参照图1和图2,燃料泵模块24可包括凸缘42、壳体44、燃料压力调节器46、燃料泵48、燃料液位指示器或浮体50以及支承结构52。凸缘42构造并且设置成附接于燃料储罐22并且可密封地覆盖储罐22中的开口54。开口54可足够大以允许壳体44插入通过储罐壁并且进入腔室28。在一些实施例中并且取决于燃料储罐22的车辆封装,凸缘42可位于燃料储罐22的最大燃料液位32下面且由此位于蒸汽圆顶34的下面。
壳体44可位于并且可接触燃料储罐22的底部56。壳体44可封围并且可在结构上支承燃料压力调节器46和燃料泵48。在一些应用中,壳体44可包括限定基本上位于燃料泵48下面的燃料储存器(未示出)的边界。在一个示例中,支承结构52可以是或者可包括支承杆58(即,在图2中示出两个),这些支承杆基本上在凸缘42和壳体44之间垂直地延伸并且接合于该凸缘和壳体。支承结构52可进一步包括盘卷弹簧60,该盘卷弹簧适合于使得壳体44向下并且抵靠于燃料储罐22的底部56偏置。应理解并且可设想的是,燃料泵模块24可以是具有可密封地附接于燃料储罐22的凸缘的任何类型已知燃料泵模块。例如,壳体44可刚性地附接于凸缘42并且可无需支承结构52。
参照图2,凸缘42可包括面向相反方向的表面57、59。表面57可以是可基本上向上或向下面向的外表面。表面59可以是内表面,该内表面至少部分地限定燃料腔室28并且可基本上向下或向内面向。在一个实施例中,凸缘42可包括多个开口,这些开口通常提供进入燃料腔室28的连通。例如,凸缘42可包括燃料出口喷嘴62和蒸汽喷嘴64,其各自从外表面57向上突出并且限定通过凸缘42的相应开口。另外,电气连接器66可安装于凸缘42的外表面57,并且适合于将各个电线密封地路由通过凸缘42并且路由至燃料泵48和与液位浮体50相关联的液位发送器。
参照图1,蒸汽压力检测系统26可包括蒸汽检测传感器68、蒸汽压力入口装置70以及细长的管件或导管72,该管件或导管在蒸汽检测传感器68和蒸汽压力入口装置70之间延伸并且在它们之间提供连通。更确切地说,导管72可包括入口端部区段74和出口端部区段76并且跨越它们之间,该入口端部区段接合于蒸汽压力入口装置70,且该出口端部区段接合于蒸汽检测传感器68。
蒸汽检测传感器68可附接于凸缘42的外表面57。蒸汽压力入口装置70可位于燃料腔室28的蒸汽圆顶34中,且由此防止该蒸汽压力入口装置在液体燃料30中浸没任何明显的时间长度。进一步可设想且理解的是,蒸汽检测传感器68可安装于燃料储罐22外部的任何车辆结构,或者安装于燃料浸渍环境不会使得传感器操作退化的任何其他位置。例如且在能够保护传感器68免受燃料的不利影响的合适外壳(未示出)的情形下,传感器可位于燃料储罐22内部。在一个实施例中,凸缘42可并不与燃料泵模块24相关联,而可以是蒸汽压力检测系统26的一部分。
在一个实施例中,蒸汽压力入口装置70可附接于燃料储罐22的架空部分38的内壁或表面。类似地,导管72可附接于燃料储罐22的内壁,以实现结构完整性。在其他实施例中,蒸汽压力入口装置70和导管72可直接地附接于燃料腔室28中的其他结构(未示出),以便于结构完整性。这些结构可包括可以便于其他燃料系统功能的其他内部管道。
参照图2和3,蒸汽检测传感器68可包括封壳78,该封壳具有电气连接器部分80和管口或喷嘴部分82。封壳78可附接于凸缘42的外表面57。电气连接器部分80便于电线的连接,这些电线可例如路由至车辆控制器,该车辆控制器需要燃料储罐22内的蒸汽压力读数。喷嘴部分82可密封地突出通过凸缘42并且进入燃料腔室28,用于连接于导管72的出口端部区段76。此种连接可以是压配合连接或者连接导管或管件的本领域通常已知的任何其他类型连接。进一步可设想和理解的是,封壳78或者封壳的一部分可以是凸缘42的一体和单体部分。
参照图4,蒸汽压力入口装置70可通常包括入口结构84和蒸汽可渗透隔膜86。入口结构84可例如是鸟笼结构,该鸟笼结构促进蒸汽压力通过导管72的连通。在一个实施例中,鸟笼结构84可接合于燃料储罐22的架空部分38。导管72的入口端部区段74可附接于鸟笼结构84。蒸汽可渗透隔膜86可通常裹绕于或者覆盖鸟笼结构84,以促进燃料蒸汽渗透到结构84中,以使得可通过导管72适当地感测到蒸汽压力。
蒸汽可渗透隔膜86可基本上不可渗透液体燃料30。对于液体燃料转移通过隔膜86的此种阻抗通常最小化或消除液体燃料进入导管72的任何进入,此种进入可能使得压力感测能力退化。蒸汽可渗透隔膜86的一个非限制示例可以是合成织物,该合成织物可大体是柔性的(例如,膨胀型聚四氟乙烯)。此种织物的示例是通常防水又‘透气’的

本发明的优点和益处包括燃料储罐的更大设计灵活性以及车辆内的改进封装,同时维持可靠且稳固的燃料蒸汽压力感测能力。

Claims (10)

1.一种用于车辆的燃料存储组件,包括:
燃料储罐,所述燃料储罐限定燃料腔室;
燃料泵模块,所述燃料泵模块包括凸缘和燃料泵组件,所述凸缘接合于所述燃料储罐,且所述燃料泵组件由所述凸缘支承并设置在所述燃料腔室中;以及
蒸汽压力检测系统,所述蒸汽压力检测系统包括蒸汽压力传感器、蒸汽压力入口装置以及导管,所述蒸汽压力传感器附接于所述凸缘,所述蒸汽压力入口装置设置在所述燃料腔室中,且所述导管附接于所述蒸汽压力入口装置并在所述蒸汽压力入口装置和所述蒸汽压力传感器之间连通,
所述蒸汽压力检测系统还包括:
燃料蒸汽可渗透隔膜;
管件,所述管件在燃料蒸汽可渗透隔膜和蒸汽压力传感器之间延伸,所述管件至少部分地在管件的入口端部区段和蒸汽压力传感器之间提供连通,其中,所述燃料蒸汽可渗透隔膜通常覆盖管件的入口端部区段的至少一部分;和
凸缘,所述凸缘构造并且设置成附接于车辆燃料储罐,其中,所述管件的入口端部区段和蒸汽压力传感器之间的连通通过凸缘进行,其中,所述蒸汽压力传感器包括封壳,所述封壳具有电气连接部分和管口部分,所述管口部分延伸通过凸缘,用于连接于管件的与入口端部区段相对的出口端部区段。
2.根据权利要求1所述的燃料存储组件,其中,所述蒸汽压力入口装置设置在比所述凸缘更高的高度处。
3.根据权利要求1所述的燃料存储组件,其中,所述燃料储罐包括最大燃料液位,且所述蒸汽压力入口装置设置在所述最大燃料液位之上。
4.根据权利要求3所述的燃料存储组件,其中,所述凸缘设置在所述最大燃料液位之下。
5.根据权利要求1所述的燃料存储组件,其中,所述蒸汽压力入口装置包括蒸汽可渗透隔膜,所述蒸汽可渗透隔膜构造并且设置成防止液体燃料转移到所述导管的入口端部区段中。
6.根据权利要求5所述的燃料存储组件,其中,所述蒸汽压力入口装置包括鸟笼结构,所述鸟笼结构附接于所述导管并且由所述蒸汽可渗透隔膜覆盖。
7.一种用于车辆的燃料存储组件,包括:
燃料储罐,所述燃料储罐限定具有蒸汽圆顶的燃料腔室;以及
蒸汽压力检测系统,所述蒸汽压力检测系统包括蒸汽压力传感器、蒸汽可渗透隔膜以及导管,所述蒸汽压力传感器设置在所述燃料储罐外部,且所述导管在所述蒸汽圆顶和所述蒸汽压力传感器之间延伸,用于在它们之间提供连通,其中,所述导管包括入口端部区段,所述入口端部区段设置在所述蒸汽圆顶中并且面对所述蒸汽可渗透隔膜,以限制液体燃料转移到所述入口端部区段中,
所述蒸汽压力检测系统还包括:
燃料蒸汽可渗透隔膜;
管件,所述管件在燃料蒸汽可渗透隔膜和蒸汽压力传感器之间延伸,所述管件至少部分地在管件的入口端部区段和蒸汽压力传感器之间提供连通,其中,所述燃料蒸汽可渗透隔膜通常覆盖管件的入口端部区段的至少一部分;和
凸缘,所述凸缘构造并且设置成附接于车辆燃料储罐,其中,所述管件的入口端部区段和蒸汽压力传感器之间的连通通过凸缘进行,其中,所述蒸汽压力传感器包括封壳,所述封壳具有电气连接部分和管口部分,所述管口部分延伸通过凸缘,用于连接于管件的与入口端部区段相对的出口端部区段。
8.根据权利要求7所述的燃料存储组件,进一步包括:
凸缘,所述凸缘附接于所述燃料储罐,其中,所述入口端部区段通过所述凸缘与所述蒸汽压力传感器连通。
9.根据权利要求8所述的燃料存储组件,其中,所述蒸汽压力传感器附接于所述凸缘。
10.根据权利要求9所述的燃料存储组件,其中,所述凸缘是燃料泵模块的一部分,且所述蒸汽圆顶由所述燃料储罐的一部分和所述液体燃料的表面限定。
