引言
本公开涉及对机动车辆传动系的密封,并且更具体地,涉及在机动车辆的轴和恒速接头的界面处进行密封。
机动车辆利用驱动轴,通过分配旋转能将来自例如内燃机或分动箱输出轴的旋转能传递至差速器或其他部件。驱动轴通常包括恒速接头,其在不会明显增加摩擦或游隙的情况下,允许旋转能通过可变角度在恒定转速下在接头上传递。为了减少重量并改善平衡,许多驱动轴连接被转移到插塞式连接,其中恒速接头内座圈装配到其将要连接至的输入轴或输出轴的花键杆上。尽管完整的已组装封装件由于消除了常规连接中存在的紧固件而节省了体积并且得到了更小的封装,但是在组装和拆卸时仍然需要额外的间隙以允许内座圈“插塞”到花键杆上。相应地,希望能提供一种恒速接头界面,其相对于机动车辆的相邻部件具有增大的间隙。
发明内容
在一个示范性实施例中,轴组件包括第一轴、第二轴以及固定至第二轴的恒速接头。恒速接头包括固定至第二轴的外罐以及至少部分位于外罐袋中的内座圈。第一轴联接至内座圈。轴组件进一步包括密封组件,密封组件包括外保护罩,外保护罩具有固定至第一轴的外保护罩第一端和固定至外罐的外保护罩第二端。

将外保护罩第二端84固定至外罐44而不是如现有技术构造中固定至内座圈,允许内座圈56轴向更短,这是因为为了将保护罩固定至内座圈需要内座圈的轴向长度。利用轴向更短的内座圈56,通过恒速接头40输出轴38相对于驱动轴22的组装和/或拆卸可以更容易地实现与变速器18或其他部件的紧密接近。

固定至所述外罐的外保护罩第二端。

第一轴花键;以及
与所述第一轴花键接合的内座圈花键。
3.根据权利要求1所述的轴组件,所述密封组件进一步包括内保护罩,所述内保护罩包括:
固定至所述外罐的内保护罩第一端;以及
固定至所述内座圈的内保护罩第二端。
4.根据权利要求3所述的轴组件,其中所述内保护罩被配置为将所述外罐密封到所述内座圈以防止润滑剂从由所述外罐的所述外罐袋和所述内保护罩所限定的润滑体积泄露。
