Abstract

The invention discloses a control method and a system for instant messaging, wherein the control method comprises the following steps: accessing a first instant messaging component of a client to a customer service component of an applet in instant messaging software; wherein the applet corresponds to the client; and controlling instant messaging in the first instant messaging component of the client side in a chat interface of the instant messaging software. Technical Field

Background
At present, a client of an internet platform is mainly used for realizing functions of selling products by a seller, browsing and purchasing products by a buyer and the like. In the process of browsing or purchasing a product, if a buyer needs to consult a seller for more information about the product, an instant messaging function (customer service consultation service) in client software is generally enabled, i.e., the buyer and the seller have a real-time conversation through a dialog box.
