Abstract
一种铝炭耐火材料防氧化涂料及其制备工艺。
该防氧化涂料由四硼酸钠,磷酸三钠,磷酸二氢铝、磷
酸、水玻璃、氢氧化铝、氢氧化钙、氧化锌、氧化钛等原
料按本发明配比及工艺制成料浆,再将其用喷涂或刷
涂等工艺涂敷于铝炭耐火材料坯体的表面,经烘干,
再置于隧道窑内可在空气或氧化气氛下1500℃以内
烧成,有效地防止了铝炭耐火材料在烧成或使用过程
中被氧化。
本发明涂料可从室温到1500℃实现对铝炭耐火
材料的防氧化保护,成本低,性能稳定、使用方便,工
艺简单。
Description
本发明属于耐火材料
一种铝炭耐火材料防氧化涂料及其制备工艺,已有技术中防氧化工艺一种是将成型好的铝炭耐火材料坯件埋敷在焦炭中,封闭于匣钵中隔绝空气,防止耐火材料在烧成中发生氧化。这种工艺的突出缺点是:窑内空间利用率低,热效率低,生产成本高,装出窑时焦炭粉尘易造成对环境的污染,操作工人的劳动条件恶劣,而且这种工艺烧成的耐火材料在实际使用时仍需进行表面防氧化涂层处理(日本专利,特许公报,昭58-3992;《耐为材料》,1988,NO.4,P32;《耐为材料》,1988,NO.4,P27)。另一种是对成型后的耐火材料表面进行防氧化涂层处理,然后将其直接在窑内空气气氛下烧成。现有的防氧化涂层有的含有大量的氧化铅,烧成时有毒的氧化铅易挥发到空气中污染环境(日本专利,特许公报,昭59-53555);有的防氧化涂层的使用温度范围小(日本专利,特许公报,昭58-3992;昭59-230066)。
本发明的目的是制备一种铝炭耐火材料表面防氧化涂料,该涂料与耐火材料坯件在空气气氛下烧成。克服已有技术存在的缺点。
本发明的防氧化涂料及其制备工艺是采用工业纯原料,以重量百分比按下配比称料:
原料 配比(wt%)

磷酸三钠 0~30.0
磷酸二氢铝 0~45.0
85%磷酸 0~14.5
水玻璃 0~80.0
氢氧化铝 0~7.0
氢氧化钙 1.5~4.0
氧化锌 0~2.5
氧化钛 0~1.8
配料的配制是:将磷酸按用量溶于重量为其2~3倍的水中,然后加热至50~110℃,再将其余配料逐渐加入并搅抖均匀;或将配料在球磨机中混磨均匀。
将浆料比重用水调整到1.50~1.80g/cm3。
铝炭耐火材料成型后,将其表面清理干净,在成型坯体表面涂施一层配制好的涂料浆体,该涂层厚度控制在0.15~0.30mm,涂敷后的坯体经自然干燥或在烘干室内逐渐烘干,然后装入窑内烧成,烧成可在1500℃以下的空气气氛或氧化气氛中进行。
本发明的突出优点是,该涂料可用于含炭量在7.0~30.0wt%的大范围内的各种连铸用铝炭耐火材料等的防氧化烧成。如滑动水口,长水口,浸入式水口及塞棒等的烧成;可用于室温至1500℃宽的温度范围内对铝炭类耐火材料部件进行防氧化保护烧成;本发明的防氧化涂料制备工艺简单、稳定、成本低,使用时仍能对耐火材料进行防氧化保护。
例1
本实例采用的铝炭耐火材料试样为:炭含量8.0wt%的连铸用铝炭滑动水口板坯,尺寸为500×250×50mm。防氧化涂料的配方按重量百分比为:四硼酸钠。34.0wt%,磷酸三钠23.0wt%,磷酸二氢铝30.5wt%,85%磷酸8.7wt%,氢氧化钙1.6wt%,氧化锌2.2wt%。在塑料容器中放入重量为85%磷酸用量3倍的水,再将磷酸加入,加热到100℃,并保持该温度,逐渐将其它配料加入,边加料边搅拌,待形成均匀的胶状体,冷却后即制成比重约为1.65g/cm3的料浆。将配制好的料浆用刷涂法在常温下涂敷到清洁的铝炭滑动水口板坯上。待涂层稍干后,移入烘干窑内缓慢升温,在110℃保温2小时,然后装入隧道窑内烧成,最高温度为1450℃。烧成后对部件进行检查,部件表面有一玻璃状保护层,厚度小于1.0mm。将部件切开检查,内部无氧化迹象,烧结良好。
例2
耐火材料采用含炭量为26.0wt%的铝炭棒状样品,尺寸为φ140×1200mm。防氧化涂料的配方按重量百分比为:四硼酸钠16.5wt%,水玻璃77.0wt%,氢氧化铝3.2wt%,氢氧化钙1.2wt%,氧化锌1.3wt%,氧化钛1.0wt%。将配料置于球磨机中混磨2小时,即制成防氧化涂层料浆,比重为1.55g/cm3。将此料浆用毛刷涂敷到清洁的试棒表面,置于烘干窑内缓慢升温到110℃烘干。将烘干的试样放入隧道窑内烧成,最高烧成温度为1380℃。
烧成后的试棒表面有一玻璃状层,与耐火材料结合牢固,内部无氧化迹象,烧结良好。
Claims (1)
1、一种耐火材料防氧化涂料及其制备工艺,将硼砂,硅酸铅、氧化铝等构成的涂料涂覆于含炭耐火材料表面,防止含炭耐火材料在烧成及使用时被氧化、本发明的特征是防氧化涂料配比是:四硼酸钠13.0~43.0wt%、磷酸三钠0~30.0wt%,磷酸二氢铝0~45.0wt%,85%磷酸0~14.5wt%、水玻璃0~80.0wt%、氢氧化铝0~7.0wt%、氢氧化钙1.5~4.0wt%、氧化锌0~2.5wt%、氧化钛0~1.8wt%,将按配比称量的磷酸溶于为其重量2~3倍的水中,加热至50~110℃,再将其余配料逐渐加入并搅拌均匀;或在常温下将配料在球磨机中混磨均匀,由两种方法制成的物料用水调整其比重为1.50~1.80g/cm3的浆料。
