技术领域
本公开内容涉及超声波焊机,并且更具体地涉及用于超声波焊机的夹头变幅杆。
背景技术

图1中示出了典型的超声波金属焊接设备100的模型。超声波金属焊接设备100的典型部件包括超声换能器102、扩震器104以及超声变幅杆106。如由超声波焊接领域中的技术人员通常理解的,超声变幅杆是将机械能从超声换能器传递至工件的金属杆。超声变幅杆的长度通常是在驱动变幅杆的超声换能器共振的共振频率下的波长的二分之一。来自电源101的处于20KHz至60KHz的频率的电能通过超声换能器102转换成机械能。在超声换能器102中转换的机械能通过扩震器104和变幅杆106传递至焊接负载(比如两个金属件112、114)。扩震器104和变幅杆106执行传递机械能的功能以及通过增益系数转换来自超声换能器102的机械振动的功能。
在变幅杆稍端件110上产生的机械振动是执行将金属焊接在一起的任务的动作。变幅杆稍端件110可以由碳化钨或其他高强度硬质材料制成。待焊接在一起的金属件112、114邻近于变幅杆稍端件110而放置。变幅杆稍端件110与待焊接的顶部金属件112相接触。在图1的实施方式中,变幅杆106包括两个变幅杆稍端件110,其中一个变幅杆稍端件110与顶部金属件112相接触。变幅杆106的轴向震动现在变为相对于顶部机械件112的剪切震动。剪切震动被传递至顶部金属件112,使得其相对于底部金属件114前后移动,从而使两个金属件的表面在待加热的焊接接合面处彼此抵接,最终焊接在一起。底部金属件114放在焊接毡座120上。应当理解的是这种超声波焊机可以用于将多个金属箔层——比如若干层铝箔或铜箔——焊接在一起。
类似的设备用在将塑料件超声焊接在一起。原理上的差异在于超声变幅杆以在塑料件中产生竖向振荡的方式振荡。也就是说,超声变幅杆引起了塑料件相对于彼此的振荡压缩/减压,从而使塑料件的表面在待加热的焊接接合面处彼此抵接,最终焊接在一起。
超声波焊机例如公开在美国专利No.5,658,408“Method for ProcessingWorkpieces by Ultrasonic Energy”(用于通过超声能量加工工件的方法)、美国专利No.6,868,205“Anti-Splice Welder”(“反拼接焊机”)、以及美国专利公开No.2008/0054051的美国专利“Ultrasonic Welding Using Amplitude Profiling”(“使用振幅调整的超声波焊接”)中。前述文献的全部公开内容通过参引并入本文。
超声变幅杆是超声波焊机的关键部件。在金属和塑料膜与纤维的超声波焊接中,超声变幅杆是磨损部件,因为超声变幅杆的与正在被焊接的工件相接触的稍端随着时间磨损。这需要的是定期更换超声变幅杆,这为超声波焊接工艺增加了成本,因为超声变幅杆是相对昂贵的部件。为了减小该成本,某些超声变幅杆具有可替换的稍端件。一种类型的可替换稍端件具有具有外部接触部和从外部接触部延伸的螺柱,该螺柱被拧紧至位于超声变幅杆的端部中的螺纹孔中以将可替换的稍端件紧固至超声变幅杆。在另一类型中,超声变幅杆的端部具有从其向外突出的柱,可替换的稍端件配装在该柱上。柱的端部是带螺纹的,并且之后将前部螺母抵靠可替换的稍端件的前表面拧紧在柱的带螺纹的端部上,以将可替换的稍端件紧固至超声变幅杆的端部。

Claims (5)

1.一种用于超声波焊机的超声夹头变幅杆,包括:
本体;
夹头,在所述夹头上能够接纳可替换的变幅杆稍端件,所述夹头在所述超声夹头变幅杆的所述本体的端部处向外突出,所述夹头具有位于其中的多个轴向狭缝、以及锥形的轴向延伸孔,所述多个轴向狭缝将所述夹头分成部段,所述锥形的轴向延伸孔随着所述锥形的轴向延伸孔轴向地向外延伸而向外成锥形;以及
所述本体具有螺纹孔,所述螺纹孔能够与夹头锁的带螺纹的内部部段螺纹式地接合,所述螺纹孔从所述锥形的轴向延伸孔的轴向内端部轴向地向内延伸;
在所述变幅杆稍端件被接纳在所述夹头上时,所述夹头的所述部段被迫使向外抵靠所述变幅杆稍端件的内壁,并且所述夹头锁被拧紧至所述螺纹孔中以将所述变幅杆稍端件紧固在所述夹头上。
2.根据权利要求1所述的超声夹头变幅杆,其中,所述夹头具有多边形的截面,所述多边形的截面带有由所述轴向狭缝所分割的经倒角的边缘。
3.根据权利要求1所述的超声夹头变幅杆,其中,所述夹头具有大致方形的截面,所述大致方形的截面带有由所述轴向狭缝所分割的经倒角的边缘。
4.根据权利要求1所述的超声夹头变幅杆,还包括所述夹头锁,所述夹头锁具有锥形外部部段,所述锥形外部部段在所述夹头锁的所述带螺纹的内部部段被拧紧在所述螺纹孔中时迫使所述夹头的所述部段抵靠所述变幅杆稍端件。
5.根据权利要求4所述的超声夹头变幅杆,其中,所述夹头锁的所述带螺纹的内部部段是螺纹轴。
