Description

一种背光模组及液晶显示装置
技术领域
本发明涉及显示技术领域,特别涉及一种背光模组及液晶显示装置。
背景技术
目前,手机、电脑和电视等液晶显示装置已经成为人们生活中的必需品。而在液晶显示装置中,发光二极管因其发热量低、耗电量小等优点,已逐渐成为主流光源。其中,又以蓝光发光芯片搭配黄光荧光粉作为白光发光二极管最为普遍。经过大量医学研究表明,长期暴露在波长低于460nm的短波蓝光下,会对眼睛造成损伤,导致病变。因此,减少液晶显示装置中的短波蓝光有利于保护用户的健康。
本申请的发明人在长期的研发中发现,目前减少短波液晶显示装置中的短波蓝光主要是配制防蓝光眼镜、在显示器上贴滤蓝光膜、通过软件调节蓝光占比,或者通过硬件改变蓝光峰值来实现,但是这些方法会导致亮度损失,显示颜色偏黄等问题,影响显示效果。
发明内容
本发明主要解决的技术问题是提供一种背光模组及液晶显示装置,能够在保持显示亮度和色度的同时有选择地实现低蓝光护眼。
为解决上述技术问题,本发明采用的一个技术方案是提供一种背光模组,包括:至少一第一发光单元,所述第一发光单元分别包括第一蓝光发光芯片;至少一第二发光单元,所述第二发光单元分别包括第二蓝光发光芯片,且所述第二蓝光发光芯片的发射峰值的波长大于所述第一蓝光发光芯片的发射峰值的波长;控制电路,用于获取由所述背光模组提供背光的液晶面板的显示画面的蓝光饱和度,并根据所述蓝光饱和度动态调整所述第一发光单元和第二发光单元的发光亮度。
为解决上述技术问题,本发明采用的另一个技术方案是提供一种液晶显示装置,包括上述的背光模组。
本发明通过在背光模组中设置两种发射波长不同的发光单元,并根据蓝光饱和度动态调整短波蓝光的输出量,在保持显示亮度和色度的同时有选择地实现低蓝光护眼。

下面将结合本发明实施例中的附图,对本发明实施例中的技术方案进行清楚、完整地描述。

至少一第一发光单元10和至少一第二发光单元20,其中,第一发光单元10分别包括第一蓝光发光芯片101;第二发光单元20分别包括第二蓝光发光芯片201,且第二蓝光发光芯片201的发射峰值的波长大于第一蓝光发光芯片101的发射峰值的波长;
可选的,第一发光单元10和第二发光单元20可以是LED(Light Emitting Diode,发光二极管)等可发光的封装体。
可选的,第一发光单元10和第二发光单元20可以分别通过第一蓝光发光芯片101和第二蓝光发光芯片201与荧光材料配合,发射白光作为背光模组的背光源。具体来说,第一蓝光发光芯片101和第二蓝光发光芯片201所产生的蓝光分别激发各自的荧光材料产生绿光、红光或黄光等激发光,并通过激发光与剩余蓝光进行混光而分别输出白光。
在其他实施例中,第一发光单元10和第二发光单元20还可以分别通过第一蓝光发光芯片101和第二蓝光发光芯片201与荧光材料配合,使第一发光单元10和第二发光单元20中的至少一个发光单元发射第一蓝光,至少一个发光单元发射第二蓝光,至少一个单元发射绿光,而其他发光单元发射红光,并再通过导光板、扩散板等光学元件进行混光而实现白光输出。或者,也可以通过第一发光单元10和第二发光单元20增加绿光发光芯片、红光发光芯片,或者增加独立的绿光发光单元、红光发光单元来实现白光输出。
控制电路30,用于获取由背光模组提供背光的液晶面板的显示画面的蓝光饱和度,并根据蓝光饱和度动态调整第一发光单元10和第二发光单元20的发光亮度。
可选的,控制电路30可以集成于柔性电路板上,以便于背光模组的安装。

其中,电子传输层为N型半导体,发光层为铟镓化合物,空穴传输层为P型半导体。第二蓝光发光芯片201的结构与第一蓝光发光芯片101相同,区别在于,第二蓝光发光芯片201的铟镓化合物的铟元素与镓元素的比例大于第一蓝光发光芯片101的铟镓化合物的铟元素与镓元素的比例,使得第二蓝光发光芯片201发出的光的波长大于第一蓝光发光芯片101发出的光的波长,其中,第一蓝光发光芯片101的发射峰值的波长为440nm-455nm,第二蓝光发光芯片201的发射峰值的波长为460nm-470nm。
可选的,衬底1011可以是蓝宝石(Al2O3)、硅(Si)或碳化硅(SiC)等材料,N型半导体可以是N型氮化镓(N-GaN)材料,铟镓化合物可以是铟氮化镓(InGaN)、磷化镓铟(InGaP)或铟砷化镓(InGaAs)等材料,P型半导体可以是P型氮化镓(P-GaN)材料。
第一发光单元10还包括荧光层102,第二发光单元20还包括荧光层202,荧光层102和荧光层202中包含可以被蓝光激发产生其他光的荧光材料。可选的,荧光层102包含第一黄光荧光材料,被第一蓝光发光芯片101发射的第一蓝光激发,产生第一黄光,与剩余第一蓝光进行混光而出射第一白光;可选的,荧光层202包含第二黄光荧光材料,被第二蓝光发光芯片201发射的第二蓝光激发,产生第二黄光,与剩余第二蓝光进行混光而出射第二白光;且第一白光和第二白光色坐标的X轴坐标值之间的差异和Y轴坐标值之间的差异均不大于0.015,以使得第一发光单元10和第二发光单元20发出的光不会产生较大的色偏。
可选的,第一发光单元10分别包括单个第一蓝光发光芯片101或至少两个并联连接的第一蓝光发光芯片101,即单晶结构、双晶结构或多晶结构;第二发光单元20分别包括至少两个并联连接的所述第二蓝光发光芯片,即双晶结构或多晶结构;第一发光单元10与第二发光单元20的数量比为1/2-2,其中,第二发光单元20内的第二蓝光发光芯片201的数量大于第一发光单元10内的第一蓝光发光芯片101的数量。
本实施例中的背光模组还包括控制电路30,用于获取由背光模组提供背光的液晶面板的显示画面的蓝光饱和度,并根据蓝光饱和度动态调整第一发光单元10和第二发光单元20的发光亮度。
本实施例中,控制电路30包括第一驱动电路301和第二驱动电路302,第一驱动电路301连接第一发光单元10,用于根据蓝光饱和度控制第一发光单元10的发光亮度,第二驱动电路302连接第二发光单元20,用于根据蓝光饱和度控制第二发光单元20的发光亮度。
具体的,当蓝光饱和度小于或等于预设的饱和度阈值时,控制电路30以第一模式控制第一发光单元10和第二发光单元20的发光亮度,第一模式为控制电路30将第一发光单元10的驱动电流设置成第一发光单元10的饱和电流,并将第二发光单元20的驱动电流设置成低于第二发光单元20的饱和电流(例如,饱和电流的1/2到2/3);当蓝光饱和度大于饱和度阈值时,控制电路30以第二模式控制第一发光单元10和第二发光单元20的发光亮度,第二模式为控制电路30关闭第一发光单元10或将第一发光单元10的驱动电流设置成小于第一发光单元10的饱和电流,并将第二发光单元20的驱动电流设置成第二发光单元20的饱和电流。由此使得第一发光单元10在第一模式下的发光亮度大于第一发光单元10在第二模式下的发光亮度,且第二发光单元20在第一模式下的发光亮度小于第二发光单元20在第二模式下的发光亮度。在其他实施例中,可以通过其他方式实现上述第一模式和第二模式的发光亮度效果。
进一步,当显示画面为白色画面,控制电路30以第三模式控制第一发光单元10和第二发光单元20的发光亮度,第三模式为控制电路30将第一发光单元10和第二发光单元20的驱动电流分别设置成各自的饱和电流。
可选的,饱和度阈值可以是40%、50%或60%,优选值为50%。
具体的,控制电路30还用于实时接收背光模组的外部环境光亮度,当外部环境光亮度大于预设的亮度阈值时,控制电路30以第三模式控制第一发光单元10和第二发光单元20的发光亮度,即将第一发光单元10和第二发光单元20的驱动电流分别设置成各自的饱和电流。
可选的,亮度阈值可以是1800lux(勒克斯)、2000lux或2200lux,优选值为2000lux。
本发明实施例通过在背光模组中设置两种发射波长不同的发光单元,并根据显示画面动态调整短波蓝光的输出量,在保持显示亮度和色度的同时有选择地实现低蓝光护眼。
参见图6和图7,本发明背光模组又一实施例包括上述背光模组实施例中的至少一第一发光单元10、至少一第二发光单元20和控制电路30。
可选的,第一发光单元10和第二发光单元20呈矩阵排列,形成直下式背光源100,与反射片600、扩散片700和增亮膜800等构成背光模组。
本发明实施例通过在直下式背光模组中设置两种发射波长不同的发光单元,并根据蓝光饱和度动态调整短波蓝光的输出量,省去导光板,减少背光模组的厚度和背光的损失,使发光面更均匀,在保持显示亮度和色度的同时有选择地实现低蓝光护眼。
参见图8,本发明液晶显示装置实施例包括上述的背光模组601以及设置于背光模组601上方的显示面板602。
本发明实施例通过在背光模组中设置两种发射波长不同的发光单元,并根据蓝光饱和度动态调整短波蓝光的输出量,在保持显示亮度和色度的同时有选择地实现低蓝光护眼。

Claims (10)

1.一种背光模组,其特征在于,包括:
至少一第一发光单元,每一所述第一发光单元包括第一蓝光发光芯片;
至少一第二发光单元,每一所述第二发光单元包括第二蓝光发光芯片,且所述第二蓝光发光芯片的发射峰值的波长大于所述第一蓝光发光芯片的发射峰值的波长;
控制电路,用于获取由所述背光模组提供背光的液晶面板的显示画面的蓝光饱和度,并根据所述蓝光饱和度动态调整所述第一发光单元和第二发光单元的发光亮度。
2.根据权利要求1所述的背光模组,其特征在于,
所述第一蓝光发光芯片和第二蓝光发光芯片的发光层分别包括铟镓化合物,其中所述第二蓝光发光芯片的所述铟镓化合物的铟元素与镓元素的比例大于所述第一蓝光发光芯片的所述铟镓化合物的铟元素与镓元素的比例。
3.根据权利要求1所述的背光模组,其特征在于,
所述第一发光单元分别包括单个所述第一蓝光发光芯片或至少两个并联连接的所述第一蓝光发光芯片,所述第二发光单元分别包括至少两个并联连接的所述第二蓝光发光芯片,其中所述第二发光单元内的所述第二蓝光发光芯片的数量大于所述第一发光单元内的所述第一蓝光发光芯片的数量。
4.根据权利要求1所述的背光模组,其特征在于,
所述第一蓝光发光芯片的发射峰值的波长为440nm-455nm,所述第二蓝光发光芯片的发射峰值的波长为460nm-470nm。
5.根据权利要求1所述的背光模组,其特征在于,
所述第一发光单元和所述第二发光单元分别包括由所述第一蓝光发光芯片和第二蓝光发光芯片激发的荧光材料,以使得所述第一发光单元和所述第二发光单元分别出射白光,且所述第一发光单元和所述第二发光单元的白光色坐标的X轴坐标值之间的差异和Y轴坐标值之间的差异均不大于0.015。
6.根据权利要求1所述的背光模组,其特征在于,
所述控制电路包括第一驱动电路和第二驱动电路,所述第一驱动电路用于根据所述蓝光饱和度控制所述第一发光单元的发光亮度,所述第二驱动电路用于根据所述蓝光饱和度控制所述第二发光单元的发光亮度。
7.根据权利要求1所述的背光模组,其特征在于,
当所述蓝光饱和度小于或等于预设的饱和度阈值时,所述控制电路以第一模式控制所述第一发光单元和第二发光单元的发光亮度,当所述蓝光饱和度大于所述饱和度阈值时,所述控制电路以第二模式控制所述第一发光单元和第二发光单元的发光亮度,其中所述第一发光单元在所述第一模式下的发光亮度大于所述第一发光单元在所述第二模式下的发光亮度,且所述第二发光单元在所述第一模式下的发光亮度小于所述第二发光单元在所述第二模式下的发光亮度。
8.根据权利要求7所述的背光模组,其特征在于,
在所述第一模式下,所述控制电路将所述第一发光单元的驱动电流设置成所述第一发光单元的饱和电流,并将所述第二发光单元的驱动电流设置成低于所述第二发光单元的饱和电流;在所述第二模式下,所述控制电路关闭所述第一发光单元或将所述第一发光单元的驱动电流设置成小于所述第一发光单元的饱和电流,并将所述第二发光单元的驱动电流设置成所述第二发光单元的饱和电流。
9.根据权利要求7所述的背光模组,其特征在于,
当所述显示画面为白色画面或所述背光模组的外部环境光亮度大于预设的亮度阈值时,所述控制电路以第三模式控制所述第一发光单元和第二发光单元的发光亮度,在所述第三模式下,所述控制电路将所述第一发光单元和所述第二发光单元的驱动电流分别设置成各自的饱和电流。
10.一种液晶显示装置,其特征在于,包括权利要求1-9任一项所述的背光模组。
