Description

Tobacco stem baking processing method using THT
Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of cigarette processing, in particular to a method for improving the quality of cut stems by baking and processing tobacco stems in a tobacco shred making process.
Background
The main components of the tobacco stems comprise cellulose, lignin, pectic substance, starch and protein, at present, the process flow shown in figure 2 is generally used in the tobacco stem processing process flow, the cut stems processed by the process flow, the pectic substance, the starch and the protein in the tobacco stems are not effectively converted, and the substances basically do not provide fragrance in the cigarette combustion and smoking process, and mainly generate irritation, wood gas, and residual bitterness and lingering tongue feeling in cavities.
To improve the quality of the cut stems, the chemical composition of the tobacco stems needs to be considered. The pectic substance, starch and protein in the tobacco stem can be converted into fragrant substances under the baking condition. Relevant researches show that under the condition of high temperature (160-220 ℃), starch substances in tobacco stems are subjected to gelatinization reaction and caramelization reaction, and protein is subjected to degradation reaction in the baking process to generate amino acid, and the amino acid and carbohydrate substances are subjected to Maillard reaction together to generate common aroma substances of tobacco. The pectic substance is decomposed and degraded at high temperature (160-220 deg.C) to generate various fragrant substances.
According to the theoretical research and the research result of our laboratory, the tobacco stems (10% -15%) with certain moisture can generate comfortable sweet fragrance and baking fragrance under the baking (160-220 ℃) condition, and the fragrance, the irritation and the aftertaste of the cut stems made of the baked tobacco stems are obviously improved. Meanwhile, the roasted tobacco stems are not recommended to be stored for a long time, because part of generated aroma substances are volatilized and oxidized after being stored for a long time, part of aroma is gradually lost, and the quality of the processed cut stems is reduced.
In addition, in the tobacco stem high-temperature baking process, the internal moisture is quickly vaporized to expand the tobacco stem cell structure, so that the loose degree of the internal expanded structure of the tobacco stem is improved, and further processing and quality improvement of the tobacco stem are facilitated.
In the existing cigarette processing process, the tobacco stems are roasted and dried in a threshing and redrying link, the link aims to dry the tobacco stems, chain plate type drying equipment is usually used as the drying equipment, the drying temperature is usually 80-120 ℃, the temperature condition for roasting and upgrading the tobacco stems cannot be achieved, meanwhile, the threshed and redried tobacco stems need to be stored for a long time after being roasted, and the stabilization and the maintenance of aroma substances after roasting are not facilitated.
THT (high temperature hot air baking roller) is a new tobacco baking device recently appearing and is mainly applied to baking of burley tobacco leaves after being added in the mixed type cigarette manufacturing process, the THT device is structurally characterized in that a rotary roller with steam heating and circulating hot air with a combustion furnace are adopted, the tobacco leaves gradually move backwards through the rotation of the roller after entering the roller, the tobacco leaves are simultaneously heated by the wall of the roller and the hot air passing through the roller, the temperature of the tobacco leaves can be raised to (160-220 ℃), and the tobacco leaves are baked and upgraded. Kunming cigarette factories have ever applied THT to the baking and quality improvement of inferior tobacco leaves. The application of THT to the baking quality improvement of tobacco stems has not been reported and implemented.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to provide a tobacco stem baking processing method using THT, which can convert pectic substance, starch and protein in the tobacco stem into fragrant substances through the processing of THT and improve the quality of the tobacco stem.
In order to solve the technical problems, the technical scheme of the invention is as follows:
a tobacco stem baking processing method using THT comprises the following steps:
1) feeding the tobacco stems as the incoming material quantitatively, screening the tobacco stems by using crushed stems, and feeding the tobacco stems into THT;
2) controlling the temperature of the THT hot air to 180 ℃, controlling the temperature of the cylinder wall to 160 ℃, and baking the tobacco stems;
3) the roasted tobacco stems enter a water tank type stem washing machine to be washed with hot water, and the water temperature for washing the stems is 60 ℃;
4) the washed tobacco stems enter a storage cabinet for storage for 6-24 h;
5) the tobacco stems are subjected to secondary moisture regain after storage, and the moisture regain of the tobacco stems is controlled to be 30% -33%;
6) storing the tobacco stems in a storage cabinet after secondary moisture regaining for 3-12 h;
7) quantitatively feeding the tobacco stems after secondary stem storage, and steaming the stems;
8) the steamed tobacco stalks immediately enter a stalk pressing machine to press stalks and then enter a stalk shredding machine to shred the stalks.
The invention has the beneficial effects that: the THT baking equipment is used for quickly heating the tobacco stems to 160-220 ℃, and partial substances in the tobacco stems are subjected to chemical reaction in the baking process through baking to generate fragrant substances, so that the quality of cut stems made of the tobacco stems is improved.
