Abstract

技术领域

背景技术
通过限制至变速器的输入扭矩的接口而保护用于具有内燃发动机的车辆的变速器。在一些混合动力车辆中内燃发动机和电机(或马达/发电机)都可用于产生扭矩并且它们可通过分离离合器分离。通过启动离合器将内燃发动机和电机提供的扭矩的总和传输至变速器的输入。启动离合器必须被定级(rate)以控制住来自发动机和电机的扭矩,包括惯性扭矩。
变速器接口可用于限制至变速器输入的扭矩以保护连接扭矩产生器(例如内燃发动机)和变速器的启动离合器。在具有不止一个扭矩源的混合动力车辆的动力传动系统中这些变速器接口不能分别限制发动机扭矩和电机扭矩。结果是,使用现有的变速器接口没有保护分离离合器。为了弥补缺少的保护,可能需要系统控制器将总的输入扭矩减小到驾驶员需求以下以防止分离离合器超过扭矩负荷。
本发明集中于涉及分离离合器过度扭矩的保护的上述问题和其它问题。
发明内容
可通过建立包括可以集成进混合动力变速器的分离离合器的独立子系统来处理上述问题。建立将分离离合器的限制传递至车辆系统控制器的接口。在车辆运转期间车辆系统控制来限制发动机扭矩和/或电机扭矩。在限制发动机扭矩的事件中,可通过添加电机扭矩来满足驾驶员需求的扭矩。
根据本发明的一个方面,动力传动系统包含发动机、马达、连接在发动机和马达之间的分离离合器、以及变速器。变速器通过变矩器和锁止离合器连接至马达并通过分离离合器选择性地以及间接地连接至发动机。控制器接收发动机扭矩输出信号并将发动机的扭矩输出减小至离合器容量(clutchcapacity)极限值。

参考图4,如之前参考图3描述的,显示了动力传动系统10的运转而马达14添加扭矩以补偿发动机扭矩的限制。升高的马达扭矩线46说明马达14用于补偿而提供的扭矩,以通过将发动机12提供的扭矩减小至分离离合器正极限水平42而保护分离离合器20。未升高的马达扭矩线48代表如果没有限制发动机扭矩来保护分离离合器20,那么通过马达14将会正常提供的扭矩水平。结合极限线32的发动机扭矩和升高的马达扭矩线46的总和以提供需求的和传输的扭矩线50。
参考图5,显示了包括通过分离离合器20连接发动机12至马达14的动力传动系统的简化图表。可操作地连接在马达14和变速器16之间的变矩器21和锁止离合器23在图5中是打开的,以代表打开的或滑动的变矩器21和锁止离合器23状况。在空挡、泊车或缓慢行驶(creep)运转模式中,当马达充电电池26(图1中显示的)时可以打开或滑动变矩器和锁止离合器。这种情况下,车辆系统控制器24必须限制包括各自惯性扭矩的发动机扭矩和马达扭矩两者以保护分离离合器20。
参考图6,如参考图3描述的限制发动机扭矩以防止分离离合器超过其正极限42。线52说明限制的电机扭矩。当充电时电机扭矩不能超过分离离合器负极限44。结果是,限制的马达扭矩52比请求的马达扭矩54负的更少。通过限制发动机扭矩和电机扭矩两者而防止分离离合器20超过其正极限线42。防止分离离合器20超过线44表示的它的负极限。
离合器容量方程式是施加至离合器的压力的函数。离合器容量方程式是:(发动机扭矩-发动机惯性扭矩)的绝对值=(马达扭矩-马达惯性扭矩-变矩器和锁止离合器扭矩)的绝对值。

Claims (5)
1.一种用于控制动力传动系统的系统,其特征在于,所述系统包含:
发动机;
连接至所述发动机的马达;
连接至所述马达的变速器;
可操作地连接在所述发动机和所述马达之间且可操作用于分离所述发动机与所述马达的分离离合器,其中所述发动机和所述马达选择性地连接至所述变速器;以及
将所述发动机产生的扭矩减小至分离离合器容量极限的控制器。
2.根据权利要求1所述的系统,其特征在于,所述控制器命令所述马达增加来自所述马达的扭矩输出以满足驾驶员对扭矩的需求并补偿所述发动机的扭矩输出减小。
3.根据权利要求1所述的系统,其特征在于,当变矩器和锁止离合器打开或滑动时控制器减小通过所述马达产生的所述扭矩至负的分离离合器容量极限值。
4.根据权利要求3所述的系统,其特征在于,所述发动机输出扭矩信号是通过所述发动机产生的扭矩和发动机惯性扭矩的总和而所述马达扭矩信号是通过所述马达产生的扭矩和马达惯性扭矩的总和。
5.根据权利要求1所述的系统,其特征在于,所述发动机输出扭矩信号是通过所述发动机产生的扭矩和发动机惯性扭矩的总和。
