Abstract
一种柴油机用大规格堇青石蜂窝陶瓷载体,由如下重量份数的原材料组成:滑石1:20‑42份;滑石2:0‑20份;氧化铝1:0‑20份;氧化铝2:0‑20份;二氧化硅:12‑14份;煅烧高岭土:12‑14份;生高岭土:12‑14份;表面活性剂:0.2‑0.4份;本发明针对原位合成堇青石的原料物料的物理、化学特性的不同对平均粒径进行调整,使合成的堇青石物料具有较高放入致密性,这样在挤出成型过程中蜂窝陶湿坯有较高的强度,从而减少缺陷。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及柴油机尾气排放治理技术领域,尤其是涉及一种柴油机用大规格堇青石蜂窝陶瓷载体及其制备方法。
背景技术
柴油机尾气净化用大规格堇青石蜂窝陶瓷载体,直径尺寸≥140mm,载体采用蜂窝形状结构,包含孔道壁隔开的许多独立孔道,孔道密度在280~330个/英寸2,孔道壁厚≤0.17mm。
这种陶瓷载体采用堇青石原位合成,采用若干种物料,如滑石、氧化铝、二氧化硅和高岭土;外加有机粘结剂3%~8%、表面活性剂,混合成堇青石泥料。由于堇青石原位合成,物料各自的物理、化学特性不同,在挤出成型过程中的流动性有差异,容易产生网格孔道壁局部变形,从而产生缺陷,进而影响柴油机尾气净化的效果。
发明内容
针对现有技术存在的上述问题,本申请人提供了一种柴油机用大规格堇青石蜂窝陶瓷载体。本发明针对原位合成堇青石的原料物料的物理、化学特性的不同对平均粒径进行调整,使合成的堇青石物料具有较高放入致密性,这样在挤出成型过程中蜂窝陶湿坯有较高的强度,从而减少缺陷。
本发明的技术方案如下:
一种柴油机用大规格堇青石蜂窝陶瓷载体,由如下重量份数的原材料组成:
滑石1:20-42份;滑石2:0-20份;氧化铝1:0-20份;氧化铝2:0-20份;二氧化硅:12-14份;煅烧高岭土:12-14份;生高岭土:12-14份;表面活性剂:0.2-0.4份;其中氧化铝1和氧化铝2的重量份数之和大于零;
所述各种原料的化学成分和物理性能为:
所述表面活性剂为妥尔油、月桂酸、或丙烯酸脂。
一种柴油机用大规格堇青石蜂窝陶瓷载体的制备方法:先将滑石1、滑石2、生高领土与表面活性剂混合,再与其他原材料混合,然后挤出成型、煅烧。
本发明有益的技术效果在于:
本发明为增加挤出成型过程中蜂窝陶湿坯的致密性,对物料按比例,对其平均粒径进行调整分类。滑石分为大颗粒和中颗粒两类,氧化铝分为中颗粒和细颗粒。氧化铝的细颗粒、二氧化硅、两种高岭土的粒径为滑石大颗粒粒径的1/10。大颗粒物料比例大于30%,细颗粒物料比例大于40%,中颗粒物料比例小于20%。这样组合后物料混合成堇青石泥料,在挤出成型蜂窝陶湿坯过程中致密性得到提高,从而减少了不同物料差异形成的挤出成型缺陷。
本发明对滑石物料的比表面积>10.0m2/g。对高岭土分两类,一类生高岭土为高比表面积,其比表面积>30.0m2/g,一类为煅烧高岭土,其比表面积<5.0m2/g,二氧化硅、氧化铝比表面积<1.0m2/g。对物料比表面积的差异,对高比表面积的物料:滑石、生高岭土,先使用表面活性剂如妥尔油、月桂酸、丙烯酸脂,外加0.1%~0.5%与高比表面积的物料混合,这样降低了物料的表面张力,提高了物料的表面活性,使物料在挤出形成孔道壁所需的挤压力减少,易于成型,这样消除了各种物料因比表面积差异在挤出过程中形成孔道壁的缺陷。

具体实施方式
下面结合实施例,对本发明进行具体描述。
实施例1~9和测试例:
按照表1所述的原料用量制备柴油机用大规格堇青石蜂窝陶瓷载体。制备时先将滑石1、滑石2、生高领土与表面活性剂混合,再与其他原材料混合,然后挤出成型、煅烧。挤出成型、煅烧均采用本领域常规技术参数,煅烧温度在1200~1500℃。其中表面活性剂的使用为1#、4#、7#采用妥尔油、2#、5#、8#采用月桂酸、3#、6#、9#采用丙烯酸脂
实施例1~9制备得到的陶瓷载体的缺陷数量和合格数量如表1所示。

从表1可以看到,物料平均粒径15.0μm应在30%以上,中间粒径物料在<20%,细颗粒(平均粒径1.5μm)>40%时,挤出成型缺陷明显减少。

1.一种柴油机用大规格堇青石蜂窝陶瓷载体,其特征在于由如下原材料组成:
滑石1:41kg;氧化铝1:5kg;氧化铝2:15kg;二氧化硅:13kg;煅烧高岭土:13kg;生高岭土:13kg;表面活性剂:0.3kg;
制备时先将滑石1、生高岭土与表面活性剂混合,再与其他原材料混合,然后挤出成型、煅烧;煅烧温度在1200~1500℃;其中表面活性剂的使用为丙烯酸脂;
