第二粘合剂

第二多糖的适合实例包括:甲基纤维素(MC)、羟基丙基甲基纤维素(HPMC)、羟基乙基甲基纤维素(HEMC)、羟基丁基甲基纤维素(HBMC)、羟基乙基乙基纤维素(HEEC)、羧基甲基纤维素(CMC)、琼脂、淀粉、海藻酸盐、结冷胶(gellan gum)、三仙胶(xanthan gum)、果胶、角叉菜胶(carrageenan)、明胶、阿拉伯胶(gum arabic)、黄蓍胶(tragacanth gum)、海藻酸、其任何衍生物以及其任何组合。优选地,第二多糖是MC、HPMC、CMC、海藻酸盐以及其任何组合。

颜料粒子是指能够对组合物的不透明性(或覆盖力)作出实质贡献的无机材料。这些材料通常具有大于1.8的折射率,并且包括:二氧化钛(TiO2)、氧化锌、硫化锌、硫酸钡、碳酸钡以及锌钡白。二氧化钛(TiO2)为优选的。
第一和第二粘合剂中的至少一种中其它任选的组分
任选地,本发明的第一和第二粘合剂中的至少一种可以进一步包含:按粘合剂的总干重计以干重计,0.05%到10%、优选地0.5%到7.5%、并且更优选地1%到5%的粘土。
粘土是指具有镁、铝、锂、钠以及其它金属元素的含水页硅酸盐。粘土的适合实例包括:硅酸镁锂,市售为LAPONITETM RD和LAPONITE RDS,购自Rockwood Additives Ltd.;硅酸镁铝,市售为VEEGUMTM,购自Vanderbilt Company,Inc;以及其任何组合。
任选地,第一和第二粘合剂中的至少一种可以进一步包含:按粘合剂的总干重计以干重计,1%到50%、优选地1%到30%、并且更优选地3%到20%的增量剂粒子。
增量剂粒子是指折射率小于或等于1.8并且大于1.3的无机材料,并且包括:碳酸钙、硫酸钙、铝硅酸盐、硅酸盐、沸石、云母、硅藻土、Al2O3、磷酸锌、实心或空心玻璃以及瓷珠。

增稠剂的适合实例包括:聚乙烯醇(PVA)、碱溶性乳剂(ASE)、疏水改质碱溶性乳剂(HASE)、疏水改质环氧乙烷-氨基甲酸酯聚合物(HEUR)、疏水改质羟基乙基纤维素(HMHEC)、疏水改质聚丙烯酰胺以及烟雾状二氧化硅。
制备任一粘合剂
通过在水中混合粘合剂组分并搅拌来制备本发明的任一粘合剂。优选地,首先混合多糖、聚合物粒子以及除交联剂、水溶性金属离子和阳离子聚电解质外的粘合剂组分。更优选地,在使用交联剂、水溶性金属离子以及阳离子聚电解质时,在混合如上文所描述的其它粘合剂组分之后将交联剂添加到混合物中,并且在添加交联剂之后将水溶性金属离子添加到混合物中,并且随后添加阳离子聚电解质。
制备粘合剂组合物
通过简单混合第一粘合剂与第二粘合剂来制备本发明的粘合剂组合物。
油漆配制品
可以通过将粘合剂组合物与其它油漆添加剂,以及按粘合剂组合物的总干重计以干重计,0.01%到20%、优选地0.05%到15%、并且更优选地0.1%到10%的至少一种着色剂混合而将粘合剂组合物制成油漆配制品。
着色剂是有机或无机着色剂粒子,优选地无机着色剂粒子。着色剂粒子的适合实例包括:碳黑、灯黑、氧化铁黑、氧化铁红、氧化物透明红、氧化铁黄、氧化物透明黄、氧化铁棕、酞菁绿、酞菁蓝、萘酚红、喹吖啶酮红、喹吖啶酮洋红、喹吖啶酮紫、DNA橙以及有机黄。
油漆添加剂的适合实例包括:聚结剂、共溶剂、表面活性剂、缓冲剂、中和剂、增稠剂、非增稠流变改质剂、分散剂、保湿剂、润湿剂、防霉剂、杀生物剂、增塑剂、防沫剂、消泡剂、防结皮剂、流动剂以及抗氧化剂。
针对单色油漆,添加一种着色剂,而针对多色油漆,添加至少两种不同着色剂。
可以通过将着色剂与第一粘合剂、第二粘合剂、粘合剂组合物或油漆配制品混合而将着色剂添加到油漆中。
油漆操作
可以通过包括以下的常规操作方法来操作油漆配制品:刷涂;滚涂;以及喷涂方法,诸如空气雾化喷涂、空气辅助喷涂、无空气喷涂、高量低压喷涂以及空气辅助无空气喷涂。
用于这些油漆操作的适合衬底包括:混凝土板、水泥板、中等密度纤维(MDF)板、粒子板、石膏板、木材、石材、金属、塑料、壁纸以及纺织品。优选地,所有衬底由水性或溶剂型底漆预涂布。

1.着色剂保护
将1g XERACOLOURTM蓝色着色剂分别添加到100g第一粘合剂和100g第二粘合剂中,并且通过搅拌混合。用水洗涤粘合剂与着色剂的混合物以通过裸眼观察着色剂保护。如果在洗涤后粘合剂仍为彩色,那么着色剂受到粘合剂的保护,否则着色剂不受保护。
2.热老化测试
将300mL每种油漆配制品添加到500mL加盖塑料瓶中,并且在50℃下于ThermalElectron Corporation的Lindberg/Blue MTM真空烘箱中加热10天。通过裸眼观察热老化后油漆配制品的胶凝或脱水收缩。
III.实验实例
1.制备粘合剂组合物实例(实例)1到8和比较粘合剂组合物实例(比较实例)9到14
制备用于实例1的第一粘合剂:通过以200-1500rpm搅拌5min而将2.5g JAGUARHP-8羟丙基瓜尔胶、1.5g羟丙基甲基纤维素K 100M羟基丙基甲基纤维素分散于114.4g去离子水中,并且随后在60-90℃下保温10min并以500-2000rpm搅拌。用冰水浴冷却组合物达10min,并且以500-2000rpm保持搅拌。当多糖溶解时,将95.8g CC-700碳酸钙、300g PRIMALSF-155苯乙烯-丙烯酸聚合物乳剂、1.0g NOPCO NXZ消泡剂、1.6g OROTAN 1288分散剂以及1.2g KATHON 287杀生物剂添加到多糖溶液中并以2000rpm搅拌20min。随后添加2g TYZORTE钛酸酯螯合物并以约10-300rpm搅拌5min。0.2g 30%NaOH溶液用于将pH调节到约8-9以促进交联反应。其后,依次添加80g 5%CaCl2溶液和2g 20%PDMA溶液并以50-300rpm搅拌再5min。
制备用于实例1的第二粘合剂:通过以200-1500rpm搅拌5min而将4.0g JAGUAR4500F瓜尔胶、2.5g羟丙基甲基纤维素K 100M羟基丙基甲基纤维素分散于347.4g去离子水中,并且随后在60-90℃下保温10min并以500-2000rpm搅拌。用冰水浴冷却组合物达10min,并且以500-2000rpm保持搅拌。当多糖溶解时,将0.5g HZ-200粘土、1.1g ACRYSOL ASE-60增稠剂、26.6g CC-700碳酸钙、25g TI-PURE R706TiO2、50g PRIMAL SF-155丙烯酸聚合物乳剂、1.0g NOPCO NXZ消泡剂、2.0g OROTAN 1288分散剂、1.5g KATHONTM 287杀生物剂添加到多糖溶液中并以2000rpm搅拌20min。随后添加0.5g TYZOR TE钛酸酯螯合物并以约10-300rpm搅拌5min。0.3g 30%NaOH溶液用于将pH调节到约8-9以促进交联反应。
根据上文用于制备实例1第一和第二粘合剂的方法来制备粘合剂组合物实例2到8以及比较粘合剂组合物实例9到14的第一和第二粘合剂,其中详细粘合剂组分在表1中列出。
通过以如在表1中列出的湿比,以10-300rpm搅拌10min来混合每一粘合剂组合物实例1到8以及比较粘合剂组合物实例9到14的第一和第二粘合剂,以制备粘合剂组合物实例。
2.制备油漆配制品(油漆)1到8和比较油漆配制品(比较油漆)9到14
由实例1制备油漆配制品1(油漆1):通过以10-300rpm搅拌10min来混合50g第一粘合剂和50g第二粘合剂。将所得组合物分散于10g NATROSOL 250HBR流变改质剂溶液(1%)中。根据上文用于制备油漆配制品1的方法,分别由粘合剂组合物实例2到8以及比较油漆配制品9到14制备油漆配制品2到8以及比较油漆配制品9到14。表1-a

如表1和表2中所示,比较粘合剂组合物实例9(比较实例9)在其第一粘合剂中不包含金属阳离子(CaCl2)或阳离子聚电解质(PDMA),并且不保护其第一粘合剂中的着色剂。比较粘合剂组合物实例10(比较实例10)在其第一粘合剂中包含不足量的金属阳离子和阳离子聚电解质,并且同样不保护其第一粘合剂中的着色剂。对于所需油漆外观,着色剂需要受到保护并且仅在第一粘合剂中受到保护。为此目的,数据支持:金属阳离子和阳离子聚电解质必然包含于本发明粘合剂组合物的第一粘合剂中。
比较粘合剂组合物实例11和12(比较实例11和12)在其第一粘合剂中包含非建议的交联剂(2.2%硼酸盐)或不包含任何交联剂。比较粘合剂组合物实例11保护其第一粘合剂中的着色剂,但由其制备的油漆胶化并且不适于操作。比较粘合剂组合物实例12不保护其第一粘合剂中的着色剂。数据指示:交联剂对本发明粘合剂组合物的性能发挥关键作用。
比较粘合剂组合物实例13和14(比较实例13和14)在其第一粘合剂中分别不包含第一多糖以及包含不足量的第一多糖,并且其第一粘合剂均不保护着色剂。数据指示:第一多糖组分和其百分比对第一粘合剂的着色剂保护而言是关键的。
粘合剂组合物实例1到8分别包含适当量本发明所建议的组分,并且显示所需着色剂保护和油漆稳定性。

Claims (19)

1.一种粘合剂组合物,其包含第一粘合剂,所述第一粘合剂包含:按所述第一粘合剂的总干重计以干重计,5%到98%的聚合物粒子、0.3%到10%的第一多糖、0.01%到5%的交联剂、0.3%到6%的水溶性金属阳离子以及0.05%到3%的阳离子聚电解质;
其中所述交联剂是有机钛酸酯化合物、有机锆酸酯化合物以及其任何组合。
2.根据权利要求1所述的粘合剂组合物,其中所述聚合物粒子进一步包含以下作为聚合单元:按所述聚合物粒子的总干重以干重计,0.1%到10%的携有至少一个官能团的烯系不饱和单体。
3.根据权利要求1所述的粘合剂组合物,其中所述第一多糖选自瓜尔胶和瓜尔胶衍生物。
4.根据权利要求1所述的粘合剂组合物,其中所述水溶性金属阳离子选自钙离子、锌离子、铝离子、镁离子、铁离子、钡离子以及其任何组合。
5.根据权利要求1所述的粘合剂组合物,其中所述阳离子聚电解质包括聚胺、其任何衍生物以及其任何组合。
6.根据权利要求1所述的粘合剂组合物,其中所述阳离子聚电解质包括聚脒、聚乙烯脒、其任何衍生物以及其任何组合。
7.根据权利要求1所述的粘合剂组合物,其中所述阳离子聚电解质包括聚(N,N-二甲基丙烯酰胺)、阳离子聚丙烯酰胺、其任何衍生物以及其任何组合。
8.根据权利要求1所述的粘合剂组合物,其进一步包含第二粘合剂,所述第二粘合剂包含:按所述第二粘合剂的总干重计以干重计,0.3%到20%的所述第一多糖、0.5%到20%的第二多糖。
9.根据权利要求8所述的粘合剂组合物,其中所述第一粘合剂与所述第二粘合剂的湿重比是1:20到20:1。
10.根据权利要求8所述的粘合剂组合物,其中所述第二多糖选自甲基纤维素、羟基丙基甲基纤维素、羧基甲基纤维素、海藻酸盐以及其任何组合。
11.根据权利要求8所述的粘合剂组合物,其中所述第二粘合剂进一步包含:按所述第二粘合剂的总干重计以干重计,1%到80%的颜料粒子。

15.根据权利要求8所述的粘合剂组合物,其中所述第二粘合剂进一步包含:按所述粘合剂的总干重计以干重计,1%到50%的增量剂粒子。
16.根据权利要求1所述的粘合剂组合物,其中所述第一粘合剂进一步包含:按所述粘合剂的总干重计以干重计,0.05%到5%的增稠剂。
17.根据权利要求8所述的粘合剂组合物,其中所述第二粘合剂进一步包含:按所述粘合剂的总干重计以干重计,0.05%到5%的增稠剂。
18.根据权利要求1和8中任一权利要求所述的粘合剂组合物,其进一步包含:按所述粘合剂组合物的总干重以干重计,0.01%到20%的至少一种着色剂。
19.一种油漆配制品,其包含根据权利要求1和8中任一权利要求所述的粘合剂组合物。
