Research shows that the effective fire extinguishing mode for the lithium battery is completely soaked in water, and other types of fire extinguishers or fire extinguishing agents can only extinguish fire but cannot prevent re-ignition and explosion. For fires different from those caused by other things, the lithium battery firing presents a new challenge to emergency disposal in the aircraft passenger cabin. While emergency fire protection programs refer to suitable fire extinguishers and fire protection devices, emergency disposal devices for lithium battery fires and explosions are not provided in most aircraft cabins.

The design concept of explosion proof boxes and part of the requirements of fire and explosion proof enclosures was proposed by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in 1993. International organization for standardization (ISO) promulgated standard ISO 14186: 2013, the most basic design, performance standard and test method of the fireproof cover are specified. The SAE AS6453 standard promulgated by the American society of automotive Engineers for aerospace industry, is equivalent to standard ISO 14186: 2013. the standards are directed to the risk of fire and explosion of common goods, and do not relate to the particularity of fire and explosion of electronic products. The flame-retardant box and the fireproof cover which are researched at the present stage are designed and researched aiming at the fire and explosion of a large number of goods, have the problems of heavy volume, inconvenient movement, complex operation, easiness in damage, high price, high maintenance cost and the like, and are not suitable for being used as an emergency disposal device in the cabin environment.
In order to solve the problem of the absence of the emergency disposal device for the lithium battery in the airplane passenger cabin during the fire and explosion, the solution of the emergency disposal device for the lithium battery in the airplane passenger cabin during the fire is provided integrally and conveniently aiming at the characteristics of crowded space, limited fire extinguishing resources, short disposal time and the like of the airplane passenger cabin.
