本发明提供了一种多输入多输出通信系统的时间延迟估计方法,包括:接收机计算MIMO多输入多输出通信系统的信道响应矩阵,其中,该MIMO通信系统中有n个发射通道和m个接收通道,n≥2,m≥2,信道响应矩阵包含n*m个子信道的信道响应;接收机根据信道响应矩阵计算n*m个子信道分别相对于参考子信道的整数时间延迟,其中,参考子信道为n*m个子信道中任意一个子信道;接收机根据信道响应矩阵计算n*m个子信道的分数时间延迟;接收机根据n*m个子信道的时间延迟分离出m个接收通道的时间延迟。本发明还提供了一种估计装置和系统,可以实时在线地对MIMO通信系统各通道的整数时间延迟和分数时间延迟进行估计,测量精度高。
