Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a tool container for storing a tool used for cutting a plate-shaped workpiece.
Background
In electronic devices such as mobile phones and personal computers, device chips each including a device such as an electronic circuit are essential components. The device chip is obtained by dividing the front surface of a wafer made of a semiconductor material such as silicon into a plurality of lines to divide (streets) to form devices in each region, and then dividing the wafer along the lines to divide.
When a wafer is divided into a plurality of device chips, for example, a cutting apparatus in which an annular cutter (cutting tool) is attached to a rotating shaft (spindle) is used. After the tool is rotated at a high speed, the workpiece can be cut into a plurality of device chips by deeply cutting along the planned dividing line of the workpiece.
As one embodiment of the cutter, a washer-type cutter is known which is formed only by a cutting edge to which abrasive grains are fixed by a bonding material. Many of the washer-type cutters are thin cutters having a thickness of 100 μm or less. Therefore, the tools are stored in the tool container to prevent damage during transportation or the like (see, for example, patent document 1).
Patent document 1: japanese laid-open patent publication No. 2006-82817
Further, the tool container described above includes, for example: a housing section having a housing area (recess) for housing a tool; and a cover for closing the housing area, wherein the housing area is closed by the cover in a state where the cutter is housed in the housing area. In this cutter container, the lid portion is fixed to the housing portion by a tape or the like.
When the cutter is taken out of the cutter container, the cover portion is normally opened with the storage portion positioned downward. Since the cutter is accommodated in the accommodation region of the accommodation portion, the cutter does not fall off the cutter container and is not damaged even if the cutter container is tilted in a state where the cover portion is opened.
However, the storage unit may be opened with the lid portion positioned downward by mistake. In this case, the tool cannot be held by the housing area of the housing portion, and therefore, for example, when the tool container is tilted, the tool may fall off the tool container and be damaged.
Disclosure of Invention
The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and an object thereof is to provide a tool container capable of holding a tool by a lid even when the storage portion side is opened with the lid located downward.
According to one aspect of the present invention, there is provided a tool container for storing a washer-type tool, the tool container including: a housing section having a bottom plate; a lid portion having a top plate; and a hinge portion connecting the housing portion and the cover portion so as to be openable and closable, wherein a circular recess having a diameter larger than an outer periphery of the tool is provided in the bottom plate, the tool can be housed, and a protrusion is provided in the top plate, and the protrusion contacts the bottom plate at a position outside the recess in a state where the cover portion is closed with respect to the housing portion.
In one aspect of the present invention, it is preferable that a relief hole for suppressing an electrostatic force acting between the cutter and the bottom plate or between the cutter and the top plate when the lid is opened with respect to the housing or when the housing is opened with respect to the lid is provided in a region of the bottom of the recess provided in the bottom plate or the top plate inside the protrusion.
In the tool container according to one aspect of the present invention, a circular recess having a diameter larger than the outer periphery of the tool and capable of accommodating the tool is provided in the bottom plate constituting the accommodating portion, and a projection is provided in the top plate constituting the lid portion, and the projection contacts the bottom plate at a position outside the recess in a state where the lid portion is closed with respect to the accommodating portion. Therefore, even when the storage portion is opened with the lid portion positioned downward, the tool can be held by the projection.

Detailed Description
An embodiment of one embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. Fig. 1 is a perspective view schematically showing a configuration example of a tool container 2 according to the present embodiment. The tool container 2 is configured to be able to accommodate a so-called washer-type tool (washer tool) 11 formed only by a cutting edge, and the tool container 2 includes an accommodating portion 4 and a lid portion 6.
The cutter 11 housed in the cutter container 2 is formed in a ring shape having an opening 11a at the center, in which abrasive grains such as diamond are fixed by a bonding material such as metal or resin, for example. The thickness of the cutter 11 is typically about 0.1mm to 0.3mm, and the outer diameter (diameter of the outer periphery) of the cutter 11 is typically about 54mm to 58 mm. However, the material, size (diameter, thickness), manufacturing method, and the like of the cutter 11 are not particularly limited.
The housing portion 4 and the lid portion 6 are coupled to each other by a hinge portion 8. The materials and the like of the housing portion 4, the lid portion 6, and the hinge portion 8 are not particularly limited, and in the present embodiment, the housing portion 4, the lid portion 6, and the hinge portion 8 are integrally formed using a resin such as polypropylene. The housing section 4 has a bottom plate 10, and a recess 12 having a substantially circular shape in plan view is provided on one surface 10a side of the bottom plate 10. The recess 12 serves as a storage area for storing the tool 11. Thus, the diameter of the recess 12 is larger than the outer diameter of the cutter 11.
A cylindrical protrusion 14 protruding from the bottom surface of the recess 12 is provided at the center of the recess 12. The diameter of the outer periphery 14a of the convex portion 14 is smaller than the inner diameter of the cutter 11 (the diameter of the opening 11 a). Further, a plurality of holes (escape holes) 16 are formed in the bottom surface of the concave portion 12 so as to surround the convex portion 14.
By providing the hole 16 on the bottom surface of the recess 12 in this way, the electrostatic force acting between the base plate 10 and the cutter 11 can be weakened. That is, the tool 11 housed in the tool container 2 can be easily operated. In addition, the tools 11 housed in the tool container 2 are easily visible. In the present embodiment, the holes 16 that are substantially circular in plan view and do not penetrate the bottom plate 10 are provided, but the shape, arrangement, size, number, and the like of the holes 16 are not particularly limited. Further, an outward claw portion 18 is provided on the base plate 10 at a position opposite to the hinge portion 8.
The lid portion 6 has a top plate 20. A side wall 22 is provided on the outer periphery of the top plate 20 on the one surface 20a side. Further, a substantially annular projection 24 is provided on the surface 20a side of the top plate 20 and on the inner side of the side wall 22 in plan view. The inner diameter of the convex portion 24 is larger than the diameter of the concave portion 12.
A concave portion 26 having a circular shape in plan view is provided at the center of the region surrounded by the convex portion 24 of the surface 20 a. The diameter of the recess 26 is slightly larger than the diameter of the outer periphery 14a of the protrusion 14. This enables the convex portion 14 to be inserted into the concave portion 26. In addition, a plurality of holes (escape holes) 28 are formed in the region surrounded by the convex portion 24 of the surface 20a so as to surround the concave portion 26.
By providing the hole 28 in the region surrounded by the convex portion 24 of the surface 20a in this way, the electrostatic force acting between the top plate 20 and the tool 11 can be weakened. That is, the tool 11 housed in the tool container 2 can be easily operated. In addition, the tools 11 housed in the tool container 2 are easily visible.
In the present embodiment, the holes 28 having a substantially circular shape in plan view are provided without penetrating the top plate 20, but the shape, arrangement, size, number, and the like of the holes 28 are not particularly limited. Further, an inward claw portion 30 is provided on the inner side of the side wall 22 on the opposite side of the hinge portion 8.
In the tool container 2 configured as described above, the lid 6 is closed by rotating about the hinge 8 as a fulcrum, thereby closing the recess 12 in which the tool 11 is housed. In this state, when the claw portion 18 is engaged with the claw portion 30, the closed state in which the lid portion 6 is closed can be maintained. On the other hand, in the open state in which the lid 6 is opened, the recess 12 is also opened. In the closed state in which the lid 6 is closed with respect to the housing 4, the convex portion 24 contacts the surface 10a of the bottom plate 10 at a position outside the concave portion 12.
Next, an example of use of the tool container 2 according to the present embodiment will be described. Fig. 2 (a) is a sectional view schematically showing a state in which the tool 11 is placed on the side of the housing portion 4, fig. 2 (B) is a sectional view schematically showing a state in which the tool 11 is housed in the tool container 2, and fig. 2 (C) is a sectional view schematically showing a state in which the tool 11 is placed on the side of the cover portion 6.
When the tool 11 is to be stored in the tool container 2, the tool 11 is disposed in the recess 12 of the storage portion 4, for example, as shown in fig. 2 (a). That is, the tool 11 is placed on the bottom surface of the recess 12. Further, a cushion material or the like may be disposed in the recess 12. This can more reliably prevent the tool 11 from being damaged.
After the tool 11 is placed on the housing portion 4 side, the lid portion 6 is closed and the claw portion 18 is engaged with the claw portion 30 as shown in fig. 2 (B). Thereby, the tool 11 is accommodated in the tool container 2. When the lid 6 is closed with the tool 11 disposed in the recess 12 of the housing 4, a space is created between the region of the lid 6 surrounded by the projection 24 and the tool 11.
Since the external force is less likely to be transmitted to the tool 11 due to this space, the tool 11 can be prevented from being damaged. Further, a cushion material or the like may be disposed in advance in the region surrounded by the convex portion 24 of the lid portion 6 so as to fill the space. This can more reliably prevent the tool 11 from being damaged.
When the tool 11 is to be removed from the tool container 2, for example, a state is assumed in which the housing portion 4 side is opened with the lid portion 6 positioned downward. In this case, as shown in fig. 2 (C), the cutter 11 is placed on the cover 6 side. In the present embodiment, since the convex portion 24 is provided on the lid portion 6, the tool 11 can be held by the convex portion 24 even if the tool container 2 is tilted. Thereby, the tool 11 does not fall off the tool container 2.
In the present embodiment, since the hole 28 is provided in the surface 20a on which the tool 11 is placed, electrostatic force (attraction force) acting between the top plate 20 and the tool 11 due to opening and closing of the tool container 2 can be reduced. This makes it easy to remove the cutter 11 from the cover 6. Similarly, since the hole 16 is also provided on the side of the housing 4, even when the cover 6 is opened with the housing 4 positioned downward, the electrostatic force (attraction) acting between the base plate 10 and the cutter 11 can be weakened, and the cutter 11 can be easily taken out from the housing 4.
As described above, the tool container 2 of the present embodiment is provided with the circular concave portion 12 having a diameter larger than the outer periphery of the tool 11 and capable of storing the tool 11 in the bottom plate 10 constituting the storage portion 4, and the convex portion 24 contacting the bottom plate 10 at a position outside the concave portion 12 in a state where the cover portion 6 is closed with respect to the storage portion 4 is provided in the top plate 20 constituting the cover portion 6. Therefore, even when the housing portion 4 side is opened with the lid portion 6 positioned downward, the tool 11 can be held by the projection 24.
The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and can be implemented with various modifications. For example, in the above embodiment, the annular convex portion 24 is provided on the lid portion 6, but the shape, arrangement, number, and the like of the convex portion are not particularly limited. For example, the tool 11 may be held by disposing a plurality of projections in a ring shape.
In the above-described embodiment, the plurality of holes (escape holes) 16 and 28 are provided in both the housing section 4 and the lid section 6, but for example, one or more holes may be provided in only one of the housing section 4 and the lid section 6. Of course, such holes may not be provided.
In addition, the structures, methods, and the like of the above-described embodiments and modifications may be appropriately modified without departing from the scope of the object of the present invention.
