The invention belongs to the technical field of pesticide preparations, and particularly relates to an insecticidal composition and a production method thereof, wherein the insecticidal composition comprises the following raw materials in percentage by mass: 10-25% of mepiquat chloride; 5-10% of quinalphos; 5-10% of sodium methyl cocoyl taurate; 30-50% of water; 25% -30% of an organic solvent; the insecticidal composition is a compound insecticide of the paichongding and the quinalphos, has obvious synergistic effect, can respectively delay the drug resistance of the paichongding and the quinalphos, and has small drug dosage; under the interaction of the sodium methyl cocoyl taurate, the paichongding and the quinalphos, the drug effect is further improved, and the composition is stable and is not easy to decompose; in the production method, the mepiquat chloride and the sodium methyl cocoyl taurate are heated and mixed firstly, and then the quinalphos is slowly added, so that the uniformity and the stability of the composition are ensured.

Background
The mepiquat chloride is a novel efficient, broad-spectrum and low-toxicity nicotine pesticide, is mainly used for preventing homoptera pests, and has good prevention and control effect on rice planthoppers; the mepiquat chloride has a unique structure, is a cis-structure different from most insecticides, is safe to the environment, people, livestock, natural enemies of pests and other beneficial organisms different from the existing nicotine insecticides, and particularly changes the condition that the nicotine insecticides are highly toxic to bees; the pests have no resistance to the pesticide, and the pesticide is environment-friendly.
Quinalphos has the functions of killing insects and mites, has the functions of stomach toxicity and contact poisoning, has no systemic and fumigation performance, has good permeability on plants, has a certain ovicidal effect, is high in degradation speed on the plants, and is short in residual effect period; is suitable for preventing and treating various pests on rice, cotton, fruit trees and vegetables.
However, the pesticide with single component is easy to generate drug resistance for a long time, and has certain limitation.

Preferably, the stirring rate of step 1 and step 2 is 60-70 rpm.
Preferably, the addition of the mixed solution of quinalphos in the step 1 into the mixed solution prepared in the step 1 is completed within 50-70 minutes by adopting a dropwise addition mode.

6. The pesticidal composition according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the addition of the mixed solution of quinalphos in step 1 to the mixed solution obtained in step 1 is carried out dropwise in 50 to 70 minutes.
