背景技术
活性污泥法目前是废水生化处理领域应用最为广泛的一种处理方法,它以活性污泥为主体对废水进行处理。好氧微生物在通入空气后大量繁殖,产生的胞外酶凝聚形成菌胶团,大量菌胶团相互结合形成了活性污泥,菌胶团内的微生物能够对废水中的污染物进行转移、转化、净化,从而达到废水生化处理的目的。与其它方法相比,活性污泥法具有适用范围广、投资低、运行费用低、处理效率高、处理效果好等优点。
有效微生物的数量和浓度是活性污泥法处理废水的决定性因素,而活性污泥作为微生物的宿主在废水生物处理过程中非常关键,活性污泥性状的好坏是判定废水处理效果的标准。在工业废水的生化处理中,由于很多污染物毒性大、难降解,使微生物生长缓慢、耐冲击能力差,从而导致活性污泥处于解体或膨胀状态,严重影响废水生化处理的处理效果。为了解决这一难题,一般通过投加具有特定功能的微生物菌种或营养物质,增强活性污泥的活性,提高微生物的处理效率。
