Abstract
本发明涉及可用于泡罩包装等的封盖材料。具体地,本发明涉及用于泡罩包装的封盖材料,其包括基材纸,在所述基材纸上存在有预阻挡层和乳胶涂层,其中所述预阻挡层存在于基材纸和乳胶涂层之间,其中如ISO标准2758所定义的,所述封盖材料的缪伦破裂强度为80‑200kPa,如ISO标准1974所定义的,所述封盖材料的撕裂强度为100‑400mN,以及水蒸汽透过率为≤4g/m2/天(如ASTM F1249所定义的,在38℃的温度,100%的相对湿度下测得),并且其中所述封盖材料任选地还包括相邻于所述乳胶涂层的密封剂层。
Description
本发明涉及可用于泡罩包装等的封盖材料。
在本领域中,所谓泡罩包装通常用于包装小制品,例如单次剂量单位的药丸或其它药物,以及口香糖或其它甜食。这种类型的包装包括所谓的封盖箔,其粘附在聚物“泡罩”上,即形成一片具有能单独装纳制品的袋的聚合物材料。
可通过在所述袋的位置挤压聚合物泡罩片直到覆盖的封盖箔破坏而将泡罩包装的内容物从所述包装中移出。已知这种类型的泡罩包装通常是推动型(push-through type)的。推动型泡罩包装的两个重要要求是(i)所述封盖箔足够脆从而当向覆盖箔挤压袋中的内容物时覆盖箔破坏,以及(ii)聚合物泡罩片足够延展从而可以例如用拇指使其变形。
生产商最常用的泡罩包装是易于生产的,通过提供对空气和水分的完全阻挡并防止干扰来满足其内容物的保存期限要求。此外,泡罩包装中使用的覆盖箔必须是易于印刷的,从而可将特定的信息印刷在每个单独袋的背面以利于消费者和生产商。
一种最常制造的泡罩包装类型包括覆盖箔,通常为铝箔,在所述覆盖箔上施加了热密封漆。在聚合物泡罩片中常用的聚合物包括聚氯乙烯(PVC)、涂覆有聚偏二氯乙烯(PVDC)的PVC、聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(PET)、聚氯三氟乙烯(PCTFE)、环状烯烃共聚物(COC)和聚丙烯(PP)。由于具有更好的水分和空气阻挡性,并且比例如仅是PVC的情况更具惰性,因此更优选PCTFE、涂覆有PVDC的PVC和PP。
全文纳入本文的WO-A-2009/105858描述了用于泡罩包装的覆盖箔。WO-A-2009/105858的覆盖箔包括铝箔层,在其上通过挤出涂覆施加了同时作为粘结层和密封剂层的一层或多层,得到具有改善的阻挡性和惰性性质的覆盖箔。所述覆盖箔的不足之处在于使用铝箔使其既昂贵又难于回收。另一不足之处在于难以在铝上印刷。此外,通常不认为铝是可再生材料。
全文纳入本文的US-A-2010/0170820阐述了一种用于泡罩包装的纸基封盖材料,该封盖材料包括纸层,在所述纸层上是含有环状烯烃共聚物(COC)的阻挡层。US-A-2010/0170820阐述了可通过用一层或多层含有环状烯烃共聚物的阻挡层挤出涂覆或层叠所述纸层来生产所述封盖材料。
不过,使用US-A-2010/0170820的封盖材料的不足之处在于其容易脱层。保护性阻挡层的脱层导致了封盖材料不能在泡罩包装中提供有效的空气和水分阻挡,这缩短了内容物的保存期限。另一不足之处在于所述封盖材料对于处理敏感。因此,在运输和处理过程中所述封盖材料会更易于损坏,这会危害所述包装的阻挡性质并导致不可接受的经济损失。
IN-A-1239/MUM/2006阐述了用于泡罩包装的纸基封盖材料,其包括纸层,所述纸层在一侧涂覆有至少一层阻挡涂层和热密封涂层以及在另一侧涂覆有光学漆涂层。这些封盖材料的缪伦破裂强度(Mullen burst strength)或撕裂强度都没有在IN-A-1239/MUM/2006中阐述。
因此,本发明的目的是提供一种用于泡罩包装等的改善的封盖材料。
令人惊喜地发现,不仅可改善封盖材料的阻挡性质,还可改善其印刷性,特别是如果使用的封盖材料包含基材纸,在所述基材纸上有乳胶涂层的话。此外,还发现这样的封盖材料具有高含量的可再生材料并且更易于回收。
因此,本发明涉及用于泡罩包装的封盖材料,其包括基材纸,在所述基材纸上存在有预阻挡层和乳胶涂层,其中所述预阻挡层存在于基材纸和乳胶涂层之间,其中如ISO标准2758所定义的,所述封盖材料的缪伦破裂强度为约80-200kPa,如ISO标准1974所定义的,所述封盖材料的撕裂强度为约100-400mN,以及水蒸汽透过率为≤4g/m2/天(如ASTM F1249所定义的,在38℃的温度下,在100%的相对湿度下测得),并且其中所述封盖材料任选地还包括相邻于所述乳胶涂层的密封剂层。
根据本发明,所述封盖材料的预阻挡层和乳胶涂层以及任选的密封剂层一起作用以密封所述基材纸,从而基材纸的水蒸汽渗透性和孔隙率显著减少,从而提供具有良好阻挡性质的封盖材料。
本发明的封盖材料一般包括一层或多层乳胶涂层。如本文所定义的,术语“乳胶”是聚合物微颗粒在水性介质中的稳定的分散体(乳液)。所述乳胶涂层可合适地包括选自下组的水可分散的聚合物:苯乙烯-丁二烯橡胶、丙烯腈-丁二烯-苯乙烯、丙烯酸类聚合物、聚乙酸乙烯酯、PVDC、PCTFE、COC和它们的组合。优选地,所述乳胶涂层包括PVDC和/或PCTFE。
通常使用的乳胶涂层的重量为5-50g/m2,优选为10-40g/m2,以及最优选为15-30g/m2。
本发明的封盖材料一般包括一层或多层预阻挡层涂层。可使用的预阻挡层包括丙烯酸基粘合剂和任选的一种或多种颜料。具有预阻挡层的封盖材料的益处在于,所述预阻挡层不仅增强了所述基材纸还提供了封闭的表面结构。通常,如ISO标准5636-3所定义的,涂覆有预阻挡层的基材纸具有0毫升/分钟的本特森孔隙率(Bendtsen porosity)。
可在所述预阻挡层中使用的丙烯酸基粘合剂包括聚丙烯酸酯类,其包括丙烯酸烷基酯、和/或聚甲基丙烯酸烷基酯及其组合,其中所述烷基具有1-10个碳原子,优选为1-4个碳原子。合适的聚丙烯酸酯类还可包括苯乙烯和/或乙酸乙烯基酯。所述聚丙烯酸酯类可选自一种或多种上述聚丙烯酸酯类的均聚物、共聚物(例如嵌段共聚物、无规共聚物和接枝共聚物)、混合物、复合物、交联和掺混物。如通过Brookfield粘度计,使用2号心轴以100rpm并在45℃的温度下测量的,在预阻挡层中使用的丙烯酸基粘合剂优选具有约100-400mPa·s的粘度。
所述预阻挡层还可包括共粘合剂,例如淀粉、酪蛋白、蛋白质、聚丙烯酸酯、聚乙烯醇及它们的组合。
预阻挡层中可存在的一种或多种颜料包括无机颜料,优选板状(即片状)无机颜料,例如云母、硅酸铝(例如高岭土(也称为中国粘土))、硅酸镁(例如滑石)、以及铁氧化物等。
所述预阻挡层还可包括一种或多种添加剂,例如保水助剂、流变改性剂、以及施胶剂等。
根据本发明的封盖材料还可包括一层或多层任选的密封剂层。所述密封剂层可包括聚合物,例如聚乙烯、聚丙烯(PP)、聚羟基烷酸酯(PHA)、无定形聚交酯(PLA)、蜡、淀粉、聚乙醇酸(PGA)、生物可降解的聚酯、乙烯-丙烯(EP)共聚物、丙烯-丁烯(PB)共聚物、乙烯-丁烯(EB)共聚物、乙烯-丙烯-丁烯(EPB)三元共聚物、乙烯乙酸乙烯酯(EVA)共聚物、甲基丙烯酸丁酯聚合物、氯乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯-乙烯三元共聚物和它们的组合。优选地,所述密封剂层包括氯乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯-乙烯三元共聚物。
通常,本发明的覆盖纸的所述任选密封剂层的重量为5-20g/m2,以及优选为5-15g/m2。
通常,适用于根据本发明的封盖材料的基材纸包括纤维素和一种或多种添加剂。可存在于所述基材纸中的合适的添加剂包括填料颜料、湿强度剂、交联剂、助留剂、固定助剂、着色颜料、染料及其组合。可用于基材纸中的纤维素的类型包括软木纤维素、硬木纤维素和它们的混合物。
通常使用的基材纸的重量为30-100g/m2,优选为30-80g/m2,以及最优选为35-60g/m2。
所述基材纸的缪伦破裂强度和抗撕裂性在操作窗口中协同作用。更具体地,对于良好的推动经验,具有较高破裂强度值的基材纸通常需要较低的撕裂强度值。相反地,具有较低缪伦破裂强度值的基材纸通常需要较高的撕裂强度值以防止包装损坏。
如ISO标准2758所定义的,根据本发明的封盖材料的缪伦破裂强度通常为约80-200kPa,以及优选为约100-180kPa。
通过缪伦测试仪(Mullen tester)的方式来测量缪伦破裂强度。将试样(例如封盖材料)放置在环形夹具中,并通过橡胶隔膜使所述试样经受增加的压力,所述压力在控制的速率下通过液压增加,直到试样破裂。记录在破裂当时读取的压强作为破裂强度。
如ISO标准1974所定义的,根据本发明的封盖材料的撕裂强度通常为约100-400mN,以及优选为约200-300mN。如本文中所用的术语“撕裂强度”包括加工方向(MD)上的撕裂强度和在加工方向的横向方向(CD)上的撕裂强度。
通过埃乐曼多夫(Elmendorf)设备的方式测定撕裂强度,其中落锤撕裂了试样(例如所述封盖材料)。随后由所述摆锤的能量计算出撕裂所述试样所需的力。
如ASTM F1249所定义的,在38℃的温度和100%的相对湿度下测定的本发明的封盖材料的水蒸汽透过率通常为≤4g/m2/天,以及优选为1-3g/m2/天。
对于泡罩包装而言,特别是当用于包装对水敏感的制品(例如食物和药物)时,水蒸汽透过率是重要的参数。这样的泡罩包装必须具有满足所述制品所需的质量、安全和保存期限要求的足够低的水蒸汽透过率。有利的是,本发明的封盖材料满足这些要求。
决定了水蒸汽透过率测量的条件对所述结果也有相当大的影响。样品的温度和相对湿度都需要测量、控制并记录结果。没有规定这些条件所测得的水蒸汽透过率结果几乎是没有意义的。
US-A-2010/0170820文件阐述了测量用于泡罩包装的不同封盖材料的水蒸汽透过率。不过US-A-2010/0170820没有阐述在何种温度或相对湿度下进行的这些测量。
根据本发明的封盖材料的另一益处在于,所述封盖材料可密封于各种聚合物泡罩片,特别是用于泡罩包装等。
在另一实施方式中,本发明涉及含有根据本发明的封盖材料的泡罩包装,所述封盖材料被密封于聚合物泡罩片。
可用于根据本发明的泡罩包装的合适的聚合物泡罩片包括选自下组的聚合物:非塑化的PVC、涂覆有PVDC的PVC、PET、PCTFE、COC、聚苯乙烯(PS)、聚乙烯(PE)、PP、聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯二醇(polyethyleneterephthalate glycol,PETG)、无定形聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(APET)及它们的组合。优选地,选择的聚合物是PVC、涂覆有PVDC的PVC、PCTFE、PETG、APET和/或PP。
在另一个实施方式中,本发明涉及制备用于泡罩包装的封盖材料,其中通过涂覆工艺的方式将预阻挡层施加在基材纸上,随后通过进一步涂覆工艺的方式将乳胶涂层施加在基材纸上的预阻挡层上,以及随后任选地通过进一步涂覆工艺的方式将密封剂层施加在乳胶涂层上。
优选地,将所述预阻挡层和乳胶涂层都施加在所述基材纸的平滑侧。如本文中所定义的,所述纸的平滑侧通常是在纸张制备工艺中在造纸机上接触缆线的纸的一侧。
用乳胶涂料涂覆基材纸的合适方法包括反向凹印涂覆工艺、滚涂工艺、丝网涂覆工艺(the screen coating process)、以及幕涂工艺等。优选使用的涂覆工艺是反向凹印涂覆工艺。使用反向凹印涂覆工艺的益处在于,由于在所述工艺中使用轮廓跟踪原理(the contour-following principle)制备,使得较薄的乳胶涂层被施加到基材纸上。
在将乳胶涂层施加到所述基材纸之前,将预阻挡层施加至所述基材纸的平滑侧。其可通过涂覆工艺,例如胶压制处理完成。
可通过上述适用于施加乳胶涂层的涂覆工艺中的任一种将所述任选的密封剂层施加在乳胶涂层上。优选地,使用的涂覆工艺与施加乳胶涂层时所用的工艺一致。
在另一实施方式中,本发明涉及用于制备泡罩包装的方法,所述方法包括将根据本发明的封盖材料密封至含有一种或多种制品的聚合物泡罩片中。
用于根据本发明的制备泡罩包装的合适的设备包括封装机和标准包装机。
在本发明制备泡罩包装的方法中常用的聚合物泡罩片与上文所述的相同。
包含在根据本发明的泡罩包装中的所述一种或多种制品可合适地选自下组:丸剂形式、片剂形式和胶囊形式的药物;以及非药物,包括口香糖、甜食、维生素以及膳食或营养补充剂。本发明的封盖材料可用于各种用途。特别优选地,所述封盖材料用于生产泡罩包装,所述泡罩包装用于丸剂形式、片剂形式、以及胶囊形式等的药物;也用于非药物,例如口香糖、甜食、维生素和膳食或营养补充剂,以及各种如一次性接触镜片或助听器电池之类的其它物质。通过增加基材纸重量和强度性质(例如可通过改变用于制备基材纸的化学纸浆中的长纤维/短纤维比例和/或改变精制能来调节撕裂强度),所述封盖材料也可用来密封用于食物和饮料的容器,所述食物和饮料是例如酸奶、布丁、奶油冻、果冻、水果酱/汁、涂抹干酪、蘸料和奶制品饮料。此外,所述封盖材料可用于食品佐料的单次使用小袋,所述食品佐料包括芥末、番茄酱、以及蛋黄酱等;以及用于化妆品样品的单次使用小袋,所述化妆品是例如彩妆、香水、洗发水、保湿霜和防晒霜。
图1示意性地显示了根据本发明的封盖材料,其包括(1)基材纸、(2)预阻挡层、(3)乳胶涂层以及(4)任选的密封剂层。
图2显示了两种类型的泡罩包装的照片。照片左手侧的泡罩包装对应于包含铝封盖的已知类型。照片右手侧的那个对应于根据本发明的泡罩包装。
现根据以下非限制性实施例说明本发明。
实施例:
使用仅由化学纸浆制备的基材纸制备实施例1-9的泡罩封盖纸,其由约90重量%的短纤维和约10重量%的长纤维组成,将所述基材纸精制成约24级的打浆度,其用肖伯尔-黎格勒测试仪(Schopper Riegler tester)测量。使用的基材纸也包含基于碳酸钙的填料,含量为约5-10重量%。
通过反向凹印涂覆工艺,用乳胶涂料在线下涂覆实施例1-9。所述乳胶涂料以水基PVDC分散体施用。
在涂覆乳胶涂层前,实施例2-9也通过施胶压制法涂覆了预阻挡层。以含有苯乙烯-丙烯酸基粘合剂和基于聚丙烯酰胺流变改性剂的高岭土分散体施用所述预阻挡层。在基材纸上施用预阻挡层得到了所述纸的封闭的表面结构,如通过ISO标准5636-3所定义的,其具有0毫升/分钟的本特森孔隙率。
通过反向凹印涂覆工艺,实施例4、6和7线下涂覆了密封剂层。所述密封剂层由氯乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯-乙烯三元共聚物构成。
随后在泡罩包装机中,将实施例1-7的泡罩封盖纸与厚度为250μm的预先形成的PVC泡罩片密封。在泡罩包装机中将实施例8与涂覆有预先形成的PVDC的PVC泡罩片密封,其中,分别地,PVDC涂层的厚度为40μm,PVC泡罩片的厚度为250μm。将实施例9与预先形成的PET-GAG(即含有由PETG-APET-PETG组成的三层的共挤出的膜)泡罩片密封,所述泡罩片的厚度也为250μm。用口香糖糖衣丸填充泡罩包装实施例的袋。
参考实施例1-3对应于LT5008 winpak,以及两种类型的铝合金AA8079temper H 20箔,其各自具有1.5g/m2印刷底漆和7g/m2热密封漆,总重量分别为65g/m2和51g/m2。参考实施例4对应于US-2010/0170820的泡罩包装的所述值,其中没有说明测量WVTR值的环境。参考实施例5对应于包含厚度为250μm的PVC的泡罩层。
测定制备的泡罩包装实施例的以下性质并显示在表1中。

+中等(封盖材料在泡罩片上粘合良好,但仅通过将密封时间和温度增加到高于用于将泡罩材料密封至封盖材料的密封机的标准操作条件时)。
++良好(封盖材料预泡罩片的粘性与铝泡罩包装的粘性相当,不需要调整密封机所施用的标准操作条件)。

不适用不可应用(封盖材料没有粘合到泡罩片上,从而不能测定该性质)

Claims (15)
1.用于泡罩包装等的封盖材料,其包括基材纸,在所述基材纸上存在有预阻挡层和乳胶涂层,其中所述预阻挡层存在于所述基材纸和乳胶涂层之间,其中,所述封盖材料的缪伦破裂强度为80-200kPa,所述封盖材料按照ASTMF1249所定义的,在38℃的温度、100%的相对湿度下测得的水蒸汽透过率为≤4g/m2/天,所述封盖材料按照ISO标准1974所定义的撕裂强度为100-400mN,并且其中所述封盖材料任选地还包括相邻于所述乳胶涂层的密封剂层。
2.如权利要求1所述的封盖材料,其特征在于,所述乳胶涂层包括选自下组的水可分散的聚合物:苯乙烯-丁二烯橡胶、丙烯腈丁二烯苯乙烯、丙烯酸聚合物、聚乙酸乙烯酯、聚偏二氯乙烯、聚氯三氟乙烯、环状烯烃共聚物和它们的组合,优选为聚偏二氯乙烯和/或聚氯三氟乙烯。
3.如权利要求1或2所述的封盖材料,其特征在于,所述乳胶涂层的重量为5-50g/m2,优选为10-40g/m2,以及最优选为15-30g/m2。
4.如前述权利要求中任一项所述的封盖材料,其特征在于,所述基材纸的重量为30-100g/m2,优选为30-80g/m2,以及最优选为35-60g/m2。

7.如前述权利要求中任一项所述的封盖材料,其特征在于,所述基材纸还包含一种或多种选自下组的添加剂:填料颜料、湿强度剂、交联剂、助留剂、固定助剂、着色颜料、染料和它们的组合。
8.如前述权利要求中任一项所述的封盖材料,其特征在于,所述预阻挡层包括丙烯酸基粘合剂和任选的一种或多种颜料。
9.如前述权利要求中任一项所述的封盖材料,其特征在于,所述密封剂层包括选自下组的聚合物:聚乙烯、聚丙烯、聚羟基烷酸酯、无定形聚交酯、蜡、淀粉、聚乙醇酸、生物可降解的聚酯、乙烯-丙烯共聚物、丙烯-丁烯共聚物、乙烯-丁烯共聚物、乙烯-丙烯-丁烯三元共聚物、乙烯乙酸乙烯酯共聚物、甲基丙烯酸丁酯聚合物、氯乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯-乙烯三元共聚物和它们的组合,优选为氯乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯-乙烯三元共聚物。
10.泡罩包装,其包括密封至聚合物泡罩片的如前述权利要求中任一项所述的封盖材料。
11.如权利要求10所述的泡罩包装,其特征在于,所述聚合物泡罩片包括选自下组的聚合物:非塑化的聚氯乙烯、涂覆有聚偏二氯乙烯的聚氯乙烯、聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯、聚氯三氟乙烯、环状烯烃共聚物、聚苯乙烯、聚乙烯、聚丙烯、聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯二醇、无定形的聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯和它们的组合物,以及优选为聚氯三氟乙烯、聚氯乙烯、涂覆有聚偏二氯乙烯的聚氯乙烯、聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯二醇、无定形的聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯和/或聚丙烯。
12.用于制备根据权利要求1-9中任一项所述的封盖材料的方法,其中,通过涂覆工艺的方式将预阻挡层施加在基材纸上,随后通过进一步涂覆工艺的方式将乳胶涂层施加在所述基材纸上的所述预阻挡层上,以及任选地通过进一步涂覆工艺的方式将密封剂层施加在所述乳胶涂层上。
13.用于制备如权利要求10或11所述的泡罩包装的方法,其中,将封盖材料密封至含有一种或多种制品的聚合物泡罩片。
14.如权利要求13所述的方法,其特征在于,所述一种或多种制品选自下组:丸剂、片剂和胶囊形式的药物;以及包括口香糖、甜食、维生素和膳食或营养补充剂的非药物。
15.根据权利要求1-9中任一项所述的封盖材料的用途,其用于生产药物和非药物的泡罩包装、用于密封食物或饮料的容器、以及用于食物佐料和化妆品样品的单次使用小袋。
