Abstract

本发明提供了一种导光板,其包括平板体(221)及若干凸台(223),所述平板体(221)包括相对设置的顶表面(2211)和底表面(2212),所述若干凸台(223)设置于所述底表面(2212)上,其中,所述凸台(223)的凸面由多个棱锥(2231)构成。本发明还提供了一种背光模块和液晶显示器。在本发明中,由入光面入射到导光板内的光线照射到凸台之后,其全反射会被破坏,这样,其中一部分光线会从导光板的顶表面出射,另一部分光线会从导光板的底表面射出并经由凸台反射回导光板中。这样,以凸台代替了现有技术中的网点和反射片,降低了背光模块的厚度,利于背光模块的轻薄化发展,并能够提高导光板的光利用率,同时能够减少制作流程,从而降低生产成本。

Description

导光板、背光模块及液晶显示器
技术领域
本发明属于液晶显示技术领域,具体地讲,涉及一种导光板、背光模块及液晶显示器。
背景技术
市场的发展趋势是追求便携式产品的轻薄化,如现在的手机、平板电脑、笔记本电脑等需要液晶显示器的设备越做越薄,因此液晶显示器的厚度也需要越做越薄。在整个液晶显示器中,除了液晶面板外,背光模块就构成了它的主要厚度。要减小产品的厚度最有效的方法就是将背光模块的厚度做薄。
现有的背光模块依照光源入射位置的不同分成侧入式背光模块和直下式背光模块两种。其中,侧入式背光模块是将光源,诸如LED灯条(Lightbar)设于背板边缘,LED灯条发出的光线从导光板(LGP,LightGuidePlate)一侧的入光面进入导光板,经反射和扩散后从导光板出光面射出,再经由光学膜片以形成面光源提供给液晶面板。
导光板的底表面大都采用凹或凸的几何网点,其中,依靠调节网点的大小及密度来满足面光源的均一性。从LED灯条出射并经由入光面入射到导光板内的光线照射到网点之后,其全反射会被破坏,这样,一部分光线会从导光板顶表面出射,另一部分光线会从导光板的底表面射出并经由反射片反射回导光板中来提高光效;但是反射片并不能达到百分之百的反射效率,其还是会吸收会透过部分光,这就降低了导光板的光利用率,同时也不利于背光模块的薄型化。
发明内容
为了解决上述现有技术存在的问题,本发明的目的在于提供一种导光板,其包括平板体和若干凸台,所述平板体包括相对设置的顶表面和底表面,所述若干凸台设置于所述底表面上,其中,所述凸台的凸面由多个棱锥构成。
进一步地,所述导光板还包括:由所述平板体一侧延伸形成的楔形体,其中,所述楔形体较薄的端面与所述平板体的一端平滑衔接。
进一步地,所述凸台涂布于所述底表面上。
进一步地,所述凸台由高反射材料制成。
进一步地,沿一特定方向,构成所述凸面的所述棱锥的数量逐渐增多或者逐渐减少。
本发明的另一目的还在于提供一种背光模块,其包括:导光板,包括平板体及由所述平板体一侧延伸形成的楔形体,其中,所述楔形体较厚的端面为入光面,所述楔形体较薄的端面与所述平板体的一端平滑衔接,所述平板体包括相对设置的出光面和底表面;若干凸台,设置于所述底表面上,其中,所述凸台的凸面由多个棱锥构成;光源,邻近于所述入光面设置。
进一步地,沿远离所述入光面的方向,构成所述凸面的所述棱锥的数量逐渐增多。
进一步地,所述凸台涂布于所述底表面上。
进一步地,所述凸台由高反射材料制成。
本发明又一目的又在于提供一种液晶显示器,其包括上述的背光模块。
本发明的有益效果:在本发明中,从光源出射并经由入光面入射到导光板内的光线照射到凸台之后,其全反射会被破坏,这样,其中一部分光线会从导光板的顶表面出射,另一部分光线会从导光板的底表面射出并经由凸台反射回导光板中。这样,以凸台代替了现有技术中的网点和反射片,降低了背光模块的厚度,利于背光模块的轻薄化发展,并能够提高导光板的光利用率,同时能够减少制作流程,从而降低生产成本。

以下,将参照附图来详细描述本发明的实施例。然而,可以以许多不同的形式来实施本发明,并且本发明不应该被解释为限制于这里阐述的具体实施例。相反,提供这些实施例是为了解释本发明的原理及其实际应用,从而使本领域的其他技术人员能够理解本发明的各种实施例和适合于特定预期应用的各种修改。
在附图中,为了清楚起见,夸大了层和区域的厚度。相同的标号在整个说明书和附图中可用来表示相同的元件。
图1是根据本发明的实施例的液晶显示器的结构示意图。
参照图1,根据本发明的实施例的液晶显示器包括相对设置的液晶面板100和背光模块200,其中,背光模块200提供均匀的面光源给液晶面板100,以使该液晶面板100显示影像。
由于本发明的发明要点是针对背光模块200,所以为了避免赘述,液晶面板100的具体结构在此不再详细介绍,本领域的技术人员可参照现有技术中公开的液晶面板的具体结构。
以下将对根据本发明的实施例的背光模块200进行详细的描述。图2是根据本发明的实施例的背光模块的侧视图。图3是图2的背光模块的仰视图。
参照图2和图3,根据本发明的实施例的背光模块200包括:光源210、导光板220、光学膜片230。应当理解的是,背光模块200还可以包括背板、胶框等其他必要的元器件,由于本发明的发明要点是针对背光模块200的导光板220,因此这些元器件被选择性的省略,本领域的技术人员可参照相关的现有技术。
导光板220包括:平板体221、沿该平板体221一端延伸的楔形体222以及若干凸台223。这里,该楔形体222较厚的端面为入光面222a,该楔形体222较薄的端面与平板体221的一端平滑衔接。
平板体221包括相对设置的顶表面2211和底表面2212。若干凸台223以特定规则布置于底表面2212上。例如,在本实施例中,优选地,若干凸台223以阵列方式布置于底表面2212上。这里,凸台223的凸面由多个棱锥2231构成;但本发明并不限制于此,例如,凸台223的凸面也可以由多个圆柱体、多个方体或者多个任何合适类型形状的凸起构成。
沿一特定方向,构成凸台223的凸面的棱锥2231的数量逐渐增多或者逐渐减少。在本实施例中,优选地,在行方向上,沿着远离入光面222a的方向,构成凸台223的凸面的棱锥2231的数量逐渐增多;在列方向上,构成凸台223的凸面的棱锥2231的数量相同。应当说明的是,作为本发明的另一实施方式,在列方向上,构成凸台223的凸面的棱锥2231的数量也可以不相同。
在本实施例中,优选地,凸台223由高反射材料制成,例如硫酸钡高反射材料,但本发明并不限制于此。此外,在本实施例中,可利用涂布工艺将若干凸台223涂布在底表面2212上,但本发明并不限制于此,例如也可以通过打印印刷等工艺将若干凸台223设置在底表面2212上。
光源210可例如是由多个发光二极管(LED)构成的灯条(LightBar),但本发明并不限制于此,例如光源210也可以是冷阴极荧光灯管(CCFL)。光源210邻近于该楔形体222的入光面222a设置。
多张光学膜片230设置于顶表面2211上,用于改善由顶表面2211出射的光线的光学品质。在本实施例中,这些光学膜片230可包括增亮膜、扩散膜等,它们能够改善由顶表面2211出射的光线的光学品质。
综上,从光源210出射并经由入光面222a入射到导光板220内的光线照射到凸台223之后,其全反射会被破坏,这样,其中一部分光线会从导光板220的顶表面2211出射,另一部分光线会从导光板220的底表面2212射出并经由凸台223反射回导光板220中。这样,以凸台223代替了现有技术中的网点和反射片,降低了背光模块200的厚度,利于背光模块200的轻薄化发展,并能够提高导光板220的光利用率,同时能够减少制作流程,从而降低生产成本。
虽然已经参照特定实施例示出并描述了本发明,但是本领域的技术人员将理解:在不脱离由权利要求及其等同物限定的本发明的精神和范围的情况下,可在此进行形式和细节上的各种变化。

Claims (10)

1.一种导光板,包括平板体(221),所述平板体(221)包括相对设置的顶表面(2211)和底表面(2212),其特征在于,所述导光板还包括若干凸台(223),所述若干凸台(223)设置于所述底表面(2212)上,其中,所述凸台(223)的凸面由多个棱锥(2231)构成。
2.根据权利要求1所述的导光板,其特征在于,所述导光板还包括:由所述平板体(221)一侧延伸形成的楔形体(222),其中,所述楔形体(222)较薄的端面与所述平板体(221)的一端平滑衔接。
3.根据权利要求1所述的导光板,其特征在于,所述凸台(223)涂布于所述底表面(2212)上。
4.根据权利要求1所述的导光板,其特征在于,所述凸台(223)由高反射材料制成。
5.根据权利要求1或2所述的导光板,其特征在于,沿一特定方向,构成所述凸面的所述棱锥(2231)的数量逐渐增多或者逐渐减少。
6.一种背光模块,其特征在于,包括:
导光板(220),包括平板体(221)及由所述平板体(221)一侧延伸形成的楔形体(222),其中,所述楔形体(222)较厚的端面为入光面(222a),所述楔形体(222)较薄的端面与所述平板体(221)的一端平滑衔接,所述平板体(221)包括相对设置的出光面(2211)和底表面(2212);
若干凸台(223),设置于所述底表面(2212)上,其中,所述凸台(223)的凸面由多个棱锥(2231)构成;
光源(210),邻近于所述入光面(222a)设置。
7.根据权利要求6所述的背光模块,其特征在于,沿远离所述入光面(222a)的方向,构成所述凸面的所述棱锥(2231)的数量逐渐增多。
8.根据权利要求6或7所述的背光模块,其特征在于,所述凸台(223)涂布于所述底表面(2212)上。
9.根据权利要求6或7所述的背光模块,其特征在于,所述凸台(223)由高反射材料制成。
10.一种液晶显示器,其特征在于,包括权利要求6至9任一项所述的背光模块。
