The invention discloses a carbon battery sealing agent and a preparation method thereof, the carbon battery sealing agent is prepared by taking asphalt as a main material and adding engine oil, lubricating grease, vaseline, petroleum resin, solvent and the like for blending, has good adhesion, aging resistance and creep resistance, does not need heating when in use, and is easy to coat.

Technical Field
The invention relates to a carbon battery sealing agent and a preparation method thereof.
Background
Carbon batteries, also known as zinc manganese batteries, are currently the most prevalent dry cell batteries. The battery sealing agent has an important function on the zinc-manganese battery, and the quality of the battery sealing quality directly determines the battery quality. The battery sealing agent is one of petroleum asphalt, the petrochemical industry standard is SH/T0421-92, and the battery sealing agent which is most used in domestic battery factories in the past is a No. 20 battery sealing agent produced by certain oil refinery in Xinjiang. Because the product is limited by raw materials and technologies, in recent years, the battery sealing agent produced by a certain factory in Shandong is more applied domestically. The battery sealing agent is used by heating the sealing agent to more than 220 ℃ and pouring the sealing agent among the zinc cylinder, the sealing ring and the carbon rod to seal, and the problem of environmental protection exists because the sealing agent needs to be heated to more than 220 ℃.
In recent years, battery manufacturers gradually change to a sealing method, i.e. a thin layer of sealing agent is coated on the upper parts of a zinc cylinder and a carbon rod, so that the using amount is small, and the capacity of the battery is improved. The domestic battery sealing agent is compounded by high polymer materials such as rubber and the like and other components, has good creep resistance and sealing property, but has high cost; the asphalt is prepared by mixing asphalt as a main material with epoxy resin, is low in price and needs to be heated to about 100 ℃ when in use. The asphalt has good caking property and aging resistance and low price, so a solvent type battery sealing agent mainly comprising the asphalt needs to be developed to meet the requirements of customers.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to provide a carbon battery sealing agent which is prepared by mixing asphalt as a main component with engine oil, lubricating grease, vaseline, petroleum resin, a solvent and the like, and has good adhesion, ageing resistance and creep resistance.
The invention also aims to provide a preparation method of the carbon battery sealing agent.
The first object of the invention is achieved by the following technical measures: a carbon battery sealing agent comprises the following components in percentage by mass:
50 to 80 percent of asphalt
5 to 30 percent of lubricating grease
5 to 10 percent of vaseline
3 to 10 percent of petroleum resin
5 to 30 percent of engine oil
2 to 30 percent of solvent.
The asphalt is high-grade road asphalt, such as AH-70 high-grade road asphalt, is a basic raw material of a sealing agent, has good adhesion to a zinc cylinder, a plastic sealing ring and a carbon rod of a battery, and is low in price.
The lubricating grease is also called as butter, is used for improving the adhesiveness of asphalt, and is difficult to deform and flow at high temperature.
The vaseline is used for improving the adhesiveness of the asphalt and is difficult to deform and flow at a high temperature.
The petroleum resin is used for improving the adhesiveness of asphalt, and is not easy to deform and flow at high temperature.
The engine oil is used for diluting asphalt, reducing the viscosity of the asphalt, improving the low-temperature cracking resistance of the asphalt and improving the temperature sensitivity of the asphalt.
The solvent is gasoline or xylene, and the like, and the viscosity of the sealing agent is further diluted, so that the sealing agent has proper fluidity to be properly coated.
The second object of the invention is achieved by the following technical measures: a process for preparing the sealing agent of carbon battery includes such steps as putting asphalt in reactor, heating to 140-150 deg.C, adding lubricating grease, vaseline, petroleum resin and machine oil, stirring while mixing at 140-150 deg.C for 40-60 min, cooling to 60-80 deg.C, adding solvent, and stirring.
Compared with the prior art, the invention has the following remarkable effects:
1. the carbon battery sealing agent provided by the invention is convenient to use, does not need heating, and is easy to coat.
2. The carbon battery sealing agent provided by the invention has good adhesiveness, creep resistance and aging resistance under the combined action of asphalt, lubricating grease, vaseline, petroleum resin, engine oil and a solvent, and does not deform or flow at high temperature and crack at low temperature, so that the storage stability of the battery is improved, and the service life of the battery is prolonged.
3. The preparation method of the carbon battery sealing agent provided by the invention is simple, short in process flow, low in cost and convenient for realizing industrialization.

The present invention will be described in more detail by way of examples, but the following examples are merely illustrative of the present invention and are not intended to limit the present invention, and therefore any changes within the meaning and scope equivalent to the claims of the present invention should be construed as being included in the scope of the claims.
Example 1
Firstly, 650 kg of asphalt is placed in a reaction kettle, the temperature is raised to 140 ℃, 80 kg of lubricating grease, 50 kg of vaseline, 50 kg of petroleum resin and 70 kg of engine oil are added, stirring and mixing are started for 60min, and the temperature is kept at 140 ℃. Stirring and cooling to 60 ℃, adding 100 kg of dimethylbenzene, continuously stirring until the mixture is uniform, filtering and barreling.
Example 2
Firstly, 630 kg of asphalt is put into a reaction kettle, heated to 150 ℃, added with 90 kg of lubricating grease, 40 kg of vaseline, 50 kg of petroleum resin and 100 kg of engine oil, stirred and mixed for 50min, and the temperature is kept at 150 ℃. Stirring and cooling to 80 ℃, adding 90 kg of gasoline, continuously stirring to be uniform, filtering and barreling.
Example 3
Firstly, 700 kg of asphalt is placed in a reaction kettle, the temperature is raised to 145 ℃, 80 kg of lubricating grease, 30 kg of vaseline, 30 kg of petroleum resin and 50 kg of engine oil are added, stirring and mixing are started for 40min, and the temperature is kept at 145 ℃. Stirring and cooling to 70 ℃, adding 110 kg of gasoline, continuously stirring to be uniform, filtering and barreling.
Example 4
650 kg of asphalt is put into a reaction kettle, heated to 148 ℃, added with 90 kg of lubricating grease, 50 kg of vaseline, 30 kg of petroleum resin and 80 kg of engine oil, stirred and mixed for 55min, and the temperature is kept at 148 ℃. Stirring and cooling to 65 ℃, adding 100 kg of dimethylbenzene, continuously stirring to be uniform, filtering and barreling.
Example 5
Firstly, 630 kg of asphalt is put into a reaction kettle, heated to 148 ℃, added with 90 kg of lubricating grease, 60 kg of vaseline, 40 kg of petroleum resin and 70 kg of engine oil, stirred and mixed for 55min, and the temperature is kept at 148 ℃. Stirring and cooling to 65 ℃, adding 100 kg of dimethylbenzene, continuously stirring to be uniform, filtering and barreling.
Example 6
670 kg of asphalt is put into a reaction kettle, heated to 148 ℃, added with 85 kg of lubricating grease, 50 kg of vaseline, 45 kg of petroleum resin and 50 kg of engine oil, stirred and mixed for 55min, and the temperature is kept at 148 ℃. Stirring and cooling to 65 ℃, adding 100 kg of gasoline, continuously stirring to be uniform, filtering and barreling.
Claims (5)
1. The carbon battery sealing agent is characterized by comprising the following components in percentage by mass:
50 to 80 percent of asphalt
5 to 30 percent of lubricating grease
5 to 10 percent of vaseline
3 to 10 percent of petroleum resin
5 to 30 percent of engine oil
2 to 30 percent of solvent.
2. The carbon battery sealant according to claim 1, wherein the asphalt is a high grade road asphalt.
3. The carbon battery sealant according to claim 2, wherein the high-grade road asphalt is No. 70 asphalt.
4. The carbon battery sealing agent according to claim 1, wherein the solvent is gasoline or xylene.

The method for preparing the sealing agent of the carbon battery according to any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein the asphalt is placed in a reaction kettle, heated to 140 ℃ to 150 ℃, added with the lubricating grease, the vaseline, the petroleum resin and the engine oil, stirred and mixed for 40 to 60min, kept at the temperature of 140 ℃ to 150 ℃, stirred and cooled to 60 ℃ to 80 ℃, added with the solvent, and continuously stirred until uniform.
