Abstract
The embodiment of the invention provides a content recommendation method. The method comprises the following steps: displaying an interest selection module on a page of an application program of a client, wherein the interest selection module comprises a plurality of interest tags; detecting an operation on each interest tag of the interest selection module; and recommending the content based on the detection result. The interest selection module is displayed on the content display page of the application program, so that interest selection is provided for the user, the user can not be blocked from watching the content, the completion rate of the user on the interest selection is improved, the recommendation result is optimized, and better experience is brought to the user. Furthermore, the embodiment of the invention provides a content recommendation device.
Description
Technical Field
The embodiment of the invention relates to the field of multimedia, in particular to a content recommendation method and device.
Background
This section is intended to provide a background or context to the embodiments of the invention that are recited in the claims. The description herein is not admitted to be prior art by inclusion in this section.
After the user newly installs the application software, the application software does not acquire the user behavior data, so that cold start is easily caused, and the content preferred by the user cannot be accurately recommended. When some application software is used by a user, the interest options are displayed in a page form, so that the user can select and operate, and the user is blocked from watching contents. In addition, the user easily skips the interest selection page directly, and abandons the selection of the interest option, and thus favorite content cannot be recommended to the user.
Disclosure of Invention
In this context, embodiments of the present invention are intended to provide a content recommendation method and apparatus.
In a first aspect of embodiments of the present invention, there is provided a content recommendation method including:
displaying an interest selection module on a page of an application program of a client, wherein the interest selection module comprises a plurality of interest tags;
detecting an operation on each interest tag of the interest selection module;
and recommending the content based on the detection result.
In a second aspect of embodiments of the present invention, there is provided a content recommendation apparatus including:
the system comprises a first display module, a second display module and a display module, wherein the first display module is used for displaying an interest selection module on a page of an application program of a client, and the interest selection module comprises a plurality of interest tags;
the detection module is used for detecting the operation of each interest tag of the interest selection module;
and the content recommending module is used for recommending the content based on the detection result.
In a third aspect of embodiments of the present invention, there is provided a computer-readable medium having stored thereon a computer program, the program being executed by a processor to perform the steps of implementing the content recommendation method described above.
In a fourth aspect of embodiments of the present invention, there is provided a computing device comprising: a memory, a processor and a computer program stored on the memory and executable on the processor, the processor implementing the steps of the content recommendation method when executing the program.
According to the content recommendation method and device provided by the embodiment of the invention, the problem that the interest content cannot be recommended to the user during cold start can be solved, meanwhile, the completion rate of interest selection of the user can be improved, the recommendation result is optimized, and better experience is brought to the user.

Detailed Description
The principles and spirit of the present invention will be described with reference to a number of exemplary embodiments. It is understood that these embodiments are given solely for the purpose of enabling those skilled in the art to better understand and to practice the invention, and are not intended to limit the scope of the invention in any way. Rather, these embodiments are provided so that this disclosure will be thorough and complete, and will fully convey the scope of the disclosure to those skilled in the art.
As will be appreciated by one skilled in the art, embodiments of the present invention may be embodied as a system, apparatus, device, method, or computer program product. Accordingly, the present disclosure may be embodied in the form of: entirely hardware, entirely software (including firmware, resident software, micro-code, etc.), or a combination of hardware and software.
According to the embodiment of the invention, a method and a device for recommending content are provided.
In this document, any number of elements in the drawings is by way of example and not by way of limitation, and any nomenclature is used solely for differentiation and not by way of limitation.
The principles and spirit of the present invention are explained in detail below with reference to several representative embodiments of the invention.
Summary of The Invention
The inventor finds that some application software can display an interest selection page firstly when a user uses the application software for the first time, namely, an interest option is displayed in a page form, so that the user can select the interest option, and the user is blocked from watching content. In addition, since it is easy for the user to directly skip the interest selection page and give up the selection, favorite contents cannot be recommended to the user.
In view of this, the present invention provides a content recommendation method and device, which provide interest selection for a user by displaying an interest selection module on a content display page of an application program, so that the user does not block the user from viewing content, the completion rate of interest selection by the user is increased, and a recommendation result is optimized.
Having described the general principles of the invention, various non-limiting embodiments of the invention are described in detail below.
Exemplary method
As shown in fig. 1, a content recommendation method according to an embodiment of the present invention may include the following steps:
s11, displaying an interest selection module on the page of the application program of the client, wherein the interest selection module comprises a plurality of interest tags.
The client of the embodiment may include various electronic devices, such as a computer, a smart phone, a tablet computer, a game console, and the like. The pages of the client's application may include pages of a browser, pages of a player, pages of a news-type application, and so on. In one example, the interest selection module may be displayed on a home page of an application of the client.
There are various ways in which the interest selection module may be displayed on the page. For example, as shown in FIG. 2, the interest selection module is displayed in other areas above the content area of the page. Alternatively, the interest selection module is displayed semi-transparently in a floating layer on top of the content area.
The interest selection module may include a plurality of selectable interest tags, such as "make up," "movie," "sports," "fashion," "skin care," and the like (see FIG. 2). The interest tag may include text (see fig. 2), an icon or a picture, etc. In addition, a partial interest tag may be displayed on the page first. If the operation of displaying more interest tags is detected, such as gesture operation of sliding a screen and the like, the more interest tags are displayed on the page for the user to select.

The operation of the user on each interest tag includes, but is not limited to, a click operation on the interest tag. In one possible implementation, if an operation on the interest tag is detected, the display state of the interest tag may be controlled to be changed. For example, as shown in FIG. 2, after the user clicks on the "sports" interest tab, the color of the outer frame of the "sports" interest tab changes.
And S13, recommending the content based on the detection result.
For example, the detection results may include which interest tags were selected by the user. Furthermore, based on the detection result, the user can be recommended with contents, and contents which are possibly interested by the user can be better recommended to the user.
According to the method, the interest selection module is displayed on the page of the application program of the client, so that the phenomenon that the user watches the content can be prevented from being blocked, the completion rate of the user on the interest selection can be improved, the recommendation result is optimized, and better experience is brought to the user.
As shown in fig. 3, on the basis of the above embodiment, in the content recommendation method according to another embodiment of the present invention, the displaying interest selection module on the page of the application program of the client may include:

And S32, if the client application program is started for the first time, displaying an interest selection module on the home page of the client application program.
In order to improve user experience, after an application program is newly installed on a client, detecting whether the application program is started by a user for the first time; if the user is detected to start the application program for the first time, an interest selection module is displayed on a home page of the application program. When the user refreshes the page, the interest selection module can be controlled to disappear from the page.
In one possible implementation, the interest selection module may include a selection results control. For example, as shown in FIG. 2, a selection results control of "determine" is displayed in the upper right corner of the interest selection module.
In a possible implementation manner, as shown in fig. 4, the content recommendation method of this embodiment may further include:
s41, if the selection operation of any interest label is not detected, keeping the selection result control in the inoperable state on the page.
After the interest selection module is displayed on the page, if the user does not select any interest tag, the selection result control of the interest selection module is kept in an inoperable state on the page. For example, if the user does not select any of the interest tabs, the selection result control of the interest selection module is displayed in gray and inoperable (see the gray "OK" button in the left interest selection module of FIG. 2).
In one possible implementation, the interest selection module is always displayed on the page if no refresh page is detected, or no deletion of the interest selection module is detected, or no determination of the selection result control by the user is detected.
In one possible implementation, as shown in fig. 5, the operation of detecting interest tags of the interest selection module may include:
s51, if the selection operation of at least one interest label is detected, setting the weight of the selected interest label as a first recommendation weight.
For example, if the user performs a selection operation on the interest tag but does not perform a determination operation on the selection result control, the interest tag selected by the user is recorded, and the weight of the interest tag is set as the first recommendation weight.
S52, if the selection operation of at least one interest label is detected and the determination operation of the selection result control is detected, marking the selected interest label as a second recommendation weight, wherein the first recommendation weight is smaller than the second recommendation weight.
For example, as shown in fig. 2, if the user performs a selection operation on the interest tag "sports" and performs a determination operation on the selection result control "determination", the interest tag "sports" is marked as the second recommendation weight.
If the user selects a tag but does not click on confirmation, it may indicate that the user may be interested in the tag, but is hesitant. If the user selects a tag and clicks on the confirmation, it may indicate that the user's interest in the tag is more certain. Therefore, the weights may be set separately for these two cases, and the first recommendation weight may be smaller than the second recommendation weight. For example, the first recommendation weight is 0.5 and the second recommendation weight is 1.0.
In a possible implementation manner, if the selection operation of at least one interest tag is detected but the determination operation of the selection result control is not detected, the page is not automatically refreshed, and after the operation of refreshing the page is detected, content recommendation is carried out based on the selected interest tag.
In one possible implementation, if the determination operation on the selection result control is detected, the page is automatically refreshed, and the recommended content based on the selected interest tag is displayed on the refreshed page.
By adopting the method of the embodiment, the interest selection module is displayed on the content display page of the application program, so that the interest selection is provided for the user, the user can not be blocked from watching the content, and the completion rate of the user on the interest selection is improved; and according to the operation completion degree of the user on the interest selection module, recommending the contents with different interest weights, further optimizing the recommendation result and bringing better experience to the user.
Exemplary Medium
Having described the method of the exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the medium of the exemplary embodiment of the present invention will be described next with reference to fig. 6.
In some possible embodiments, aspects of the present invention may also be implemented as a computer-readable medium on which a program is stored, the program, when executed by a processor, being for implementing the steps in the content recommendation method according to various exemplary embodiments of the present invention described in the above section "exemplary method" of this specification.
Specifically, the processor, when executing the program, is configured to implement the following steps:
displaying an interest selection module on a page of an application program of a client, wherein the interest selection module comprises a plurality of interest tags;
detecting an operation on each interest tag of the interest selection module;
and recommending the content based on the detection result.
In one possible embodiment, the method for displaying interest selection on a page of an application program of a client includes:
detecting whether a client application program is started for the first time;
and if the client application program is started for the first time, displaying an interest selection module on a home page of the client application program.
In a possible implementation manner, the interest selection module further includes a selection result control, and the content recommendation method of this embodiment may further include:
if no selection operation on any of the interest tags is detected, the selection result control is kept in an inoperable state on the page.
In one possible implementation, the interest selection module includes a selection result control, and the detecting operation on each interest tag of the interest selection module includes:
if the selection operation of at least one interest tag is detected, setting the weight of the selected interest tag as a first recommendation weight;
if the selection operation on at least one interest label is detected and the determination operation on the selection result control is detected, marking the selected interest label as a second recommendation weight, wherein the first recommendation weight is smaller than the second recommendation weight.
In one possible implementation, the content recommendation based on the detection result includes:
and recommending the content according to the weight corresponding to each interest tag.
In a possible implementation manner, the content recommendation method of this embodiment may further include:
and if the determination operation on the selection result control is detected, refreshing the page, and displaying the recommended content based on the recommended content of the selected interest tag on the refreshed page.
It should be noted that: the above-mentioned medium may be a readable signal medium or a readable storage medium. The readable storage medium may be, for example but not limited to: an electrical, magnetic, optical, electromagnetic, infrared, or semiconductor system, apparatus, or device, or any combination thereof. More specific examples (a non-exhaustive list) of the readable storage medium include: an electrical connection having one or more wires, a portable disk, a hard disk, a Random Access Memory (RAM), a read-only memory (ROM), an erasable programmable read-only memory (EPROM or flash memory), an optical fiber, a portable compact disc read-only memory (CD-ROM), an optical storage device, a magnetic storage device, or any suitable combination of the foregoing.
As shown in fig. 6, a medium 60, which may employ a portable compact disc read only memory (CD-ROM) and include a program and may be run on a device, according to an embodiment of the present invention is described. However, the invention is not limited in this respect, and in this document, a readable storage medium may be any tangible medium that can contain, or store a program for use by or in connection with an instruction execution system, apparatus, or device.
A readable signal medium may include a propagated data signal with readable program code embodied therein, for example, in baseband or as part of a carrier wave. Such a propagated data signal may take a variety of forms, including, but not limited to: an electromagnetic signal, an optical signal, or any suitable combination of the foregoing. A readable signal medium may also be any readable medium that is not a readable storage medium and that can communicate, propagate, or transport a program for use by or in connection with an instruction execution system, apparatus, or device.
Program code for carrying out operations for aspects of the present invention may be written in any combination of one or more programming languages, including an object oriented programming language such as Java, C + + or the like and conventional procedural programming languages, such as the "C" programming language or similar programming languages. The program code may execute entirely on the user computing device, partly on a remote computing device, or entirely on the remote computing device or server. In the case of a remote computing device, the remote computing device may be connected to the user computing device through any kind of network, including a Local Area Network (LAN) or a Wide Area Network (WAN).

a first display module 71, configured to display an interest selection module on a page of an application program of a client, where the interest selection module includes a plurality of interest tags;
a detection module 72 for detecting operation of each interest tag of the interest selection module;
and a content recommending module 73, configured to recommend content based on the detection result.
In a possible implementation, the first display module 71 may further be configured to:
detecting whether a client application program is started for the first time;
and if the client application program is started for the first time, displaying an interest selection module on a home page of the client application program.
In one possible implementation, the interest selection module further includes a selection result control, and the content recommendation apparatus further includes:
a second display module 74, configured to keep the selection result control in an inoperable state on the page if a selection operation on any of the interest tags is not detected.
In a possible implementation, the interest selection module includes a selection result control, and the detection module 72 is further configured to:
if the selection operation of at least one interest tag is detected, setting the weight of the selected interest tag as a first recommendation weight;
if the selection operation on at least one interest label is detected and the determination operation on the selection result control is detected, marking the selected interest label as a second recommendation weight, wherein the first recommendation weight is smaller than the second recommendation weight.
In one possible implementation, the content recommendation module 73 is further configured to:
and recommending the content according to the weight corresponding to each interest tag.
In a possible implementation manner, the content recommendation apparatus of this embodiment may further include:
and a refresh display module 75, configured to refresh the page if the determination operation on the selection result control is detected, and display, on the refreshed page, content recommended based on the selected interest tag.
Exemplary computing device
Having described the method, medium, and apparatus of exemplary embodiments of the present invention, a computing device of exemplary embodiments of the present invention is described next with reference to FIG. 8.
As will be appreciated by one skilled in the art, aspects of the present invention may be embodied as a system, method or program product. Thus, various aspects of the invention may be embodied in the form of: an entirely hardware embodiment, an entirely software embodiment (including firmware, microcode, etc.) or an embodiment combining hardware and software aspects that may all generally be referred to herein as a "circuit," module "or" system.
In some possible implementations, a computing device according to an embodiment of the invention may include at least one processing unit, and at least one memory unit. Wherein the storage unit stores program code which, when executed by the processing unit, causes the processing unit to perform the steps in the content recommendation method according to various exemplary embodiments of the present invention described in the above section "exemplary method" of the present specification.
A computing device 80 according to this embodiment of the invention is described below with reference to fig. 8. The computing device 80 shown in FIG. 8 is only one example and should not be taken to limit the scope of use and functionality of embodiments of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 8, computing device 80 is embodied in the form of a general purpose computing device. Components of computing device 80 may include, but are not limited to: the at least one processing unit 801 and the at least one memory unit 802, and a bus 803 connecting the various system components (including the processing unit 801 and the memory unit 802).
The bus 803 includes a data bus, a control bus, and an address bus.
The storage unit 802 may include readable media in the form of volatile memory, such as Random Access Memory (RAM)8021 and/or cache memory 8022, and may further include readable media in the form of non-volatile memory, such as Read Only Memory (ROM) 8023.
It should be noted that although in the above detailed description several units/modules or sub-units/sub-modules of the content recommendation device are mentioned, such a division is merely exemplary and not mandatory. Indeed, the features and functionality of two or more of the units/modules described above may be embodied in one unit/module according to embodiments of the invention. Conversely, the features and functions of one unit/module described above may be further divided into embodiments by a plurality of units/modules.
Moreover, while the operations of the method of the invention are depicted in the drawings in a particular order, this does not require or imply that the operations must be performed in this particular order, or that all of the illustrated operations must be performed, to achieve desirable results. Additionally or alternatively, certain steps may be omitted, multiple steps combined into one step execution, and/or one step broken down into multiple step executions.
While the spirit and principles of the invention have been described with reference to several particular embodiments, it is to be understood that the invention is not limited to the disclosed embodiments, nor is the division of aspects, which is for convenience only as the features in such aspects may not be combined to benefit. Claims (10)
1. A content recommendation method, comprising:
displaying an interest selection module on a content display page of an application program of a client, wherein the interest selection module comprises a plurality of interest tags;
detecting an operation on each interest tag of the interest selection module;
recommending content based on the detection result;
the interest selection module comprises a selection result control, detects the operation of each interest label of the interest selection module, and comprises the following steps: if the selection operation of at least one interest tag is detected, setting the weight of the selected interest tag as a first recommendation weight; if the selection operation on at least one interest label is detected and the determination operation on the selection result control is detected, marking the selected interest label as a second recommendation weight, wherein the first recommendation weight is smaller than the second recommendation weight;
and recommending content based on the detection result, wherein the content recommendation comprises the following steps: and recommending the content according to the weight corresponding to each interest tag.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein displaying the interest selection module on a content display page of the application program of the client comprises:
detecting whether a client application program is started for the first time;
and if the client application program is started for the first time, displaying an interest selection module on a home page of the client application program.
3. The method of claim 1, further comprising:
if no selection operation of any of the interest tags is detected, the selection result control is kept in an inoperable state on the content display page.
4. The method of claim 1, further comprising:
and if the determination operation on the selection result control is detected, refreshing the page, and displaying the recommended content based on the recommended content of the selected interest tag on the refreshed page.
5. A content recommendation apparatus characterized by comprising:
a first display module for displaying an interest selection module on a content display page of an application program of a client, the interest selection module including a plurality of interest tags;
the detection module is used for detecting the operation of each interest tag of the interest selection module;
the content recommending module is used for recommending content based on the detection result;
the interest selection module includes a selection result control, and the detection module is further configured to: if the selection operation of at least one interest tag is detected, setting the weight of the selected interest tag as a first recommendation weight; if the selection operation on at least one interest label is detected and the determination operation on the selection result control is detected, marking the selected interest label as a second recommendation weight, wherein the first recommendation weight is smaller than the second recommendation weight;
the content recommendation module is further to: and recommending the content according to the weight corresponding to each interest tag.
6. The apparatus of claim 5, wherein the first display module is further configured to:
detecting whether a client application program is started for the first time;
and if the client application program is started for the first time, displaying an interest selection module on a home page of the client application program.
7. The apparatus of claim 5, wherein the content recommendation apparatus further comprises:
and the second display module is used for keeping the selection result control in an inoperable state on the content display page if the selection operation of any interest tag is not detected.
8. The apparatus of claim 5, wherein the content recommendation apparatus further comprises:
and the refreshing display module is used for refreshing the page if the determination operation on the selection result control is detected, and displaying the recommended content based on the selected interest tag on the refreshed page.
9. A computer-readable medium, on which a computer program is stored which is executed by a processor for carrying out the steps of the method of any one of claims 1 to 4.
10. A computing device comprising a memory, a processor and a computer program stored on the memory and executable on the processor, the processor implementing the steps of the method of any one of claims 1 to 4 when executing the program.
