Abstract
本发明涉及管道施工材料,是一种用于连接由热
可塑性高分子材料制成的管子的电热熔结管接头的
制造方法。该方法在成型工艺上采取将由覆膜线状
发热体绕制成的螺旋线圈套管迅速插入经注塑成型
但尚未完全固化的管接头内,待管接头完全冷却固化
收缩后,即得到内有螺旋线圈的电热熔结管接头的工
艺。本发明较现有技术省时、省工,并可省去复杂的
设备及繁杂的操作,其管接头产品尺寸精度高,强度
大。
Description
本发明涉及管道施工材料,特别是一种用于连接由热可塑性高分子材料制成的管子的电热熔结管接头的制造方法。
为使高分子材料,特别是热可塑性树脂或橡胶制成的管子(管道)、管接头或阀栓等管件能够不产生泄漏地连接起来,以顺利的完成管道施工,因此需要对接头处进行密封处理。对于诸如ABS树脂、聚氯乙烯、聚苯乙烯等有限的高分子材料可以采用现有与之相适应的粘合剂适量地涂敷在连接部位待其固化后则可以起到连接与防漏的作用,但对于聚烯烃纤维、聚酰胺、聚缩醛及含氟树脂(塑料)等许多尚未有相适应的粘合剂的高分子材料制成的管件进行连接时,一般只能采取在连接部使用外热法(用火焰或管状炉)加热,使接头部位软化(或熔化),并趁其尚未冷却时,迅速将其接合在一起,随即冷却固化。但是采用这种外热法要达到均匀加热及保持适度的软化(或熔化)是极为困难,稍有不慎将造成废品,而且防漏效果也未必很好。因而出现了下述的管接头及方法。
例如:日本特愿平1-10689号中公开了一种连接用的套管:即以平行地绕卷成螺旋状而互不接触的电热线,套入成型为中空筒状的热可塑性高分子材料中而制成的连接用套管。但在使用这种套管时,是把套管插入管件的连接部,必须在把管件与管材连接并固定好的情况下,方能同时通电使其融熔,待其冷却固化后达到连接。整个连接过程繁杂而费时。
日本特愿平2-2793号公开了一种把覆膜(外包绝缘层)的电热线圈预先放入管接头内整体成形。或象特愿平2-188821号那样,把覆膜的电热线圈制成套管状,再把该套管与管接头整体注塑成形。
就上述的线圈或者套管以内插入的方式整体成形的工艺方法,不但难度大、成本高,而且成品的尺寸粗度极难保证。
故此,本发明的目的就在于提供一种操作容易、工艺极其简单的,能够用于制造电热熔结管接头的方法,以实现制成品具有尺寸精度高的特点。
本发明用于制造电热熔结管接头的方法的技术解决方案是根据管接头在注塑成形从模具中脱出至完全固化的过程是一个固化收缩的过程,在此过程内将预制好的电热线圈套管装入管接头内,这样就可以利用固化收缩力将其紧固在管接头之内的原理来实现。其具体为:采取以由覆膜线状发热体绕成的螺旋线圈作为套管,将该套管迅速插入经注塑成形但尚未固化的管接头内,待管接头经冷却完全固化收缩后,由覆膜线状发热体构成的套管就被紧固在管接头内,从而得到由套管与管接头形成一体的电热熔结管接头。
本发明技术解决方案的实现,完全节省了现有技术需要配备用于嵌入套管的成形复杂设备,克服了操作复杂的问题,只需以极简单的操作就可制出内装有线状发热体的管接头,而且所得的管接头产品,不但尺寸精度高,而且强度大。
图1表示用于本发明制造管接头的套管的制作方法的侧视图。

图1~图5中所述的:1是覆膜线状发热体,2是发热线(发热体),3是制套管时覆膜线状发热体上的覆膜互相熔结部位,4是用覆膜线性发热体1卷绕成的套管C(S)上的圆环状的套环,4a是能与套环4相嵌合的并处于管接头内的圆环状的环槽,A是管接头,C(S)是由覆膜线状发热体1绕制成的螺旋线圈的套管,M是绕制套管C(S)用的轴芯。
下面结合附图及实施例对本发明作进一步的详述。
实施例1、将覆膜线状发热体1对折成双排列后,于轴芯M上绕制螺旋状套管C(S)。
内装的发热线2是采用一种具有由诸如镍线、碳纤维那样通电即发热的性质的材料制成的线状发热体。覆盖在发热线2外表面上的热可塑性高分子材料的覆膜材料是采用与所要连接的管接头(或管子)的材质属于同基体或亲和性大的材料,具体可以采用:ABS树脂、聚氯乙烯、含氟树脂等。所内藏的发热线2的根数不受限制,一般采用1根或2根。如果单独采用内装1根发热线2的覆膜线状发热体绕制成的螺旋线圈,容易出现两个端头分别处在线圈两端,一端能取出至与之相连接的管子外部,而另一端则难以同样被拉至外部。因此,采用内装有一根发热线2的覆膜线状发热体1时,就应将其对折成双排列(见图1)或采用二根覆膜线状发热体1进行平等绕制成螺旋线圈(此时线圈一端的发热线2为相连接),这样就可以使覆膜线状发热体1的两个端头从同一方向取出。与此相反,如果采用同时内装有两根发热线2的覆膜线状发热体1绕制的螺旋线圈(见图2),只要把处于发热体1一端头的两根发热线2头连接起来,而处于发热体1另一头的两根发热线2头拉至外部即可。但不论采用具有单根或双根发热线2的覆膜线状发热体1都必须根据所用的管子的具体尺寸、形状合理的选择发热体1的尺寸。为使在进行电热至呈软化状态时,不致于使相邻的发热线2相互间发生位移或交叉以至短路,故而应保持有一定的间隙,特别是内装有两根发热线2的覆膜线状发热体1最好采用扁平的。
另外,可对由覆膜线状发热体1绕制成的螺旋状线圈C内的发热线2进行通电,使电热可塑性高分子材料制成的覆膜熔化,至使相邻的线状发热体1相互熔合,即使整个螺旋线圈C熔合形成一个整体的套管。
或采用(见图2和图3)能将作为覆膜的覆盖材料加热至溶点以上(例如聚苯乙作覆膜时约为150℃)的加热器(例如:用于塑料焊接的热风焊、热棒、热刃或热板焊接、脉冲焊、高频焊、超声波焊中的任何一种。但是最好是采用设备少、操作简单的内热式或外热式的热板)与螺旋线圈C的周边方向上至少一个地方相接触热熔形成热熔形成熔结部位3,即得到套管S。其熔结过程为:当热器具与螺旋线圈C的周边方向的外表面相接触,覆膜材料就立即熔化,与该热器具所接触部位3相邻的覆膜材料就会在该部位3互相熔结,当热器具与螺旋线圈C脱离接触,该熔结部位3随即冷却固化,整个螺旋线圈即形成由熔结部位3相连为整体的套管C(S)。此法与上述对发热线2通电熔结形成整体的套管的技术相比,其熔化、冷却的树脂量极少,大大缩短了形成覆膜熔结部位3所需的时间。
实施例2、采用上述方法制成的套管S,可以用于加工成形为直管式的管接头A(见图4)、弯管式的管接头A(见图5),以及T字形弯的管接头、十字形的管接头中的任何一种。管接头A的材质可从上述热可塑性高分子材料中选用。当管接头A成形尚未完全固化时,把预先制成的,并根据管接头A的收缩率确定出与管接头A内径相应的外径的套管S迅速插入管接头A内,随后放置约三天使管接头A完全冷即固化为止。
实施例3、在套管S(见图4和图5)的外圆周上预先制成一环绕套管S外圆周的圆环状的套环4,并在管接头A的内圆周上预先开出一环绕管接头A内圆周壁并与上述套环4可相互嵌合的相对应的环槽4a。这样,当套管S插入管接头A内时,套管S上的套环4即嵌入管接头A上的环槽4a内,经冷却完全固化后,套管S就可以牢固的固定在管接头A内,在使用中不易脱落。
Claims (1)
1、一种包括有:以覆膜线状发热体制套管、套管与管接头整体成形工艺,用于制造电热熔结管接头的方法,其特征在于,其中的套管与管接头整体成形是采用:将由覆膜线状发热体绕制成的螺旋线圈作为套管,并将该套管迅速插入经注塑成形但尚未完全固化的管接头内,待管接头完成冷却固化收缩后,即得到管接头内紧固有螺旋线圈套管的整体成形工艺。
