Abstract

一种平板电脑液晶显示屏驱动电路,涉及到平板电脑液晶显示屏技术领域,解决现有的点反转方式搭配boost电路成本较高,占用的较大的元件区域,不利于平板电脑的薄型和纤细化的技术不足,包括有采用列反转方式的像素点阵列面板,以及用于驱动像素点阵列面板的液晶TFT的外部驱动电路;其特征在于:所述的部驱动电路包括有提供方波信号的源极IC和根据源极IC提供的方波信号驱动液晶TFT的倍压电路。省去了现有点反转方式搭配boost电路所需的电感、mos开关等电子元器件,不仅减少了元件占用区域,使得平板电脑更加的薄型纤细化,而且降低了成本。另外采用列反转方式的像素点阵列面板,使平板电脑液晶显示屏的功耗降低。

Description

一种平板电脑液晶显示屏驱动电路
技术领域
本发明涉及到平板电脑液晶显示屏技术领域,具体涉及到液晶TFT的外部驱动电路结改进方面。
背景技术
平板电脑应用越来越广泛,从商务到教育,各行各业已经开始普及应用,平板电脑应用领域广就在于它的方便。从各方面对平板电脑进行薄型化和降低功耗是整个行业的趋势。目前传统的平板电脑液晶显示屏像素与像素之间主要是采用点反转技术如图1所示,与之配合的电路驱动采用boost架构,原理如图2所示。
采用点反转方式搭配boost电路,LCD的功耗较大,boost电路需要电感和MOS开关,成本较高,最主要是占用的较大的元件区域,不利于平板电脑的薄型和纤细化。
发明内容
本发明的主要目的在于解决现有的点反转方式搭配boost电路成本较高,占用的较大的元件区域,不利于平板电脑的薄型和纤细化的技术不足,而提出一种平板电脑液晶显示屏驱动电路。
为解决本发明所提出的技术问题,采用的技术方案为:一种平板电脑液晶显示屏驱动电路,包括有采用列反转方式的像素点阵列面板,以及用于驱动像素点阵列面板的液晶TFT的外部驱动电路;其特征在于:所述的部驱动电路包括有提供方波信号的源极IC和根据源极IC提供的方波信号驱动液晶TFT的倍压电路。
所述的倍压电路包括有与源极IC连接的正电源输入端Vin+和负电源输入端Vin-,正电源输入端Vin+经二极管D1分别连接电容C1其中一端和正电源输出端,电容C1另一端连接负电源输入端Vin-;正电源输入端Vin+还经二极管D2分别连接电容C2其中一端和负电源输出端,电容C2另一端连接负电源输入端Vin-。
所述的源极IC提供的方波信号为正负2.85V方波信号。
本发明的有益效果为:本发明采用的倍压电路省去了现有点反转方式搭配boost电路所需的电感、mos开关等电子元器件,不仅减少了元件占用区域,使得平板电脑更加的薄型纤细化,而且降低了成本。另外采用列反转方式的像素点阵列面板,使平板电脑液晶显示屏的功耗降低。

具体实施方式
以下结合附图和本发明优选的具体实施例对本发明的结构作进一步地说明。
参照图3中所示,平板电脑液晶显示屏驱动电路,包括有采用列反转方式的像素点阵列面板,以及用于驱动像素点阵列面板的液晶TFT的外部驱动电路。也即是像素点阵列面板采用GOA架构,像素点之间采用现有的列反转方式,列反转相对于点反转降低功耗,即负载减少。
参照图4中所示,所述的部驱动电路包括有提供方波信号的源极IC和根据源极IC提供的方波信号驱动液晶TFT的倍压电路。
倍压电路的具体结构可以为:所述的倍压电路包括有与源极IC连接的正电源输入端Vin+和负电源输入端Vin-,正电源输入端Vin+经二极管D1分别连接电容C1其中一端和正电源输出端,电容C1另一端连接负电源输入端Vin-;正电源输入端Vin+还经二极管D2分别连接电容C2其中一端和负电源输出端,电容C2另一端连接负电源输入端Vin-。当所述的源极IC提供的方波信号为正负2.85V方波信号时,经倍压电路产生5.7V电压输出,以驱动液晶TFT。本发明由于简化了电感等元器件,液晶屏整体厚度由原来的4.55mmMAX变为4.05mmMAX,元件区域由58.8mmX7.30mm变小为30.0mmX5.0mm,有利于平板电脑的薄型和纤细化。
参照图5中所示,本发明采用列反转驱动技术的10.1英寸分辨率为800*1280的源极IC的输出波形图,原来点反转在一帧周期内,源极IC的输出要反转800次,改为列反转后,在一帧的周期内,源极IC的输出只需反转1次,在纯色画面下,功耗约为点反转时功耗的1/3,使平板电脑待机和使用时间更长。

Claims (3)

1.一种平板电脑液晶显示屏驱动电路,包括有采用列反转方式的像素点阵列面板,以及用于驱动像素点阵列面板的液晶TFT的外部驱动电路;其特征在于:所述的部驱动电路包括有提供方波信号的源极IC和根据源极IC提供的方波信号驱动液晶TFT的倍压电路。
2.根据权利要求1所述的一种平板电脑液晶显示屏驱动电路,其特征在于:所述的倍压电路包括有与源极IC连接的正电源输入端Vin+和负电源输入端Vin-,正电源输入端Vin+经二极管D1分别连接电容C1其中一端和正电源输出端,电容C1另一端连接负电源输入端Vin-;正电源输入端Vin+还经二极管D2分别连接电容C2其中一端和负电源输出端,电容C2另一端连接负电源输入端Vin-。
3.根据权利要求2所述的一种平板电脑液晶显示屏驱动电路,其特征在于:所述的源极IC提供的方波信号为正负2.85V方波信号。
