Description

Learning support device, learning support system, and learning support method
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a learning support device, a learning support system, and a learning support method for supporting learning of a user.
Background
Conventionally, various learning support apparatuses and learning support systems have been developed that support learning by a user, particularly hearing problems (also referred to as listening problems). As such a learning support device, for example, a learning support device configured to be able to set any one of a mode for a simulated language test or the like and a mode for learning is known (for example, see patent document 1 or the like).
The learning support device (learning system) described in patent document 1 is configured such that, in a mode in which a real examination is simulated (a mode in which "a next question is presented after a set time elapses" is selected in initial setting), after a question is presented, if a set time elapses, the next question is presented regardless of whether or not a user inputs an answer. In the learning mode (when "input of a response and then presentation of the next question" are selected in the initial setting), the next question is presented at the time when the user inputs a response to the presented question.
Patent document 1: japanese patent laid-open publication No. 2002-169457
In the hearing questions of part3 and part4 of toiec (registered trademark), a plurality of questions are answered for one question article. That is, first, a sound of a question sentence having a long english language is played, and when the playing of the sound of the question sentence is completed, a sound of the first question related to the question sentence is played next, and after a silent period lasts for 8 seconds, a sound of the next question is played. Since there are a plurality of such question articles, the test taker listens to the question articles, and repeatedly performs the task of answering a plurality of questions associated with the question articles in correspondence with the plurality of question articles, thereby answering all the questions.
In the conventional learning support device and the like, for example, the hearing problems of the above-described type in which a plurality of questions are answered to one question sentence (phrase) such as Part3 or Part4 of the toiec are not considered, and the learning efficiency for such a type of hearing problems cannot be improved.

The configuration, operation, and the like of the learning support system 100 at this time can be described in the same manner as the learning support device 1 described below.
In the following, a case will be described as an example where the learning support apparatus 1 (learning support system 100) performs learning of the hearing problem corresponding to Part3 or Part4 of the TOEIC. That is, in the present embodiment, a case will be described in which the learning support apparatus 1 reproduces sound data representing a question sentence, and causes a user who hears the sound of the question sentence to learn a hearing question in a form in which the user inputs answers to a plurality of questions related to the question sentence.
However, the present invention is applicable not only to such listening learning of english, but also to cases of assisting learning of national languages, learning of other languages, learning corresponding to japanese tests, and the like. That is, the present invention is applicable to a case of assisting learning of a hearing question in a form of answering a plurality of questions (questions) for one speech piece (question article) regardless of the field. Further, in the following, a case where the user selects and answers the question from 4 options, that is, 4 options, is described, but the present invention is not limited to this case.
Hereinafter, the answer of the correct answer in the question is referred to as "answer", and the answer by the user is referred to as "answer". [ Contents Structure ]
Fig. 1 is a block diagram showing an internal configuration of a learning support device according to the present embodiment. The learning support apparatus 1 is configured by connecting a CPU (central processing unit) 11, a display unit 12, an input unit 14, a speaker 15, a storage unit 16, a memory 17, and the like to a bus.
The display unit 12 is configured to include a display 13 and the like formed of a liquid crystal panel and the like, and displays various information on the display 13 according to control from the CPU 11. The display example on the screen of the display 13 is exemplified in the description of the operation of the learning support apparatus 1 described later.
The input unit 14 is configured by a touch panel disposed on the display 13, and when a user touches the touch panel or the like to perform an input operation, transmits position information on the display 13 touched by the user, input content, and the like to the CPU 11. Alternatively, the input unit 14 may be formed of a touch panel, or may be used in combination with the touch panel, and input may be performed by another input unit such as a keyboard, or a cursor may be moved by button operation. In addition, the user may be configured to be able to transmit and input information input by another computer or the like to the learning support apparatus 1, and an appropriate method may be adopted as the input method to the learning support apparatus 1.
The speaker 15 reproduces sound data indicating a question sentence or a question as described later and gives a sound to the user in accordance with the control of the CPU 11. For example, in the example of the hearing problems for parts 3 and 4 of the toiic, the speaker 15 emits sound representing sound data of a question article under the control of the CPU11, and then emits sound representing sound data of each question.
The storage unit 16 is configured by a rom (read Only memory), a ram (random Access memory), and the like, and the storage unit 16 stores a control program 161 (including a program related to the present invention) and the like for controlling the entire learning support apparatus. In the storage unit 16, sound data indicating a question sentence, sound data indicating a plurality of questions related thereto, character data, and the like are stored as question data 162 for each question. Although not shown, the answer status of each question by the user is also converted into data and stored in the storage unit 16 as appropriate.
For example, as described above, in the hearing questions of parts 3 and 4 of the toiic, since a plurality of questions related to one question sentence are presented for one question sentence as described above, one question sentence and a plurality of questions related thereto are hereinafter referred to as "question sets", and in this case, the question data 162 for parts 3 and Part4 of the toiic stores, for example, as shown in fig. 2, at least sound data representing the question sentence, sound data and character data representing each question, and answers and comments corresponding to each question as one set for each question set.
The sound data is stored in the storage unit 16 for each question set so that the sounds representing a plurality of questions are sequentially reproduced after the sound representing one question sentence. As shown in fig. 2, as the question data 162, information of other information (for example, question texts, english or translations of questions, etc.) may be stored for each question set.
The memory 17 is constituted by a cache memory or the like, for example. The question data 162 (i.e., data such as the sound of a question sentence or the sound of each question) transmitted from the storage unit 16 under the control of the CPU11 is temporarily stored and used as appropriate.
The CPU11 controls the operation of the learning aid 1. Specifically, the CPU11 reads out a program such as the control program 161 stored in the storage unit 16, expands the program in the work area of the RAM, and executes various processes in cooperation with the program expanded in the RAM.
[ basic operation of CPU ] As follows
In the learning support apparatus 1 of the present embodiment, the CPU11 reproduces voice data indicating one question sentence (utterance) and a plurality of questions (questions) associated with the question sentence, and causes the user to sequentially input answers to the plurality of questions during reproduction of the voice data. At this time, at least 2 reproduction controls are selectively set among a first reproduction control (hereinafter, referred to as a continuous reproduction mode) in which reproduction is continued without being temporarily stopped after a user inputs a response, a second reproduction control (hereinafter, referred to as a temporary stop mode) in which reproduction is temporarily stopped and then resumed from a temporarily stopped position in response to an input of a response from the user, and a third reproduction control (hereinafter, referred to as a presentation mode) in which reproduction is continued from a changed reproduction position after the reproduction position is changed to the set reproduction position in response to an input of a response from the user.
In the present embodiment, the CPU11 is configured to reproduce the sound representing one question sentence (utterance) and the sound representing each of a plurality of questions (questions) related to the question sentence in the determined order. Furthermore, it is possible to input an answer to a question at an arbitrary timing when a voice representing one question sentence and a voice representing each of a plurality of questions related to the question sentence are sequentially reproduced. The CPU11 controls the reproduction of the audio data in accordance with the reproduction control set in any of the first to third reproduction controls, when an arbitrary timing of the response is input during the reproduction of the audio data.
[ case where the continuous playback mode and the temporary stop mode can be selectively set ]
First, a case where the CPU11 is configured to be able to selectively set the continuous reproduction mode (first reproduction control) and the temporary stop mode (second reproduction control) will be described below.
In the continuous reproduction mode (first reproduction control), as described below, tests of Part3 and Part4 of the toiec are simulated, and the sound of the question article and the sound of the question are continuously reproduced without being temporarily stopped. In the temporary stop mode (second playback control), if there is an operation by the user (i.e., an input operation for an answer) as described later, the sound of the question sentence or the sound of each question is temporarily stopped, and the user can reliably learn.
Further, for example, in a hearing problem such as Part3 of toiec, as described above, a silent time (i.e., a time to reproduce a silent sound) during 8 seconds is set between the playback of sounds of the respective problems. In the learning support apparatus 1 according to the present embodiment, when reproducing sounds of problems in the content of practice such as Part3 for toiic, a silent period is provided between the reproduction of sounds of problems. Therefore, even if the sound of the question article or the sound of each question is continuously reproduced in the continuous reproduction mode, it does not mean that the sound of each question is continuously reproduced in a state without the silent time, and even in the continuous reproduction mode, the silent sound for a period of, for example, 8 seconds is reproduced between the questions.
[ actions ]
The operation of the learning support apparatus 1 will be described below based on flowcharts shown in fig. 3 to 5A and 5B. The following description will be given of the learning support method and the program of the present invention, since the operation of the learning support device 1 described below is performed according to the learning support method and the program of the present invention.
In the present embodiment, the CPU11 of the learning aid 1 causes the display 13 to display the mode selection screen 13A as shown in fig. 6 as an initial screen (step S1). Then, when the user touches and selects, for example, "test" in the modes displayed on the mode selection screen 13A, the CPU11 selects and sets the continuous reproduction mode (first reproduction control), and reproduces, for example, Part1 to Part7 of the TOEIC in the continuous reproduction mode.
When the user touches and selects, for example, "practice by Part" among the modes displayed on the mode selection screen 13A, the CPU11 selects and sets the temporary stop mode (second playback control), displays a Part selection screen 13C (see fig. 10 described later) for selecting a Part to be practiced, and plays back the selected Part in the temporary stop mode, as described later.
In this way, the CPU11 selectively sets which of the temporary stop mode and the continuous reproduction mode the sound is to be reproduced in, based on the mode selection by the user on the mode selection screen 13A.
Although not shown in the drawings, in the present embodiment, when the user touches a button for switching modes displayed on each screen and performs an interrupt operation while each mode is being executed, for example, the CPU11 can display a mode selection screen 13A (or a screen for switching modes) on the display 13 and select a menu on the screen to switch the mode between the temporary stop mode and the continuous playback mode as needed.
[ concerning processing in continuous reproduction mode ]
When the CPU11 selects "test" on the mode selection screen 13A (step S2: test "), each Part of the toiic is reproduced and addressed in the continuous reproduction mode (first reproduction control), and the test of each Part is performed (steps S3 to S4).
In addition, in the present embodiment, when the user selects "test" (step S2: "test"), the CPU11 starts the test in order from Part1, but the user can perform an interrupt operation or the like to set the range of Part or the like of the test. For example, after the user selects "test", a Part selection screen 13C (see fig. 10 described later) or the like may be displayed to set a range of Part to be tested and a range of the question set.
[ operation in continuous playback mode ]
Here, taking a case where the test of Part3 (step S4) is performed as an example, the processing of the CPU11 and the like at this time will be described with reference to a flowchart and the like shown in fig. 4, and each processing performed when the continuous playback mode (first playback control) is set will be specifically described. For the sake of simplifying the explanation, the following explains a case where the user sets the question set "questions 32 to 34" and the question set "questions 35 to 37" as the range of the question set of Part3 to be tested.
The CPU11 first specifies the first question set (in this case, the question set of "questions 32 to 34") in the set range (step S21), and at this time, as shown in fig. 7, displays english for each question of the specified question set and english for each option of answer for each question on the display screen 13B of the display 13 (step S22).
In this way, by displaying the articles (english) of the plurality of questions and the articles (english) of the options for the answers to the questions on the display screen 13B of the display 13, the training can be performed in the same state as the case of receiving the test of Part3 by TOEIC. At the same time, since the language segment (english) of the question sentence is not displayed on the display screen 13B, the user must listen to the question sentence with his or her ear, and thus the user can exercise hearing problems reliably.
When the range of the user's answer is not set (that is, when all the question sets of the Part3 are answered), the options of the questions and answers are displayed in order from the question 1 on the display screen 13. In the present embodiment, as shown in fig. 7, since the problems and all the options cannot be displayed on the display screen 13B, the screen can be scrolled in the vertical direction.
Then, the CPU11 starts reproduction of the question chapter of the specified question set (the question set of "questions 32 to 34" in this case) and the sound of each question while displaying english of each question and english of each option on the display screen 13B, respectively (step S23). In this case, as described above, the CPU11 reproduces the question texts and the sound data of the questions in the continuous reproduction mode, and even if the user selects an option of a response and inputs the response in the reproduction of the sound of the question texts and the sounds of the plurality of questions as described below, the CPU11 can continuously reproduce the sound without temporarily stopping the sound reproduction at that timing.
Further, the CPU11 specifies the first question (in this case, question 32) while displaying the sounds of the questions and options, such as english, the beginning question texts, etc., on the display screen 13B (step S24), and displays icons Iaa of a plurality of options for allowing the user to select and input the answer to the specified question below the display screen 13B as shown in fig. 7 (step S25).
Then, when the user selects the icon Ia of an arbitrary option (step S26: YES referring to FIG. 8), the CPU11 stores the selected option as the answer to the question (step S27). Then, it is determined whether or not all the questions of the specified question set have been answered (step S28), and in this case, since there are still questions (question 33 and question 34) for which no answer has been made (step S28: no), the next question (question 33 in this case) is specified (step S29), and the process returns to step S25.
Therefore, in this case, the display of the icon Ia of the option below the display screen 13B is switched from the display of the icon Ia of the option for question 32 to the display of the icon Ia of the option for question 33 as shown in fig. 9. Then, the CPU11 performs the processes of steps S25 to S28 in the same manner as described above.
In the present embodiment, since the icons Ia of the options are displayed (step S25) at the same time as the reproduction of the sound of the question sentence is started (step S23) in this manner, the user can select the icon Ia of the option and input the answer even before the reproduction of the sound of each question is started. As described above, in the present embodiment, the user can select the icon Ia of the option and input the answer at an arbitrary timing, without having to answer the question during the period when the sound of the question is reproduced or during the subsequent silent period.
In the present embodiment, as described above, when the user selects the icon Ia of the option and inputs the answer (yes in step S26), the CPU11 switches the icon Ia of the option displayed on the display screen 13B to the icon Ia of the option of the next question. In this way, in the continuous reproduction mode (first reproduction control), the CPU11 continues reproduction of the sound data without temporarily stopping after the user inputs the answer. Therefore, the user can continuously answer the questions similarly to the test of Part3 of real toiec, and can perform the exercise corresponding to the real test reliably.
In the present embodiment, when the user does not know the answer to a certain question (for example, question 32 shown in fig. 7) and wants to answer a question of a next question (for example, question 33), the user can switch the icon Ia of the option to the icon Ia of the option for the next question by touching the icon Ib of "skip" (for example, see fig. 9). Although not shown in fig. 7 and the like, for example, when the user touches the "back" icon, the icon Ia of the option can be switched to the icon Ia of the previous question option.
As described above, when all the questions of the specified question set (in this case, the question set of "questions 32 to 34") are answered (yes in step S28), the CPU11 determines whether all the set question sets are answered (step S30). Then, in this case, since the question set of "questions 35 to 37" is also set (NO in step S30) as described above, the CPU11 specifies the question set of the next "questions 35 to 37" (step S31), and performs the respective processing of step S22 to step S30 in the same manner as described above.
In the present embodiment, since the configuration is as described above, there is a possibility that reproduction of the question chapter of the question set of "questions 32 to 34" and the sound of each question may be ended before the user has answered all the questions of the question set of "questions 32 to 34" (yes in step S30), for example.
That is, in the real examination, when the playback of the question sentences and the sounds of the questions in the question set of the "questions 32 to 34" is completed, the playback of the question sentences and the sounds of the questions in the question set of the "questions 35 to 37" next starts regardless of whether the user has finished answering the questions, but in the learning assistance device 1 of the present embodiment, the CPU11 waits for the user to finish answering all the questions in the question set of the "questions 32 to 34", and when all the questions are answered, the playback of the question sentences and the sounds of the questions in the question set of the "questions 35 to 37" next starts.
In the present embodiment, as described above, even when the user selects "test" (see fig. 6), this is a practice for the real examination, and therefore, from the viewpoint that it is important for the user to answer each question, the configuration is as described above, but the configuration may be such that, when the reproduction of the question sentence in the question set of "questions 32 to 34" and the sound of each question is completed, the reproduction of the question sentence in the question set of the next "questions 35 to 37" and the sound of each question is started regardless of whether or not the user has answered each question in the question set of "questions 32 to 34".
If the CPU11 determines that all of the set question sets have been answered (yes in step S30), the process returns to the main flow shown in fig. 3. When the test of each Part is completed, the answer of the user is compared with the answer of the question data 162 stored in the storage unit 16 (see fig. 1) for each question or question of each Part, and a correct answer or an incorrect answer is determined and scored (step S5). In addition, scores are displayed on the display 13 as needed, or correct answers or incorrect answers to each question or question are displayed.
Then, if the predetermined end operation is not performed by the user (no in step S6), the CPU11 returns to the process of displaying the mode selection screen 13A (see fig. 6) on the display 13 (step S1), and if the predetermined end operation is performed (yes in step S6), the processes of the learning assistance apparatus 1 are ended.
[ treatment in temporary stop mode ]
On the other hand, when the user touches and selects "exercise per Part" on the mode selection screen 13A shown in FIG. 6 (step S2: "exercise per Part"), the CPU11 displays a Part selection screen 13C for selecting Part of exercise as shown in FIG. 10 (step S7). Also, when the user selects Part on the Part selection screen 13C (step S8), the CPU11 reproduces the sound data in the temporary stop mode (second reproduction control). Although the user can perform the exercise of the selected Part, the exercise here is not an exercise that matches the actual examination as described above, but learning is performed while answering questions one by one.
Hereinafter, taking as an example the case where Part3 is selected in the selection processing of step S8 (step S8: "Part 3"), and the exercise of Part3 is performed (step S9), the processing and the like of the CPU11 in this case will be described based on the flowcharts and the like shown in fig. 5A and 5B, and each processing performed when the temporary stop mode (second playback control) is selected and set will be specifically described.
For the sake of simplifying the explanation, the following explains a case where the user sets the question set "questions 32 to 34" and the question set "questions 35 to 37" as the range of the question set of the Part3 of the test. In the flowcharts of fig. 5A and 5B, steps for performing the same processing as in the flowchart of fig. 4 are denoted by the same step numbers as in the flowchart of fig. 4.
In the temporary stop mode, the CPU11 performs the same processing as in the case of the above-described continuous reproduction mode from step S21 to step S27. That is, the CPU11 specifies the first question set (in this case, the question set of "questions 32 to 34") in the set range (step S21), and displays english for each question of the specified question set and english for each option of answer for each question on the display screen 13B of the display 13 (step S22. see fig. 7).
Then, the CPU11 simultaneously starts reproduction of the question chapter of the specified question set and the sound of each question (step S23), and specifies the first question (question 32 in this case) (step S24), and displays an icon Ia for an option selected by the user to input an answer to the specified question below the display screen 13B (step S25).
When the user selects the icon Ia of any of the options (yes in step S26, see fig. 8), the CPU11 stores the selected option as the answer to the question (step S27), and in the pause mode, when the user performs an operation of selecting the icon Ia of the option and inputting the answer, the CPU11 pauses the reproduction of the sound of the question sentence or each question at that timing.
As described above, in the continuous reproduction mode, the CPU11 is configured to continue reproduction without temporarily stopping reproduction of a question sentence or a sound of each question and continuously answer each question even if the user selects the icon Ia of the option and inputs an answer. Therefore, the user can surely perform exercises corresponding to the real examination.
In contrast, in the temporary stop mode, as described above, the CPU11 can be configured to temporarily stop the reproduction of the sound of the question sentence or each question at the timing when the user performs the operation of selecting the icon Ia of the option and inputting the answer, and perform various processes while temporarily stopping the reproduction of the sound. Therefore, each process for the user's learning is performed during the period, so that the user's learning effect can be reliably improved.
In the present embodiment, the timing at which the user has performed the operation to input the answer is the time at which the user has selected the icon Ia of the option on the display screen 13B and the operation to input the answer is completed (that is, the time at which the finger touching the icon Ia of the option is off the screen). This is because, while the user is likely to move the finger to select the icon Ia of another option in this state at the stage when the user touches the icon Ia of the option, the answer is not determined, but the option whose answer was selected by the icon Ia of the option touched by the user before the moment when the user moves away from the icon Ia of the option can be determined.
The processing performed by the CPU11 for improving the learning effect of the user at the time when the reproduction of the sound is temporarily stopped may be various modifications (these modifications will be described later). Further, it is possible to configure to perform appropriate processing at that time in accordance with the purpose of learning in the learning support apparatus 1.
In the present embodiment, when temporarily stopping the reproduction of sound (step S41), the CPU11 refers to the answer in the question data 162 (see fig. 2) corresponding to the question answered by the user, determines whether the answer by the user is a correct answer or an incorrect answer, and displays a mark (o or x) indicating the correct answer or the incorrect answer on the display screen 13B as shown in fig. 11 (step S42). Fig. 11 shows a case where the user selects the icon Ia of the option "a" and answers as shown in fig. 8, but the icon Ia is incorrect and the correct answer is "B".
With this configuration, the user can confirm whether the answer is a correct answer or an incorrect answer at the time of answering the question, and can obtain or confirm the content of the question, or immediately verify the content considered when answering the question, or enhance the opportunity of understanding the question or the like. Therefore, the learning effect can be sufficiently improved.
After the reproduction of the sound is temporarily stopped as described above (step S41), the reproduction of the sound may be resumed in response to an operation for resuming the reproduction of the sound instructed by the user without performing the processing from step S42 to step S46 described later. In this case, the reproduction of the audio may be automatically restarted after the lapse of a predetermined time period after the predetermined time period is temporarily stopped without any user operation.
In the present embodiment, after continuing the state shown in fig. 11 for a predetermined time (for example, 1 second) in step S42, the CPU11 makes the display screen 13B transition to a state in which the icon Ic of "comment" or the icon Id of "next step" is displayed as shown in fig. 12, and transitions to a state in which a comment corresponding to a question can be displayed (step S43). Then, when the user performs an operation of touching the icon Ic of "description" and displaying the description (YES in step S44), the answer to the question is read from the question data 162 corresponding to the question to which the user answers, and displayed on the display screen 13B (step S45). In addition, when the user does not answer the question correctly, the state shown in fig. 11 may be directly changed (i.e., without waiting for the user to operate) to the state in which the explanation is displayed.
With this configuration, for example, if the answer is incorrect (or the answer is correct), if the user touches the "comment" icon Ia on the display screen 13B, the comment corresponding to the question can be displayed on the screen, and therefore, the comment can be read, the reason for the incorrect answer or the contents of the question can be checked, the comprehension of the question can be enhanced, and the learning effect can be sufficiently enhanced.
In this way, in the learning assistance device 1 according to the present embodiment, the CPU11 performs different processing in each mode, and for example, when the mode is the temporary stop mode, if the user selects the icon Ia of the option and inputs an answer, the CPU displays the explanation corresponding to the question on the screen of the display 13 or shifts to a state in which the explanation corresponding to the question can be displayed on the screen, and when the mode is the continuous reproduction mode, the CPU does not display the explanation on the screen of the display 13 or shifts to a state in which the explanation can be displayed even if the user selects the icon Ia of the option and inputs an answer.
In addition, with such a different setting, it is possible to perform a practice for a real examination surely in the case of the continuous reproduction mode, and to perform a practice for detailed learning for each question surely in the case of the temporary stop mode.
In the continuous playback mode, the CPU11 switches the icon Ia of the option on the display screen 13B to the icon Ia of the option of the next question (see fig. 8 and 9) at the timing when the user performs the operation of selecting the icon Ia of the option and inputting the answer, but in the case of the pause mode, the CPU11 does not switch the icon Ia of the option to the icon Ia of the option of the next question at the timing even when the user performs the operation of selecting the icon Ia of the option and inputting the answer as shown in fig. 11 and 12. Therefore, the user can spend time observing or considering the explanation, and thus the learning effect can be sufficiently improved.
On the other hand, the user can resume the reproduction of sound by touching the icon Id of "next" on the display screen 13B in the state shown in fig. 12 (step S46). That is, when the user touches the icon Id for "Next" step (step S46: YES), the CPU11 restarts the reproduction of the sound being temporarily stopped (step S47).
At this time, in the temporary stop mode, the CPU11 restarts the sound being temporarily stopped from the position at which it was temporarily stopped. That is, in the temporary stop mode (second reproduction control), the CPU11 temporarily stops the reproduction of the sound data in response to the input of the user's answer, and then resumes the reproduction from the temporarily stopped position.
In the following processing, as in the case of the continuous reproduction mode, the CPU11 determines whether or not all the questions in the specified question set have been answered (step S28), and in this case, since there are questions (question 33 and question 34) that have not yet been answered (step S28; no), specifies the next question (question 33 in this case) (step S29), and switches the display of the icon Ia of the option in the lower part of the display screen 13B from the display of the icon Ia of the option for the previous question 32 to the display of the icon Ia of the option for the question 33 as shown in fig. 9. Then, the CPU11 performs the processes in step S25 and below in the same manner as described above.
Further, if all the questions of the specified question set (in this case, the question set of "questions 32 to 34") are answered (step S28: YES), the CPU11 determines whether or not all the set question sets are answered (step S30: NO), and in this case, since the question set of "questions 35 to 37" is also set (step S30: NO), the CPU11 specifies the question set of the next "question 35 to 37" (step S31), and performs the processing of step S22 or less in the same manner as described above.
When it is determined that all the set question sets have been answered (yes in step S30), the CPU11 returns to the main flow shown in fig. 3. Then, if the user does not perform the predetermined end operation (no in step S6), the process returns to the process of displaying the mode selection screen 13A (see fig. 6) on the display 13 (step S1), and if the predetermined end operation is performed (yes in step S6), the processes of the learning assistance apparatus 1 are ended.
[ settings concerning modes ]
Although the above description has been made of the case where the continuous reproduction mode (first reproduction control) and the pause mode (second reproduction control) are selectively settable, the continuous reproduction mode (first reproduction control) and the presentation mode (third reproduction control) may be selectively settable, the pause mode (second reproduction control) and the presentation mode (third reproduction control) may be selectively settable, or three modes of the continuous reproduction mode (first reproduction control), the pause mode (second reproduction control) and the presentation mode (third reproduction control) may be selectively settable.
[ concerning processing in presentation mode ]
As described above, in the presentation mode (third reproduction control), the CPU11 changes the reproduction position to the set reproduction position in accordance with the input of the user's answer, and continues the reproduction from the changed reproduction position.
For example, in the case of the above-described temporary stop mode (second reproduction control), when the reproduction of the sound being temporarily stopped is restarted, the CPU11 restarts the reproduction of the sound from the temporarily stopped position. That is, for example, as shown in fig. 13A, when the user touches the icon Ia of the option in the middle of reproducing the sound of the question to temporarily stop the sound, the user performs learning related to the question once by reading the explanation or the like as described above, and then touches the icon Id of the "next step" in order to end the learning related to the question and start the next question, the sound is not the sound of the next question, but the reproduction is restarted from a position in the middle of the sound of the question that has already ended the learning once.
In the case of the above-described TOEIC, for example, there is 8 seconds of silent time (i.e., time for reproducing silent sound) after the remaining sound of the problem, and then the next sound of the problem is reproduced. However, in this case, it takes time until the reproduction of the sound of the next question is started, and the user who starts the next question must wait for the time, and there is a possibility that the user feels poor usability.
Therefore, in such a case, it is desirable to change the reproduction position (position at which reproduction is resumed) so that the reproduction of the sound is started from the beginning of the next problem, as shown in fig. 13B, without starting from the position at which reproduction is temporarily stopped.
On the other hand, in the case where the user does not temporarily stop the reproduction of the sound even if the user inputs an answer as in the continuous reproduction mode (first reproduction control), if the user touches the icon Ia of the option in the middle of the reproduction of the sound of the question and makes an answer, the user thereafter hears the remaining part of the sound of the question and the soundless sound, and thereafter starts the reproduction of the sound of the next question.
Therefore, even when the reproduction of the sound is not temporarily stopped at the time when the user answers, the user who wants to advance the next question must wait until the sound of the next question is reproduced, and there is a possibility that the user feels that the convenience of use is poor.
Therefore, in the learning aid device 1 (learning aid system 100 or the like) of the present embodiment, a presentation mode (third reproduction control) is set, that is, whether the reproduction of the sound is temporarily stopped or not when the answer of the user is input as described above, the reproduction position is changed to the set reproduction position (for example, the initial position of the next question as described above), and the reproduction of the sound is continued from the changed reproduction position.
With this configuration, if the user selects the presentation mode (third playback control), when the user continues to play back the audio without temporarily stopping the audio playback, the audio playback is continued so-called presented, for example, from the first position of the next question at the time when the user inputs the answer. When the reproduction of the voice is temporarily stopped, the user inputs a response to temporarily stop the reproduction of the voice, performs learning about the question once by reading the comment or the like as described above, and continues the reproduction of the voice from, for example, the first position of the next question at the time of touching the icon Id of the "next" question.
Therefore, the user who wants to start the next question immediately after answering the question or reading the explanation related thereto can immediately perform the next question by selecting the presentation mode (third reproduction control), and the learning aid device 1 (the learning aid system 100 and the like) is easy to use for the user.
The following description will be specifically made. Since the presentation mode (third reproduction control) is set regardless of whether or not the reproduction of sound is temporarily stopped, it can be set, for example, in the case of the test of Part3 (see fig. 4) or in the case of the practice of Part3 (see fig. 5A and 5B). Although the drawings, flowcharts, and the like are omitted, for example, if the user touches and selects "test" on the mode selection screen 13A shown in fig. 6, it is possible to make the user select whether to perform the continuous reproduction mode (first reproduction control) or the presentation mode (third reproduction control) on the next screen.
In addition, for example, if the user touches and selects "practice on a per Part basis" on the mode selection screen 13A, the user can be made to select whether to perform in the pause mode (second reproduction control) or the presentation mode (third reproduction control) in the next screen.
Then, when the "test" is selected and the continuous reproduction mode (first reproduction control) is selected, the CPU11 reproduces the sound without temporarily stopping (without being presented (cue)) even if there is an input of a response by the user as described above.
When the "test" is selected and the presentation mode (third playback control) is selected, the CPU11 changes the playback position to, for example, the first position of the next question as described above, and selects the icon Ia of the option in the flowchart of the test of Part3 (see fig. 4) (step S26: yes). That is, an answer is input), the next question is designated (step S29), the icons Ia of the plurality of options of the designated question are displayed on the display screen 13B (step S25), and the reproduction of sound is continued from the changed reproduction position, that is, the first position of the next question.
Further, when the "practice per Part" is selected and the pause mode (second reproduction control) is selected, the CPU11 restarts the sound being paused from the position where it was paused (see fig. 13A) when the user touches the icon Id of the "next step" on the display screen 13B (step S46) and restarts the reproduction of the sound in the flowchart of the practice of Part3 (see fig. 5A and 5B).
When "practice for each Part" is selected and presentation mode (third reproduction control) is selected, the CPU11 restarts and continues the reproduction of sound from the changed reproduction position, that is, the first position of the next question when, for example, the reproduction position is changed to the first position of the next question and the reproduction of sound being temporarily stopped is restarted (step S47).
Further, if the above-described presentation mode (third playback control) is executed when the user inputs an answer while a question sentence is being played back instead of each question, and the presentation mode is presented such that the playback position is changed to the first position of the first question, the user cannot hear the content necessary for the answer of each question although the content may be included in the remaining part of the question sentence, and therefore, in a state in which the presentation mode (third playback control) is set, it is preferable that the playback position is not changed when the user inputs an answer while the question sentence is being played back. That is, it is preferable that the reproduction position be changed when the user inputs a response while the sound of the question is being reproduced instead of the question sentence.
[ Effect ]
As described above, according to the learning support apparatus 1 (learning support system 100, learning support method, and program) of the present embodiment, the CPU11 is configured to be able to reproduce audio data representing one sentence (question sentence) and a plurality of questions (questions) related to the sentence, and to sequentially input answers to the plurality of questions during reproduction of the audio data. The playback control apparatus is configured to be capable of selectively setting at least two of a first playback control (continuous playback mode) in which playback is continued without being temporarily stopped after the input of a response, a second playback control (temporary stop mode) in which playback is temporarily stopped in response to the input of a response and then playback from a position at which playback was temporarily stopped is resumed, and a third playback control in which playback is changed to the set playback position in response to the input of a response and playback is continued from the changed playback position.
Therefore, if the user selects the first playback control (continuous playback mode), the user can practice in the same state as a real test such as the toiic because the user continuously plays back the audio without temporarily stopping the audio playback of the text (question text) or question (question) at the timing when the user selects the icon Ia of a certain option. Therefore, according to the learning support device 1 and the like of the present embodiment, the user can effectively perform exercises corresponding to the real examination in the continuous reproduction mode.
Further, if the user selects the second playback control (pause mode), it is possible to confirm whether or not the answer is correct, to read the comment, to verify the contents to be considered when answering the question (question), or the like while the playback of the voice is paused, and to enhance the understanding of the sentence (question sentence) or the question (question). Therefore, according to the learning support device 1 and the like of the present embodiment, the learning effect of the user can be surely improved.
Further, if the user selects the third reproduction control (cue mode), it is possible to reproduce the sound from, for example, the initial position of the next question when the reproduction of the sound is restarted and continued. Therefore, the learning support apparatus 1 and the like can immediately perform the next question (question) without listening to the remaining part of the sound of the question (question) reproduced at the time when the user inputs the answer or without listening to a silent sound, and is convenient for the user.
Further, in the learning support device 1 and the like according to the present embodiment, since the user can selectively set which of the first to third reproduction controls the sound is to be reproduced in accordance with the setting, by appropriately selecting and setting the reproduction control method in accordance with the purpose of learning (whether to perform a practice corresponding to a real examination, perform a careful learning practice for each sentence (question sentence) or each question (question), or want to immediately proceed to the next question (question)), it is possible to reliably perform a practice corresponding to the purpose of learning, and it is possible to more reliably improve the learning effect.
In addition, in the embodiment, the processing of the "test of Part 3" (step S4 of the main flow (refer to fig. 3)) and the processing of the "exercise of Part 3" (step S9) are explained based on different flowcharts (refer to fig. 4 and 5A and 5B). However, as described above, the difference between the two flowcharts is only whether or not the respective processing of steps S41 to S47 in the flowcharts of fig. 5A and 5B is performed.
Therefore, as shown in fig. 14A and 14B, for example, the processing of determining whether the mode is the continuous playback mode (first playback control) is added after the processing of step S27 (step S48), and if not (step S48: no), that is, if the mode is the pause mode (second playback control) or the presentation mode (third playback control), the processing of steps S41 to S47 is performed, and if the mode is the continuous playback mode (first playback control) (step S48: yes), the processing of steps S41 to S47 is skipped, so that the flowcharts of fig. 4, 5A, and 5B can be integrated into one flowchart.
On the other hand, as described above, when the temporary stop mode (second reproduction control) is set or when the presentation mode (third reproduction control) is set when the sound is temporarily stopped, the processing for the user to improve the learning effect by the CPU11 at the timing when the reproduction of the sound is temporarily stopped may be variously changed. For example, as described above, when the user has not answered correctly, instead of causing the screen to transition to the state shown in fig. 12, the screen can be automatically transitioned to the screen on which the comment is displayed without waiting for the user's operation.
For example, in the above-described embodiment, when the correct answer or the incorrect answer is determined and displayed at the time when the reproduction of the sound is temporarily stopped (step S42), in the example shown in fig. 11 or the like, x is given to the icon Ia of the option selected by the user, and o is given to the icon Ia of the option of the correct answer to indicate the correct answer. However, in the case of an incorrect answer, the user may be configured to reproduce the sound of the wrong question again without showing the correct answer, and to answer the question again.
For example, the exercise of the question set may be repeated until all questions in one question set are correctly solved. In this case, after the audio reproduction of the last question is ended, the audio reproduction of the question documents of the same question group may be started again from the beginning.
As described above, in the present invention, it is possible to add a process that can improve the user learning effect as described above, and it is possible to appropriately perform such an improvement.
In the case of Part3 and Part4 of the TOEIC, a plurality of questions (questions) are set for one article (question article) as described above, but in the case of Part1 or Part2 of the TOEIC, one question is answered in association with one article. In the learning assistance device 1 and the like according to the present embodiment, as shown in fig. 3 and the like, a test or a practice such as Part1 can be performed.
Therefore, in the present embodiment, in addition to a question set (see fig. 2. hereinafter, this type of question set is referred to as a first type of question set) for answering a plurality of questions in association with one sentence, a second type of question set (not shown) for answering one question in association with one sentence is stored as the question data 162 in the storage unit 16 (see fig. 1) of the learning assistance apparatus 1 or the like. In addition, other forms of problem sets may be stored according to various learning contents.
As described above, in the first form of the problem set, the storage unit 16 stores the sound data so that the sound representing a plurality of problems is sequentially reproduced for each of the problem sets, and in the second form of the problem set, the sound data is stored so that the sound representing one question is sequentially reproduced for each of the problem sets.
As described above, when a question set of questions from among the plurality of question sets stored in the storage unit 16 is designated, the CPU11 executes the reproduction of sound in accordance with any one of the first reproduction control (continuous reproduction mode), the second reproduction control (temporary stop mode), and the third reproduction control (presentation mode) which is selected and set when the question set of the first format is designated.
In addition, even when the question set of the second form is specified, the first playback control (continuous playback mode), that is, the playback control for continuing playback of the question set to the end of one sentence or one question without temporarily stopping playback of audio data after the user inputs a response, may be selectively set. If this first reproduction control is selected, it is possible to practice in the same state as in a real test when a test such as Part1 or Part2 of the toiic is performed in the learning assistance apparatus 1 or the like.
However, in the question set of the second form, as described above, since only one question (question) is associated with one sentence and there is no next question (question), even if the reproduction of the audio data is temporarily stopped after the user answers the input as in the second reproduction control (temporary stop mode) described above, and the reproduction is resumed after the user answers, the reproduction of the audio of only the remaining part of the question (question) is meaningless. In the problem set of the second form, even if the third playback control (presentation mode) is desired, for example, there is no next problem (question), and therefore presentation is not possible, and it is meaningless.
Therefore, the CPU11 can execute playback control in which any one of the first playback control (continuous playback mode) and the fourth playback control for ending playback of sound data in response to input of a user's answer is selected for the second-format question set, that is, the second-format question set for answering a question in association with a single sentence. That is, in the fourth playback control, playback of the audio data is stopped at the point in time when the user inputs the answer, but the playback is terminated without resuming playback thereafter.
In this case, the CPU11 also determines whether the answer input by the user is a correct answer or an incorrect answer, displays a mark indicating a correct answer or an incorrect answer on the screen (see fig. 11), displays an icon of "comment" on the screen, and shifts to a state in which a comment corresponding to the question can be displayed (see fig. 12).
With this configuration, the user can select and set any one of the first to third playback controls when performing a test or a practice of, for example, Part3 or Part4 of the toaeic in the learning support apparatus 1 or the like, and can select and set any one of the first playback control and the fourth playback control when performing a test or a practice of, for example, Part1 or Part2 of the toaeic. Further, if the user selects the first reproduction control, it is possible to effectively perform a practice corresponding to a real test, and if the second to fourth reproduction controls are selected, it is possible to confirm whether or not the answer is a correct answer, to read a comment, to check the content to be considered when answering the question, or the like while the reproduction of the sound is temporarily stopped (or ended), thereby making it possible to enhance the understanding of the question and the question. Therefore, the learning effect of the user can be accurately improved.
In the above-described embodiment, the control unit that performs various controls is configured such that a CPU (general-purpose processor) executes a program stored in a ROM (memory), but may be configured such that each of a plurality of controls is divided into dedicated processors. In this case, each dedicated processor may be configured by a general-purpose processor (electronic circuit) capable of executing an arbitrary program and a memory in which a control program dedicated to each control is stored, or may be configured by a dedicated electronic circuit dedicated to each control.
In addition, the structure of the keyboard musical instrument required to produce the various effects described above is not limited to the above-described structure, and may have, for example, the following structure.
