Abstract

Description
本发明涉及弹药和武器。
本发明对于在每个枪管内轴向重叠布置多个射弹具有具体的但并不排除其它的应用,该枪管内带有彼此分开的可选择性地引发推进剂装药,用来推进射弹顺序通过枪管的枪口,在射弹和枪管之间接合密封,对于尾端推进装药来说,防止引发的推进装药向后移动。下面将说明这类枪管。
本发明在弹药和武器具有具体应用,在本人以前的国际专利申请PCT/AU94/00124、PCT/AU96/00459和正在申请的专利中已经描述。
在本人以前的国际专利申请PCT/AU96/00459中描述了在头部和触点之间的在点火期间起到密封效果的楔型作用。这样的密封保证了通过射弹的推进剂的最小流失,并保证了下一个射弹和枪管之间的密封,这样,引发的推进剂不通过下一个存留的射弹并随后引起推进剂装药的引发。
头部通常由比触点部分软的材料制成,可以向后膨胀,以便于在头部向后压装入在触点部分上期间,使楔形部分与枪管进入密封接触。
如果楔形部分和内孔之间的角#减小,头部和内孔之间达到很大的接合压力,在引发期间,由于楔形作用的增加,该压力传递至内孔。将达到的凸肩部分相对于枪管内孔的闭锁点、即脊部和触点部分通过凸肩部分/头部的前端将摇动,其结果是枪管伸长。
另外的锁定效果,在失效之前,将在枪管内引起很高的压力并使枪管损坏。从无卡弹发数试验至今,认为该必要性需要说明,如果枪管压力高达约60000psi的最高点时,该装置可以应用。本系统的意图是以最小的内部压力、即约40000psi的膛压工作。
如PCT/AU96/00459所描述的是一种在脊部和密封装置之间的反楔形布置。然而,该布置在密封部分的凸肩和内孔上制成的凹槽之间有效互锁。内孔凹槽定位射弹在固定位置,并在装弹期间促成了气体密封,能够迫使触点部分向后,相应的密封部分成为楔形,随后的每个射弹成组布置在枪管内、其推进剂装药的前面。清楚理解上述内容是必要的,其结果是在内孔的圆周上的一系列所不希望有的凹槽。
本发明的目的是提供一种在射弹和其支撑枪管之间进行有效密封的密封装置,该装置将有效地用于发射的引发,并防止引发的推进剂气体通过下一个射弹使其点燃。
按照上述目的,本发明在一方面保留了上述类型枪管总成的基本特征,其中每个射弹具有包括一个头部和一个尾部的主体部分,其尾部直径从头部开始向后减小,一个围绕所述尾部的密封卡带,密封卡带具有一个大体圆柱形的与枪管的内孔接合的外表面、一个与尾部互补的内表面,因此,主体部分可以通过密封部分向外移动,密封部分向外膨胀与所述枪管内孔接合。
尾部可以是从头部开始减小阶梯形,也可以制成部分圆锥形表面的锥形。头部最好是弹头形,其最大部分的直径小于枪管内孔直径,尾部从环形凸肩向后延伸,主体直径也类似地减小。
密封卡带具有一个互补的部分圆锥形内表面,这保证了密封卡带不凸起,得到一个优良的导向边缘。也提供了充足的径向空间,用于定位足够强度的密封,以抵抗点火压力。
主体部分的后端部可以以凸肩部分终止,以限制密封卡带沿主体部分的向后移动。凸肩可以采用护圈形以保护在主体部分上的密封卡带,如果需要凸肩以较小的角度向外膨胀与相应的密封卡带锥形后内表面接合,以便于在引发期间,至少密封卡带的后端部是部分锥形,与内孔密封接触。
凸肩的接合可以设置成通过密封卡带与射弹的不充分锁定,但却导致阻止其向前运动,这能够改善推进剂装药的燃烧特性。凸肩可以是渐缩形的形状,由于与射弹相当接近,因此与射弹的外端面接合,以减小阻力。换句话说,锥形尾部可以延伸至主体部分的后端部。
最好在互补的锥形部分圆锥表面和枪管内孔之间的夹角在5度和25度之间,密封卡带中间壁的厚度小于枪管内孔直径的四分之一,最好小于枪管内孔直径的八分之一,特别适用于内部压力可以达到90000psi的高压力。低压可应用于40000psi以上,其范围可以在5度至35度内。密封卡带的长度最好超过主体部分长度的一半。
用于低压的密封卡带可以由弹性密封环制成,该弹性密封环安装在向后阶梯形减小的尾部,这样它可以分段膨胀与枪管内孔接合,并在引发期间分别释放。该台阶可以包括过渡脊,以防止密封环在引发期间离开有效密封位置而松脱。而且,密封卡带或环的外圆柱表面可以提供凹槽或迷宫是密封凹槽。
主体部分和密封卡带可以用相同材料制成,但是,主体部分的材料最好比密封卡带的材料硬度高。
为了更容易地理解本发明、并更容易付诸实践,下面将参照附图对实施例进行说明。其中,

按照图1所示的实施例,每个所述枪管内的射弹总成10支撑在枪管11内,同时,推进剂恰好位于射弹总成10的尾部空间12内。
每个射弹总成10包括一个普通弹头形状主体部分14,其具有一个向后缩小的部分圆锥形尾部15,该圆锥尾部15具有从倾斜的凸缘17略微向尾部末端的锥形外表面19。补偿的锥形密封卡带16支撑在尾部15上。该卡带在尾部15的端部具有自由移动空间,因此它可以移动至接合状态即从非接合工作状态至接合状态。
密封卡带16的尾部内表面18相对于其头部内表面20是锥形的、具有较小的角度,并与尾部15的后部凸肩23分开。由于略微的径向膨胀和有效的密封接合,带动射弹上及密封卡带16通过枪管,主体部分14被推动通过枪管11,在主体部分14开始向前移动时,内表面18和凸肩23进入接合状态。
当装弹时,冲击作用于主体部分14,当射弹在方向“A”定位于枪管11内的合适位置并且被密封卡带卡住时,将使互补的楔形表面19和20接合,并使密封卡带16向外膨胀,达到与枪管11的内孔21固定密封接合,射弹总成10密封并定位于枪管10内。
这样的密封防止了引发的推进剂装药从靠近后部射弹和引发的推进剂装药之间分流,但是,在主体14向前小量移动至允许射弹10在引发的推进剂装药作用下被推进至枪口期间,允许互补的楔形表面19和20不接合。
用于装弹的活动开口扳手可以通过凸缘,并与凸缘的头部接合使其定位于内孔内所需的位置上。锤子能够通过扳手撞击枪口。射弹能够从后部装入,活动开口扳手能够通过凸肩上部夹住密封卡带使其定位。另外,推进剂装药的固体块可以制成多孔空心的前部,当其位于楔形区域时,布置在密封卡带上。
这样的射弹具有具有这样的优点,即允许采用非常小的楔形角,并因此在较高膛压下需要较高的锁定压力。然而,与采用楔形作用角相反,存在这样潜在的问题,即由于前楔形布置将减小至最低限度,将导致在引发期间闭锁压力的释放。而且,在这样的布置中,对于所用优选材料来说,射弹的尺寸是可以实现的。
图2示出了在枪管30内容纳榴弹类射弹31、并从枪口堆叠至尾部,期间分开很小的间隔用于盛装推进剂。这样,在枪管内仅产生很小的压力,因此很容易密封。然而,在装弹期间,密封必须是有效的并能够起作用。
对于实现该目的,每个射弹31从凸肩35至锥形凸肩36之间制成了一系列V形凹槽,形成向内的台阶形尾部33。在该实施例中,有两个凹槽34a和34b,后面的一个34b形成了凸肩36的内部。
具有V形内表面39的弹性密封环38通常位于较小直径后凹槽34b内,在该位置上,非膨胀环38在内孔40内自由滑动。
裙部41具有滑动支撑在台阶43的头部42,并贯穿密封环,或者通过外表面上的间隙或者通过在其上部制成的孔,与下一个射弹的头部44接合,以使射弹在内孔内定位。密封环38可以用导电材料制成、并用于制成电路的触点用于引发推进剂装药。
在装弹期间,在裙部41与已装入的射弹31的头部44接触后,一个装载的力作用于射弹31的头部44,以迫使密封环38进入第一凹槽34a内,因此密封环38膨胀并与枪管达到严密的密封接触,起到必要的密封作用。接下来,在引发期间,射弹的初始运动可以去除密封环38,使其返回尾部凹槽34b,在该位置与裙部41同步,可以沿锥面凸肩倾斜向上,保证与枪管40的有效密封。然而,密封环38在凹槽38b内的定位有可能很不严格,其尺寸将恰好小于内孔直径。很有可能在引发压力的作用下,裙部41的裙尾将膨胀,因此提供了必要的方法盛装引发的推进剂,并限制了其漏出通过射弹31。为此,裙部41可以用强化尼龙制成。
在图3所示的实施例中,主体51的后凸肩50向外向前延伸,在55处与密封卡带52的互补锥形外后表面57接合,以防止推进剂充满后表面54,并在引发期间夹紧密封卡带52的后端使其脱离与枪管56的内孔53的紧密接合。
该实施例具有较大的密封卡带52,密封卡带52由韧性材料如铅制成,并特别适合用于较低推进剂压力。还有一个好办法,如图虚线60所示的用于与装弹管接合的密封卡带前端用于与卡带52螺纹接合。
各种形式的射弹可以用于滑膛或线膛枪管。合适的膛线将贯穿整个枪管的长度,由于射弹是膛线预制的,使射弹与枪管内的膛线啮合。各种形式的射弹还具有如下优点:在向前运动通过枪管期间,没有与枪管密封接合。而且,全部引发压力用于密封,并锁定后部射弹解锁前一个射弹。这样,射弹可以装入枪管内没有隆起并保证了间隔。
另外,这样认为,这样的射弹的主体部分和密封部分都可以用硬质金属制成,包括软质金属或非金属插件或涂覆形式密封。最好材料是精选的,以便于在射弹的接合楔形表面小于枪管的内孔和密封部分之间摩擦锁定时,加速解锁过程。
如果需要采用较小的密封部分并减小开锁阻力,也可以使用多个楔形密封带。而且,可以使用开口环类密封带,并在自由状态下可以与内孔偏置接合,或与主体部分的互补楔形表面进入偏置接触状态,并在楔形作用下仅向外移动。
上述仅仅是为了说明本发明的实施例,对于本领域普通技术人员来说,所有各种形式的变化都被认为落在本发明的范围内,具体保护范围由权利要求书限定。
Claims (11)
1.一种所述类型的枪管总成,其特征在于,每个射弹具有一个包括头部和尾部的主体部分,尾部直径从所述头部向后减小,一个围绕所述尾部的密封卡带,该密封卡带具有大体圆柱形的外表面,该外表面与枪管的内孔接合,一个与尾部互补的内表面,主体可以向后移动,通过密封部分向外膨胀与枪管内孔接合。
2.按照权利要求1所述的枪管总成,其特征在于,尾部从头部阶梯减小。
3.按照权利要求1所述的枪管总成,其特征在于,尾部呈锥形,形成部分圆锥表面。
4.按照权利要求1或2所述的枪管总成,其特征在于,尾部从一返回凸肩向后延伸。
5.按照权利要求2所述的枪管总成,其特征在于,密封卡带具有一个互补的部分圆锥形的内表面。
6.按照权利要求5所述的枪管总成,其特征在于,在互补的部分圆锥形表面和枪管内孔之间的角#的度数在5度和35度范围内,密封带的中间壁厚度小于枪管内孔直径的四分之一。
7.按照上述任何一个权利要求所述的枪管总成,其特征在于,主体部分的后末端通过一凸肩截止,并限定了密封卡带沿主体部分向后移动。
8.按照权利要求7所述的枪管总成,其特征在于,凸肩向后膨胀,并以较陡的角度与密封卡带的对应锥形后内表面接合。
9.按照权利要求1所述的枪管总成,其特征在于,密封卡带以弹性密封环的形式安装在向后减小的台阶形尾部。
10.按照权利要求7所述的枪管总成,其特征在于,台阶包括过渡脊。
