A platform-based container mainly comprises an underframe 1 and an end frame 2 arranged at the end part of the underframe, and is free of side plates and a top structure, so that goods can be loaded and unloaded from the side and the top, and the platform-based container is mainly used for transporting ultra-large goods such as engineering machinery, large vehicles and the like, and is ultra-wide, ultra-high, ultra-heavy and the like.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, the minimum opening of the top of the heavy-duty rack container is 12172mm, namely, the unilateral allowable deviation is 15mm, the container corner is a main part of the container, generally 8 corners of the container are used for supporting, stacking, carrying and bolting the container, the corner generally comprises a top corner piece arranged at the top and a bottom corner piece arranged at the bottom, the corner of the end frame 2 is provided with a container top corner piece, the height of the general rack container is 8 feet 6 inches (2438mm), 9 feet 6 feet (2896mm), and under the condition of rated load, when the single-sided material strength of the bottom frame 1 is considered to obtain sufficient safety factor, the top opening of the end frame 2 is close to 15 mm.

As shown in fig. 6a-6c, the container corner piece 20 of the present invention is of a rectangular structure (rectangular parallelepiped structure), the container corner piece 20 has a top plate 23, side plates 21 and end plates 22, the top plate 23, side plates 21 and end plates 22 are arranged perpendicular to each other so that the container corner piece 20 is constructed as a rectangular parallelepiped, which may be of a unitary construction, the container corner piece 20 has an internal cavity enclosed by the side plates 21, top plate 23 and end plates 22, a top hole 231 is provided in the top plate 23, and the length L6' of the top hole 231 ranges from a minimum (greater) 134mm to a maximum 161mm in size so that the allowable movable range in the length direction of the container corner piece on a single end frame is greater than 15mm when the rack container carries cargo.
In the illustrated embodiment, the container corner fitting 20 has a top plate 23, two end plates 22 are vertically connected to the respective ends of the top plate 23, and two side plates 21 vertically connect the two end plates 22 and the top plate 23, respectively. The top hole 231 is an elongated hole, and a side hole 211 is formed in the side plate 21.
According to the container top corner fitting, the change range of the opening degree of the corner columns of the platform type container is expanded by expanding the size of the top hole, so that the allowable displacement of the single-side corner columns, namely the allowable movable range of the corner columns and the container top corner fitting in the length direction of the container top corner fitting, is increased from 15mm to 42mm, the strength requirement of the container bottom frame is greatly reduced, the steel consumption is reduced, the purchase cost and the use cost of a client are reduced, and meanwhile, the logistics transportation efficiency is improved.
In an alternative embodiment, the thickness of the end plate 22 may be reduced to increase the length of the top hole 231, and optionally, the thickness of the end plate 22 is 3mm, so that the length of the top hole 231 may be enlarged to 161 mm. On the premise of meeting the use requirement of the ISO lifting appliance, the single-side allowable deformation is increased from 15mm to 42mm, compared with the standard container top corner piece 20, the strength is slightly reduced, the use standard of the ISO lifting appliance can be met, and the certification of the International Classification society is obtained. Therefore, the strength requirement of the container underframe is greatly reduced, the steel consumption is reduced, and the purchase cost and the use cost of customers are reduced.
As shown in fig. 9, the end plate 22 of the present invention may be provided with a thicker thickness L10' on both sides of the end plate 22 and a thinner thickness in the substantially middle portion of the end plate 22, i.e., the portion penetrating the top hole 231, to satisfy the operating requirements of the container spreader, i.e., a recess 222 may be provided, which not only ensures the normal use of the top hole 231, but also provides the container corner piece 20 with better strength.
As shown in fig. 6a-6c, in an alternative embodiment, the length L3 ', width L5 ', and height L4 ' of the container corner fittings 20 of the present invention are the same size as the length L3, width L5, and height L4, respectively, of conventional container corner fittings, 178mm in length, 162mm in width, and 118mm in height.
The length L6 'of the top hole 231 of the container corner piece 20 of the present invention is preferably 143mm, and in this case the end plate 22 is 20.5mm thick as shown in figure 8. in order not to affect the operation of the top hole 231, the end hole 221 may be reserved as shown in figure 9, and in this case the length L6' of the top hole 231 may be increased from 134mm to 143mm, and the increased 9mm may allow the allowable displacement of the single-sided corner post to be increased from 15mm to 24 mm.
The end panels 22 of standard corner fitting size container corner fittings 20 are relatively thin, as shown in fig. 7, and typically do not have end holes 221 because the strength is not sufficient for container handling. In special cases, holes may be provided for drainage or other functions.
The dimensions of the container corner fitting of the invention are consistent with those of the conventional container top corner fitting, namely the length is as follows: 178mm, width: 162mm and a height of 118 mm. Conventional size container corner fittings are generally not provided with end holes 221 for the erected container corner fittings. In special cases, in order to reserve the position where the end hole 221 is provided, it is necessary to enlarge the size of the container corner fitting 20 such as the width so that the end hole 221 avoids the operation space of the enlarged top hole 231. In an alternative embodiment, the center lines of the top hole 231 and the end hole 221 are shifted, but the end hole 221 may be disposed outside the top hole 231, that is, the end hole 221 may be disposed outside the top hole 231 and, similarly, may be disposed inside the top hole 231 (inside the box).
The invention also discloses a platform-based container, which comprises an underframe 1 and end frames 2 arranged at two ends of the underframe, wherein the top parts of the end frames 2 are provided with the container top corner pieces 20.
The specific parameters of the rack container according to the present invention are, for example: a length of 40 feet (12192mm), a height of 14 feet and 3 inches (4344mm), a design load of 25 tons, and a height requirement of 3951mm in the tank. The distance of the bottom corner piece from the lower surface of the bottom side member was set to 15 mm. Therefore, the height of the bottom side beam is 378mm, and 2 times of safety factor needs to be designed according to the actual use requirement of the container.
If a conventional container header having a header hole 231 of 134mm in length is used, it is calculated that 4 bottom side members, such as i-beams in cross-section, are used, the dimensions of the bottom side members being: height 378mm, width of wing plate 283mm, thickness of 16mm and thickness of web 5 mm. At the moment, the strength of the underframe is 140Mpa, and the single-side corner post displacement beam is 15mm due to the concave deformation of the underframe 1, so that the actual use requirement can be met. However, the strength of the chassis 1 is greatly different from the material yield strength 345Mpa, which results in a serious waste of materials. In addition, the weight of the 4 girders is about 4T, and the weight of the whole box is 7.5T, so that the transportation weight and the cost are increased.
For a bench container equipped with the container corner fittings 20 of the present invention having the same parameters, it was calculated that 2 bottom side beams, likewise i-beam sections, of the dimensions: height 378mm, wing width 250mm, thickness 16mm, web thickness 5 mm. At the moment, the strength of the underframe is 320Mpa, and the single-side corner post displacement beam is 35mm due to the concave deformation of the underframe 1, so that the actual use requirement can be met. At the moment, the strength of the underframe 1 is close to the material yield strength 345Mpa, the material is fully and reasonably utilized, the weight of the girder of the 2 bottom side beams is about 1.8T, and the weight of the whole box is 5.3T. The weight of the whole box is reduced to 5.3T from 7.5T, and 2.2T steel can be saved by a single box, so that the purchase cost of customer equipment is greatly reduced, and the logistics transportation efficiency is improved.
The container top corner fitting is not only suitable for being used with an ultrahigh platform type container, but also suitable for being used with a platform type container with a common height (9 feet and 6 feet or 8 feet and 6 feet). In order to obtain higher cargo loading height, the container bottom frame is lower in height, so that the rigidity of the bottom frame is weaker, the elastic deformation of the bottom frame is larger, and the opening degree of the top of the end frame is also larger; if the rigidity is enhanced, it is necessary to reinforce the bottom side member or increase the number of the bottom side members, resulting in a large increase in the amount of steel used. The corner fitting of the invention is also suitable for such a platform container of ordinary height with a less rigid bottom frame.

7. A platform container comprising a base frame and end frames disposed at either end of the base frame, wherein the top of the end frames is provided with container corner fittings as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 6.
