Detailed Description
The technical solution in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the accompanying drawings in the embodiments of the present invention.
In each embodiment of the invention, the sudden flow condition of a terminal such as a mobile phone can be effectively identified, the reminding user is further informed in real time, the speed limit can be finished by guiding the user while reminding, a speed limit means is provided for the user, and the abnormal flow is prevented from being continuously generated when the sudden abnormal flow is generated and consumed by the mobile phone, so that the generation of huge flow cost is avoided. The following detailed description of various embodiments of the invention refers to the accompanying drawings.
Fig. 1 is a data traffic monitoring method shown in an embodiment of the present invention, where the method is implemented by a traffic management platform, where the traffic management platform may be composed of one or more servers, and the traffic management platform cooperates with the PCRF to complete a traffic monitoring reminding task of a terminal, and the method includes:
s101, issuing a preset flow monitoring strategy to a Policy and Charging Rule Function (PCRF);
s102, receiving data traffic used by the user terminal, which is reported by the PCRF executing the traffic monitoring policy;
s103, judging whether the data traffic belongs to burst traffic or not according to a preset rule.
Specifically, the issuing of the preset traffic monitoring policy to the policy and charging rule function unit PCRF includes: and responding to a first request sent by the PCRF for monitoring the traffic used by the user terminal, and issuing a preset traffic monitoring threshold value to the PCRF.
Here, when monitoring terminal traffic, the PCRF sends a first request for monitoring user terminal usage traffic to the traffic management platform, and the traffic management platform returns a preset traffic monitoring threshold to the PCRF. The PCRF acquires the internet traffic of a user terminal through a packet data GateWay (PGW, PDN GateWay)/GateWay GPRS Support Node (GGSN, GateWay GPRS Support Node), and reports the data traffic used by the user terminal to a traffic management platform; the flow monitoring threshold is set by a user according to the flow using condition of the user in a self-defined mode or set by an operator according to the flow package grade of the user.
The PCRF comprises a policy control decision and a flow charging control-based function, provides a network control function related to service data flow detection, gate control, quality of service (QoS) and flow charging (except credit control) for the PCEF, and can generate a control rule and issue the control rule to the PCEF for execution by taking multiple dimensions such as service, users, positions, accumulated usage, access types, time and the like as trigger conditions. The PCRF and the PCEF may refer to the prior art, and are not described in detail.
The receiving of the data traffic used by the user terminal, which is reported by the PCRF executing the traffic monitoring policy, includes: and receiving the data traffic used by the user terminal reported by the PCRF when the data traffic used by the user terminal reaches the preset traffic monitoring threshold.
Specifically, after the user terminal is online, requesting to establish a bearer to the PGW/GGSN, and the PGW/GGSN receives the terminal request, creating a Gx session and applying for a PCC rule to the PCRF; and the PCRF sends a default PCC rule to the PGW/GGSN after acquiring the preset traffic monitoring threshold value, the user terminal normally accesses the Internet, the PGW accumulates all Internet traffic of the user, and when the data traffic used by the user terminal reaches the preset traffic monitoring threshold value, the data traffic is immediately reported to the PCRF, and the PCRF notifies the traffic management platform of the report.
Further, the determining, according to a preset rule, whether the data traffic belongs to a burst traffic includes: calculating the time interval of the data traffic reported by the PCRF, and comparing the time interval with a preset time interval; and when the time interval is less than or equal to a preset time interval, the data flow belongs to burst flow, and reminding information is sent to the user terminal.
Specifically, the traffic management platform calculates a time interval for the user terminal to report the data traffic by using the PCRF, that is: and calculating the time length spent by the user terminal to use the data traffic of the preset traffic monitoring threshold value.
When the time length spent by the user terminal for using the data traffic of the preset traffic monitoring threshold size is less than or equal to the preset time length, the method comprises the following steps: when the duration corresponding to the traffic monitoring limit set by the user is not reached, the set traffic monitoring limit is generated, that is, a large data traffic is consumed within a short time interval, the traffic management platform considers that a burst traffic is generated, and immediately sends a burst traffic reminding message to the user terminal, for example, a short message or a reminding message in a third-party Application (APP) mode is provided for the user. The preset time interval, that is, the preset time length, may be one day or more, one hour or more, or one minute or more, which is not particularly limited, and may be set by a person skilled in the art according to specific situations.
In the embodiment of the invention, the traffic information is directly acquired from the PCRF at the network side, so that the traffic statistics is more accurate, when the mobile terminal generates sudden abnormal traffic consumption, the sudden traffic condition of the terminal such as a mobile phone can be effectively identified, the actual data traffic can be more accurately counted and the reminding user can be informed in real time, and the data traffic can be monitored at the terminal side without the need of installing specific software by the user, so that the traffic statistics method is suitable for all people and improves the user experience.
In some examples, the traffic management platform may further accumulate the traffic data reported by the PCRF to obtain a total traffic used by the user in the current month, and generate a package traffic reminder according to the monthly package traffic information provided by the user. Furthermore, the flow management platform can push flow value-added product information to the user to guide the user to consume and select when sending the burst flow prompt or the package flow prompt.
Fig. 2 is another data traffic monitoring method shown in the embodiment of the present invention, where the method is implemented by a traffic management platform, and while or after sending a notification message to a user terminal, the method includes:
s201, responding to a second request sent by the PCRF for controlling the internet surfing rate of the user terminal;
s202, returning a preset speed limit strategy to the PCRF; the preset speed limit strategy is used for limiting the Internet access speed of the user terminal by the PCRF.
Specifically, when speed limiting of the internet access speed of the terminal is performed, the PCRF sends a second request for controlling the internet access speed of the user terminal to the traffic management platform, and the traffic management platform returns a preset speed limiting policy to the PCRF. And the PCRF issues the preset speed limit strategy to the PGW/GGSN, and the PGW/GGSN executes the preset speed limit strategy to limit the internet access speed of the user terminal.
After the user terminal is on line, requesting to establish a bearer to the PGW/GGSN, and the PGW/GGSN receives the terminal request and establishes a Gx session; and after the PCRF acquires the preset speed limit strategy from the traffic management platform, the preset speed limit strategy is issued to the PGW/GGSN, the user normally surfs the internet, and the PGW executes the speed limit strategy on the user terminal to limit the internet surfing speed of the user to a specified value.
Illustratively, the preset speed limit strategy is determined according to a speed limit grade preset by a user, and different speed limit grades correspond to different internet access speeds. And after acquiring the preset speed limit strategy from the traffic management platform, the PCRF converts the speed limit grade preset by the user into the corresponding internet access speed, transmits the speed limit grade to the PGW/GGSN and executes the specific speed limit strategy. The higher the speed limit level preset by the user is, the larger the corresponding internet speed is, or the higher the speed limit level preset by the user is, the smaller the corresponding internet speed is, which is not limited, and a person skilled in the art can set the speed limit level according to specific situations. In a specific implementation, for example, a correlation correspondence table for storing the speed limit level and the internet access rate may be established in advance, and the conversion between the speed limit level and the corresponding internet access rate may be realized according to a table look-up manner.
Fig. 3 shows another data traffic monitoring method according to an embodiment of the present invention, where the method is implemented by a traffic management platform, and on the basis of the embodiment shown in fig. 2, the method further includes:
s301, receiving a speed-limiting service opening instruction sent by a user, opening a speed-limiting service for the user on a user attribute storage logic entity (SPR) and storing user Subscription information; wherein, the speed limit service opening instruction at least carries the preset speed limit grade;
specifically, when the traffic management platform sends the burst traffic reminding information to the user terminal in a short message manner, the reminding short message content can carry a speed limit opening instruction, and a user can manually open the speed limit service in a short message reply manner. The user can also initiate an application for opening the speed-limiting service to the flow management platform through the third-party APP or the tent system. And after receiving a speed limit opening instruction of the user, the flow management platform interacts with the SPR and opens a speed limit service package for the user on the SPR. And speed limit grade information can be set in the speed limit opening instruction.
The SPR contains information related to all subscribers or subscriptions, and subscription/resolution information of the subscriber account invoicing, traffic reminding service and speed limiting service needs to be synchronized to the SPR. The SPR is matched with the PCRF to realize service control based on the subscription relationship for the user. For the SPR, reference may be made to the prior art, and details are not repeated.
S302, the speed limit service opened on the SPR is updated to local user service information, and a preset speed limit grade is recorded.
Correspondingly, the responding to the second request sent by the PCRF for controlling the internet surfing rate of the user terminal includes:
and responding to the second request sent by the PCRF after the PCRF inquires the user subscription information from the SPR and confirms the subscribed speed-limiting service.
Illustratively, after a speed limit service package is opened for the user on the SPR, the flow management platform updates local user service information and records a preset speed limit grade. And after the PCRF inquires user subscription information from the SPR and confirms that the speed-limiting service is subscribed, the PCRF sends a second request for controlling the internet access speed of the user terminal so as to locally acquire the preset speed-limiting strategy on the traffic management platform. Specifically, after the speed limit service package is successfully opened, the PCRF may obtain speed limit information of the user, that is, the preset speed limit level, from a traffic management platform, and notify a downstream network element PGW/GGSN to execute the speed limit policy.
The embodiment of the invention can guide the user to finish speed limiting when the terminal generates the burst abnormal flow to send the reminding information, provides a speed limiting means for the user, and avoids continuously generating the abnormal flow when the burst abnormal flow is consumed, thereby avoiding generating huge flow cost.
Fig. 4 is a diagram illustrating another data traffic monitoring method according to an embodiment of the present invention, where the method is implemented by a traffic management platform, and on the basis of the foregoing embodiments, before responding to a first request sent by a PCRF for monitoring a traffic used by a user terminal, the method further includes:
s401, receiving a flow reminding service opening instruction sent by a user, opening a flow reminding service for the user on an SPR and storing user subscription information; the flow reminding service opening instruction at least carries the preset flow monitoring threshold value and the preset time interval;
s402, updating the flow reminding service opened on the SPR to local user service information, and recording a preset flow monitoring threshold value and a preset time interval.
Correspondingly, the responding to the first request sent by the PCRF for monitoring the usage traffic of the user terminal includes: and responding to the first request sent by the PCRF after the PCRF inquires user subscription information from the SPR and confirms the subscribed traffic reminding service.
And after the PCRF inquires user subscription information from the SPR and confirms that the traffic reminding service is subscribed, the PCRF sends a first request for monitoring the traffic used by the user terminal so as to locally acquire the preset traffic monitoring threshold. It should be noted that, this embodiment is a flow step of opening a traffic reminding service, which is similar to the flow step of opening the speed limiting service, and reference may be made to the contents in the foregoing embodiments, which is not described again.
Further, on the basis of the above embodiment of opening the traffic reminding service and the speed limit service, the method further includes: receiving a service modification instruction sent by a user, modifying the opened flow reminding service or speed limit service in local user service information, and changing the preset flow monitoring threshold value and/or the preset time interval or changing the preset speed limit grade.
Specifically, in order to facilitate the user to modify the service data, for example, data such as a monitoring time interval of the traffic reminding service, a monitoring limit (i.e., a traffic monitoring threshold), a monthly package traffic or a speed limit level of the speed limit service, and the like are included. The user can send a service modification instruction to the traffic management platform through the tent system, the third party APP or the Short Message Gateway (SMGW) to modify the service data, and then the traffic reminding or the speed limit is executed according to the modified data.
Further, the method further comprises: receiving a service canceling instruction sent by a user, and canceling a flow reminding service or a speed limiting service for the user on an SPR; and updating local user service information, and deleting the corresponding flow reminding service or speed limiting service.
After receiving a service canceling instruction of a user, the traffic management platform interacts with the SPR, cancels a traffic reminding service or a speed limiting service package for the user on the SPR, and notifies a downstream network element PGW/GGSN to cancel a speed limiting strategy or cancel a traffic monitoring task after the successful cancellation.
The following describes various embodiments of the present invention in detail with reference to specific application examples.
Fig. 5 is a schematic view of an application scenario of the embodiment of the present invention.
