Abstract
The invention provides a method and a system for verifying PXE function stability of a network card, wherein the method comprises the following steps: s1, configuring a PXE server side and putting a restart script; s2, the host to be tested accesses the network card to be tested and opens the PXE function of the network card to be tested; s3, accessing a network port to be tested of the network card to be tested into a network; s4, setting a first starting item of the host to be tested as starting from the network card to be tested; s5, restarting the host to be tested; s6, judging whether the host to be tested is started from the network card to be tested or not; s7, if yes, starting the host to be tested from the network card to be tested to enter a PXE environment; s8, automatically downloading a restart script from the PXE server side by the network card to be tested; s9, running a restart script by the host to be tested; s10, judging whether the host to be tested is restarted or not; s11, if yes, judging whether the restart frequency of the host to be tested reaches a set threshold value; s12, if not, returning to the step S5.
Description
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the field of server testing, and particularly relates to a method and a system for verifying PXE function stability of a network card.
Background
PXE (Pre _ boot Execution Environment) is a protocol designed by Intel that enables a computer to boot over a network. The protocol is divided into a client side client and a server side server, the PXE client is in the ROM of the network card, and when the computer is booted, the BIOS calls the PXE client into the memory for execution. At present, only PXE function of the network card is involved in the test, namely, each port is provided with one OS. However, the client encounters the problem that the probabilistic network card cannot go into the PXE, so that the client needs to enter the PXE environment for verifying the PXE function of the network card and the stability of the matching of the network card ROM and the BIOS in the test many times, and the current test case is still imperfect.
Therefore, it is very necessary to provide a method and a system for verifying the functional stability of the network card PXE to overcome the above-mentioned drawbacks in the prior art.
Disclosure of Invention
The present invention provides a method and a system for verifying PXE function stability of a network card, aiming at the defect that the client side has a probabilistic network card and cannot go into the PXE, so that the client side needs to enter the PXE environment for verifying PXE function of the network card and the stability of matching between the network card ROM and the BIOS in the test, and the current test case is not complete, so as to solve the technical problem.

s8, automatically downloading a restart script from the PXE server side by the network card to be tested;
s9, running a restart script by the host to be tested;
s10, judging whether the host to be tested is restarted or not;
s11, if yes, judging whether the restart frequency of the host to be tested reaches a set threshold value;
s12, if not, returning to the step S5. In step S1, the restart script is set as the first item for starting the PXE server; in step S8, the program in the network card ROM to be tested automatically downloads the restart script from the PXE server.

the invention realizes the automatic verification of the PXE function of the network card of the host to be tested and the stability of the configuration of the ROM and the BIOS of the network card, perfects the test case, does not need to increase the labor cost and has high test efficiency.

s10, judging whether the host to be tested is restarted or not;
s11, if yes, judging whether the restart frequency of the host to be tested reaches a set threshold value;
s12, if not, returning to the step S5.
2. The method for verifying the functional stability of the network card PXE as claimed in claim 1, wherein before the step S5, the method further includes the following steps:
