Description

Vehicle with a steering wheel
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a vehicle in which a passenger space is formed using a panel.
Background
A truck is a flat-head vehicle having a cab disposed above an engine. The cab is a structure in which a plurality of panels are joined to form a passenger space in which passengers are seated. For example, the cab has a structure in which a dash panel, a side panel, a floor panel, and the like are fixed by welding or the like.
In addition, a shaft member as a skeleton component to which other components are attached is provided in the cab above the floor panel along the vehicle width direction. The shaft member is coupled to the floor panel via the bracket.

Disclosure of Invention
Problems to be solved by the invention
Note that, for example, when a truck collides with another vehicle in the front, an impact load acts on the front of the cab (i.e., the front fender). When such an impact load is applied, the floor panel of the cab is also deformed. Further, the shaft member coupled to the floor panel via the bracket is bent toward the passenger side in accordance with the deformation of the floor panel, and therefore, there is a possibility that the passenger space (living space) is narrowed.
The present invention has been made in view of these points, and an object thereof is to suppress narrowing of a passenger space of a vehicle at the time of a collision.
Means for solving the problems
In one aspect of the present invention, there is provided a vehicle including: a floor panel; a shaft member provided above the floor panel in the vehicle width direction and to which other components are attached; a bracket for connecting the floor panel and the shaft member; a fastening member for fastening the bracket to the floor panel; an insertion hole portion provided in the bracket and through which the fastening member is inserted; and a cutout portion that communicates with the insertion hole portion in the bracket and is formed by cutting out an end portion in a longitudinal direction of the bracket.
According to the vehicle configured as described above, when the floor panel deforms due to an impact load, the fastening member inserted through the insertion hole portion moves relative to the cutout portion, and the bracket falls off from the floor panel. Thus, the bracket released from the coupled state with the floor panel is less likely to be pulled by the deformation of the floor panel and to be bent toward the passenger side. As a result, the passenger space can be suppressed from narrowing.
Further, the width of the notch may be smaller than the diameter of the insertion hole and larger than the outer diameter of the bolt of the fastening member.
Further, a direction in which the insertion hole portion communicates with the cutout portion may be a direction in which the floor panel deforms when an impact acts from the front of the vehicle.
The shaft member may be an instrument panel cross member disposed behind an instrument panel.
Effects of the invention
According to the present invention, an effect is obtained that the narrowing of the passenger space of the vehicle can be suppressed at the time of a collision.

Detailed Description
< overview of vehicle >
The configuration of a vehicle 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to fig. 1.
Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram showing an example of the configuration of a vehicle 1 according to an embodiment. The vehicle 1 is a truck as an example thereof. As shown in fig. 1, a vehicle 1 includes a vehicle body frame 2, an engine 3, and a cab 4.
The vehicle body frame 2 is a framework that supports the vehicle 1. The vehicle body frame 2 includes a pair of side frames extending in the front-rear direction of the vehicle 1, and a cross member extending in the vehicle width direction to connect the pair of side frames.
The engine 3 is a diesel engine as an example thereof, and is mounted on the vehicle body frame 2 at the front portion of the vehicle 1.
The cab 4 is located above the engine 3 at the front of the vehicle 1. That is, the vehicle 1 is a flat-head type vehicle. The cab 4 forms a passenger space in which passengers are seated. The cab 4 has a structure in which a plurality of panels such as a dash panel, side panels, and a floor panel are joined together. The cab 4 is tiltably attached to the vehicle body frame 2 so that maintenance of the engine 3 and the like can be performed.
Here, the internal structure of the cab 4 will be described with reference to fig. 2 and 3.
Fig. 2 is a schematic side view for explaining an example of the internal structure of the cab 4. Fig. 3 is a schematic plan view for explaining an example of the internal structure of cab 4. Fig. 3 is a view of fig. 2 as viewed from above.
Hereinafter, the main part of the present invention will be described as the internal structure of cab 4, and detailed description of other parts will be omitted. As shown in fig. 2 and 3, the cab 4 has a floor panel 10, an instrument panel beam 20, brackets 30, 40, and a fastening member 50.
Floor panel 10 is a plate constituting the bottom surface of the passenger space of cab 4. As shown in fig. 2, the floor panel 10 is of a stepped configuration. As shown in fig. 3, fixing plates 15 and 16 are fixed to the upper surface 11 of the floor panel 10.
As shown in fig. 3, dash cross member 20 is a shaft member disposed along the vehicle width direction of cab 4. As shown in fig. 2, the dash cross-member 20 is located above the floor panel 10. The dash cross member 20 is located behind the dash panel (not shown).
The dash cross member 20 is a framework part of the cab 4 to which various parts are attached. For example, the dash cross-member 20 mounts the dash panel. Although omitted in fig. 3, other parts are actually mounted on the dash cross-member 20.
The brackets 30 and 40 are plate-like members that connect the instrument panel cross member 20 and the floor panel 10 (specifically, the fixing plates 15 and 16). One end sides of the brackets 30, 40 are coupled to the instrument panel cross member 20, and the other end sides of the brackets 30, 40 are coupled to the fixing plates 15, 16. As shown in fig. 3, bracket 30 is located at one axial end side of dash cross member 20, and bracket 40 is located at the other axial end side of dash cross member 20.
The fastening member 50 includes, as an example, a bolt and a nut, and fastens the brackets 30 and 40 and the floor panel 10 (specifically, the fixing plates 15 and 16) therebetween. For example, the fastening member 50 is fastened so as to sandwich the bracket 30 and the fixed plate 15, and fastened so as to sandwich the bracket 40 and the fixed plate 16.
For example, when the vehicle 1 collides with another vehicle in the front, an impact load acts on the front of the cab 4 (the front fender of the cab 4). When such an impact load is applied, the floor panel 10 of the cab 4 is also deformed. Further, along with the deformation of the floor panel 10, the dash cross member 20 connected to the floor panel 10 via the brackets 30 and 40 is bent toward the passenger side (in the direction indicated by the arrow F in fig. 3), and therefore the passenger space (living space) is narrowed.
In contrast, in the present embodiment, when an impact load acts on the front surface of the cab 4, the brackets 30 and 40 fall off the floor panel 10. Thus, even if the floor panel 10 is deformed by an impact load, the brackets 30 and 40 detached from the floor panel 10 are less likely to be pulled by the deformation of the floor panel 10 and to be bent toward the passenger side. As a result, the passenger space can be suppressed from narrowing.
Connecting structure of bracket and floor panel
Next, a connection structure between the brackets 30 and 40 and the floor panel 10 will be described. Further, since the coupling structure between the bracket 40 and the floor panel 10 (specifically, the fixing plate 16) is the same as the coupling structure between the bracket 30 and the floor panel 10 (specifically, the fixing plate 15), the coupling structure between the bracket 30 and the floor panel 10 will be described below as an example.
Fig. 4 and 5 are schematic views for explaining an example of a connection structure between the bracket 30 and the fixed plate 15. In fig. 5, the fastening member 50 is shown in a state removed from fig. 4 for convenience of explanation.
When an excessive impact load (for example, such an impact load as occurs when the vehicle 1 collides with another vehicle in the front) acts on the front surface of the cab 4, the other end portion 32 of the bracket 30 connected to the fixed plate 15 falls off from the fixed plate 15. On the other hand, when an excessive impact load does not act on the front surface of cab 4, the coupled state of other end portion 32 of bracket 30 and fixed plate 15 is maintained, and high rigidity of cab 4 is ensured.
As shown in fig. 5, the other end portion 32 has a circular hole 32a and a cutout 32 b. The circular hole 32a and the notch 32b are formed at 2, but not limited thereto, and may be formed at 1, 3 or more.
The circular hole 32a is an insertion hole portion through which a bolt of the fastening member 50 is inserted. The bolt is inserted through the circular hole 32a of the bracket 30 and the insertion hole of the fixing plate 15. The head of the bolt is sandwiched between the bracket 30 and the fixing plate 15 at the tip end side and a nut screwed to the bolt.
The notch 32b is a portion formed by cutting the other end 32 of the bracket 30. Further, the cutout 32b communicates with the circular hole 32 a. Thus, when an impact is applied to the vehicle 1, the bolt inserted into the circular hole 32a is relatively moved outward by the notch 32b, and the bracket 30 is detached from the fixed plate 15. In addition, the fastening member 50 is maintained in a state of being inserted through the insertion hole of the fixed plate 15.
Fig. 6 is a schematic view for explaining a state after the bracket 30 is detached from the fixed plate 15. Here, an excessive impact is applied to the vehicle 1, and the floor panel 10 is deformed. When the floor panel 10 is deformed, the bracket 30 moves upward as shown in fig. 6. By moving and dropping the bracket 30 in this way, rearward deflection of the instrument panel cross member 20 supported by the bracket 30 can be suppressed.
The width of the slit 32b is larger than the outer diameter of the bolt of the fastening member 50. Thereby, the bracket 30 is relatively moved with respect to the bolt of the fastening member 50 through the slit 32b, and is thus detached. Further, as shown in fig. 5, the width of the cutout 32b is smaller than the diameter of the circular hole 32 a. In this case, as compared with the case where the width of the slit 32b and the diameter of the circular hole 32a are the same, the area of the fastening member 50 in contact with the other end portion 32 is increased, and therefore, the fastening force at the time of fastening is easily secured.
The communication direction that communicates the circular hole 32a with the cutout 32b is a deformation direction in which the floor panel 10 deforms when an impact acts from the front of the vehicle 1. The communication direction may not be parallel to the deformation direction, or may be inclined with respect to the deformation direction. Accordingly, when the floor panel 10 is deformed, the bracket 30 is easily detached, and therefore, the instrument panel cross member 20 connected to the bracket 30 can be effectively suppressed from being bent toward the passenger side.
< Effect of the present embodiment >
According to the above embodiment, the bracket 30 is provided with: a circular hole 32a through which a fastening member 50 (specifically, a bolt) fastening the bracket 30 to the floor panel 10 is inserted; and a cutout 32b communicating with the circular hole 32 a.
According to the above configuration, when the floor panel 10 is deformed by an impact load, the fastening member 50 inserted into the circular hole 32a moves relative to the notch 32b, and the bracket 30 falls off from the floor panel 10. The bracket 40 having the same configuration as the bracket 30 is also detached from the floor panel 10. Thus, the brackets 30 and 40 detached from the floor panel 10 are less likely to be pulled by deformation of the floor panel 10 and to be bent toward the passenger side. As a result, the passenger space can be suppressed from narrowing.
In the above description, the width of the notch 32b is smaller than the diameter of the circular hole 32a, but the present invention is not limited thereto. For example, the width of the cutout 32b may be the same size as the diameter of the circular hole 32 a.
In the above description, the vehicle 1 is a truck, but is not limited thereto. For example, the vehicle 1 may be a bus.
The present invention has been described above with reference to the embodiments, but the scope of the present invention is not limited to the scope described in the above embodiments. It will be apparent to those skilled in the art that various changes and modifications can be made to the above embodiments. Such modifications and improvements can be included in the scope of the present invention, and are apparent from the following claims.
