用于由存在于分份包装内的萃取物制备饮料的萃取装置例如作为咖啡机、意式浓缩咖啡机或茶水机被公开了且一如既往地越来越受喜爱。在许多相应系统中,分份包装呈胶囊状构成,萃取物例如被气密封存在胶囊中。为了萃取,胶囊在对置两侧被刺破。冲泡液(一般是热水)在第一侧被引入。冲泡制品在第二侧从胶囊中被引出。此外,根据待制备的饮料和系统,在胶囊内必然充满相当高的例如5-20巴的压力,对过滤咖啡或茶来说也较低。
作为胶囊材料,尤其公开了铝和塑料如聚丙烯。铝制胶囊带来萃取物的很好的耐久性(芳香保鲜),但制造时很费能量。聚丙烯胶囊就能耗和废物处理而言是有利的,但对刺破机构和芳香保鲜提出更高要求。
由WO2010/118543公开了一种咖啡分份胶囊,其近似具有立方体形状且不同于已知的杯形胶囊不具有在(顶侧)盖面的平面上环绕的凸缘。这种环绕凸缘在根据现有技术的胶囊系统中尤其是为了由平面盖(一般呈隔膜或箔状)封闭胶囊所需要的。当借助超声波焊接封闭时需要凸缘来安置能量定向器。如果胶囊被热封闭,则需要凸缘以便所述盖贴靠在足够大的面上。与此不同,根据WO2010/118543采用了一种隆起的盖并且例如借助超声波切割焊接进行封闭。因此,根据WO2010/118543的教导所制造的胶囊与其(立方体)形状无关地具有在由盖面限定的平面之间环绕的、仅构成最小凸缘的焊道,但其延伸尺寸/侧向突出相比于已知胶囊的凸缘被显著缩小。
根据WO2010/118543的胶囊具有也在该文献中做了描述的重要优点。但有这样的要求,在考虑环绕焊道的设定尺寸有限的情况下将所述盖可靠固定在主体上。对于借助于超声波焊接封闭的情况还存在以下要求,将能量定向器定位在其制造后的尺寸明显有限的环绕凸缘上,尤其当胶囊应深拉制造时。
发明内容
因此,本发明所提出的任务是如此改进如WO2010/118543所述类型的胶囊的制造方法,即,可以实现更简单的可制造性并且可靠而很耐压的胶囊封闭。
根据本发明的一个方面,一种胶囊制造方法具有以下步骤:
-提供由塑料制成的主体,其具有底面区域、环绕侧壁和与所述环绕侧壁相接的环绕的主体凸缘,其中所述主体在所述凸缘的区域内具有基本呈矩形的横截面;
-提供由塑料制成的盖(由与构成所述主体的一样的塑料构成,或者由成分不同的但能与主体塑料焊接的塑料构成)用于封闭胶囊,即与所述主体一起形成封闭的胶囊,其中所述盖与环绕的盖凸缘相接地向外形成隆起,其中所述环绕的盖凸缘在其设定尺寸方面与所述主体凸缘相配合;
-给所述主体装填萃取物;和
-将所述盖安放到所述主体上,从而所述盖凸缘抵靠所述主体凸缘,并且借助超声波焊接将所述盖凸缘固定在所述主体凸缘上。
该方法的特征是,所述盖具有在超声波焊接期间集中超声波能量的能量定向器,所述盖是深拉制造的,并且所述盖具有至少一个在所述盖凸缘的区域内在外表面上环绕的凹槽。
一种可利用这种方法制造的装有萃取物的胶囊具有:
-由塑料制成的主体,具有底面区域和环绕侧壁;和
-固定在所述主体上的由塑料制成的盖;,
-其中所述盖沿环绕的凸缘被固定在所述主体上,其中所述凸缘通过朝向盖侧与环绕侧壁相接的主体凸缘的超声波焊接和盖凸缘的超声波焊接来产生;
-其中所述主体在所述凸缘的区域中具有基本呈矩形的横截面;
-其中所述盖向外形成隆起,从而所述盖对胶囊体积做出贡献,
-其中,能量定向器被集成到所述盖凸缘中;
-其中所述盖通过深拉制造;
-并且其中所述盖具有至少一个在所述盖凸缘的区域中在外表面上环绕的凹槽。
用于焊接分份胶囊的超声波焊接方法的能量定向器是早就已知的并且例如也在WO2010/118543中有描述。但在此文献中教导了将定向器安置在主体的凸缘上。这在申请当时是用于超声焊接式分份胶囊的一般常规技术,并且主要存在以下认知,将定向器集成到盖中而不是主体中是既不可能、也不有利的。本发明现在首次提出,在所述盖上而不是在主体上设置这样的能量定向器,所述盖在超声波焊接方法期间因为装填主体而总是布置在上方。
这尤其带来以下优点:
第一,表明了在盖上可更容易地制造能量定向器。即,事实表明,对于尤其在横截面呈矩形的模具中深拉主体来说相对有挑战性的是将能量定向器安放在靠近环绕侧壁的窄凸缘上。
利用所提出的做法,本发明有助于使边缘保持为更窄且进而例如改善成品胶囊的可堆叠性和紧凑性。
第二,表明了,当该能量定向器位于焊头侧时,超声波焊接至少在所述类型的胶囊中更好地发挥作用。但是,因为该主体的装填而无法从下方即从主体开始操作焊头。本发明在此通过在所述盖上设置能量定向器来提供补救办法。
胶囊形状是这样的,主体的横截面在凸缘区域内基本呈矩形,例如基本为正方形。该凸缘本身如其外边缘也可以基本呈矩形、尤其呈正方形,“基本呈矩形”或“基本呈正方形”尤其不排除倒圆的角。
胶囊可以除了凸缘和或许有的盖隆起错移(见以下)外整体具有立方体或正方体形状,尤其是立方体形状。在实施方式中,该凸缘可以侧向突出至少0.8毫米、尤其至少1毫米和/或最大2毫米、尤其最大1.5毫米。这种设定尺寸(在0.8毫米至2毫米之间的宽度)的一个优点是在这里获得可堆叠性/紧凑性(小外包装)和可靠密封的最佳折中。另外,窄边缘有助于在冲泡单元中以正确取向来引导和保持,此时不用容忍已知的大凸缘的缺点(外形体积和在包装和冲泡单元中的相应占地要求;外观)。这与胶囊尺寸设定无关地整体适用,即凸缘的尺寸设定在实施方式中在所述区域中针对小胶囊完全与针对大胶囊一样地来选择。
立方体形状不排除例如在深拉胶囊中由制造决定的、环绕侧面相对于轴线(底面和/或盖面的垂直线)的例如最大3°、尤其最大2°或最大1.5°的倾斜度。
在基本呈立方体形的实施方式中,为了在约6克至约10克之间的咖啡装填量,立方体边的外长度例如在24和30毫米之间。为了更大的装填量,也不排除例如达到35毫米的更大尺寸。
所述主体具有底面区域和环绕侧壁并因此形成一种杯体,其通过所述盖被封闭。在此,所述底面区域可以是平坦的,但这不是必需的。
所述盖的形状可以从外到内具有盖凸缘、弯曲的过渡区和中心平面区,所述中心平面区构成真正的顶侧盖面。这样的平面区因为有造成隆起的过渡区而从盖凸缘的平面起向外降低。所述过渡区例如可以呈S形弯曲,或者始终从相对于凸缘平面成角度的外侧部分起朝向中心平面区弯曲延伸。在此,例如如此选择设定尺寸,即,所述中心平面区在外观上为主,做法是它例如与所述底面一样大或者仅略微(例如最大10%)小于底面。尤其在胶囊呈总体长方体形或立方体形构成时可以规定,该平面区占所述直径的超过60%且相应占所述面积的至少40%。
所述盖凸缘一般形成环绕的、面向盖侧的面,该面从凸缘外边缘起一直延伸向隆起的根部。可以在实施方式中规定,所述隆起的根部相比于与该凸缘相接的侧壁部分向内错移。这样的错移可以是例如至少0.2毫米。
所述主体和盖都由塑料制造。尤其可以规定,所述主体和盖由相同的塑料构成。提出聚丙烯作为材料例子,在此,可以加工出一个隔离层,其具有对于氧的阻隔性能并防止氧扩散到胶囊中。这样的隔离层例如具有乙烯-乙烯醇-共聚物(EVOH)。在主体区域内的壁厚尤其在0.1毫米至0.7毫米之间、最好在0.2毫米至0.4毫米之间、如在0.25毫米至0.35毫米之间。同样情况也可适用于盖的壁厚。在一个实施方式中,盖的壁厚近似等于主体的壁厚。
代替聚丙烯,也考虑其它塑料。也不排除将本发明应用在可超声波焊接的非塑料上。
该能量定向器可以如本身已知地具有肋条形状,例如具有V形轮廓。这样的肋条可以平行于凸缘走向环绕布置。也可以设有两个或更多的这种肋条。对于一个或多个肋条也不排除不平行于凸缘的走向。也可以想到其它的能量定向器形式,例如呈多个单独丘陵状凸起的环绕布置形式,等等。
所述盖在盖凸缘区域内在外表面即在背对主体的一侧具有所述环绕的凹槽,该凹槽有可能构成与能量定向器相逆的结构,其也在制造好的胶囊上可见的。这样的结构通过能量定向器的压入在以深拉方法制造盖时形成(因为其深度有限,故在盖上的深拉方法也可以被理解为是冲压方法),并且也可以在胶囊焊接时用作定心辅助机构。因此,例如可以在焊头上设置与凹槽形状互补的环绕肋条,借此能随即将所述盖定位于胶囊中心处。
所述主体也能通过深拉方法或者替代地通过注塑来制造。一般,所述主体和盖两者均是深拉的或注塑的,但也可以实现注塑的主体与深拉的盖的组合,反之也行。
主体凸缘和/或盖凸缘能以尺寸过大方式来提供。在焊接之后或与焊接同时地,超出区域随后被切掉,如通过超声波或通过冲切。
在实施方式中,所述盖或主体、但尤其是所述盖能具有定位辅助机构。这样的定位辅助机构尤其可以具有突出于主体凸缘和盖凸缘在此相互顶靠的平面的凸起。根据第一实施方式,定位辅助机构通过在盖凸缘或主体凸缘的区域内的肩部形成,其中具有肩部的区域随后被切掉。这样的肩部可以与主体凸缘或盖凸缘合作以便在使盖就位时相对于主体对准盖的方向。这样的肩部尤其在深拉制造时是有利的,因为它能简单制造。根据第二实施方式,定位辅助机构可以具有一个向内突出的定位凸起,该定位凸起设置在胶囊体积内且也相对于该主体对准所述盖的方向。
在实施方式中,这样的定位辅助机构不仅用于使所述盖相对于主体对准方向,而是也用于多个盖能在其加工完之后更好地堆叠。

具体实施方式
根据图1的胶囊1基本呈具有倒圆边缘的立方体形。但延伸尺寸朝向上侧略微递增,因而胶囊从严格的数学意义上讲具有截头金字塔形状。图中的侧面相对于底面5垂直线的倾斜角度很小,所述倾斜角度当然在此是指图中的侧面相对于垂直于底面的、延伸经过底面和对应侧面之间的边的那个平面的倾斜角度,其优选最多为2°,例如仅约为1°。另外,高出底面的胶囊高度近似等于底面边的长度。
胶囊具有主体(或杯体)2和沿环绕凸缘4固定在主体上的盖3。该主体形成胶囊底面5和环绕侧壁6,该环绕侧壁在其就轴向(轴线10)而言的外侧且在图中是上侧的末端以凸缘4来结束。所述盖向外隆起,做法是基本平行于胶囊底面5的盖面9相对于环绕凸缘4向外错移。
图2示出在装填和密封之前的主体2(杯体)。主体凸缘41的延伸尺寸大于成品胶囊的凸缘4的延伸尺寸。
在胶囊制造中,首先给主体2装填萃取物,接着使所述盖3就位。图3和图4示出盖3的实施例,所述盖是深拉制造的。在盖凸缘34的区域内一体形成的能量定向器23呈环绕肋条状,其横截面大致呈V形。在背侧(在胶囊制造后作为在外表面)相应形成环绕的凹槽11。
所述盖具有侧突出部31,其在固定于主体上之时或之后被切掉。在突出部上设有降低区域,因而形成肩部32。如此设定所述盖的尺寸,当所述盖就位在主体上时,主体凸缘41一直伸到该肩部,从而该肩部作为相对于主体就位时的助手。
当密封该胶囊时,如图5很示意性所示,该主体凸缘在盖就位期间从下方由第一工具21(砧座)支承,而第二工具22(焊头)从上方将超声波能量耦合至所述盖凸缘以进行焊接。图6示出在切掉或许有的突出部之后的焊接位点。用交叉阴影线表示的区域示出了能量定向器23的初始位置。现实中,除了该区域外,所述主体凸缘和盖凸缘在密封后也被焊接。
该环绕凸缘构成面向盖侧的面8,该面从该凸缘的外边缘7一直延伸至隆起的根部12。如图6所示,所述根部12可以相对于由主体2构成的环绕侧壁向内错移。在此,这种错移v相对于胶囊壁厚度可以是重要的;它尤其为至少0.2毫米。错移v如图6所示是在凸缘4区域内平行于该主体外表面的平面之间测量的,所述平面经过在盖侧面8或凸缘4的主体侧顶面18与所述盖的隆起或主体外表面之间过渡区内的最大凹弯点。
盖8在凸缘区和真正的盖面9之间形成一个过渡区13,在过渡区内所述壁具有弯曲,因而形成隆起。在所示例子中,它从几乎垂直于凸缘平面和盖面9的部分起以连续凸弯形式过渡至构成盖面的平面区。因此凹弯尺寸(即曲率半径)在根部12处小。但也可以想到的是凹弯和凸弯更多是相互补偿,由此造成横截面呈S形的走向。通过过渡区的面积受限制来保证中心平面区占到盖面的大部分(最少40%),因而立方体形状或正方体形状整体不受影响。
在图6中也能看到在环绕侧壁和凸缘之间过渡区内的可选的加厚部14。这样的加厚部用于附加强化。
图7-图9为了更好地理解本发明示出不是通过深拉而是通过注塑来制造的盖3。除了能量定向器23外,还一体形成有在内侧向内凸的腹板33。该腹板用于机械强化且作为堆叠辅助机构。一体形成在角部区域中的定位凸起35起到定位辅助机构的作用。深拉制造的胶囊也可以具有一体形成的定位辅助机构。

Claims (12)

1.一种制造装有萃取物的、用于制备冲泡制品的分份胶囊(1)的方法,具有以下步骤:
-提供由塑料制成的主体(2),所述主体具有底面区域(5)、环绕侧壁(6)和与所述环绕侧壁相接的环绕的主体凸缘(41),其中所述主体在所述主体凸缘的区域内具有基本呈矩形的横截面;
-提供由塑料制成的盖(3),其中所述盖与环绕的盖凸缘(34)相接地向外形成隆起,其中所述环绕的盖凸缘在其设定尺寸方面与所述主体凸缘(41)匹配;
-给所述主体(2)装填萃取物;
-将所述盖(3)安放到所述主体(2)上以至所述盖凸缘抵靠所述主体凸缘,并且借助超声波焊接将所述盖凸缘固定在所述主体凸缘上,
其特征是,至少所述盖(3)通过深拉制造,所述盖具有至少一个在所述盖凸缘的区域内在外表面上环绕的凹槽(11),并且所述盖(3)具有在超声波焊接期间集中超声波能量的能量定向器(23)。
2.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其中,所述盖(3)和所述主体(2)由相同的塑料制造。
3.根据前述权利要求之一所述的方法,其中,该能量定向器(23)呈环绕肋条形状。
4.根据前述权利要求之一所述的方法,其中,至少所述盖(3)以尺寸过大方式来制造,在焊接之后或与焊接同时将突出部(31)切掉。
5.根据前述权利要求之一所述的方法,其中,所述盖(3)具有定位辅助机构(32,35),通过所述定位辅助机构使所述盖(3)在安放时相对于所述主体(2)对准方向。
6.一种装有萃取物的、由塑料制成的分份胶囊(1),其用于制备冲泡制品,尤其是能通过根据前述权利要求之一所述的方法制造,具有:
-主体(2),具有底面区域(5)和环绕侧壁(6)和与所述环绕侧壁相接的环绕的主体凸缘(41),其中所述主体在所述主体凸缘的区域中具有基本呈矩形的横截面;
-由塑料制成的盖(3),所述盖沿环绕的凸缘被固定在所述主体上,
-其中所述凸缘通过所述主体凸缘(41)和盖凸缘(34)的超声波焊接来制造,
-其中所述盖向外形成隆起,从而所述盖对胶囊体积做出贡献,
其特征是,所述盖(3)通过深拉制造,从而所述盖具有至少一个在所述盖凸缘的区域中在外表面上环绕的凹槽(11),并且能量定向器(23)被集成到所述盖凸缘(34)中。
7.根据权利要求6所述的胶囊,所述胶囊除了所述凸缘(4)外基本呈立方体形或长方体形。
8.根据权利要求6或7所述的胶囊,其中,所述隆起的根部(12)相比于与所述凸缘(4)相接的侧壁(6)部分向内错移。
9.根据权利要求6至8之一所述的胶囊,其中,所述盖从外向内具有形成面向盖侧的面(8)的凸缘区、弯曲的过渡区和从该面(8)的平面降低的平面区(9)。
10.根据权利要求9所述的胶囊,其中,所述平面区(9)占盖面积的至少40%。
11.根据权利要求6至10之一所述的胶囊,其中,所述凸缘(4)侧向突出在0.8毫米至2毫米之间。
12.根据权利要求6至11之一所述的胶囊,其中,所述主体(2)和所述盖(3)由相同的塑料制成。
