Abstract
一种耐水性蜂窝状活性炭,它由50~70重量%活性炭,17~35重量%海泡石,13~25重量%高岭土采用陶瓷工艺制成的活性炭。该活性碳具有耐水、耐酸、耐碱,强高度,比表面积大等优点,可广泛用于环保、制药、食品等工业及作为催化剂载体。
Description
本发明涉及活性炭制造工艺,特别是耐水性蜂窝状活性炭制造工艺。
活性炭广泛应用于制药食品等工业脱色,工业废气及废水处理等领域作吸附剂。随着应用领域的扩大,应用环境条件的苛刻,对活性炭提出越来越高的要求。例如要求比表面大,强度高,耐磨,耐水,甚至高温条件下耐水、耐碱,耐酸等。近年来国外在这一领域已开展工作并有专利报导。例如美国专利US4992-392-A报导了一种无机纤维粘结的纸蜂窝体,上支撑活性炭,这种结构提高了活性炭的比表面积,但显然不耐水。日本专利J5502-039防水活性炭,该活性炭防水是采用在活性炭上涂敷PTFE,液体石蜡,聚乙烯,聚丙烯和聚苯乙烯等涂料的方法。显然这种工艺比较复杂。目前还没有检索到把制造陶瓷的工艺应用到活性炭制造工业的报导。
本发明的目的在于把陶瓷制作工艺应用于活性炭制作工艺中,生产出具有耐水性,高强度,高比表面的活性炭。
本发明的目的采用如下技术方案实现:
把50~70重量%活性炭,17~35重量%海泡石,13~25重量%高岭土采用陶瓷生产工艺造成耐水性蜂窝状活性炭,该工艺为:三种原料经称料、球磨、过筛、搅拌、榨泥、练泥、陈腐、练泥、挤压成型、干燥、煅烧、检验,包装入库。
其工艺流程详细说明如下:
1.称料:根据配方准确称取各种单料,放进球磨坛中。
2.球磨:根据料∶球∶水=1∶1.7~1.5∶1.5~1.2投放球子和水然后球磨24~28小时。
3.过筛:将球磨好了的泥料用180目的振动筛筛去其中的粗料。
4.搅拌:将筛后泥浆放入搅拌池中进行搅拌。
5.榨泥:将充分搅拌后的泥浆用双缸泵送入榨泥机中压滤榨干。
6.练泥:将压滤好的泥饼用练泥机(真空)练2~3遍。
7.陈腐:将粗练后的泥段用薄膜包好,放置60~70小时。
8.练泥:将陈腐后的泥段精炼一遍。
9.挤压成型:将精练后的泥段投入配置好钢模的强挤机筒内,挤压压力为15~25公斤,进行压坯(即成型)。
10.干燥:将生坯用红外线进行干燥。
11.煅烧:将干坯用匣钵装好,坯体四周空隙用石墨填满(即用石墨埋烧),烧成温度为1100~1280℃左右,烧成时间16~26小时。
12.检验:对烧后的坯体进行检查,未开裂的坯体即为合格的耐水性蜂窝状活性炭制品。
该产品可以制成长方体,圆柱体、三角柱体、椭圆柱体等多种形状,具有完整的蜂窝状结构。
制得的活性炭产品经景德镇市水泥厂进行物理性能试验。测得其正压强度为2.0MPa,侧压强度为0.4MPa。又经中国人民解放军57605部队进行活性炭吸附性能检测,其结果如表1:

活性炭放在0°~100℃水、酸、碱等水溶液中进行长时间浸泡试验。试验结果表明,本发明的活性炭不受侵蚀,在任何一种条件下均未出现崩塌、粉化、破损等不良现象,保持完整的蜂窝状结构。
分析本发明的蜂窝状活性炭具有耐水、耐酸、耐碱及高比表面的原因是:由于海泡石和高岭土在经过练泥等一系列作用后充分混合,并在高温煅烧时相互反应生产耐水、耐酸、耐碱性的镁铝尖晶石蜂窝骨架,活性炭与骨格体有机结合成一体,故具有陶瓷的高强度及耐水、耐酸、耐碱性,又具有活性炭的高比表面的特性。可广泛的用于废气、废水等环保部门及制药食品等工业,还可用作催化剂载体。
实施例:
一、工艺配方:
活性炭60% 海泡石23% 星子高岭土17%
二、步骤:
1.取总料:500kg
称取:活性炭300kg 海泡石115kg 星子土85kg
将称好的单料分别投进容量为1.5吨的球磨坛中,按料∶球∶水=1∶1.5∶1.2加入球子和水,然后封盖、运行26小时。
2.将球磨好了的泥浆通过180的振动筛后流入搅拌池中进行搅拌。
3.用双缸泵将泥浆从搅拌池中压入榨泥机,过滤、榨干。
4.将榨干的泥片投入真空练泥机中,练成泥段。
将泥段用塑料薄膜包好,放置65小时,即陈腐。
5.将陈腐后的泥料再练一遍,使泥段内的水分进一步均匀化。
6.将精练后的泥段投入配置好钢模的强挤机内进行挤压成型,挤压压力为20公斤。
7.将生坯用红外线进行干燥。
8.将干坯用匣钵装好,用石墨将坯体全部埋没。
9.装窑、煅烧,烧到1200~1250℃后冷却,出窑。
10.对成品蜂窝活性炭进行检验。
a、检查它的外表面,看看是否有裂纹。
b、用0℃和100℃的水浸泡3小时,看看制品是否溶化在水中,高压蒸汽中也不溶,及耐酸、耐碱浸泡。
如果既无裂纹,又不溶于水中,这样的制品即为合格品。
该产品送有关部门检测,其结果列于表1及如前所述。

1一种耐水性蜂窝状活性炭的制造方法,其特征在于:把50~70重量%活性炭,17~35重量%海泡石,13~25重量%高岭土采用陶瓷工艺制造成耐水性蜂窝状活性炭,该工艺为:三种原料经称料、球磨、过筛、搅拌、榨泥、练泥、陈腐、练泥、挤压成型、干燥、煅烧、检验、包装入库。
2根据权利要求1所述的制造方法,其特征在于球磨时料∶球∶水=1∶1.7~1.5∶1.5~1.2,球磨24~28小时。
3.根据权利要求1所述的制造方法,其特征在于陈腐时间为60~70小时。
4.根据权利要求1所述的制造方法,其特征在于挤压成型时强挤机的挤压压力为15~25公斤。
5.根据权利要求1所述的制造方法,其特征在于煅烧时坯体的四周空隙用石墨填满,烧成温度为1100~1280℃,烧成时间16~26小时。
