According to the results, the traditional Chinese veterinary medicine feed additive can improve the slaughter average body weight, reduce the death rate, improve the feed utilization rate and promote the growth of the broilers in 4 henhouses using other medicines, wherein the slaughter average body weight of the chickens at 39 days is 2804g, the death rate after 32 days is 1.59%, and the feed-meat ratio is 1.76.

The traditional Chinese veterinary medicine feed additive is characterized by comprising the following raw materials in parts by weight: 5-10 parts of campanumoea, 5-10 parts of Chinese yam, 3-8 parts of red yeast rice, 1-5 parts of galangal, 10-30 parts of epimedium, 5-15 parts of poria cocos and 5-15 parts of liquorice; the preparation method of the traditional Chinese veterinary medicine feed additive comprises the following steps: (1) the traditional Chinese medicine crushing and mixing step: pulverizing radix Campanumoeae, rhizoma Dioscoreae, rhizoma Alpiniae Officinarum, herba Epimedii, Poria, and Glycyrrhrizae radix at a weight ratio to below 40 mesh, mixing, and sterilizing for 20min to obtain Chinese medicinal mixture; pulverizing red yeast to below 40 mesh, and mixing with the Chinese medicinal mixture to obtain mixture for fermentation; (2) and (3) microbial fermentation: adding ammonium sulfate and a mixed strain I into the mixture for fermentation obtained in the step of crushing and mixing the traditional Chinese medicines, wherein the adding amount of the ammonium sulfate is 0.1-1% of the amount of the mixture for the traditional Chinese medicines, the inoculation amount of the mixed strain I is 1-10% of the amount of the mixture for the traditional Chinese medicines, then adding a proper amount of water until the water content of the mixture for fermentation is more than 40%, placing the mixture for fermentation in a closed space at the temperature of 15-40 ℃, and fermenting for 36-72 hours; and after the fermentation is finished, spraying mixed strains II with the amount of 1-10% of the fermentation mixture on the surface of the fermentation product, and continuing fermenting for more than 36 hours to obtain the veterinary traditional Chinese medicine feed additive.

The anti-stress traditional Chinese veterinary medicine feed additive for improving the production performance according to claim 1, which is characterized in that the raw materials of the traditional Chinese veterinary medicine feed additive comprise the following traditional Chinese medicinal materials in parts by weight: 8 parts of campanumoea root, 7 parts of yam, 5 parts of red yeast rice, 3 parts of galangal, 20 parts of epimedium herb, 10 parts of tuckahoe and 10 parts of liquorice.
