各中药的药理作用：
白芍：苦、酸、微寒。归肝经、脾经。功效与主治：养血和宫、缓急止痛、敛阴平肝。用于崩漏、自汗、盗汗、胁肋脘腹疼痛、四肢挛痛、头痛、眩晕。

黄芩：苦、寒。归肺、胃、胆、大肠经。功效与主治：清热燥湿，泻火解毒，止血，安胎。用于湿温暑湿，黄疸泻痢，热淋涩痛；肺热咳嗽；热病烦渴，寒热往来；咽喉肿痛，痈肿疮毒；血热出血；胎动不安。
郁金：辛、苦，寒。归肝、心、胆经。功效与主治：活血止痛，行气解郁，凉血清心，利胆退黄。用于胸腹胁肋诸痛、妇女痛经、经闭、癥瘕结块、热病神昏、癫狂、惊痫、吐血、衄备、血淋、砂淋、黄疸。
焦三仙：即焦山楂、焦麦芽、焦神曲之总称。功效与主治：消积化滞。焦麦芽有很好的消化淀粉类食物的作用；焦山楂善于治疗肉类或油腻过多所致的食滞；焦神曲则利于消化米面食物。
金银花：甘、寒。归肺、心、胃经。功效与主治：清热解毒，疏风散热、抗炎、补虚疗风。用于胀满下疾、温病发热、热毒痈疡和肿瘤等症、头昏头晕、口干作渴、多汗烦闷。
砂仁:辛，温。归脾、胃经。功效与主治：化湿开胃，温脾止泻，理气安胎。用于湿浊中阻，脘痞不饥，脾胃虚寒，呕吐泄泻，妊娠恶阻，胎动不安。
黄连：苦，寒。归心、肝、胃、大肠经。功效与主治：清热燥湿，泻火解毒。用于用于湿热痞满，呕吐吞酸，泻痢，黄疸，高热神昏，心火亢盛，心烦不寐，血热吐衄，目赤，牙痛，消渴，痈肿疔疮；外治湿疹，湿疮，耳道流脓。

柴胡：苦、辛，微寒。归肝、胆经。功效与主治：疏散退热，疏肝解郁，升举阳气，清胆截疟。用于少阳证，外感发热；肝郁气滞，胸胁疼痛，月经不调；气虚下陷，久泻脱肛，胃、子宫下垂；疟疾。
炙甘草：甘，平。归脾、胃、心、肺经。功效与主治：补脾和胃，益气复脉。用于脾胃虚弱，倦怠乏力，心动悸，脉结代，可解附子毒。
蒲公英：苦、甘，寒。归肝、胃经。功效与主治：清热解毒，利湿。用于疔疮肿毒，乳痈，瘰疠，目赤，咽痛，肺痈，肠痈，湿热黄疸，热淋涩痛。治急性乳腺炎，淋巴腺炎，瘰疠，疔毒疮肿，急性结膜炎，感冒发热，急性扁桃体炎，急性支气管炎、胃炎，肝炎，胆囊炎，尿路感染，虫蛇咬伤。
