Abstract

Description
本发明涉及一种用于电缆的改进型环境密封件,并且具体来说涉及一种用于从家庭住宅向活动房屋或拖车房提供电力的电适配器壳体。
发明背景
大多数拖车房或RV具有15安培的额定电源,以使得多个电器可以同时运行。然而,家用电源出口额定值为10安培。因此,插头和插座被设计成是不相容的以防止损坏家用电源电路,或者更糟的是,引发火灾。
将拖车房电源连接到家用电路的另一困难是导线和连接件暴露于各元件并且水渗入适配器可能会引起危险的短路。
许多专利已经解决了闭合电连接器的问题。
其中最为相关的专利使用其中铰链与电缆平行的蛤壳式配置。实例为美国专利5217387、6036526、7285725、7553181和WO03001631。本申请人所申请的澳大利亚专利2010100095公开了一种替代性纵向蛤壳式闭合件。然而,这些专利均未在电缆周围提供能够适应一系列电缆尺寸的有效环境密封件

发明简述
为此,本发明提供了一种闭合密封件,该闭合密封件在电缆或导管周围提供环境密封件,该闭合密封件包括上部密封块,该上部密封块被适配成夹紧到下部密封块,以使得电缆或导管的周围被这两个密封块包围,其中每个密封块均由弹性可变形材料组成并且每个块均包括设置在所述可变形材料内的一对间隔开的臂,每个臂均位于基本上在所述电缆径向的线上,所述臂在所述电缆或导管远侧的端部枢转。
这种布置确保弹性材料始终被压紧以符合电缆的外部性状并且围绕电缆形成不透水的密封件,而不管电缆的形状或直径如何,从而防止水沿着电缆进入。本发明的密封件适用于柔性且刚性的电缆或导管,这些电缆或导管可能是不圆的(也就是说,电缆仅具有两个导体),从而使得密封件成为非常容错的系统。在现有技术中,可能仅向针对适配器专门设计的一种电缆类型提供这样的不透水的密封件。
优选地,在密封块的后表面提供槽孔以容纳臂。优选地,这些槽孔是隐蔽的。优选地,这些臂位于基座构件的任一端上,该基座构件位于每个块的后表面上。优选地,当从侧面观察时,基座构件和臂为截顶三角形。

本发明的密封件的优选应用用于在澳大利亚专利2010100095中所述的类型的室外电适配器。优选地,密封件被适配成在直径达12mm的电缆或导管周围水密地密封。闭合件具有铰接盖和基座,以使得盖呈平行于电线的线的弧形打开。本发明的密封件是针对盖和基座提供。插座隔室的可释放盖件确保插头和插座保持干燥并且不受天气影响。适配器包括插头,该插头与拖车房或RV的外部电源插座相兼容。
优选地,适配器包括断路器开关,可以在电路断开后重新打开断路器开关。优选地,该开关还利用可释放盖件封闭在隔室中。优选地,用于插座隔室的盖件和用于开关隔室的盖件是透明的。

室外适配器为澳大利亚专利2010100095中所公开的种类,该专利的内容以引用的方式并入本文。
如图所示,适配器10由主体10组成,该主体具有便于连接到拖车房或RV的导线11。该适配器适于使用与家用电源出口的电流极限不同的电流极限的任何应用。主体包括两个带盖件的隔室13和22。隔室13包括断路器和复位开关,该断路器和该复位开关由盖件保护不受这些元件的影响。
插座隔室22包括用于常规家用电插头24和电缆25的插座23。隔室22由透明盖件33密封,该透明盖件被可拆卸地锁定到主体10。当盖件33关闭时,密封支架60邻接该盖件的边缘。
盖件33包括闩扣部分34,该闩扣部分合并有通道35以容纳电缆25。上部密封块70邻近该闩扣部分,该上部密封块与主体部分中邻近主体闩扣机构53的下部密封块80互补。盖件闩扣包括一对卡扣配合舌片38,这对卡扣配合舌片卡扣在主体闩扣机构53的固持凸耳上。
导线25还搁置在弹簧加载式电缆引导件44上,该弹簧加载式电缆引导件被定位在隔室22内。
当盖件33关闭时,引导件44在张力下弯曲并且通过与凸耳啮合的舌片38保持在张力下。当提起主体闩扣机构53的释放片时,该释放片使得舌片38远离凸耳移位并且引导件44的张力释放使得盖件33向上移位,以使得可以从隔室22移除电缆25和插头24。
在图3至图6中更详细地示出本发明的密封布置。上部密封块70由弹性泡沫、可变形聚合物泡沫或橡胶泡沫组成。块70具有密封表面71和后表面72,其中槽孔73朝向表面71的中心径向延伸到块70中,电缆25被适配成平放在该表面中。塑料弹簧74(其呈截顶三角形形状)具有位于后表面72的凹陷中的基座75和安插到槽孔73中的臂76。每个臂76均围绕基座75与每个臂76之间的接合部77枢转。
块70的主体包括位于后表面72端部的定位肋78和位于密封表面71端部的边缘凸缘79。密封表面的轮廓是略微凸起的,以使得其偏向电缆25。
下部密封块可反映上部密封块的组件。
下部密封块80由弹性泡沫、可变形聚合物泡沫或橡胶泡沫组成。块80具有密封表面81和后表面82,其中槽孔83朝向表面81的中心径向延伸到块80中,电缆25被适配成平放在该表面中。塑料弹簧84与弹簧74等同并且具有位于后表面82的凹陷中的基座85和安插到槽孔83中的臂86。每个臂86均围绕基座85与每个臂86之间的接合部87枢转。
块80的主体包括位于后表面82端部的定位肋88和位于密封表面81端部的边缘凸缘89,这些定位肋和这些边缘凸缘通过盖件密封支架60固定就位。密封表面81的轮廓是略微凸起的,以使得其偏向电缆25和上部密封块70的密封表面71。如图6所示,密封表面71和81围绕电缆25偏置,而不管电缆直径如何。径向枢转臂76和86使表面71和81在电缆25的任一侧上压在一起,以使得获得平坦密封件。

Claims (5)
1.一种用于在电缆或导管周围提供环境密封件的闭合密封件,所述闭合密封件包括下部密封块和上部密封块,所述上部密封块被适配成夹紧到所述下部密封块,以使得所述电缆或导管被所述两个密封块包围,其中每个密封块均由弹性可变形材料组成并且每个密封块均包括设置在所述可变形材料内的一对间隔开的臂和基座构件,每个臂均基本上位于所述电缆或导管径向的线上,其中,每个密封块的所述臂围绕所述基座构件与该臂之间的接合部枢转,并且所述臂使得所述密封块的密封表面在所述电缆的任一侧上压在一起,以获得平坦密封件。
2.如权利要求1所述的闭合密封件,其中所述两个密封块的密封表面是凸状的。
3.如权利要求1或2所述的闭合密封件,其中所述两个密封块的与所述密封表面相对的后表面包括径向槽孔以接纳所述臂对。
