The invention provides a storage battery state indicator which comprises an indicator transparent column and a mounting sleeve sleeved on the indicator transparent column, wherein an inner rubber ring propped against the indicator transparent column is arranged on the upper part of the inner side wall of the mounting sleeve. The battery status indicator, also known as an electric eye, can display different colors by detecting the specific gravity of the battery electrolyte so that a user can initially determine the operating status of the battery.
Conventional battery status indicators generally include an indicator transparent column and a mounting sleeve fitted over the indicator transparent column, the indicator transparent column is mounted on a battery case by the mounting sleeve, a sealing structure is generally required between the indicator transparent column and the mounting sleeve in order to prevent leakage of electrolyte from a gap between the indicator transparent column and the mounting sleeve, and at the same time, in order to avoid liquid accumulation in the gap between the indicator transparent column and the mounting sleeve, the sealing structure is generally disposed at a side relatively close to an electrolyte storage chamber in a connection position between the indicator transparent column and the mounting sleeve, however, when the battery status indicator is mounted on the battery case, water washing and the like are generally performed on the case, water may infiltrate into the gap between the indicator transparent column and the mounting sleeve from outside of the battery case, and when in use, in an environment where solar irradiation or a relatively high temperature is performed, water in the gap between the indicator transparent column and the mounting sleeve may volatilize and adhere to the indicator transparent column, resulting in erroneous judgment of the sealed status of the battery by a user.
In view of this, the present applicant has conducted intensive studies on the structure of a battery state indicator, and has produced the present invention.
