条形码是数据的机器可读表示。条形码通常打印在物品上，诸如纸质标签或物品包装、制造商或零售商的优惠券、或票证或通行证(诸如航空公司登机通行证)。条形码扫描仪(也称为条形码阅读器)用于从条形码提取信息。条形码扫描仪被发现在许多不同类型的设施中，包括商店和超市、机场安检和登机区、体育场馆、图书馆、考试中心、会议中心、以及许多其它场合。条形码扫描仪的使用急剧提高了执行许多普通交易的速度和便利性。

发明内容

图4示出了根据本发明的替代实施例的通信传达条形码信息的方法的更详细的流程图。在第一步骤(410)中，用户打开应用。注意的是，应用的内容可能并不总是包含条形码，但条形码不存在的情形与本发明无关。如果应用内容包含一个或多个条形码，则用户可能希望立即将它们中的一个或多个发送到销售点扫描仪，或者可能将它们准备用于在稍后时间处的发送。为了达到这个目的，用户调用应用的打印特征，如下一步骤(415)中所描绘的。操作系统然后显示通常示出可用的打印机的列表的熟悉的打印特征对话框(420)。如果用户没有明确地做出选择，则对话框可以指示自动选定的默认打印机。在下一步骤(425)中，如果已经不是默认打印机，则用户选择对应于本发明的打印机。在这一步骤中，作为必要，用户也可以执行附加的打印特征定制。在下一步骤(430)中，用户通常通过点击打印对话框上的确认按钮来提交打印作业。在随后的步骤(435)中，系统搜索打印的内容的条形码，并如前所述将它们提取出来。该步骤可以完全在设备上执行，或者与基于远程服务器的组件组合执行。在下一步骤(440)中，系统通知用户一个或多个提取的条形码准备用于射束。系统也会保存提取的条形码用于将来使用或防止由于设备崩溃的损失。用户然后决定他/她是否想要立即或在稍后时间处射束(多个)条形码(450)。例如，如果用户已经在商店或场地处，并且条形码代表优惠券或票证，则用户将想要立刻射束条形码。然而，如果用户正在家中浏览应用，则然后他/她可能简单地想要让(多个)条形码保存用于以后使用。如果用户选择立即射束(多个)条形码，则用户选择条形码(455)，并且然后启动射束(460)。注意的是，这些步骤可以组合，因为选择条形码也能够启动该条形码的射束。此外，如果仅检测到一个条形码，例如，在步骤(435)中，则响应于通知的纯粹动作能够通过例如在步骤(450)中点击通知来启动条形码的射束。最后，如果条形码表示一次性使用项目，则用户能够从系统移除条形码(465)。图4也示出了用于当用户希望射束先前保存的条形码时的情况的流程。在这种情况下，用户调用系统(470)并且被呈现以所有先前保存的条形码的列表。调用系统可以经由操作系统的打印机管理功用并且选择射束打印机、或直接管理射束打印机的定制应用完成。
图5(a)-图5(d)示出了根据本发明的替代实施例的示出用户界面的移动设备屏幕截图。该实施例通常遵循图4的实施例中描述的流程，但是步骤440-460组合成单个步骤，使得一旦步骤440的解码已经完成就自动地射束第一提取的条形码。因此，根据该实施例，如果仅提取单个条形码，则能够立即射束，而无需通过用户的进一步交互。如果提取多个条形码，则至少第一提取的条形码能够立即射束，而无需通过用户的进一步交互。能够附加地让提取的条形码在用户选择时对于射束可用。图5(a)示出了Android上的电子邮件应用的屏幕截图，屏幕截图显示包含条形码的电子邮件消息(510)。为了调用打印到射束特征，用户首先敲击菜单图标(512)。此动作使得菜单显示如图5(b)中所示。用户然后敲击“打印”动作(520)，使得打印特征对话框显示如图5(c)中所示。此时，如果尚未被选定为打印机，则用户选择打印到射束打印机(530)。用户然后敲击打印确认按钮(532)。系统然后解码打印的内容、提取条形码，并开始射束第一条形码(542)，如图5(d)中所示。为了与基于图像的扫描仪的兼容性，也显示条形码(540)。条形码显示器也提供按钮以从系统中删除条形码或保存用于将来使用。
提供本发明的前述详细描述是为了说明的目的，而不意图是穷尽性的或将本发明限制于公开的实施例。因此，本发明的范围由所附权利要求定义。

Claims (18)

1.一种使用移动设备通信传递条形码信息的方法，包括以下步骤：
由移动设备的操作系统提供打印框架，其中移动设备上的能够打印的应用经由该打印框架访问打印机；
由移动设备的第一软件应用通过所述打印框架访问虚拟打印机驱动器，该第一软件应用是能够打印的，并且所述虚拟打印机驱动器由所述打印框架作为打印机呈现给所述第一软件应用；
调用所述第一软件应用的应用打印特征，以将内容打印到所述虚拟打印机驱动器；
由所述虚拟打印机驱动器从由该虚拟打印机驱动器接收自所述第一软件应用的内容中提取一个或多个条形码；以及
使用移动设备的发光硬件，将由所述虚拟打印机驱动器所提取的条形码作为脉冲光发送。
2.根据权利要求1所述的方法，其中，在根据所述提取的步骤提取时，针对一个或多个提取的条形码中的至少第一个自动地执行发送的步骤。
3.根据权利要求1所述的方法，其中，所述提取的步骤是在用户从一个或多个提取的条形码当中选择条形码时执行的。
4.根据权利要求1所述的方法，还包括：一旦提取一个或多个条形码，则向用户提供通知。
5.根据权利要求4所述的方法，其中，用户执行所述打印特征的调用。
6.根据权利要求1所述的方法，其中，所述提取的步骤包括检查由所述第一软件应用生成的内容。
7.根据权利要求6所述的方法，其中，所述第一软件应用包括电子邮件应用、网页浏览器、或图片库中的一个或多个。
8.根据权利要求6所述的方法，其中，在移动设备处执行所述检查的全部或部分。
9.根据权利要求6所述的方法，其中，在外部应用服务器处执行所述检查的全部或部分。
10.一种用于通信传递条形码信息的系统，该系统包括移动设备，该移动设备具有：
发光硬件；
操作系统，其具有打印框架，其中所述移动设备上的能够打印的应用经由该打印框架访问打印机；
虚拟打印机驱动器，其由所述能够打印的应用访问，该虚拟打印机驱动器由所述打印框架作为打印机呈现给所述能够打印的应用；
第一软件应用，该第一软件应用是能够打印的，其中在访问所述虚拟打印机驱动器并且调用第一软件应用的打印特征以打印内容到所述虚拟打印机驱动器时，所述第一软件应用生成所述内容，以及
其中所述虚拟打印机驱动器从由该虚拟打印机驱动器接收自所述第一软件应用的内容中提取一个或多个条形码，以及
其中所述移动设备被配置为使用该移动设备的发光硬件将由所述虚拟打印机驱动器所提取的条形码作为脉冲光发送。
11.根据权利要求10所述的系统，其中，所述移动设备被配置为：在提取时自动地发送提取的一个或多个提取的条形码中的至少第一个。
12.根据权利要求10所述的系统，其中，所述移动设备被配置为：在用户从一个或多个提取的条形码当中选择条形码时进行发送。
13.根据权利要求12所述的系统，其中，一旦提取一个或多个条形码，则所述系统提供对用户的通知。
14.根据权利要求13所述的系统，其中，用户执行所述打印特征的调用。
15.根据权利要求10所述的系统，其中，一个或多个条形码的提取包括由第一应用生成的内容的检查。
16.根据权利要求15所述的系统，其中，第一应用包括电子邮件应用、网页浏览器、或图片库中的一个或多个。
17.根据权利要求15所述的系统，其中，在所述移动设备处执行所述检查的全部或部分。
18.根据权利要求15所述的系统，其中，在外部应用服务器处执行所述检查的全部或部分。
