防水氧化钙粉,在钢水铁水炉外精炼脱硫时应 用。采用石蜡做防水材料,使其热熔至80~200度, 将氧化钙粉浸泡在石蜡的溶液中,待氧化钙粉的细孔 都浸满了石蜡后,取出放在140目的铜罗布上冷却 至40度以下即为产品。这种防水氧化钙粉的防水 效果非常好。

Description

本发明是应用在钢水铁水出炉进行脱硫用的一种防水氧化钙粉。
近年来,钢铁炉外精炼,国际上出现了往氧化钙粉中以机械混合的方式,掺入5~15%的碳粉,然后将这种氧化钙粉吹到钢水或铁水内进行炉外脱硫。这种机械混合使氧化钙粉与碳粉混合不均匀,影响使用效果。
本发明的目的是克服上述氧化钙粉使用效果不好的缺点,提供一种防水性能好的防水氧化钙粉。
本发明的目的是这样实现的。采用石蜡做防水材料,使其在容器中热熔至80~200度,将氧化钙粉浸泡在石蜡的溶液中,使氧化钙粉的细孔浸满石蜡,然后取出放在140目的铜罗布上,冷却至40度以下即是防水氧化钙粉的成品。石蜡占防水氧化钙粉重量比为15~20%。防水氧化钙粉化学成份重量比:氧化钙是70~75%,碳酸钙是5~10%,碳是10~15%,二氧化硅<3.0%,粒度范围是0.1~1.0mm,防水率在95%以上。
由于采用石蜡做防水材料,并用浸泡的物理的方法使氧化钙粉的细孔都浸满了石蜡,所以才能使氧化钙粉具有很好的防水效果。本发明防水氧化钙粉在冷水中浸泡一年不粉化,在70度以下的热水中浸泡一年也不粉化。便于运输、保管,而且成本很低。使用中没有粉尘,安全。在钢铁炉外精炼脱硫使用本发明时,氧化钙粉与石蜡在萤石粉存在下,于冶炼温度的铁水中,发生如下化学反应:
生成碳化钙,而碳化钙的脱硫率比氧化钙粉高20%以上。
实施例:20kg石蜡在容器中热熔至100度时,将80kg氧化钙粉浸泡在石蜡的溶液中,使氧化钙粉的细孔浸满石蜡后取出,放在140目的铜罗布上冷却至40度以下即为产品。防水氧化钙粉的成份比是:氧化钙74%,碳酸钙9%,碳15%,二氧化硅2%。

Claims (1)

1、一种防水氧化钙粉,其特征在于将氧化钙粉浸在温度为80~200度的石蜡中,氧化钙粉的细孔浸满石蜡后,取出放在铜罗布上冷却至40度以下;石蜡占防水氧化钙粉重量比为15~20%;其化学成份重量比:氧化钙是70~75%,碳酸钙是5~10%,碳是10~15%,二氧化硅<3.0%,粒度范围是0.1~1.0mm,防水率95%以上。
