技术领域
本发明涉及形成为具备口部和主体部的瓶状,并且在主体部具备减压吸收板的合成树脂制容器及其制造方法。
背景技术
以往,作为收纳果汁饮料或茶等饮料的容器,使用由合成树脂材料形成为具备口部和主体部的瓶状的合成树脂制容器(例如PET瓶)。
在将这样的合成树脂制容器(以下,仅称为“容器”)用于收纳果汁饮料等饮料的用途的情况下需要对内容液进行杀菌。因此,内容液向该容器的填充通常是利用称为将内容液以加热到预定的温度(例如,85℃以上)的状态填充到容器中的热填充(hot fill)的手法而进行的。例如,在利用空气吹塑成型将容器进行成型的情况下,在将容器成型之后,将加热到预定的温度的内容液填充到该容器内。而且,在该填充后在口部安装盖,接着在冷却工序中冷却到室温。
然而,当将热填充了内容液的容器冷却时,在该冷却时容器内的内容液和/或空气的体积减少,由此可能在容器内产生减压而使主体部凹陷变形。因此,对于用于伴随热填充的用途的容器,在其主体部设置减压吸收板,通过减压吸收板的变形来吸收在容器内产生的减压,抑制主体部凹陷变形(例如参照专利文献1)。
另外,作为形成容器的方法,还存在通过液体进行吹塑成型的方法(液体吹塑成型)。在利用该液体吹塑成型将容器成型的同时向该容器内填充内容液的情况下,将加热到预定温度的液体以预定压力供给到预塑形坯,由此利用该液体,将预塑形坯成型为预定形状的容器,另外,在该容器内填充杀菌完毕的内容液。

然而,在利用以往的空气吹塑成型形成的容器和利用液体吹塑成型形成的容器中,存在上述冷却时的变形举动不同的情况,即使在由液体吹塑成型形成的容器的主体部设置有减压吸收板的情况下,也存在无法充分地抑制主体部沿周向不均匀地变形等的该主体部的变形的问题。
本发明是鉴于这样的课题而完成的,其目的在于提供即使在利用液体吹塑成型热填充内容液的情况下,也能够充分地抑制在主体部产生的减压变形的合成树脂制容器及其制造方法。
技术方案
本发明的合成树脂制容器的特征在于,是形成为具备口部和主体部的瓶状,并且在上述主体部具备减压吸收板的合成树脂制容器,上述主体部的密度为1.3695g/cm3以上,且上述主体部的横向的结晶取向度相对于纵向的结晶取向度和上述横向的结晶取向度的合计值的比例小于44%。
本发明的合成树脂制容器在上述构成中,可以构成为上述主体部形成为截面大致圆形。
本发明的合成树脂制容器在上述构成中,可以构成为在上述主体部沿周向等间隔地并列设置有六片上述减压吸收板。
本发明的合成树脂制容器在上述构成中,可以由聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯制成。
本发明的合成树脂制容器的制造方法的特征在于,通过向由热塑性树脂形成为有底筒状的预塑形坯,以预定压力供给加热到预定温度的液体,从而对该预塑形坯进行液体吹塑成型而制造上述合成树脂制容器。
发明效果
根据本发明,能够提供即使在利用液体吹塑成型热填充内容液的情况下,也能够充分地抑制在主体部产生的减压变形的合成树脂制容器及其制造方法。

以下,参照附图更具体地例示说明本发明的一个实施方式的合成树脂制容器。

图1所示的合成树脂制容器1用于收纳例如果汁饮料或茶等饮料的用途,是具备圆筒状的口部2、经由肩部3连接于口部2的主体部4以及封闭主体部4的下端的底部5的瓶状。
主体部4是截面大致圆形,即大致圆筒形状,将主体部4连接到口部2 的肩部3形成为大致穹顶状。
在主体部4沿周向等间隔地并列设置有六片减压吸收板6。图中仅示出了三片减压吸收板6,但在主体部4的背侧也同样地设置有三片减压吸收板6。
这些减压吸收板6分别形成为沿纵向(图中上下方向)延伸的大致长方形,并且相对于主体部4的外周面朝向该主体部4的内侧而凹陷。而且,这些减压吸收板6在液体的填充后以口部2被盖封闭的状态对液体(内容液) 进行冷却,在与此相伴产生了合成树脂制容器1的内部的减压时,与主体部4的其他部分相比优先沿凹陷方向变形而吸收该减压,由此能够抑制主体部4 的不正当的变形。
应予说明,减压吸收板6并不限于此,只要是在合成树脂制容器1的内部产生了减压时能够吸收该减压的构成即可,能够对其形状和/或片数、配置等进行各种变更。特别是,减压吸收板6能够构成为即使在合成树脂制容器 1的内部填充液体,也不朝向主体部4的径向外侧膨胀变形。即,虽然在利用空气吹塑成型形成的容器中,为了提高减压吸收效果,通常构成为使减压吸收板在填充内容液时发生膨胀变形,但是在利用液体吹塑成型形成的容器中,由于同时进行内容液的填充和容器的成型,所以在内容液的填充时没有使减压吸收板膨胀变形,因此作为减压吸收板能够采用不发生膨胀变形的更为简单的构成。
为了在加强主体部4的同时防止使减压吸收板6的变形在肩部3一侧发生,在肩部3与主体部4之间,上下并列地设置有两根上侧环状凹肋7。同样地,为了在加强主体部4的同时防止减压吸收板6的变形在底部5一侧发生,在主体部4与底部5之间,上下并列地设置有两根下侧环状凹肋8。并且,在口部2的下方部一体设置有颈环9。
口部2构成为能够安装用于封闭该口部2的盖(未图示)。在图示的情况下,在口部2的外周面设置有螺牙2a,能够通过将盖螺纹结合在该螺牙2a 而封闭口部2。应予说明,也可以构成为在口部2代替螺牙2a而设置环状突起,将具有底切形状的盖通过打塞固定于口部2。
该合成树脂制容器1例如可以由聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯(PET)制成。换言之,合成树脂制容器1可以构成为PET瓶。
另外,该合成树脂制容器1可以如下制造:利用本发明的一个实施方式的合成树脂制容器的制造方法、即对由热塑性树脂形成为有底筒状(大致试验管状)的预塑形坯(未图示)进行液体吹塑成型而进行制造。更具体而言,合成树脂制容器1可以通过将由热塑性树脂形成为有底筒状的预塑形坯加热到呈现延伸性的预定温度,向该加热后的预塑形坯以预定压力供给加热到预定温度的液体。在该情况下,在液体吹塑成型时作为用作加压介质的液体而使用最终作为制品而收纳于合成树脂制容器1的饮料等内容液,能够省略内容液向成型后的合成树脂制容器1的填充工序,使其制造工序和/或制造装置的构成简单化。
对于该合成树脂制容器1而言,其主体部4的密度为1.3695g/cm3以上,且主体部4的横向(Transverse Direction:TD方向)的结晶取向度相对于纵向(Machine Direction:MD方向)的结晶取向度和该横向的结晶取向度的合计值的比例小于44%。应予说明,结晶取向度的主体部4的纵向是图中上下方向,横向是沿主体部4的周向的方向。
通过这样的构成,该合成树脂制容器1即使在对加热到预定温度的内容液进行热填充的同时在口部2安装盖,接着在冷却工序中通过使该内容液冷却到例如室温而在该合成树脂制容器1的内部产生减压,也能够在通过减压吸收板6吸收该减压的同时使主体部4通过其本身的强度对抗减压,能够充分地抑制因热填充内容液而产生的主体部4的减压变形。
上述主体部4的密度基于JIS K 7112密度梯度管法进行测定。另外,主体部4的结晶取向度是通过将主体部4切成试件,利用由偏振光ATR FT-IR 法测定而得到的IR光谱中的在1410cm-1附近呈现的PET分子链中的苯环的面内弯曲振动和在1340cm-1附近呈现的CH2伸缩振动的吸光度的比率计算得到的。应予说明,结晶取向度是从上述试件的内面侧测定的值和从外面侧测定的值的平均值。
主体部4的密度以及主体部4的横向的结晶取向度相对于纵向的结晶取向度和该横向的结晶取向度的合计值的比例是例如通过对预塑形坯的形状、通过吹塑成型得到的预塑形坯向纵向和横向的延伸倍率、预塑形坯的加热温度、供给的液体的温度、成型模的温度、吹塑时间等的条件进行各种变更而设定为上述范围的。
实施例
为了验证本发明的效果,准备NO1~11的11种合成树脂制容器,所述合成树脂制容器分别利用液体吹塑成型形成为与图1所示的瓶相同的内容量500ml用的瓶状,并且主体部的密度以及主体部的纵向的结晶取向度和横向的结晶取向度相互不同,对这些合成树脂制容器评价有无因热填充内容液而产生的主体部的减压变形。应予说明,合成树脂制容器由聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯制成,在液体吹塑成型时填充于预塑形坯的液体的温度为85℃。另外,在液体吹塑成型后在口部安装盖,之后,冷却至室温后对主体部的减压变形的有无进行评价。
对于主体部变形的评价而言,使用游标卡尺等测定装置对主体部的外径尺寸针对沿该周向等间隔分开的三个方向进行测定,将这些三个方向的主体部的外径尺寸的最大值与最小值之差设为椭圆度,如果该椭圆度相对于上述三个方向的主体部的外径尺寸的平均值小于5%,则判断为主体部的变形得到了充分抑制,评价为○,如果椭圆度相对于上述三个方向的主体部的外径尺寸的平均值为5%以上,则判断为主体部的变形没有得到充分抑制,评价为×。应予说明,在本实施例中,在分别相邻的减压吸收板之间的柱状的部分,对主体部的三个位置的外径尺寸进行测定。将其评价结果示于表1。

如表1所示,对于主体部的密度为1.3695g/cm3以上,且主体部的横向 (TD)的结晶取向度相对于纵向(MD)的结晶取向度与该横向(TD)的结晶取向度的合计值的比例小于44%的NO2~NO4、NO6~NO11的合成树脂制容器(本发明的实施例的容器)而言,主体部的变形少,其评价为○。
与此相对,对于主体部的密度为1.3681g/cm3即小于1.3695g/cm3的NO1 的合成树脂制容器(比较例的容器)、以及主体部的横向(TD)的结晶取向度相对于纵向(MD)的结晶取向度和该横向(TD)的结晶取向度的合计值的比例为44.19%即44%以上的NO5的合成树脂制容器(比较例的容器)而言,主体部的变形大,其评价为×。
根据这些结果,可确认如本申请发明的合成树脂制容器那样,通过使主体部的密度为1.3695g/cm3以上,且主体部的横向的结晶取向度相对于纵向的结晶取向度和该横向的结晶取向度的合计值的比例小于44%,能够充分抑制因热填充内容液而在主体部产生的减压变形。
本发明不限于上述实施方式所述的构成,当然在不脱离其主旨的范围内能够进行各种变更。
例如,在上述实施方式中,作为本发明的合成树脂制容器1例示了图1 所示的形状,但只要是具有口部2和主体部4的瓶状,就能够对合成树脂制容器1的形状、容量甚至是大小进行各种变更。
另外,在上述实施方式中,本发明的合成树脂制容器1由聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯制成,但并不限于此,还可以由其他的合成树脂材料形成。
并且,认为本申请发明的合成树脂制容器1的构成也能够用于利用空气吹塑成型形成的合成树脂制容器。

Claims (3)

1.一种合成树脂制容器的制造方法,其特征在于,所述合成树脂制容器形成为具备口部和主体部的瓶状,并且在所述主体部具备减压吸收板,
所述合成树脂制容器的制造方法通过向由热塑性树脂形成为有底筒状的预塑形坯,以预定压力供给加热到预定温度的液体,而对该预塑形坯进行液体吹塑成型,从而制造出所述主体部的密度为1.3695g/cm3以上,且所述主体部的横向的结晶取向度相对于纵向的结晶取向度与所述横向的结晶取向度的合计值的比例小于44%的聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯制的合成树脂制容器。
2.根据权利要求1所述的合成树脂制容器的制造方法,其特征在于,将所述主体部形成为截面圆形。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的合成树脂制容器的制造方法,其特征在于,在所述主体部沿周向等间隔地并列设置有六片所述减压吸收板。
