本发明提供了一种OLED显示面板驱动系统及静态图案处理方法,该方法包括:侦测OLED显示面板上的静态图案;根据图案特征对侦测到的静态图案分类;根据分类后的静态图案选择相应的处理模式,以减少残影的产生。本发明可以减少显示面板上的残影发生。

Description

一种OLED显示面板驱动系统及静态图案处理方法
技术领域
本发明涉及有机显示控制技术领域,具体地说,尤其涉及一种OLED显示面板驱动系统及静态图案处理方法。
背景技术
目前,大部分OLED(Organic Light-Emitting Diode,有机发光二极管)都采用直流驱动。OLED中的空穴从正极进入发光层,电子从负极进入发光层,空穴和电子在发光层中结合并辐射发光。
如图1所示为现有技术中OLED显示屏中像素的电路结构示意图,当该行像素对应的扫描线Gate输出扫描信号时,晶体管T1打开,此时由数据线Date输出的驱动信号对电容C进行充电。电容C的电压值作为晶体管T2的栅极电压,通过电容C的电压控制晶体管T2的打开,进而控制流过OLED的电流大小。在OLED显示屏工作时,所有的像素都持续保持发光状态。
随着OLED显示屏使用时间增加,会有空穴和电子累积在各自的传输层和发光层的界面,从而在OLED内部形成内建电场。该内建电场会增大OLED的阈值电压,降低其发光亮度。对OLED面板来说,由于内建电场的存在,某些静态显示区域(如长时间显示电视台台标和广告的角落等)特别容易产生残影。
发明内容
为解决以上问题,本发明提供了一种OLED显示面板驱动系统及静态图案处理方法,用以减少显示面板上的残影。
根据本发明的一个方面,提供了一种OLED显示面板静态图案处理方法,包括:
侦测OLED显示面板上的静态图案;
根据图案特征对侦测到的静态图案分类;
根据分类后的静态图案选择相应的处理模式,以减少残影的产生。
根据本发明的一个实施例,侦测OLED显示面板上的静态图案进一步包括:
提取显示画面中的图案轮廓;
计算具有相同图案轮廓的帧数量,如具有相同图案轮廓的帧数量超过预设值,则判断显示面板上出现了静态图案。
根据本发明的一个实施例,当将静态图案分类为细长边缘静态图案时,采用位移静态图案的处理模式。
根据本发明的一个实施例,采用位移静态图案的处理模式包括向显示面板的各个方向移动静态图案。
根据本发明的一个实施例,当将静态图案分类为大面积静态图案时,采用降低像素亮度的处理模式。
根据本发明的一个实施例,根据分类后的静态图案选择对应的处理模式之前还包括:
在判断显示面板上出现了静态图案后,判断是否处理过该静态图案:
如判断处理过该静态图案,则调用并优化之前针对该静态图案的处理模式;
如判断未处理过该静态图案,则对该静态图案分类并选择相应的处理模式。
根据本发明的另一个方面,还提供了一种OLED显示面板驱动系统,包括:
时序控制器,用于将图像数据处理为输出图像数据和时序控制信号;
数据驱动器,与所述时序控制器连接,将输出图像数据转换为数据驱动信号后输出给显示面板;
扫描驱动器,与所述时序控制器连接,将时序控制信号转换为扫描驱动信号后输出给显示面板,
其中,所述显示面板还包括静态图案处理器,其与时序控制器连接,用于对输入的原始静态图案进行相应的处理后再输出给时序控制器,以减少残影的产生。
根据本发明的一个实施例,所述静态图案处理器包括:
侦测单元,侦测单元用于检测输入图像,以确定显示面板上的静态图案;
控制单元,与侦测单元连接,用于根据图案特征对侦测到的静态图案分类;
图像数据处理单元,与控制单元连接,根据控制单元对静态图案的分类结果对原始图像进行处理后输出以用于面板显示。
根据本发明的一个实施例,静态图案处理器设置于时序控制器中。
根据本发明的一个实施例,静态图案处理器独立设置于驱动系统中。
本发明的有益效果:
本发明在面板某些区域显示静态图案时,缩短需要长时间显示同一图案的OLED发光时间,减少残影的产生。

具体实施方式
以下将结合附图及实施例来详细说明本发明的实施方式,借此对本发明如何应用技术手段来解决技术问题,并达成技术效果的实现过程能充分理解并据以实施。需要说明的是,只要不构成冲突,本发明中的各个实施例以及各实施例中的各个特征可以相互结合,所形成的技术方案均在本发明的保护范围之内。
如图2所示为根据本发明的一个实施例的方法流程图,图3所示为根据本发明的一个实施例的算法流程图,以下参考图2和图3来对本发明进行详细说明。
首先是步骤S110侦测OLED显示面板上的静态图案。具体的,如图3所示,在出现显示画面后,提取画面中的图案轮廓。然后计算具有相同图案轮廓的帧数量,如具有相同图案轮廓的帧数量超过预设值n,则判断显示面板上出现了静态图案。
接着是步骤S120根据图案特征对侦测到的静态图案分类。具体的,不同的静态图案在位置、亮度等信息方面具有不同的特征,针对这些不同的图案特征可以对静态图案进行分类,例如有的静态图案为大面积图案(如图5a-5b中图案所示,此处的大面积表示该静态图案占据屏幕的比例较大,是相对于显示屏幕而言达到一定比例),有的静态图案为细长边缘图案(如图4这4部分中图案所示)等。由于静态图案的种类多种多样,各种类的静态图案处理方式也不相同,此处无法穷举,只以图4中图案和图5a-5b中图案为例进行说明,但本发明不限于此。
最后是步骤S130根据分类后的静态图案选择对应的处理模式,以减少残影的产生。具体的,针对不同分类的静态图案选择不同的处理模式,例如,当将静态图案分类为细长边缘静态图案时,可以采用位移静态图案的处理模式,该处理模式包括向显示面板的各个方向移动静态图案。将图中的每个方格代表一个像素,如图4所示,静态区域主要集中在细长的边缘,对于此类静态图案,让静态图案不断向上下左右各个方向轻微位移,避免像素长时间显示相同信息而导致残影。
当将静态图案分类为大面积静态图案时,采用降低像素亮度的处理模式。如图5a-5b所示,粗线框中表示静态区域,对于这样的大面积的静态图案,可以采用适当降低像素亮度的方法,以延迟残影出现时间,减缓残影恶化速度。
以上针对图4及图5a-5b的图案处理方法的原理是缩短需要长时间显示同一图案的OLED发光时间,减少残影产生。
在本发明的一个实施例中,根据分类后的静态图案选择对应的处理模式之前还包括在判断显示面板上出现了静态图案后,判断是否处理过该静态图案:如判断处理过该静态图案,则调用并优化之前针对该静态图案的处理模式;如判断未处理过该静态图案,则对该静态图案分类并选择相应的处理模式。

根据本发明的另一个方面,还提供了一种OLED显示面板驱动系统。该驱动系统包括时序控制器、数据驱动器和扫描驱动器,如图6所示,时序控制器分别与数据驱动器和扫描驱动器连接,时序控制器将图像数据处理为输出图像数据和时序控制信号,并将输出图像数据输出给数据驱动器,将时序控制信号输出给扫描驱动器。其中,该显示面板还包括一静态图案处理模块,其与时序控制器连接,用于对输入的原始静态图案进行相应的处理后再输出给时序控制器,以减少残影的产生。
在本发明的一个实施例中,该静态图案处理器包括侦测单元、控制单元和图像数据处理单元,如图7所示。其中,侦测单元用于检测输入图像,以确定显示面板上的静态图案;控制单元与侦测单元连接,用于根据图案特征对侦测到的静态图案分类,对静态图案的分类决定了对其使用的处理方法。图像处理单元与控制单元连接,根据控制单元对静态图案的分类结果对原始图像进行处理后输出以用于面板显示。
在本发明的一个实施例中,该静态图案处理器设置于时序控制器中,具体的,将该静态图案处理器设置于时序控制器的前端,图像数据首先进入此模块,处理后再输出至时序控制器中其他电路。在本发明的另一个实施例中,该静态图案处理器独立设置于驱动系统中,并位于时序控制器前端,原始图像数据首先进入此模块,处理后的图像数据再输出至时序控制器。当然,该静态图案处理器也可以设置在驱动系统的其他位置,本发明不限于此。

1.一种OLED显示面板静态图案处理方法,包括:
侦测OLED显示面板上的静态图案;
根据图案特征对侦测到的静态图案分类;
根据分类后的静态图案选择相应的处理模式,以减少残影的产生。
2.根据权利要求1所述的处理方法,其特征在于,侦测OLED显示面板上的静态图案进一步包括:
提取显示画面中的图案轮廓;
计算具有相同图案轮廓的帧数量,如具有相同图案轮廓的帧数量超过预设值,则判断显示面板上出现了静态图案。
3.根据权利要求1所述的处理方法,其特征在于,当将静态图案分类为细长边缘静态图案时,采用位移静态图案的处理模式。
4.根据权利要求3所述的处理方法,其特征在于,采用位移静态图案的处理模式包括向显示面板的各个方向移动静态图案。
5.根据权利要求1所述的处理方法,其特征在于,当将静态图案分类为大面积静态图案时,采用降低像素亮度的处理模式。
6.根据权利要求1所述的处理方法,其特征在于,根据分类后的静态图案选择对应的处理模式之前还包括:
在判断显示面板上出现了静态图案后,判断是否处理过该静态图案:
如判断处理过该静态图案,则调用并优化之前针对该静态图案的处理模式;
如判断未处理过该静态图案,则对该静态图案分类并选择相应的处理模式。
7.一种OLED显示面板驱动系统,包括:
时序控制器,用于将图像数据处理为输出图像数据和时序控制信号;
数据驱动器,与所述时序控制器连接,将输出图像数据转换为数据驱动信号后输出给显示面板;
扫描驱动器,与所述时序控制器连接,将时序控制信号转换为扫描驱动信号后输出给显示面板,
其中,所述显示面板还包括静态图案处理器,其与时序控制器连接,用于对输入的原始静态图案进行相应的处理后再输出给时序控制器,以减少残影的产生。
8.根据权利要求7所述的驱动系统,其特征在于,所述静态图案处理器包括:
侦测单元,侦测单元用于检测输入图像,以确定显示面板上的静态图案;
控制单元,与侦测单元连接,用于根据图案特征对侦测到的静态图案分类;
图像数据处理单元,与控制单元连接,根据控制单元对静态图案的分类结果对原始图像进行处理后输出以用于面板显示。
9.根据权利要求7所述的驱动系统,其特征在于,静态图案处理器设置于时序控制器中。
10.根据权利要求7所述的驱动系统,其特征在于,静态图案处理器独立设置于驱动系统中。
