The invention relates to a down-regulating coke oven regulating brick adding and taking tool and a using method thereof, wherein the regulating brick adding and taking tool comprises a rod body, a hook head arranged at one end of the rod body and a hand-held handle arranged at the other end of the rod body; also comprises a lighting device; the lighting device is arranged on a rod body behind the hook head and consists of a lamp cap and a lamp cap protection box, the lamp cap is arranged in the lamp cap protection box, and a high-temperature-resistant spherical glass cover is arranged on the lamp cap protection box facing to one side of the hook head; the body of rod is hollow structure, and the wiring end of lamp holder is through wearing to establish the cable connection power in the body of rod, and the power is located in the body of rod that is close to handheld handle one end, is equipped with switch on the body of rod. Compared with the prior art, the invention has the beneficial effects that:
1) An operator can carry out the brick adding and taking operation only by standing on the ground 2-3 meters away from the lower adjusting hole, so that the safety is high;
2) The hook head on the brick adding and taking tool is matched with the hole on the brick and combined with the lighting device, so that the brick can be efficiently and conveniently added and taken under the condition that the placing position of the brick in the hole is clearly and downwards adjusted;

4) And a plurality of protective measures are adopted for the lighting device, so that the circuit system is prevented from being damaged due to high temperature in the down-regulating hole, and the on-line regulating operation is realized.
