Abstract

本发明实施例提供一种负载均衡方法及装置,其中方法包括:当用户设备UE处于同频双连接区域时,向所述UE发送双连接指令,所述双连接指令用于指示所述UE同时连接到宏基站和与所述宏基站相关联的目标小基站,所述同频双连接区域为对所述目标小基站的覆盖区域进行扩展得到的扩展区域;根据所述UE测量的所述目标小基站的信号强度确定所述UE的位置信息,并根据所述位置信息为所述UE分配服务基站。本发明实施例能够灵活、快速地实现对异构网中负载的调节,均衡异构网中的负载,提高小基站的利用率。
