Abstract

The invention provides an automatic updating method of a civil BIM (building information modeling) model, which comprises the following steps: establishing an original BIM civil model, and carrying out component coding; importing a CAD (computer-aided design) updating drawing of the updating model, and marking out the area to be changed by adopting a revised cloud line; identifying and revising a revision cloud line and an area to be changed; drawing information of an area to be changed is extracted and converted into a three-dimensional entity component with a specific code; modifying the specific code of the three-dimensional solid member to be the same as the code of the member of the corresponding part in the original BIM civil model; and replacing the components in the original BIM civil model by replacing the components with the same codes, and finishing the automatic updating of the original BIM civil model. The method has the function of automatically updating the BIM, does not need to re-model the whole civil BIM, can obviously save the labor cost and improve the use efficiency of the BIM.
