这些已知胶囊通常包括外部主体部分,该部分通过将塑料材料诸如EVOH、聚丙烯或聚乙烯的热成形或深度拉延为单个层而形成。胶囊中界定配料室的上膜和下膜可由铝形成。因此,包围配料室的壁对氧气和湿气提供一定阻隔性,可确保配料具有合适的架藏期。
通过热成形或深度拉延制成的此类胶囊的缺点在于材料成本相对较高,以及针对所得胶囊的设计方案相当有限。因此,通过其它制造方法能获得的能克服现有技术的这些缺点的胶囊广受欢迎。
除热成形和深度拉延之外,已知通过模内贴标制备的胶囊,其中在模具内提供具有阻隔性的预成形标签,并且其中围绕该标签注塑形成至少一层塑料材料来形成胶囊的主体部分。然而,这些胶囊的缺点在于,由于在制造过程期间关于标签在模具中的定位的常见不准确性,胶囊外部主体部分中的某些区域并未完全被模内标签覆盖,因此在外部阻隔中存在氧气和湿气渗漏。
还已知通过共注塑模制工艺制成的胶囊,其中至少两层塑料材料被共注入到模具中,并且其中优选地至少一层对氧气和湿气具有增强的阻隔性。
美国专利No.9,221,204 B2涉及此类共注塑模制工艺以及涉及由其制成的用于制备饮料的胶囊。该胶囊包括具有由外表层包围的内阻隔层的共注塑主体部分。阻隔层延伸至胶囊的底部部分,其中形成有饮料流出孔。可在底部部分的该孔中布置用于打开胶囊下薄箔的独立穿刺元件。
尽管此胶囊可由于一体的内阻隔层而对氧气和湿气提供增强的阻隔性,但阻隔层延伸至底部部分导致制造成本增加,因为阻隔层材料相对于外表材料而言更贵。此外,在胶囊底部部分提供独立的穿刺元件需要相当复杂的制造工艺。
鉴于所提到的现有技术,本发明试图提供一种增强的胶囊,该胶囊包括基于胶囊的开口装置,从而允许胶囊在使用时可被打开,并且使得胶囊能够以降低的成本实现特别便利的制造工艺。同时,需要对氧气和湿气具有最佳阻隔性。
通过独立权利要求解决这一目的。从属权利要求限定本发明的进一步优选实施方案。
发明内容
本发明涉及一种设计用于食物或饮料制备的胶囊,该胶囊包括杯形基部主体、顶壁以及用于保持食物或饮料制备配料的底部保持壁,其中基部主体由一个注塑模制单件制成,其中基部主体的侧壁包括至少一个共注塑多层区段,共注塑多层区段具有两个由不同于芯层的聚合材料制成的外层,其中基部主体还包括底部结构,底部结构与侧壁一体模制并且包括开口装置,从而允许胶囊在使用时可被打开。
由于具有开口装置的底部结构与胶囊基部主体的侧壁一体形成,因此根据本发明的胶囊可以在特别便利且成本有效的制造工艺中形成。由此,与现有技术胶囊中的单层材料相比,基部主体的共注塑多层区段提供增强的阻隔性。由于胶囊包括自己的开口装置,这进一步实现了:在按顺序制备不同饮料时,向胶囊提供液体之后,可溶解和/或提取不同的食物或饮料配料,且不影响口味,也没有交叉污染的风险。
胶囊的顶壁、底部保持壁和基部主体部分的侧壁的共注塑多层区段优选地形成界定用于保持食物或饮料配料的封闭室。顶壁、底部保持壁和侧壁的共注塑多层区段优选地相对于彼此布置以在其界面处彼此重叠。由此,术语“重叠”涉及直接相邻实体(即,彼此接触的实体)的重叠。应当理解,封闭室可包括布置在胶囊的上述部分内的另外部件或元件,这些另外部件或元件可用于将封闭室划分成多个子区域或者将食物或饮料配料正确保持在封闭室内的适当位置。
开口装置优选地位于用于保持食物或饮料配料的胶囊封闭室的外部。作为优选,开口装置位于底部保持壁下方以及/或者至少部分地与底部保持壁接触。
通过开口装置与胶囊底部保持壁的相对接合来实现胶囊的打开。优选地在提供给胶囊的流体压力升高的作用下进行开口装置与保持壁的相对接合。具体地讲,将流体分别注入胶囊到其封闭室之后,在抵靠开口装置的压力升高的作用下,底部保持壁移动。
开口装置优选为适于刺穿底部保持壁的成型区段。开口装置可包括至少一个穿刺元件或多个穿刺元件。成型区段和穿孔装置分别可具有任何可能的形状,例如尖端、叶片、刀、针、锥形突起、棱锥形突起等。
开口装置和底部保持壁优选地以这样的方式相对于彼此限定和布置,使得打开在预定压力范围内发生,优选地在对应于最佳提取压力的给定压力下发生。提取压力可从4巴变化至8巴,优选地为约6巴。最佳压力可能根据待提取的物质而变化。
在一个优选实施方案中,具有两个由不同于芯层的聚合材料制成的外层的共注塑多层区段延伸贯穿基部主体的一个或多个完整侧壁。基部主体侧壁优选为一体成形的环形壁。侧壁可为圆柱形,或者在截面侧视图中可具有截头圆锥体形状。
底部结构的开口装置优选地由单层材料制成。所述单层材料与胶囊侧壁的多层区段一起共注塑。在另一个优选实施方案中,整个底部结构或另选地底部结构的50%以上、优选地75%以上、甚至更优选地90%以上可由单层材料形成。单层材料优选对应于如用于侧壁多层区段的两个外层的材料。因此,与共注塑多层区段基本上延伸贯穿整个胶囊的胶囊相比,该胶囊的材料成本可降低。
包括多层区段和单层材料区段的胶囊基部主体的此类优选实施方案可通过如下方式获得:只在主体的某个区域(例如,呈现所制成的胶囊主体的侧壁的区域)内的两个外层之间进行芯层的共注塑,而对于胶囊主体的其余部分,在模具中将共注塑的外层接合在一起以呈现单层材料区段。因此,不包括多层布置结构的一体成形胶囊基部主体的部分优选地由对应于用于多层区段外层的材料的单层材料制成。
共注塑多层区段优选地从基部主体的侧壁延伸至底部结构的外部部分以与底部保持壁至少部分地重叠(如顶视图所示)。由此,术语“重叠”涉及直接相邻实体(即,彼此接触的实体)的重叠。因此,胶囊在侧壁与底部保持壁的界面处的阻隔性得到增强。
底部护壁可通过焊接或通过粘合剂连接到底部结构和/或连接到胶囊侧壁。底部保持壁优选地与其外环形部分在底部结构的外部部分处连接。
在一个特别优选的实施方案中,共注塑多层区段优选地终止于底部保持壁与底部结构之间的接触区域中,即,底部保持壁连接到底部结构的区域中。
底部结构的外部部分优选地包括由共注塑多层材料制成的区段和由单层材料制成的区段。
底部结构的外部部分可为位于开口装置的径向外部的基本上平坦或水平布置的环形肩部。外部部分可由环盘形元件形成,并且可包括可彼此平行布置在肩部的相对两侧上的上表面和下表面。胶囊的底部保持壁优选地连接到肩部的上环形表面。
胶囊的杯形基部主体优选地配备有一体成形的凸缘状边缘。凸缘状边缘优选地从基部主体侧壁的顶部径向向外延伸。
顶壁优选地通过焊接或通过粘合剂连接到凸缘状边缘和/或连接到胶囊侧壁。顶壁优选地与其环形外部在凸缘状边缘处连接。
在一个优选实施方案中,共注塑多层区段从基部主体侧壁延伸至凸缘状边缘以与胶囊顶壁至少部分地重叠(如顶视图所示)。由此,术语“重叠”涉及直接相邻实体(即,彼此接触的实体)的重叠。因此,胶囊在侧壁与顶壁的界面处的阻隔性得到增强。
共注塑多层区段优选地终止于顶壁与凸缘状边缘之间的接触区域中,即,顶壁连接到凸缘状边缘的区域中。
多层区段的外层材料优选地选自PVDC、PP、PE、PA或PLA的聚合物组。外层的厚度优选地为介于5微米和50微米之间、更优选地介于10微米和30微米之间。
基部主体的多层区段的芯层优选地由气体阻隔型聚合物诸如EVOH、PVOH、PP或PET制成。与多层区段的外层相比,芯层优选地对氧气具有增强的阻隔性。在多层区段的两个外层内,芯层优选地具有基本上一致的厚度。芯层的厚度优选地为介于0.1微米和50微米之间、更优选地介于0.3微米和20微米之间。
底部保持壁和/或顶壁优选地为能够被刺穿的薄膜或膜。保持壁和/或顶壁的厚度优选地为介于10微米和300微米之间。
顶壁和底部保持壁由对氧气和湿气具有阻隔性的材料诸如EVOH或铝制成。在一个优选实施方案中,顶壁和底部保持壁的材料选自由铝、铝/塑料复合材料、铝/塑料/纸复合材料、单层或多层塑料以及多层阻隔塑料构成的组。
在底部保持壁的下方或上方,可将过滤器布置在胶囊内,过滤器可用于在饮料制备过程中抑制食物或饮料配料。过滤器的材料可选自由滤纸、织造纤维和非织造纤维构成的组。纤维可由PET(聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯)、PP(聚丙烯)或其它聚合物制成。
一体的底部结构优选地在其中心部分设置有至少一个开口。底部结构也可包括多个开口。开口优选地用于使所得饮料能够流出胶囊。
可将开口装置优选地从其突出的底部结构的上表面设计成用于收集所得的饮料以及用于朝底部结构的出口开口引导所述饮料。
在一个优选实施方案中,胶囊主体的一体的底部结构在底部结构的中间环形部分中设置有一个或多个优选为圆柱形的肋,其布置在底部结构的中心部分与外部部分之间。可将优选为圆柱形的肋布置成从底部结构向下突出,即,朝胶囊外部突出。
开口装置优选地布置在底部结构的中间环形部分中,在其外部部分的径向内部布置。
底部结构的外部部分在其中心部分和中间部分的径向外部布置,并且优选地设置有非成型区段。
作为优选,胶囊在一体的底部结构的外部没有底切区段。
根据本发明的胶囊主体优选地能通过从胶囊凸缘状边缘的侧部共注塑模制至少两种聚合材料而获得。分别由于提供连接到所用注塑模具的环形浇口,并且与从胶囊底部部分的侧部注塑胶囊的已知共注塑模制制造工艺不同,因此可以获得这种胶囊。
作为替代,胶囊主体可分别通过从胶囊底部和出口的侧部共注塑胶囊主体材料而形成。
根据本发明的胶囊优选地为旋转对称,即沿其垂直轴对称,特别是相对于胶囊侧壁和胶囊边缘。胶囊的一体的底部结构优选地围绕胶囊的垂直轴不是旋转对称。由此,具体地讲,一体的底部结构的开口装置优选围绕胶囊的垂直轴以非对称布置方式设置。因此,底部结构的开口装置可以任何所需的图案布置,而胶囊可利用上述便利的制造工艺来生产。
胶囊中提供的食物或饮料配料优选地选自由以下各项构成的组:烘焙研磨咖啡、茶、速溶咖啡、烘焙研磨咖啡与速溶咖啡的混合物、糖浆浓缩物、水果提取浓缩物、巧克力产品、奶基产品或任何其它脱水可食用物质,诸如脱水原料。待用于进行饮料制备的液体优选地为任意温度的水。

具体实施方式
现在参照图1和图2描述根据本发明的胶囊的优选实施方案。
胶囊10包括由注塑模制单件制成的优选旋转对称的杯形基部主体1。基部主体1能通过至少两种不同聚合材料的共注塑模制工艺获得。胶囊10还包括顶壁2和连接到胶囊基部主体1的底部保持壁3。顶壁2和保持壁3优选地对氧气和湿气具有阻隔性。
基部主体1包括环形侧壁4,以侧视图观察时,该侧面优选地具有截头圆锥体形状。基部主体1还包括底部结构6,底部结构6与侧壁4一体模制并且包括在使用胶囊时允许打开胶囊的开口装置7。开口装置7优选地通过单注塑模制工艺与底部结构4和侧壁6一体形成。
基部主体1的底部结构6优选地包括:中心部分6a,其中设置有至少一个出口开口13;中间环形部分6b,其中布置有开口装置7;以及外环形部分6c,其优选地为非成型区段。在中间环形部分6b中,可布置一个或多个优选为圆柱形的肋14,其优选地朝胶囊外部突出。
底部保持壁3连接到环形接触区域9a中底部结构6的外环形部分6c的上表面3a。顶壁2连接到环形接触区域9b中凸缘状边缘11的上表面2a。底部保持壁3和顶壁2可通过焊接或粘合剂连接到胶囊基部主体1。底部保持壁3、顶壁2和基部主体1优选地以气密密封方式连接。
基部主体1的侧壁4包括至少一个共注塑多层区段5,该区段具有两个由不同于芯层5b的聚合物材料制成的外层5a。至少芯层5b优选地对氧气和湿气具有增强的阻隔性。共注塑多层区段5优选地延伸贯穿基部主体1的整个侧壁4。基部主体1的不是以所述多层布置方式形成的其余部分优选地由单层材料形成。由此,单层材料优选地对应于用于多层区段5的外层5a的材料。
共注塑多层区段5、顶壁2和底部保持壁3相对于彼此布置,以形成用于在其中保持食物或饮料配料的封闭室8。封闭室8优选地为气密封闭,以便提供最佳阻隔性来防止氧气和湿气侵入室8中。共注塑多层区段5、顶壁2和底部保持壁3优选地分别在其接触区域的界面处重叠。
共注塑多层区段5优选地从侧壁4延伸至底部结构的外环形部分6c中以与连接到外环形部分6c的上表面3a的底部保持壁3重叠。由此,共注塑多层区段5优选地终止于底部保持壁3与底部结构6的外环形部分6c之间的接触区域9a中,即,在底部保持壁3连接到外环形部分6c的区域9a中。共注塑多层区段5也可延伸超过区域9a,即,更靠近底部结构的中心,接近分配区域13。
底部结构6的外部部分6c优选地包括由共注塑多层材料12a制成的区段和由单层材料12b制成的区段。因此,外环形部分6c可呈现介于单层材料区段与基部主体多层区段之间的界面。底部结构6的外部部分6c优选地为基本上平坦或水平布置的环形肩部。
共注塑多层区段5优选地也从基部主体的侧壁4延伸至凸缘状边缘11以与胶囊的顶壁2至少部分地重叠。由此,共注塑多层区段5终止于顶壁2与凸缘状边缘11之间的接触区域9b中,即,顶壁2连接到凸缘状边缘11的区域中。因此,芯层5b优选地不延伸贯穿胶囊基部主体1的外表面。
在本发明的一个实施方案中,底部结构(6)的开口装置(7)还包括至少一个共注塑多层区段(5),该区段具有两个由与芯层(5b)不同的聚合材料制成的外层(5a)。
多层区段5的外层5a的材料优选地选自PVDC、PP、PE、PA、PLA的聚合物组。外层的厚度优选地为介于5微米和50微米之间、更优选地介于10微米和30微米之间。
多层区段5的芯层5b优选地由气体阻隔型聚合物诸如EVOH、PVOH、PP或PET制成。与多层区段的外层5a相比,芯层5b优选地具有增强的氧气阻隔性。芯层5b的厚度优选为介于0.1微米和50微米之间、更优选地介于0.3微米和20微米之间。湿气阻隔可通过外层的材料(例如,聚丙烯或包装领域已知的其它合适的湿气阻隔聚合物)实现。
底部保持壁3和/或顶壁2优选地为能够被刺穿的薄膜或膜。保持壁3和/或顶壁2的厚度优选地为介于10微米和300微米之间。
顶壁2和底部保持壁3由对氧气和湿气具有阻隔性的材料诸如EVOH或铝或其它多层层压体制成。在一个优选实施方案中,顶壁2和底部保持壁3的材料选自由铝、铝/塑料复合材料、铝/塑料/纸复合材料、单层或多层塑料构成的组。
基部主体1的开口装置7容纳在封闭室8的外部,并且可紧邻底部保持壁3以及/或者可布置在邻接底部保持壁处。开口装置7优选地为指向胶囊底部保持壁3的一体成形成型部分。成型部分优选地构成至少一个或多个穿刺元件。这些穿刺元件可具有任何可能的形状,例如尖端、叶片、刀、针、锥形突起、棱锥形突起等。
具有多个穿刺元件的构型是优选的,因为此类表面起到压力扩散装置并且具有在刺穿发生之前允许胶囊内部的液体压力足够升高的作用。因此,在打开底部保持壁之前,胶囊内积聚了增强饮料的提取特性的所需压力。
开口装置7之间的以及开口装置7从其突出的底部结构6的上表面优选地被设计成用于收集从打开的底部保持壁3排出的饮料以及朝胶囊的至少一个饮料出口13引导所述饮料。
为了从根据本发明的胶囊10来制备饮料,可将胶囊10引入饮料制备机中。其中,通过饮料制备机的专用液体注入装置将流体注入胶囊10中。这些注入装置优选地被设计成用于刺穿胶囊的顶壁2并且在压力的作用下将流体提供到封闭室8中。胶囊内升高的压力随后将底部保持壁3压靠开口装置7,这在胶囊内积聚足够的压力之后将致使保持壁3打开或撕裂。由于封装的食物或饮料配料与注入的流体的相互作用制备的所得饮料随后从打开的保持壁3排出并流过胶囊的至少一个出口13。
应当理解,对本文所述的目前优选的实施方案作出的各种变化和修改对于本领域的技术人员将是显而易见的。可在不脱离本发明的实质和范围并在不减少所伴随的优点的情况下作出这些变化和修改。因此,这些变化和修改旨在由所附权利要求书涵盖。
Claims (19)
1.一种设计用于食物或饮料制备的胶囊(10),所述胶囊(10)包括杯形基部主体(1)、顶壁(2)和底部保持壁(3),所述底部保持壁(3)用于保持食物或饮料制备配料,其中所述基部主体(1)由一个注塑模制单件制成,并且其中所述基部主体的侧壁(4)包括至少一个共注塑多层区段(5),所述共注塑多层区段(5)具有两个由不同于芯层(5b)的聚合物材料制成的外层(5a),其特征在于:所述基部主体(1)还包括底部结构(6),所述底部结构(6)与所述侧壁(4)一体模制并且包括开口装置(7),所述开口装置(7)允许在使用所述胶囊时被打开,所述底部结构(6)的所述开口装置(7)与朝向所述胶囊的所述底部保持壁(3)的成型部分一体形成,所述共注塑多层区段(5)从所述侧壁(4)延伸至底部结构(6)的环形的外部部分(6c)中以与连接到环形的外部部分(6c)的上表面(3a)的底部保持壁(3)重叠,并且终止于所述底部保持壁(3)与所述底部结构(6)之间的接触区域(9a)中,其中:
所述顶壁(2)、所述底部保持壁(3)以及所述侧壁的所述共注塑多层区段(5)相对于彼此布置以在其界面处重叠;
所述底部结构(6)的所述外部部分(6c)包括由共注塑多层材料(12a)制成的区段和由单层材料(12b)制成的区段;并且
所述底部结构(6)的所述开口装置(7)由所述单层材料(12b)制成。
2.根据权利要求1所述的胶囊,其中所述开口装置(7)容纳在封闭室(8)的外部,以用于保持所述食物或饮料制备配料。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的胶囊,其中所述底部结构(6)的所述外部部分(6c)为位于所述开口装置(7)的径向外部的基本上平坦或水平布置的环形肩部。
4.根据权利要求1或2所述的胶囊,其中所述杯形基部主体(1)包括凸缘状边缘(11)。
5.根据权利要求4所述的胶囊,其中所述共注塑多层区段(5)从所述基部主体的所述侧壁(4)延伸至所述凸缘状边缘(11)以与所述胶囊的所述顶壁(2)至少部分地重叠。
6.根据权利要求1或2所述的胶囊,其中所述底部结构(6)的所述开口装置(7)还包括至少一个共注塑多层区段(5),所述共注塑多层区段(5)具有两个由不同于芯层(5b)的聚合材料制成的外层(5a)。
7.根据权利要求1或2所述的胶囊,其中所述顶壁(2)、所述底部保持壁(3)以及所述侧壁(4)的所述共注塑多层区段(5)的至少所述芯层(5b)对氧气和湿气具有阻隔性。
8.根据权利要求1或2所述的胶囊,其中所述共注塑多层区段(5)的所述芯层(5b)由气体阻隔型聚合物制成。
9.根据权利要求1或2所述的胶囊,其中所述顶壁(2)和所述底部保持壁(3)由对氧气和湿气具有阻隔性的材料制成。
10.根据权利要求1或2所述的胶囊,其中所述底部保持壁(3)和/或所述顶壁(2)为能够被刺穿的薄膜。
11.根据权利要求1或2所述的胶囊,其中通过所述开口装置(7)与所述胶囊的所述底部保持壁(3)的相对接合来实现所述胶囊的打开,并且其中所述相对接合在所述胶囊中流体的升高压力的作用下执行。
12.根据权利要求1或2所述的胶囊,其中一体的底部结构(6)设置有至少一个开口(13)。
13.根据权利要求1或2所述的胶囊,其中所述底部结构(6)包括一个或多个肋(14)。
14.根据权利要求1或2所述的胶囊,其中所述胶囊在一体的底部结构(6)的外部处没有底切区段。
15.根据权利要求1或2所述的胶囊,其中所述胶囊基部主体(1)能通过从所述胶囊的凸缘状边缘(11)的侧部的共注塑模制至少两种不同的聚合材料而获得。
