The livestock ear tag has the advantages that the intelligent ear tag can be conveniently, simply and quickly installed at the designated position of the livestock ear by manpower, the livestock ear is prevented from being damaged, the large-batch livestock installation and management are facilitated, the livestock intelligent ear tag can be installed in the free, sober and unbound state of the livestock, meanwhile, the installation correctness of the intelligent ear tag is detected and confirmed in time, and the continuous monitoring of the temperature of the eardrum of the livestock is realized.
