Abstract

背景技术
烟雾和火灾检测器在本领域中是已知的。然而,已知的烟雾和火灾检测器可能产生误警报,并且不存在已知的系统来容易地和准确地验证由这些检测器所产生的警报。此外,当烟雾、火灾、或其他生命安全警报发生时,不存在已知的系统来容易地和准确地定位在受监视区之内的潜在受害者。
鉴于以上情况,存在对改进的系统和方法的持续的、正在进行的需要。

在本文中公开的实施例包括用于已验证的威胁检测的系统和方法。例如,在一些实施例中,当自动烟雾或火灾检测器产生警报时,在本文中所公开的系统和方法可以验证警报为已验证的威胁。此外,在一些实施例中,当烟雾、火灾或生命安全警报发生时,在本文中所公开的系统和方法可以协助第一响应者等等定位在由产生警报的检测器监视的区中的潜在受害者。
根据所公开的实施例,烟雾、火灾、热、有毒气体或其他生命安全检测器可以包括视频摄像机或其他图像或运动捕获装置。摄像机在正常状况下可以保持关闭。然而,当检测器检测到警报状况时,摄像机可以接通并且捕获一个或多个图像用于确定在其视场之内是否存在任何烟雾、火灾或诸如此类。例如,在一些实施例中,摄像机可以将所捕获的图像发送到远程中央监视站以供操作者检查。附加地或替选地,在一些实施例中,摄像机可以将在检测器检测到警报状况之后捕获的图像与在检测器检测到警报状况之前捕获的图像相比较。
在一些实施例中,摄像机可以是第一响应系统的部分,所述第一响应系统用于将捕获的图像发送给第一响应者等等以将那些响应者引导到由检测器监视的区中的潜在受害者。
根据所公开的实施例,检测器附加地或替选地可以包括照明系统,例如,一个或多个白光或红外LED装置。照明系统在正常状况下可以保持关闭。然而,当检测器检测到警报状况时,照明系统可以接通以照亮受监视区,例如黑暗或烟雾封闭的受监视区,以便于捕获受监视区的图像或者识别受监视区中的潜在受害者。在一些实施例中,当检测器检测到警报状况时,照明系统可以自动接通。在一些实施例中,当检测器或摄像机检测到受监视区是黑暗的或烟雾封闭的时,照明系统可以接通。
当捕获受监视区的图像或视频时,许多消费者特别是住宅消费者具有隐私忧虑。然而,通过在本文中公开的系统和方法可以减少隐私忧虑,因为包括摄像机的视频系统仅当传感器或其他检测器检测到警报状况时可以被激活。
在一些实施例中,检测器可以是安全系统或周围状况监视系统的部分,并且摄像机的激活可以取决于安全系统或周围状况监视系统的状态。例如,当检测器检测到警报状况时或在检测器接收到来自监视站的指令信号时,摄像机仅当安全系统或周围状况监视系统处于“武装”或另外激活的状态时可以接通并且捕获一个或多个图像。即,在一些实施例中,当安全系统或周围状况监视系统处于“解除武装”或另外去激活状态时,摄像机可以保持关闭,即使当检测器检测到警报状况时。
根据所公开的实施例,烟雾、火灾、热、有毒气体或其他生命安全检测器可以包括温度读出装置,诸如热敏电阻或诸如此类。温度读出装置可以以预定的间隔读出周围区的温度用于创建周期性的局部温度记录。当检测器检测到警报状况时,先前和当前记录的温度可以用于确认周围区的温度是否根据检测到的警报状况而改变。例如,当检测器检测到火灾状况时,周围区的温度应该已以预定的快的速率上升。在一些实施例中,在本文中公开的系统和方法可以将由与检测警报状况的检测器相关联的温度读出装置创建的温度记录与由与定位在受监视区之内的不同位置的第二检测器相关联的温度读出装置创建的温度记录相比较。
图1是根据公开的实施例的系统100的框图。如在图1中看到的,系统100可以包括与远程监视站300通信的监视装置200。例如,在一些实施例中,监视装置200可以经由通信介质与监视站300通信,所述通信介质包括以下中的一种或多种:基于LET、GSM、IP、或WiFi的网络。在一些实施例中,监视装置200可以将关于检测到的警报状况的信号或包括捕获的图像、视频数据或温度数据的信号发送到监视站300。
根据以上,监视装置200可以包括传感器210,以及用于监视周围区R的图像捕获装置220、照明系统230或温度读出装置240中的一个或多个。例如,在一些实施例中,传感器210可以包括烟雾、火灾、热、有毒气体或其他生命安全传感器。在一些实施例中,图像捕获装置220可以包括视频摄像机。在一些实施例中,照明系统230可以包括一个或多个白光或红外LED装置,在一些实施例中,温度读出装置240可以包括热敏电阻。
如由本领域普通技术人员将理解的,监视装置200还可以包括控制电路250,一个或多个可编程处理器250a,以及可执行控制软件250b。可执行控制软件250b可以被存储在暂时性或非暂时性计算机可读介质上,所述暂时性或非暂时性计算机可读介质包括但不限于本地计算机存储器、RAM、光学存储介质、磁性存储介质等等。在一些实施例中,控制电路250、可编程处理器250a、以及控制软件250b可以执行和控制如以上和此中描述的方法。
例如,当传感器210检测到警报状况时,传感器210可以将对应信号发送到控制电路250,并且响应于其,控制电路250可以将信号发送到图像捕获装置220、照明系统240或温度读出装置240中的一个或多个用于其激活。在一些实施例中,每当电路250将激活信号发送到图像捕获装置240,控制电路250可以将激活信号发送到照明系统240。然而,在一些实施例中,仅当传感器210、图像捕获装置240或控制电路250检测到或确定周围区R是黑暗的或烟雾封闭的时,控制电路250可以将激活信号250发送到照明系统240。
当被激活时,图像捕获装置220可以捕获周围区R的一个或多个图像,并且将对应信号发送到控制电路250。在接收到来自图像捕获装置220的图像时,控制电路250、可编程处理器250a以及可执行控制软件250b可以处理图像,用于确定在图像捕获装置220的视场之内捕获的图像是否与由传感器210检测到的警报状况一致,并且因此确定警报状况是已验证的威胁。附加地或替选地,控制电路250可以经由收发器260将图像发送到远程监视站300用于进一步对其进行处理,并且用于确定由传感器210检测到的警报状况是否是已验证的威胁。附加地或替选地,控制电路250可以经由收发器260将图像发送到远程监视站300或第一响应者用于定位在周围区R中的潜在受害者。
在接收到来自传感器210的指示检测到警报状况的信号时,控制电路250可以向温度读出装置240发送请求先前和当前记录的温度的信号。然后,控制电路250、可编程处理器250a、以及可执行控制软件250b可以处理记录的温度用于确定周围区R的温度是否根据检测到的警报状况而改变。附加地威替选地,控制电路250可以经由收发器260将记录的温度发送到远程监视站300用于进一步对其进行处理,并且用于确定周围区R的温度是否根据检测到的警报状况而改变。

Claims (7)
1.一种系统,包括:
传感器,其监视周围区;
照明系统;以及
图像捕获装置,
其中,在传感器检测到周围区中的警报状况时,图像捕获装置被激活用于捕获周围区的第一图像以确定第一图像是否与警报状况一致,并且
其中,在激活图像捕获装置之后,当图像捕获装置检测到周围区中的预定量烟雾时,照明系统被激活用于照亮周围区。
2.权利要求1的系统,其中传感器监视周围区中的烟雾、周围区中的火灾、周围区中的热或周围区中的有毒气体中的至少一个。
3.权利要求1的系统,其中图像捕获装置包括摄像机。
4.权利要求1的系统,进一步包括:
可编程处理器;以及
可执行控制软件,其被存储在非暂时性计算机可读介质上;
其中可编程处理器和可执行控制软件处理第一图像用于确定第一图像是否与警报状况一致。
5.权利要求4的系统,其中可编程处理器和可执行控制软件处理第一图像包括将第一图像与在传感器检测到警报状况之前由图像捕获装置捕获的第二图像相比较。
6.权利要求1的系统,进一步包括:
可编程处理器;
可执行控制软件,其被存储在非暂时性计算机可读介质上;以及
收发器,
其中可编程处理器和可执行控制软件经由收发器将第一图像发送到远程监视站用于确定第一图像是否与警报状况一致。
7.权利要求1的系统,其中照明系统包括一个或多个白光LED装置或红外LED装置。
