背景技术
用于输送医药物质之使用以及用于配制药品之流体使用的流体传送总成包括连接管部分的连接部分。连接部分可以是用于将两个管连接在一起的“T”配件、十字形配件或仅为线性配件。其它连接类型包括使管部分连接到流体传送总成的另一个功能性组件(如过滤器)的那些。通常,这些流体传送总成是经由机械连接件形成,所述机械连接件最常包含软管倒钩连接器。将软管或管道装配在软管倒钩连接器上,随后将扎带(或以机械方式使管紧固到连接器的其它构件)附连在管道和软管倒钩上。这些机械连接件主要用以将管道锁定就位并防止其从软管倒钩连接器滑落,然而,初级密封是经由软管倒钩和管道的接口提供。在其它流体传送总成中,连接件是经由通常称为包覆模制的工艺形成。将待连接的管道放置在模具中,且其内孔通常经由可拆除的内部组件支撑,之后完成模制工艺以形成包覆模制件,并且通常拆除内部支撑件。与此方法相关的挑战在于内部支撑件限制了可被应用到的应用。也常常难以将管在模制设备中精确对准以恰当地形成包覆模制零件,并且操作一般限制了制造灵活性。
发明内容

具体实施方式
在第一实例实施例中,本公开涉及一种通过使用“T”连接器或配件(分别地或共同地称为“配件”)将三个管或导管连接在一起而形成的流体传送总成。然而,应了解,本公开并未仅使用“T”配件连接三个管来限制总成使用。在其它实例中,线性配件可用于连接两个管,或十字形配件可用于连接四个管,或其它多路连接器配件用于连接多个管。在图1A、1B、1C和1D中所示的一个实例实施例中,使用“T”配件10(“配件”)。配件包括三个带倒钩的端部12、14、16,且亦包括定位特征18,如从配件的主体20延伸的凸部。凸部并未延伸到配件的流体流动路径22中,如图1C中可见。每一个倒钩端部具有朝着或对着其相应端部30而从较大直径26渐缩到较小直径28的外表面24。应注意,在一个实例实施例中,配件也可以在没有渐缩外表面的情况下(确切地说,在没有倒钩的情况下)起作用。换句话说,在一些实施例中,倒钩不是必需的。
将凸缘32、34或角撑板附接到配件。在一个实例实施例中,第一凸缘34沿着配件的线性部分附接,并且两个相对的“L”形凸缘32附接在配件的水平部分与垂直部分之间。在一个实例实施例中,凸缘32、34是板状部件。凸缘形成止动件并且因此,可具有除板状以外的形状。
为了装配总成,将管36、38、40放置在其相应带倒钩的端部上,直到管的端部37、39、41邻接抵靠凸缘32和34的端部,如图2中所示。随后将连接件放置到注射模制设备模具42中,使得凸部18接纳在模具(图3)中的互补凹陷44中。凸部使配件在模具内对准,使得当在模具中形成包覆模制件48时,将在每一个管端部和相应配件端部上延伸一所需量,如例如图2中所示。因此,每种类型的配件可在模具中精确对准以制造适当大小的包覆模制件。就这一点来说,具有适当定位特征的标准配件可用于在所连接的所有管的相同部分上反复制造具有相同尺寸的相同包覆模制件。
包覆模制件是通过注射模制而形成。使用所属领域中已知的方法,将经加热的材料注射到模具中以形成包覆模制件。在一个实例实施例中,材料可以是热塑性弹性体(TPE)或聚丙烯。
在一个实例实施例中,刚性配件还可以由聚丙烯或聚乙烯制成。在另一个实例实施例中,配件可以由TPE制成。在一个实例实施例中,管可以由热塑性弹性体(TPE)材料制成。在包覆模制工艺期间,来自形成包覆模制件的注射材料的热量足以在管与其相应包覆模制件之间,以及刚性配件端部与其相应包覆模制件之间产生永久或明显永久的热粘结。来自注射材料的热量足以至少部分熔融管道和/或配件的至少一外表面部分,其连同注射材料一起形成热粘结。此热粘结使得包覆模制件成为管与配件之间的连接器。一旦包覆模制已发生,就将总成50从模具中移出并备用,并且在一个实例实施例中,无需另外后处理。
在一个实例实施例中,在适当位置形成具有凸缘32、34的配件。换句话说,凸缘是与配件一体形成或可以通过对配件的外表面作机械加工来形成。在其它实例实施例中,凸缘可单独形成并例如通过粘结(如粘合剂粘结)或焊接而附接到配件上。如本文所用的焊接是指已知焊接工艺,如热焊接工艺,其包括但不限于热板焊接、热脉冲焊接和感应加热。其它焊接工艺包括超声波焊接和摩擦焊接。焊接工艺生成足够的热量以熔融在进行焊接的位置处正被焊接的零件的材料。所生成的热量足以熔融正被焊接的零件的材料以供互混的其它工艺也视为焊接工艺。因此,如本文所用的“焊接”是指用于接合塑料的所有焊接工艺。
在另一个实例实施例中,配件60可用于连接较大直径管62与较小直径管64(图4A和4B)。同样,从配件60延伸有定位特征,如凸部68。配件还包括相对凸缘70(图4A、4B、5A、5B、5C和5D)。如前所述,两个直径管道在配件的其相应带倒钩的端部74、76上滑动,直到其邻接凸缘70。随后将具有管道的配件放置到模制设备模具中,并将凸部68装配在模具内的相应凹陷内,使配件在模具内精确对准,从而使得包覆模制件80在精确位置处且以管62、64的一精确量形成。在其它实例实施例中,在配件上形成凹陷代替凸部18、68,并且在模具中形成相应凸部代替凹陷48。就这一点来说,模具凸部将接纳在配件凹陷中。
在另一个实例实施例中,包覆模制件100在每一个管道102的端部,如例如图6中所示,使用熟知方法包覆模制的。如前所述,包覆模制件可以由TPE或聚烯烃(如例如聚丙烯或聚乙烯)形成。管道可以由热塑性弹性体(TPE)制成。附接有管道的每一个包覆模制件可随后焊接到刚性配件104,如例如聚丙烯模制的配件104。在另一个实例实施例中,配件104可以由TPE材料制造。配件104可以是图6中所示的“T”连接器。在另一个实例实施例中,连接器可以是用于连接两个管道的线性连接器,或可以是用于将多个管道连接在一起的十字形连接器或任何其它类型的连接器,或将管道连接到流体传送总成的另一个功能性组件(如例如过滤器、压力计、传感组件、生物容器等)的部件。
在示出的示例性实施例中,每一个包覆模制件100是使用已知方法(如注射模制)在其相应管道102的端部106上模制的。包覆模制件粘结于其相应管道,并且在示例性实施例中,热粘结于其相应管道。就这一点来说,每一个包覆模制件100包括较大直径内表面108和较小直径内表面110,从而界定它们之间的肩部112。较大直径外表面110与管道的外表面114交界。在一个实例实施例中,较小直径内表面110具有与管道的内表面116相同的直径。虽然包覆模制件的较小直径内表面的直径和管道内表面的直径在一个实施例中是不相同的,但是在一个实例实施例中,它们优选的是相同的以允许平稳过渡并由此在两者之间流动。在一个实例实施例中,配件104的每一个端部118与包覆模制件100的端部120互补。换句话说,配件的内表面122的直径与配件的较小直径内表面110的直径相同。类似地,接近端部120的包覆模制件的外表面124的直径与配件端部120的外表面126的直径相同。包覆模制件100与其附接的相应管道102一起焊接到配件的端部118。
在一个实例实施例中,在延伸到端部120的包覆模制件的内表面处,和在延伸到端部118的配件的内表面处,形成缓解区132。考虑到在焊接工艺期间的回熔,通过增加内表面直径一线性长度以形成缓解区,以使得当整个焊缝形成时,形成跨越包覆模制件的内表面和配件的内表面的大体上平滑的内表面。在一个实例实施例中,对于管道壁厚度204的至多一半的长度,内表面直径增加了管道壁厚度204的至多一半,以形成缓解区。如图7中所示,由于缓解区之故,使用标准热工艺实现焊接,形成了热焊缝134和一体的流体路径136而无需另外后处理。
在另一个实例实施例中,包覆模制件可具有渐扩至较大直径区段或端部140的较小直径内表面区段138,如例如图8和9中所示。较大区段端部140与配件142的端部144互补。包覆模制件的端部140焊接到配件的端部144,从而允许使用配件142将较小直径管道146耦接到较大直径管道148。如先前实施例所述,较大直径管道连接到配件。在另一个实例实施例中,又一个较大直径管道可装配有包覆模制件,其内表面的直径朝着其端部而减小。就这一点来说,直径减小的端部焊接到配件,从而允许甚至较大直径管道连接到较大直径管道148。
在另一个实例实施例中,具有包覆模制件的管道附接到配件151,如图10A、10B、10C和10D中所示。在图10A中所示的实例实施例中,十字形配件用于耦接四个管道(两个较大直径管道154和两个较小直径管道184)。然而,这一实例实施例可用于连接具有相同或不同直径的管道。在示出的实例实施例中,每一个包覆模制件150包括相对该管道154、184界定的凸部152。凸部是通过形成凹陷来界定,而所述凹陷界定出如环形表面153的表面。凹部156在配件151中界定为接纳凸部152。在示出的实例实施例中,凹部156的包覆模制件直径158大于凸部152的外径160。在示出的实例实施例中,凹部156包括外部较深部分162和浅内部部分164。浅内部部分的直径168相当于凸部的外径160。就这一点来说,当凸部插入到凹部中时,将凸部的端面170对准以邻接抵靠凹部的浅内部部分164的端面163。此外,凸部的长度172略微大于凹部156的外部较深部分162的长度174。就这一点来说,当包覆模制件的凸部端面170邻接凹部端面163时,间隙165界定在配件的边缘端面174与包覆模制件的端面153之间。一旦包覆模制件邻接配件,就在端面153与凹部的外部较深部分的端面169之间界定出缓解区167。就这一点来说,在热焊接期间,任何过剩的焊接材料接纳在间隙165和缓解区167内,由此防止焊接材料溢流或使焊接材料溢流减到最少。
在另一个实例实施例中,相较于外部凹部162比凹部156的浅内部部分164更深,外部凹部可具有相同深度或可以更浅,以作为替代。在又一个实例实施例中,凹部可以一直延伸跨越整个配件,以使得环形部分176不界定成环绕该凹部156。环形凹槽180可以界定在包覆模制件的外表面上,从而允许搬动包覆模制件并且用于定位到配件上。
如图10B和10D中所示,具有相同接口特征的包覆模制件,如包覆模制件182,可用于将较小直径管道184连接到配件。应了解,在其它实例实施例中,包覆模制件和配件的端部几何结构可以颠倒,以使得配件端部装配到包覆模制件中。在其它实例实施例中,配件的端部几何结构可以在配件的端部作为包覆模制件的一部分而形成。换句话说,配件可具有多个区段或零件。
在图6中所示的实例实施例中,包覆模制件沿着大于管道壁厚度204的纵向距离200与管道重叠。在一个实例实施例中,距离200为或约为壁厚度204的四倍。在一个实例实施例中,包覆模制件的总长度206也大于管道壁厚度204。在一个实例实施例中,包覆模制件的总长度206等于或约等于壁厚度204的八倍。然而,其范围可达到比那更长或更短的长度。在图10C中所示的一个实例实施例中,包覆模制件延伸超过管道达到长度210,其大于管道壁厚度212。在一个实例实施例中,它延伸超过管道壁达到管道壁厚度的四倍或约四倍。在一个实例实施例中,凸部152从表面153轴向延伸约等于或大于凸部152的厚度216的0.25倍的一距离(长度)172。在一个实例实施例中,凸部152的长度172约等于凸部的厚度216加上约0.030英寸。在示出的实例实施例中,延伸超过管道的包覆模制件区段的厚度218约等于或等于管道的管道壁厚度212。在一个实例实施例中,包覆模制件的厚度约等于或大于管道壁212厚度的至少一半。在另一个实例实施例中,凹部156的较深部分162沿着径向距离220延伸,而所述径向距离为凸部152的厚度216的至少约0.25倍。在一个实例实施例中,其为凸部厚度216的约0.75倍。

在图6至11B中所公开的实例实施例中,包覆模制件材料可以由TPE或聚丙烯形成,配件是由配件聚丙烯、聚乙烯或TPE形成,并且管道可以由TPE制成。在其它实例实施例中,可以使用允许热焊接和/或热粘结的其它材料。
结合图6至11B中所示的实例实施例,可用包覆模制件形成具有特定内表面直径和外径的标准管道大小的特定长度并储存,且随后可根据需要焊接到配件,而无需一定要在连接的管道和配件上形成包覆模制件。在实例实施例中,连接器或配件还可以通过注射模制工艺形成。
在另一个实例实施例中,从一个管道延伸的一个包覆模制件100可以直接焊接到从另一个管道延伸的另一个包覆模制件100,以便在不使用连接器或配件的情况下将这两个管道连接在一起。
虽然已就有限数目的实施例描述本发明,但是可得益于本公开的所属领域的技术人员应了解,可以设计出不脱离如本文所公开的本发明的范围的其它实施例。本发明还定义在以下权利要求书中。

Claims (13)

1.一种使管道附接到配件的方法,包含:
在所述管道的端部上形成包覆模制件,所述包覆模制件具有第一区段及第二区段,所述第一区段具有环绕所述管道的端部部分的内表面,所述内表面具有第一直径,所述第二区段从所述第一区段延伸并朝着与所述管道相反的方向延伸超出所述管道的所述端部部分,所述第二区段具有内表面,所述第二区段的内表面具有接近所述第一区段的小于所述第一直径的第二直径;以及
将所述包覆模制件的所述第二区段焊接到所述配件的端部,从而允许流体流穿过所述管道和配件,其中所述第二区段的内表面用于接触所述流体流;
其中所述配件的端部包含最远的配件端面,并且其中所述第二区段包含最远的第二区段端面;其中焊接包含:使所述第二区段端面轴向邻接到所述配件端面,
其中形成所述包覆模制件包含:形成所述第二区段的内表面以具有第一部分和第二部分,所述第一部分具有所述第二直径,所述第二部分从所述第一部分延伸到所述第二区段端面且具有大于所述第二直径的第三直径,
其中所述配件包含用于接触所述流体流且具有第一部分和第二部分的内表面,所述配件的第一部分具有第一直径,所述配件的第二部分从所述配件的第一部分延伸到所述配件端面且具有大于所述配件内表面第一直径的第二直径,且
其中焊接包含:利用在所述焊接期间熔融的熔融材料,填充所述包覆模制件的所述第二部分和所述配件的所述第二部分中的至少一部分。
2.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其中所述管道包含具有直径且用于接触所述流体流的内表面;其中所述管道内表面直径,是与所述第二区段内表面的第二直径和所述配件内表面的第一直径相同。
3.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其中所述包覆模制件是由热塑性弹性体或聚丙烯中的至少一种形成,所述配件是由聚丙烯或聚乙烯中的至少一种制成,并且所述管道是由热塑性弹性体制成。
4.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其中所述管道具有直径且用于接触所述流体流的内表面,其中所述管道的内表面的直径等于所述第二直径。
5.一种管道总成,包含:
管道,包含在所述管道的端部上形成的包覆模制件;
包含端部的配件,所述端部包含最远的配件端面,其中所述包覆模制件焊接到所述配件的所述端部,从而允许流体流穿过所述管道到所述配件,其中所述包覆模制件包含第一区段和第二区段,所述第一区段具有环绕所述管道的端部部分的内表面,所述内表面具有第一直径,所述第二区段从所述第一区段延伸,朝着与所述管道相反的方向延伸超出所述管道的所述端部部分,并包含最远的第二区段端面,并且其中所述第二区段焊接到所述配件的所述端部,使所述第二区段端面轴向邻接到所述配件端面,其中所述第二区段具有内表面,所述第二区段的内表面具有接近所述第一区段的小于所述第一直径的第二直径,并且其中所述第二区段的内表面用于接触所述流体流;
其中所述第二区段的内表面被形成具有第一部分和第二部分,所述第一部分具有所述第二直径,所述第二部分从所述第一部分延伸到所述第二区段端面且具有大于所述第二直径的第三直径,
其中所述配件包含用于接触所述流体流且具有第一部分和第二部分的内表面,所述配件的第一部分具有第一直径,所述配件的第二部分从所述第一部分延伸到所述配件端面且具有大于所述配件内表面第一直径的第二直径,且
其中所述第二区段焊接到所述配件的所述端部是利用在所述焊接期间熔融的熔融材料,填充所述包覆模制件的所述第二部分和所述配件的所述第二部分中的至少一部分。
6.根据权利要求5所述的管道总成,其中所述配件是密封过滤器的一部分或耦接到所述密封过滤器,用于向这类过滤器提供流体流。
7.根据权利要求5所述的管道总成,其中所述配件是流体传送总成的组件的一部分或耦接到所述流体传送总成的组件,所述组件选自由过滤器、传感组件、压力计和生物容器组成的组件群组。
8.根据权利要求5所述的管道总成,其中所述包覆模制件是由热塑性弹性体或聚丙烯中的至少一种形成,所述配件是由聚丙烯或聚乙烯中的至少一种制成,并且所述管道是由热塑性弹性体制成。
9.根据权利要求5所述的管道总成,其中所述管道具有直径且用于接触所述流体流的内表面,其中所述管道的内表面的直径等于所述第二直径。
10.一种用于形成管道总成的方法,包含:
选择配件,所述配件具有第一端部和第二端部、与所述第二端部相比更接近于所述第一端部的第一凸缘、与所述第一端部相比更接近于所述第二端部的第二凸缘,和
定位特征;
将所述第一端部插入到第一管道中,直到所述第一管道邻接所述第一凸缘;
将所述第二端部插入到第二管道中,直到所述第二管道邻接所述第二凸缘;
将所述配件连同管道放置到模具中,使所述定位特征与所述模具内的定位特征对准;以及
模制包覆模制件,所述包覆模制件在所述第一管道、所述第一凸缘、所述第二凸缘和所述第二管道上延伸。
11.根据权利要求10所述的方法,其中所述第一凸缘和第二凸缘是同一凸缘的不同部分。
12.一种将管道附接到配件上的方法,包含:
在所述管道的端部上形成包覆模制件,所述包覆模制件具有环绕所述管道的端部部分的第一区段、从所述第一区段延伸并朝着与所述管道相反的方向延伸超出所述管道的所述端部部分的第二区段,及从所述第二区段朝着远离所述第一区段的方向延伸的环形的凸部,其中环形的所述凸部具有比所述第二区段的直径小的外径,所述第二区段的直径界定所述第二区段上从所述凸部横向延伸的环形表面,其中所述配件的端部包含凹部;
将所述凸部插入所述凹部中,其中在插入之后,所述环形表面位在所述凹部外侧并且面向所述凹部;以及
将所述包覆模制件的第二区段焊接到所述配件的端部,从而允许流体流穿过所述管道和配件,其中所述第二区段界定用于接触所述流体流的内表面。
13.根据权利要求12所述的方法,其中所述凹部包含第一较浅部分和从所述第一较浅部分径向朝外延伸的第二较深部分,其中插入所述凸部包含:插入所述凸部以邻接所述第一较浅部分。
