pulled out, even when the water flow is strong, the water entering the holder 13 along the water pipe 5 quickly reaches the inner surface of the branch pipe 9B by the notch 23D and is discharged from the drain hole 9Bc, and the entry into the deep inside of the faucet device 1 beyond the drain hole 9Bc can be reduced.
The notch 23D is provided below the holder 13, and the upper side of the holder 13 abuts against the branch pipe 9B. Since the notch 23D is provided below the holder 13, water flowing through the lower side of the holder 13 by its own weight can be guided from the notch 23D to the inner surface of the branch pipe 9B. Further, since the upper side of the holder 13 abuts on the branch pipe 9B, the upper side of the holder 13 can prevent water from entering.
The holder 13 includes a protrusion 23C fitted into a hole 9Bb formed in the branch pipe 9B, and notches 23D are formed on both sides of the protrusion 23C. Since the notches 23D are formed on both sides of the protrusion 23C, the water flowing to the lower side of the holder 13 can be guided to the notches 23D along the protrusion 23C.
The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and can be modified as follows.
In the above embodiment, the holder 13 is constituted by two parts divided into the upper holder 21 and the lower holder 23, but is not limited thereto. Or may be divided into three or more parts.
In addition, the respective effects can be obtained by appropriately combining any of the above-described embodiments and modifications.
The present invention has been fully described in the preferred embodiments with reference to the accompanying drawings, but various modifications and alterations will be apparent to those skilled in the art. Such variations and modifications are to be understood as included within the scope of the appended claims without departing from the scope of the invention. Further, combinations of elements and changes in the order of the elements in the embodiments can be realized without departing from the scope and spirit of the present invention.
