Description

Cooking utensil
Technical Field
The present invention relates generally to the field of cooking appliances.
Background
In the process of opening the cover body, a plurality of cooking appliances in the current market can generate shaking or instability of the cooker body due to the release of elastic potential energy of a spring at the joint of the cover body and the cooker body, and simultaneously can generate noise. Especially when food is not contained in the pot, the shaking phenomenon is more serious. Moreover, the shaking of the cooker body can cause friction and collision between the inner cooker and the heating plate, so that the inner cooker body and the coating are damaged, and the overall service life of the cooking utensil is reduced. In addition, when soup is contained in the pot, hidden danger exists that users can be scalded after soup splashes. Some cooking appliances employ a silica gel damping block to damp the opening process of the cover. However, when the spring force changes, the damping effect of the silica gel damping block is unstable. In addition, the silica gel damping block is easy to age, and the damping effect cannot be achieved after long-term use and abrasion.
Accordingly, there is a need to provide a cooking appliance to at least partially solve the above-mentioned problems.

It will be apparent, however, to one skilled in the art that embodiments of the invention may be practiced without one or more of these details. In other instances, well-known features have not been described in detail in order to avoid obscuring the embodiments of the invention.
In the following description, a detailed structure will be presented for a thorough understanding of embodiments of the present invention. It will be apparent that embodiments of the invention may be practiced without limitation to the specific details that are set forth by those skilled in the art.
Hereinafter, a cooking appliance according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. It is understood that the cooking appliance according to the present invention may be an electric rice cooker, a food processor, a soymilk machine, an electric stewpot, etc. The cooking appliance according to the present invention may have various functions such as cooking porridge and soup in addition to the function of cooking rice.
As shown in fig. 1, the cooking appliance includes a pot body 1 and a cover body 2. In order to clearly show the structure that acts as a damping, the cover of the cover 2 and most of the pot 1 are omitted in fig. 1. It will be appreciated that the pot 1 as a whole may be generally configured in the shape of a rounded cuboid. An inner pot (not shown) can be arranged in the pot body 1. Specifically, the pot body 1 may have a cylindrical cavity (not shown) therein, into which the inner pot can be freely placed or removed therefrom to facilitate cleaning of the inner pot 111. The upper surface of the inner pot has a circular opening for holding materials to be heated, such as rice, soup, etc., in the inner pot. The pot 1 is typically provided with heating means (not shown) therein for heating the inner pot.
The cover 2 generally comprises a face cover and an inner liner. Wherein, a series of criss-cross reinforcing ribs are arranged on the lining. Therefore, the support has larger strength and can play a supporting role. And components such as temperature, pressure sensing elements, and pressure control elements may be provided on the liner. The lid 2 may be pivotally connected to the pot 1 by a pivot shaft 8 (see fig. 4). And the cover 2 can be covered on the pot body 1 to form a cooking space between the cover 2 and the inner pot.
The cooking appliance further comprises an uncovering aid 7 (see fig. 4). The lid opening aid 7 is connected to the lid body 2, and can apply an elastic force to the lid body 2 to enable the lid body 2 to be elastically opened. As shown in fig. 4, in the present embodiment, the lid opening aid 7 is configured as a torsion spring, which is fitted over the pivot shaft 8. Although one protruding end of the torsion spring is in a free state in fig. 4, it will be understood that, after the cooking appliance is assembled, the two protruding ends of the torsion spring should respectively abut against the pot body 1 and the cover body 2, so that the cover body 2 can be elastically opened and closed. Preferably, the torsion springs may include two torsion springs and be provided at both end portions of the pivot shaft 8, respectively, to enhance the door opening assist function and uniformly stress the cover 2.
With continued reference to fig. 1, the cooking appliance further includes a damper 3 and a connection rotator 4. Wherein, the damper 3 can realize the uniform speed and stable opening and closing of the cover body 2. The connection rotary member 4 is pivotably provided on the pot body 1. The damper 3 is pivotably connected to the cover 2 and the connection rotator 4 by its two opposite ends, respectively.
The damper 3 will be described below.
As shown in fig. 2, the damper 3 includes a damper main body 31 and a damper rod 32, and the damper rod 32 is sleeved in the damper main body 31. And can be axially compressed with respect to the damper main body 31 by an external force, and a damping force opposite to the external force is generated during the compression. As shown in fig. 2, 4 and 5, when the damper 3 is in a natural state (initial state), the damper rod 32 extends substantially entirely out of the damper body 31 and is axially compressible with respect to the damper body 31.
Preferably, the damper main body 31 may be filled with hydraulic oil, and a sealing member (not shown) and an elastic member (not shown) are further provided in the damper main body 31. The damper rod 32 and the elastic member are located on both sides of the sealing member, respectively. Specifically, one end of the damper rod 32 is connected to the seal and is movable together with the seal in the damper main body 31. One end of the elastic member abuts against the end of the damper main body 31, and the other end is connected to the sealing member to enhance the damping and buffering effects.
The damping effect can be achieved by axially compressing the damping rod 32 with respect to the damper body 31. That is, the damping effect of the damper 3 is achieved by a change in the total length thereof. Specifically, when the damper rod 32 is axially compressed, the damper rod 32 moves toward the damper body 31, compressing the seal and the elastic member and compressing the hydraulic oil, thereby generating a damping force. When the external force is withdrawn, the damper can slowly return to the natural state (initial state). If the damper is acted by tensile force in the process of returning to the natural state, the damper can also generate acting force opposite to the tensile force under the action of the elastic piece and hydraulic oil, namely, the damper can also generate damping effect in the stretching process.
With continued reference to fig. 1 and 2, in the present embodiment, the damper 3 is pivotally connected to the cover 2 by a free end of the damper body 31 (i.e., an end remote from the damper lever 32). Specifically, the cooking appliance further includes a fixing base 5 for pivotably connecting the damper 3 with the cover 2. As shown in fig. 2, the fixing base 5 includes a receiving portion 51 and a fixing portion 52. The accommodating portion 51 is generally configured as a U-shaped groove, and through holes are provided in opposite side walls thereof. At the time of assembly, the free end of the damper main body 31 is put between the two side walls of the accommodating portion 51, and the through hole on the damper main body 31 is aligned with the through hole on the side wall of the accommodating portion 51, and then the connection between the damper main body 31 and the fixing base 5 is achieved by passing through the through hole using a connecting member such as a pin or a pivot. Wherein the connection of the fixed damper body 31 may be referred to as a second pivot shaft.
In addition, fixing portions 52 extending laterally outward to form a wing shape are provided at upper edges (i.e., edges away from the bottom wall) of both side walls of the accommodating portion 51. The fixing portion 52 is provided with a through hole. Correspondingly, the cover body 2 is provided with studs 22. The fixing base 5 may be fixed to the cover 2 by being coupled to the stud 22 through the through hole of the fixing portion 52 using a fastener such as a screw. Of course, the screw connection is only a preferred embodiment, and the fixing base 5 may be fixedly connected to the cover 2 by other means, such as a snap fit.
Preferably, as shown in fig. 2, two opposite second limiting walls 21 are also provided on the cover 2. After the fixing base 5 is fixed to the cover 2, the accommodating portion 51 is located between the two second limiting walls 21, and both side walls thereof are respectively abutted against the second limiting walls 21. In other words, the two second limiting walls 21 are respectively located at two sides of the second pivot shaft in the axial direction, so as to limit the second pivot shaft, and avoid the second pivot shaft from coming out to disconnect the damper 3 from the cover 2.
The damper 3 is pivotally connected to the pot 1 by a free end of the damper lever 32 (i.e., the end remote from the damper body 31) and the connecting rotary member 4. As shown in fig. 1, the connection rotator 4 is pivotably provided on the pot body 1, and the free end of the damper lever 32 is pivotably connected to the connection rotator 4. As shown in fig. 3, the connecting rotary member 4 is generally configured in an irregular elongated shape having opposite first and second ends 41 and 42. Wherein a first hole 43 is provided between the first end 41 and the second end 42. The connection rotator 4 is pivotably connected to the pot 1 through a first hole 43.
In the present embodiment, the connection rotator 4 is connected to the pot body 1 through a damping bracket 6. As shown in fig. 3, the damper bracket 6 includes a bracket main body portion 61 and a mounting portion 62. The holder main body portion 61 is configured in a substantially elongated sheet shape. When being fixed to the cooker body 1, the holder main body 61 is attached to the surface of the cooker body 1, resulting in a compact structure. The mounting portion 62 protrudes outward substantially perpendicularly to the holder main body portion 61, and includes two oppositely spaced apart portions. The mounting portion 62 is provided with a through hole. At the time of assembly, the connection rotator 4 is put between the two mounting portions 62, and the first hole 43 is aligned with the through hole on the mounting portion 62 and passed through using a connection member such as a pin or a pivot shaft, thereby achieving pivotable connection of the connection rotator 4 to the damping bracket 6. Wherein the connection member fixedly connecting the rotation member 4 may be referred to as a first pivot shaft.
The damping bracket 6 may be fixed to the pot body 1 by means of a snap fit or using a fixing member such as a screw. Preferably, in the present embodiment, the lower portion of the holder body part 61 is provided with a through hole, and the lower end of the holder body part 61 may be fastened to the pot body 1 in such a manner that a fixing member such as a screw is coupled to the pot body 1 through the through hole. And an upwardly extending projection 63 is provided at the upper end of the holder main body 61. The pot body 1 is provided with positioning holes 12 at corresponding positions. The upper end of the holder main body 61 is limited to the pot 1 by the combination of the protrusion 63 and the positioning hole 12. As shown in fig. 3, it is preferable that the protruding portion 63 and the positioning hole 12 are provided in two, respectively, on both sides of the link rotation member 4 in the first pivot shaft direction. The damping bracket 6 is arranged in such a way that the fixing mode is relatively simple and the operation is easy. And the positioning hole 12 can act as a supporting force during damping.
Preferably, as shown in fig. 3, the pot body 1 is further provided with two opposite first limiting walls 11. After the damping bracket 6 is fixed to the pot body 1, it is located between the two first limiting walls 11, and its two mounting portions 62 are respectively abutted against the first limiting walls 11. In other words, the two first limiting walls 11 are respectively located at two axial sides of the first pivot shaft, so as to limit the first pivot shaft, and avoid the disconnection of the connecting rotating member 4 from the damping bracket 6 caused by the disconnection of the first pivot shaft.
In a state where the damper bracket 6 is fixed to the pot body 1, the connection rotator 4 is in a substantially vertical state. Wherein the second end 42 is located below the first pivot axis and the first end 41 is located above the first pivot axis. And, when the connecting rotary piece 4 pivots around the first pivot shaft to the first end 41 to be close to or support the pot body 1 or the damping support 6 and can not continue to pivot, the connecting rotary piece 4 is located at the first position, and when the connecting rotary piece 4 pivots around the first pivot shaft to the second end 42 to abut against the pot body 1 or the damping support 6 and can not continue to pivot, the connecting rotary piece 4 is located at the second position, and at the moment, the damping support 6 plays a limiting supporting role on the connecting rotary piece 4. As shown in fig. 3, it is preferable that the pot body 1 is provided with a relief groove 13 at a position between the two positioning holes 12 to relieve the connection rotary member 4, so that the structure can be made compact.
The first end 41 of the connecting swivel 4 is pivotally connected to the damper 3. And the first end 41 is spaced from the first pivot axis. Preferably, as shown in fig. 2, the damper rod 32 of the damper 3 is formed with a bent portion 33 at a position of a free end thereof. Accordingly, as shown in fig. 3, the first end 41 of the connection rotator 4 is provided with a second hole 44. The bent portion 33 of the damper rod 32 extends into the second aperture 44 for pivotable connection. Wherein the bending portion 33 corresponds to a pivot axis. Accordingly, the bending portion 33 is disposed parallel to the first pivot axis. It will be appreciated that the attachment swivel 4 should be in the first position when the cover 2 is closed, as shown in fig. 1.
It will be appreciated that the above is one preferred embodiment of the coupling swivel. In other embodiments, the connecting swivel may be configured in other shapes as well, as long as pivoting between the first and second positions is enabled.
The specific operation of the damper 3 will be described in detail.
According to the cooking appliance of the present invention, the opening process of the cover 2 thereof can be divided into two stages. The first stage is the pivoting of the lid 2 about the pivot axis 8 relative to the pot 1 from the condition shown in fig. 1 to the condition shown in fig. 4. The second stage is when the lid 2 is pivoted about the pivot axis 8 relative to the pot 1 from the state shown in fig. 4 to the state shown in fig. 6, at which time the lid 2 can be considered to be in a fully open state. Of course, the state shown in fig. 6 may be represented as an intermediate state rather than a fully open state.
Specifically, as shown in fig. 4 and 5, in the first stage, after the cover 2 is unlocked from the pot 1 (e.g., locked by a hook and a hook plate), the cover 2 is sprung open by the force of the cover opening aid 7 (torsion spring). At this time, the resistance to the relative movement of the damper lever 32 of the damper 3 and the damper main body 31 is larger than the movable resistance of the connection rotator 4, which can be regarded as a substantially rigid member, and the shape is not changed. Therefore, in the first stage, as the cover 2 is gradually opened, the damper lever 32 and the damper main body 31 do not generate relative movement, but only the pivoting of the link rotator 4 from the first position toward the second position, and the pivoting of the damper main body 31 and the cover 2, and the small angle between the damper lever 32 and the link rotator 4, occur. When the link rotator 4 is pivoted to the second position, it cannot continue to pivot. At this time, the first stage of uncovering ends, and the uncovering operation shifts to the second stage. In the first stage, the damper 3 does not exert a damping effect.
In the second phase, as shown in fig. 6 and 7, the connecting rotary member 4 is in the second position and held stationary by the blocking of the second end 42 by the pot 1 or the damping bracket 6, and cannot continue to pivot. At this time, the elastic force of the lid opening aid 7 acts on the damper 3 through the lid body 2, and the damper rod 32 is moved toward the damper body 31 against the damping force between the damper rod 32 and the damper body 31, that is, the damper 3 is compressed. The damper rod 32 moves slowly due to the hydraulic oil and the elastic member inside the damper body 31. The damping force of the damper 3 overcomes the elastic force of a part of the lid opening auxiliary member 7, so that the lid opening speed of the lid body 2 in the second stage is slowly reduced, thereby achieving the effect of gentle lid opening. When the cover 2 is pivoted to the state shown in fig. 6 and 7, it is fully opened, and the damper 3 stops compressing.
Of course, in the second stage, a small angle of pivoting continues to occur between the damper main body 31 and the cover 2, between the damper lever 32 and the connection rotator 4. It can be found that the damper 3 is pivoted in a direction approaching the lid body 2 during the opening process. Therefore, as shown in fig. 5, it is preferable to perform a paste-drawing process at a position (at C shown in fig. 5) of the cover 2 near the damper 3 to reduce the thickness of the cover 2 at the position, avoiding interference with the damper 3.
It will be appreciated that during closing of the cover 2, the damper rod 32 moves in a direction away from the damper body 31, the damper 3 will be stretched and return to its natural length, and the damper 3 will also generate a damping force during stretching. Thus, during closing of the lid 2, as the lid 2 pivots towards the pot 1, the connecting rotary member 4 is first pivoted about the first pivot axis from the second position towards the first position. During this process, the damper 3 may remain compressed, and may also produce a slightly smaller amplitude of tension.
When the connecting rotary member 4 is pivoted to the first position, it remains fixed due to the blocking of the first end 41 by the pot 1 or the damping bracket 6. The damping rod 32 of the damper 3 is subjected to tensile force and is stretched to approximately the original length after the cover 2 is completely covered, so as to be ready for damping in the next cover opening.
According to the cooking utensil, the damper can enable the cover body to form certain buffer in the opening process, so that the opening speed of the cover body can be effectively limited, and uniform and stable cover opening is realized. In addition, in this aspect, the connection rotating member is provided to be connected with the damper, and as the cover is opened, the damper does not function in the process of pivoting the connection rotating member from the first position to the second position, and the damper re-generates the damping function after the connection rotating member is pivoted to the second position. According to the scheme, on one hand, the damper can act on the rear section of the cover opening process which is most prone to the phenomenon of pot jump, the cost is saved, the buffering efficiency is improved, and on the other hand, the fact that the damper has already exerted the damping effect in the state that the cover body is not fully opened or the fact that the damper is designed too long can be avoided, so that the damping effect can be better exerted according to the scheme of the invention, the structure of the cooking utensil is more compact, and the cost can be further saved.
In the above preferred embodiment, the damper main body is provided on the side close to the cover body, that is, the damper main body is connected to the cover body, and the damper lever is connected to the connection rotator. However, it will be appreciated by those skilled in the art that suitable modifications may be made thereto, such as interchange of the positions of the damper body and the damper rod, with the damper rod being provided in connection with the cover and one end of the damper body being connected to the connection rotator. In the preferred embodiment, the damper is connected to the cover through the fixing base, and the connection rotator is connected to the pot through the damping bracket. However, it is understood by those skilled in the art that the damper may be directly connected to the cover and/or the rotary member may be directly connected to the pot without the fixing base and/or the damper bracket.
