Abstract
提供水性醇酸内墙水漆及其制备方法。其中水性醇酸内墙水漆包含水性醇酸树脂乳液、内墙锐钛型钛白粉、羟乙基纤维素和增稠剂;其中水性醇酸树脂的支化度为50%‑85%。本发明的水性醇酸内墙水漆稳定性优异,同时成膜后的耐水性也优异。
Description
技术领域
本发明通常涉及涂料领域,具体地涉及耐水性能优异的水性醇酸内墙水漆及其制备方法。
背景技术
目前的醇酸树脂仍是以溶剂型为主,但是,随着经济的发展和环保的要求,将醇酸树脂水性化已成为发展趋势。
然而,水性醇酸树脂目前主要应用于工业水漆,工业水漆注重水漆的防腐、防锈等性能。与工业水漆不同,内墙水漆更注重环保、耐水、耐擦洗等性能。因此,对作为粘合剂的水性醇酸树脂要求更高。目前尚没有耐水性能优异的水性醇酸内墙水漆。
发明内容
为了解决上述技术问题,本发明的发明人在深入研究后发现通过选用特定的水性醇酸树脂,并且配合特定量的增稠剂得到的水漆具有优异的成膜耐水性。具体地,本发明包括以下内容。
本发明的一方面,提供水性醇酸内墙水漆,其包含水性醇酸树脂乳液、内墙锐钛型钛白粉、羟乙基纤维素和增稠剂;其中水性醇酸树脂的支化度为50%-85%,其中所述支化度通过下式计算:
其中“BP”是支化度,单位是百分数,“a”是每个分子中具有超过2个反应性基团的多官能单体的总当量,“b”是所有单体的总当量。
在某些实施方案中,基于1000重量份水性醇酸内墙水漆,增稠剂的量为4-7份和/或羟乙基纤维素的量为1-5份。
在某些实施方案中,所述水性醇酸内墙水漆进一步包含选自分散剂、消泡剂、润湿剂、重钙和防腐剂组成的组中的至少之一。
在优选的实施方案中,所述水性醇酸内墙水漆由下述成分组成:
水300-320份、内墙锐钛型钛白粉90-250份、羟乙基纤维素1-5份、分散剂2-10份、消泡剂2-10份、润湿剂1-5份、重钙200-580份、防腐剂0-5份、增稠剂4-7份、水性醇酸树脂乳液100-320份。
本发明的另一方面,提供水性醇酸内墙水漆的制备方法,其包括使用支化度为50%-85%的水性醇酸树脂作为成膜物质。

本发明中,名词术语既包括单数形式,也包括复数形式,除非上下文另行明确指出。本发明中所述的“至少之一”或“至少一种”不仅仅指包含“一个”或“一种”的情况,更重要的还包含“多个”或“多种”的情况。
如本发明所用,术语“内墙水漆”有时也称作“内墙水性涂料”、“内墙水性组合物”,是指粉刷在室内墙壁上的漆料或涂料。与粉刷在室外的外墙漆相比,其漆膜较软,耐水能力较弱。
如本发明所用,术语“水漆”是指分散或溶解于水性溶剂的涂料组合物。包括,但不限于水稀释性涂料和水分散涂料(或水分散性涂料)。作为水稀释性涂料是指后乳化乳液为成膜物配制的涂料,在施工中可用水来稀释。其中后乳化液是指使溶剂型树脂溶在有机溶剂中,然后在乳化剂的帮助下靠强烈的机械搅拌使树脂分散在水中形成的乳液。作为水分散涂料是指以合成树脂乳液为成膜物配制的涂料。乳液是指在乳化剂存在下,在机械搅拌的过程中,不饱和乙烯基单体在一定温度条件下聚合而成的小粒子团分散在水中组成的分散乳液。
如本发明所用,术语“支化度”通过下式计算:
其中“BP”是支化度,单位是百分数,“a”是每个分子中具有超过2个反应性基团的多官能单体的总当量,“b”是所有单体的总当量。C.J.Hawker,R.Lee,J.M.J.Frechet,J.Am.Chem.Soc.113,4583,1991中描述了利用NMR来描述支化度的分析方法,该支化度基于树枝状单元、端部单元和线性单元的测得数值。
若水性醇酸树脂的所有单体都是单官能和双官能的,则支化度必然为0%。另一方面,若水性醇酸树脂的所有单体的官能度都为3以上,则支化度必然为100%。随着多官能单体量增加,支化度也增大。本发明的水性醇酸树脂可通过适当的选择具有不同数量的官能团的单体作为原料而合成。
不受理论限制,发明人认为,本发明的水性醇酸树脂是两亲性的,即一端有亲油性,另一端有亲水性。在支化度较低的情况下,疏水性基团能更紧密地堆积在胶束内,同时亲水性基团能更紧密地堆积在胶束外。在成膜后水性醇酸树脂残留在漆膜内,支化度低的水性醇酸树脂在遇水后亲水基更容易与水作用,促使水在漆膜中更多地渗透、扩散和迁移,增大了吸水率。由此对得到的漆膜的耐水性产生不利影响。
基于此,本发明人发现,在水性醇酸树脂的支化度为50%以上,优选60%以上,更优选70%以上;另一方面,为90%以下,更优选85%以下的范围内时,以水性醇酸树脂乳液形成的水性漆在成膜后具有优异的耐水性。另一方面,如果支化度过高,会导致水漆的稳定性变差。
如本发明所用,术语“水性醇酸树脂”是指将醇酸树脂水性化得到树脂。醇酸树脂水性化的方法包括:
成盐法。最常见的是在醇酸树脂分子的侧链上引入大量的亲水基团(羧基)并用有机胺将其中和成盐以获得水溶性醇酸树脂或者水分散性醇酸树脂。例如采用偏苯三甲酸酐或均苯四酸酐为水性单体,通过一步法和两步法制备水溶性醇酸树脂,又如通过丙烯酸类单体与醇酸预聚物中的不饱和二元酸(顺丁烯二酸酐)、油脂上的共轭双键等发生自由基共聚合来实现醇酸树脂的水性化。
非离子基团法。即在醇酸树脂中引入非离子基团羟基和醚基的聚合物。例如,通过在醇酸树脂中引入聚乙二醇来实现醇酸树脂的水性化,又如在醇酸树脂中引入单烷氧基的聚乙二醇来实现醇酸树脂的水性化。
乳化剂法。采用外加小分子乳化剂来实现醇酸树脂的水性化。例如,以烷基酚聚氧乙烯醚、脂肪醇聚氧乙烯醚等作为醇酸树脂的乳化剂来实现醇酸树脂的水性化。
在某些实施方案中,水性醇酸树脂为多种具有不同支化度的树脂的混合物。本发明的水性醇酸树脂乳液有含量基于1000重量份水漆为100-320份,优选110-310份,例如120、125、130、150、200、250、300份等。如果含量超出该范围,则水漆稳定性会变差。
稳定的醇酸树脂乳液的一个有利特性是,不需要有机溶剂来制备稳定的醇酸树脂乳液。因此,可任选从稳定的醇酸树脂乳液中排除有机溶剂。因此在某些实施方案中,以稳定的醇酸树脂乳液的总重量为基准计,该稳定的醇酸树脂乳液包含等于或小于2重量%、具体是等于或小于1重量%、更具体是等于或小于0.5重量%的有机溶剂。在某些实施方案中,不包含有机溶剂。
如本发明所用,术语“耐水性”是指漆膜对水的作用的抵抗能力。其测定可采用本领域内通常使用的任何方法,包括,例如,常温浸水试验法、浸沸水试验法、色漆和清漆耐水性的测定浸水法。作为示例,本发明提供下述测定方法,即GB/T 1733-93漆膜耐水性测定法(常温浸水试验法)。
将试样浸入常温水或者沸水中,在达到规定的测试时间后通过观察漆膜表面变化现象,评定漆膜的耐水性能。
除另有规定外,试板投试前应用1:1的石蜡和松香混合物封边,封边宽度为2-3mm。
在玻璃水槽中加入蒸馏水或去离子水,除另有规定外,调节水温为(23±2)℃,并在整个实验过程中保持该温度;将三块试板放入其中,并使每块试板长度的2/3浸泡于水中。
在达到产品标准规定的浸泡时间结束时,将试板从槽中取出,用滤纸吸干,立即或按产品规定的时间状态调节后以目视检查试板,并记录是否失光、变色、起泡、起皱、生锈等现象和恢复时间。
如本发明所用,术语“增稠剂”为稳定水性涂料的物质。增稠剂的实例包括无机增稠剂和有机增稠剂,其中无机增稠剂包括但不限于例如膨润土等。有机增稠剂包括,但不限于纤维素醚及其衍生物类、缔合型碱溶胀增稠剂和聚氨酯增稠剂。
纤维素醚及其衍生物包括羟乙基纤维素、甲基羟乙基纤维素、乙基羟乙基纤维素、甲基羟丙基纤维素等。疏水改性纤维素是在纤维素亲水骨架上引入少量长链疏水烷基,从而成为缔合型增稠剂,如NatrosolPlusGrade330、331,CellosizeSG-100等,其增稠效果可与相对分子质量大得多的纤维素醚增稠剂品种相当。
碱溶胀增稠剂分为两类:非缔合型碱溶胀增稠剂和缔合型碱溶胀增稠剂。例如,Elements公司开发的不含VOC和APEO的缔合型碱溶胀增稠剂,如Rheolate 125。
聚氨酯增稠剂是一种疏水基团改性乙氧基聚氨酯水溶性聚合物,属于非离子型缔合增稠剂。环境友好的缔合型聚氨酯增稠剂开发已受到普遍重视,如Rheolate 210、BorchiGel 0434、Tego ViscoPlus 3010和3030及3060等都是不含VOC和APEO的缔合型聚氨酯增稠剂,BYK-425是不含VOC和APEO的脲改性聚氨酯增稠剂。除了上面介绍的线性缔合型聚氨酯增稠剂,还有梳状缔合聚氨酯增稠剂。
改性聚脲增稠剂包括BYK公司开发的产品。它的增稠机理是既有氢键作用,也有端基缔合作用,与一般增稠剂比较,防沉降和抗流挂性能好。
本发明中,当使用聚氨酯增稠剂时能够实现优异的耐水性,因此是优选的。
本发明中,增稠剂的含量基于1000重量份水漆为4-7份。例如4、5、6或7。如果含量过高,则耐水性变差。另一方面,如果含量过低,则水漆的稳定性变差。
本发明中,内墙水漆中醇酸树脂的支化度与水漆中增稠剂的添加量之比(例如,支化度为50%,增稠剂的含量为4重量份时,两者之比为50/4=12.5)在特定范围内。优选地,支化度与增稠剂的量之比为10-15范围内,优选12-14范围内。在此范围内,则本发明的内墙水漆具有优异的稳定性和成膜耐水性。如果支化度与增稠剂的量之比大于15,则内墙水漆的稳定性劣化。另一方面,如果该比例小于10,则内墙水漆的耐水性变差。
本发明的内墙水漆可任选包含用于醇酸树脂氧化交联的催化剂。醇酸树脂经历氧化交联,在空气中的氧的存在下,这是一种自氧化反应。醇酸树脂商的反应性基团是烯丙基基团和二烯丙基基团,其具有-CH=CHCH2CH=CH-结构。烯丙基和二烯丙基基团的烯丙基和二烯丙基氢原子分别与氧反应形成醇酸树脂聚合物链之间的交联。自氧化可被多价金属的有机盐催化,其被称为“催干剂”。催干剂的例子有环烷酸钴和树脂酸锰。催干剂的另一个例子是ADDITOL VXW4940。
本发明的内墙水漆可任选包含着色剂。所述着色剂可以是颜料或染料,可以是无机或有机的。无机着色剂的例子有氧化铁颜料如针铁矿、纤铁矿、赤铁矿、磁赤铁矿和磁铁矿;氧化铬颜料;镉颜料如镉黄、镉红和镉朱砂;铋颜料如钒酸铋和钒酸钼酸铋;混合金属氧化物颜料如钛酸钴绿;铬酸盐和钼酸盐颜料如铬黄、钼酸盐红、和钼酸盐橙;深蓝色颜料;氧化钴颜料;钛酸镍锑;铅铬;蓝铁颜料;和炭黑。
有机着色剂的例子有,偶氮颜料、单偶氮颜料、二偶氮颜料、偶氮颜料色淀、β-萘酚颜料、萘酚AS颜料、苯并咪唑酮颜料、二偶氮浓缩颜料、金属络合物颜料、异二氢吲哚酮和异二氢吲哚颜料、多环颜料、酞菁颜料、喹吖酮颜料、苝和苝酮(perinone)颜料、硫靛蓝颜料、蒽嘧啶酮颜料、黄烷士林颜料、蒽嵌蒽醌颜料、二噁嗪颜料、三芳基碳鎓颜料、喹啉并邻羧基苯乙酮颜料和二酮吡咯吡咯颜料。还可使用包含至少一种以上有机着色剂的组合。
所述着色剂颗粒的平均粒径可以是10纳米(nm)至50微米,具体是20纳米至5微米,更具体是40纳米至2微米。在某些实施方案中,粒度为2.5微米至1.25微米的着色剂占50-55%,以便得到更高的随着效果。对于深色调漆或彩色蜡笔,着色剂的量以全部粘结剂固体为基准计可以是0.01-20重量%。
本发明中,内墙水漆可任选包含选自下组的涂料添加剂:粘合促进剂、着色剂、颜料、增量剂、催干剂、固化剂、表面活性剂、乳化剂、分散剂、润湿剂、溶剂、助溶剂、聚结剂、防冻剂、缓冲剂、中和剂、流变改性剂、湿润剂、杀生物剂、增塑剂、消泡剂、荧光增白剂、光稳定剂、紫外吸收剂、热稳定剂、抗氧化剂、杀生物剂、螯合剂、蜡、防水剂、光敏化合物、闪锈抑制剂(flash rust inibitor)、腐蚀抑制剂、及其组合。
本发明中,内墙水漆的固体含量可以是10-85体积%。内墙水漆的粘度可以是50-50000厘泊,该粘度利用布鲁克菲尔德粘度计(Brookfield viscometer)测量。不同的施涂方法,粘度可显著不同。
本发明中,内墙水漆的pH值在7-8范围内。在某些实施方案中,pH值在7.5-8.5范围内,以便得到更长的贮存期,例如6个月。乳液的涂-4杯粘度变化小于5%。
内墙水漆可通过以下方式制备:首先在高剪切条件下在包含分散剂的水性介质中混合固体添加剂,例如颜料和增量剂,直到固体添加剂都良好地分散。可例如通过COWLES混合器提供高剪切条件。所得固体添加剂的分散体被称为“磨料”,或“颜料磨料”。可以在低剪切混合条件下,将稳定的醇酸树脂乳液、任选的其他水性聚合物分散体、任选的添加剂和足以实现所需的涂料固体含量的水(统称为“稀释料”)加到磨料中。或者,可将磨料加到稀释料中。
本发明中,内墙水漆的涂布方法包括,但不限于刷涂、辊涂和喷涂。喷涂方法的例子有,空气雾化喷涂、空气辅助喷涂、无空气喷涂、高体积低压喷涂和空气辅助的无气喷涂。其他施涂方法可利用填缝枪、辊涂机和幕涂机进行。可将内墙水漆施涂到塑料、木材、金属、涂有底漆的表面、预先涂漆的表面、风化的涂漆表面、玻璃、纸张、纸板、皮革、复合材料和水泥质基材。可在环境条件下例如0-35℃进行干燥,但可通过以下方式加速:更高的温度、空气流、低湿度、声能或光化学能量(如电子束、紫外光、可见光、红外光或微波辐射)。
实施例
除非另有说明,否则本发明使用的添加剂为本领域内通常使用的任何物质。
根据表1中所示的配方,按下述步骤制备各实施例和比较例的水性醇酸树脂乳液。
(1)将内墙锐钛型钛白粉、羟乙基纤维素和分散剂加入到水性醇酸树脂乳液的反应罐中,以200-300rpm搅拌均匀,得到涂料预混液;
(2)在反应罐中依次缓慢加入水、重钙、润湿剂、防腐剂和消泡剂,混合,500-600rpm,搅拌时间为2-12min至均匀;
(3)在一定速度下搅拌,加入增稠剂调整其到一定的粘度,得到水性涂料。

Claims (2)
2.一种如权利要求1所述的水性醇酸内墙水漆的制备方法,其包括如下步骤:
(1)将内墙锐钛型钛白粉、羟乙基纤维素和分散剂加入到水性醇酸树脂乳液的反应罐中,以200-300rpm搅拌均匀,得到涂料预混液;
(2)在反应罐中依次缓慢加入水、重钙、润湿剂、防腐剂和消泡剂,混合,500-600rpm,搅拌时间为2-12min至均匀;
(3)在搅拌状态下,加入增稠剂调整其到所需的粘度,得到水性醇酸内墙水漆。
