Abstract

本发明提供一种液晶显示装置及其背光模组。所述背光模组包括背板、光学膜片、多条光纤及反光罩,多条光纤用于传导光线以构成背光模组的灯条,光学膜片和背板相对间隔设置以限定出允许光线传导的腔体,反光罩将多条光纤固定于腔体的侧边,使得光纤与背板具有一预定夹角,并且反光罩位于光纤的出光处,以调节光线进入腔体时的角度,背板用于将传导至其上的光线反射至光学膜片。本发明能够确保用于大尺寸液晶显示装置时光线在传导及混合后的均匀性。

液晶显示装置及其背光模组
技术领域
本发明涉及液晶显示技术领域,具体而言,涉及一种背光模组(Backlight module)以及具有该背光模组的液晶显示装置。
背景技术
背光型液晶显示装置由显示面板和背光模组构成,根据光源入射位置的不同背光模组可分成侧向式(Side-light type)与直下式(Direct-lighttype)两种。其中,侧向式是指光源设置于显示面板侧边,光线入射到导光板并通过导光板将线光线转换为均匀的面光源,直下式是指光源列阵于显示面板背部,光线通过光学膜片转换成均匀的面光源,并且这两种方式的背光模组目前普遍采用LED作为光源。
近年来随着技术的发展,业界提出了一种结合侧向式与直下式技术的入光方案,其通过空气以及背板底面的曲面设置完成光线的传导及混合,从而无需导光板,但当前该入光方案仅适用于较小尺寸的液晶显示装置,原因在于大尺寸产品需要光线在空气中传输的距离较远,仅凭背板底面的曲面设置的反射很难将光线传导至较远距离,且光线在传导及混合后的均匀性难以保证,另外光线在空气中多次反射,导致光损失严重,不符合大趋势下社会提倡的环保节能要求。
发明内容
鉴于此,本发明实施例提供一种液晶显示装置及其背光模组,能够确保用于大尺寸液晶显示装置时光线在传导及混合后的均匀性。
本发明采用的一个技术方案是提供一种背光模组。所述背光模组包括背板、光学膜片、多条光纤以及反光罩,其中,多条光纤沿同一方向间隔设置且用于传导光线以构成背光模组的灯条,光学膜片和背板相对间隔设置以限定出允许光线传导的腔体,反光罩将多条光纤固定于腔体的侧边,使得每一光纤与背板所处的水平方向均具有一预定夹角,并且反光罩位于多条光纤的出光处,以调节光线进入腔体时的角度,背板用于将传导至背板上的光线反射至光学膜片。
其中,光线包括多条光纤传导太阳以及照明设备所发出的光线。
其中,背板朝向光学膜片的表面设置为内陷式弧形曲面。
其中,背板朝向光学膜片的表面与光学膜片相平行。
其中,背板还包括贴附于朝向光学膜片的表面上的反射片。
其中,反光罩为U型或V型结构,多条光纤位于U型或V型结构的底部,U型或V型结构的开口作为多条光纤的出光处。
其中,每一光纤与背板所处的水平方向具有的预定夹角为27度。
其中,背光模组进一步包括与反光罩相固定的定位件,反光罩与背板相固定,定位件包括多个迫紧孔,多条光纤一一对应穿过多个迫紧孔,定位件紧配合固定多条光纤。
本发明采用的另一个技术方案是提供一种液晶显示装置。所述液晶显示装置包括显示面板以及上述背光模组及其任一项可优选方案,显示面板设置于背光模组的光学膜片背向背板的一侧。
其中,液晶显示装置还包括前框,前框将显示面板压持于反光罩上。
通过上述技术方案,本发明实施例的液晶显示装置及其背光模组,光纤的采用使得可选择的发出光线的光源更多,包括但不仅限于当前业界普遍使用的LED等照明设备,例如光纤还可以传导太阳发出的光线,另外反光罩可调节光线的出射角度,使得光线无需经过背板曲面的多次反射即可传导至较远距离,从而确保光线在传导及混合后的均匀性,有利于液晶显示装置的大尺寸发展趋势,并且光线无需进行多次反射,可减少光损失,符合大趋势下社会提倡的环保节能要求。

下面将结合本发明实施例中的附图,对本发明实施例中的技术方案进行清楚、完整地描述,显然,本发明以下所描述的实施例仅仅是本发明的一部分实施例,而不是本发明全部的实施例。基于本发明中的实施例,本领域普通技术人员在没有作出创造性劳动的前提下所获得的所有其它实施例,都属于本发明所保护的范围。
图1是本发明的背光模组一实施例的结构剖视图。如图1所示,背光模组10采用侧向式与直下式技术相结合的入光方案,其包括背板11、光学膜片12、多条光纤13以及反光罩14,其中,多条光纤13沿同一方向(即背光模组10的侧边方向)间隔设置且用于传导光线以构成背光模组10的灯条(光源),光学膜片12和背板11相对间隔设置以限定出允许光线传导的腔体,反光罩14将多条光纤13固定于所述腔体的侧边,使得每一条光纤13与背板11所处的水平方向均具有一预定夹角,并且反光罩14位于多条光纤13的出光处,用以调节光线进入腔体时的角度,背板11用于将传导至所述背板11上的光线反射至光学膜片12,光线通过光学膜片12转换成均匀的面光源。
光纤13的采用使得背光模组10可选择的光源种类更多,包括但不仅限于当前业界普遍使用的LED等照明设备,例如光纤13还可以传导太阳发出的光线,相比传统照明设备更加符合绿色环保概念。
由于光纤13与背板11所处的水平方向具有预定夹角,因此光线在反光罩14中会经过多次反射且进入腔体时具有一出射角,可见反光罩14能够调节光线的出射角,相比较于现有技术,光线无需经过背板11曲面的多次反射即可传导至较远距离,从而确保光线经过传导及混合后在远距离区域与出光处附近区域的均匀性,有利于液晶显示装置的大尺寸发展趋势,另外光线无需进行多次反射,可减少使用照明设施时的光损失,符合大趋势下社会提倡的环保节能要求。
为了更好的阐述上述目的、技术特征以及相比现有技术所产生的有益效果,下文示例性的列举背光模组10的各个元件的结构。
参阅图1所示,所述反光罩14固定于背板11的侧边且为U型结构条状,当然也可以为V型结构,反光罩14(的U型结构)的开口作为多条光纤13的出光处,多条光纤13位于反光罩14(的U型结构)的底部。其中,可采用胶带黏贴或外设定位件的方式将多条光纤13定位于反光罩14的底部,具体而言,反光罩14上固定有图2所示的定位件15,定位件15包括多个迫紧孔,多条光纤13一一对应穿过所述多个迫紧孔151,通过定位件15的紧配合即可固定多条光纤13。
再次参阅图1所示,由于每一条光纤13与背板11所处的水平方向具有预定夹角,因此光纤13发出的光线一部分经过反光罩14的下半部分直接反射入光学膜片12,一部分经过反光罩14的上半部分反射至背板11的表面并经过背板11表面的反射进入光学膜片12,还有一部分经过反光罩14的上、下半部分的反射直接进入光学膜片12或传导至背板11的表面,另有一部分无需经过反光罩14的反射直接传导至背板11的表面并经过背板11表面的反射进入光学膜片12。
根据背光模组10所适用的液晶显示装置的尺寸,即光线所传导的最远距离的实际要求,上述预定夹角可进行实际取值,例如预定夹角为27°时,光纤13所传导出的光线较为准直,并且经过反光罩14的反射后可保证较多的光线传导至较远距离。并且,预定夹角在不同取值时,反射入光学膜片12的光线不一定全部包括上述四部分。
为了减少光线在反光罩14中的光损失,反光罩14的内表面可采用具有良好光反射效果的金属平滑面,或贴附有具有良好光反射效果的反射片。同理,背板11朝向光学膜片12的表面可采用具有良好光反射效果的金属平滑面,或贴附有具有良好光反射效果的反射片。其中,背板11具有的金属平滑面不仅包括与光学膜片12平行的水平面,还包括内陷式弧形曲面,且内陷式弧形曲面的曲率半径应综合液晶显示装置的尺寸以及上述预定夹角、反光罩14的开口大小进行设计。
另外,光学膜片12的边缘区域可承载于反光罩14以及背板11朝向光学膜片12的延伸部上,光学膜片12可以为扩散片、棱镜片、逆棱镜片(Turning Prism Sheet)、增亮膜(Bright Enhancement Film,BEF)、反射式增亮膜(Dual Bright Enhancement Film,BEF)、非多层膜式反射偏光片(Diffused Reflective Polarizer Film,DRPF)或上述任意组合。
在本发明的其他实施例中,背光模组10可进一步设置有导光板,该导光板位于上述腔体中,即夹持于背板11与光学膜片12之间。此时,背光模组10进行光线反射、传导及混合的原理与上述相同。
本发明实施例进一步提供一种液晶显示装置,包括显示面板、前框以及上述背光模组10,所述显示面板设置于背光模组10的光学膜片12背向背板11的一侧,并且可以被前框压持于胶框上,或压持于背板11朝向反光罩14的延伸部上,又或者反光罩14上。
所述液晶显示装置具有上述背光模组10所能产生的有益效果。

Claims (10)

1.一种背光模组,其特征在于,所述背光模组包括背板、光学膜片、多条光纤以及反光罩,其中,所述多条光纤沿同一方向间隔设置且用于传导光线以构成所述背光模组的灯条,所述光学膜片和所述背板相对间隔设置以限定出允许所述光线传导的腔体,所述反光罩将所述多条光纤固定于所述腔体的侧边,使得每一所述光纤与所述背板所处的水平方向均具有一预定夹角,并且所述反光罩位于所述多条光纤的出光处,以调节所述光线进入所述腔体时的角度,所述背板用于将传导至所述背板上的所述光线反射至所述光学膜片。
2.根据权利要求1所述的背光模组,其特征在于,所述光线包括所述多条光纤传导太阳以及照明设备所发出的光线。
3.根据权利要求1所述的背光模组,其特征在于,所述背板朝向所述光学膜片的表面设置为内陷式弧形曲面。
4.根据权利要求1所述的背光模组,其特征在于,所述背板朝向所述光学膜片的表面与所述光学膜片相平行。
5.根据权利要求3或4所述的背光模组,其特征在于,所述背板还包括贴附于朝向所述光学膜片的所述表面上的反射片。
6.根据权利要求1所述的背光模组,其特征在于,所述反光罩为U型或V型结构,所述多条光纤位于所述U型或V型结构的底部,所述U型或V型结构的开口作为所述多条光纤的出光处。
7.根据权利要求6所述的背光模组,其特征在于,每一所述光纤与所述背板所处的水平方向具有的所述预定夹角为27度。
8.根据权利要求1所述的背光模组,其特征在于,所述背光模组还包括与所述反光罩相固定的定位件,所述反光罩与所述背板相固定,所述定位件包括多个迫紧孔,所述多条光纤一一对应穿过所述多个迫紧孔,所述定位件紧配合固定所述多条光纤。
9.一种液晶显示装置,其特征在于,所述液晶显示装置包括显示面板以及权利要求1-8任意一项所述的背光模组,所述显示面板设置于所述背光模组的所述光学膜片背向所述背板的一侧。
10.根据权利要求9所述的液晶显示装置,其特征在于,所述液晶显示装置还包括前框,所述前框将所述显示面板压持于所述反光罩上。
