本发明公开了一种用于上行载波聚合CA的通信方法和装置。该方法应用于支持上行CA的通信系统,该通信系统包括第一上行载波和第二上行载波,该第一上行载波采用频分双工FDD模式,该第二上行载波采用时分双工TDD模式,该方法包括:该第二上行载波所在的基站确定上行控制信息UCI的配置信息,该配置信息包括资源配置信息,该资源配置信息用于指示传输该UCI的资源,该资源位于TDD模式中的下行子帧和/或特殊子帧;该基站向终端发送该配置信息。本发明实施例的用于上行载波聚合CA的通信方法和装置,能够提高传输效率。
